Chapter 5

"GOOD MORNING ICHIGO!" Isshin yelled before soaring through the air. He was promptly found on the ground.

Looking around he tried to find the reason why, he looked up at Kagome who has snagged his shirt and pulled him down.

"Let Ichigo sleep Uncle Isshin. I'll wake him up when we decide to go to school." She gave him a calm smile as she dragged him back to the damaged area. "Now let's clean."

Hours passed and it was midday and Ichigo had yet to wake thanks to Kagome's words. It was 10 when Kagome walked into the room, dressed in Karakura High School girl's uniform, she smiled and walked over to Ichigo, fingers drawing over his set jawline.

"Wake up." She said, she watched as his brown hues opened, she watched as the sleep drifted away.

"Kagome..." He said. His breath was caught in his throat and he looked at her, then his arms pulled her to him and he hugged her against him.

"I thought I lost you." He muttered into the side of her head. Kagome smiled into his hair and ran her hands through his hair.

"It's okay, I'm here," She whispered. "Everything's fine, everyone's fine, and they want to know you are to."

He let her go and gasped, "Are the others fine?" He said almost frantically.

"Yes, and they don't remember a thing." She said. "So get up and let's live life like nothing happened okay?"

With that she left the room. Ichigo had questions to ask her, he had a heck of a lot of questions but right now he was happy with her being there and everyone being okay.

43 minutes later found the two inside the school and Kagome checked in with the office. It would seem they were in the same class. Walking into the noisy class all they heard from the other side of the class was. "THEN IS HE INJURED!? OR Dea-"

Kagome laughed as Ichigo threw his backpack into his friends head. Looking at her you realized it was it was Tatsuki. She was about to greet the other girl when she noticed a certain black haired shinigami.

She looked at her, glare firmly in place. "Rukia what are you doing here?" She asked barely a whisper.

The other girl looked at her then back at Ichigo seeing them in a conversation. "I was told to stay here until I can bring you with me."

Kagome growled inwardly she refused to go back to that screwed up system known as Soul Society. Seeing as how they wanted to keep her caged, to keep her from being tainted.

"I will never go with you." Was all she got to say as she notice Rukia no longer paying attention to her and introducing herself to Ichigo.

Kagome would definitely have to get rid of her and fast if she wanted to live normally.

"You're.. you are Kurosaki-kun?" Rukia smiled, "Nice to meet you."

Kagome watched the interaction for a moment before she noticed Rukia slyly checking her cousin out after she had equally as sly threatened him.

"Ichigo after class, can you show me around?" Kagome asked as she walked and stood beside Ichigo.

"Sure Kagome."
