Chandrelle's POV:

I seriously couldn't believe what was happening. I couldn't love him. No. Impossible. The boy wonder was my target. And yet...ugh! Over the past few weeks, he clearly has shown an interest in me. He's been 'training' me as well. I'd like to think that I couldn't possible get any better than how Jasper trained me but now I'm..dare I say it..improving.

I pushed myself closer to the cold brick wall and tried not to look down. My feet slowly shuffled across the ledge as I scaled the building. I took a deep breath. Keep it together, Chandrelle. You won't fall if you're careful. I gently told myself.

"Sparrow, are you in yet?" M'gann telepathically asked me.

"Almost." I responded. "It's slippery up here."

"Be careful Chandrelle." Robin's voice echoed softly.

I took another deep breath and crept further along. This was my first mission on my own and even though I'm supposed to destroy this team, I couldn't help but want to succeed. Not because I didn't want to disappoint them, but because I hate failing.

As I was lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice that I had run out of the ledge and I suddenly found myself falling and screaming. My instincts kicked in and I immediately threw my arms up in a desperate attempt to catch onto something.

Success.

I had somehow managed to grab ahold of a flag pole about 30 feet before I hit the ground. I breathed a sigh of relief but I was now stuck.

"Chandrelle! Are you alright?!" Robin's panicked voice filled my head.

My hands gripped the pole tighter. "Yeah. Yeah I think I'm alright." I answered.

"Hang on, I'm coming to get you."

I didn't have to wait long. The bioship was soon below me and I dropped onto the roof. A small hole opened up and I jumped through. I was immediately pulled into a tight hug by Robin.

"Thank goodness you're okay." He looked so concerned.

I struggled to smile. "I'm fine, really. Just lost my footing."

Robin shook his head. "How many times am I going to have to save you?" He teased.

I shrugged and gave a weak smile.

Before I could stop him, Robin leaned in and kissed me.

And I couldn't help but kiss him back.
