Kinoshita Yuuko
Yuuko's arms were around Hideyoshi, holding him against her body as she attempted to comfort him, her hand wiping away the uncommon tear from his eyes. When had been the last time I held Hideyoshi like this? Was it back in junior high, during our first year when that group of boys had been picking on him? That was so long ago, so long since they had been in each other's arms. Being this close to him made her feel at peace.
But what if someone saw them here like this? It wasn't like she was supposed to have such a close relationship with her little brother. Most, if not all, of her fellow classmates and the other students familiar with her thought that she despised Hideyoshi, thinking him as nothing but absolute trash to be stepped on underfoot.
But he wasn't trash, he had never been trash, he could never be trash. He's her own flesh and blood, so how could she call him trash when he's her twin brother? It'd be like looking herself in the mirror and calling herself trash (it's close enough with how much he actually does look like her). And how could she do something like that? It's ludicrous; insane; impractical!
Hideyoshi's hold around her loosened a little as he began to speak. "Thank you," His voice was soft and low, "I feel a lot better, so, thank you, sis."
When had been the last time she had helped him out like this, when he was quite troubled over something; when was the last time she had comforted him like this; the last time she had held him as he cried? And when was the last time he had said 'thank you' to her like he was doing so at the moment?
Yuuko reluctantly pulled apart from him as they were finished with their embrace. She was smiling at him as he returned her smile, a beautiful smile that caused her heart beat to rise. "Sister..." Hideyoshi began, only half-sounding like he was going to continue.
Before he could continue, if he was going to continue, Yuuko stopped him. "Shut up and eat." She told him, crossing her arms as she kept the smile on her face. His smile only seemed to grow more beautiful as he nodded in obedience, reaching down and taking his boxed lunch into his hands, bringing it to his lap.
When was the last time they had ate together like this here at school?
Shimada Minami
Akihisa had said she was going to go use the restroom, at that time he had thought nothing of it. There had been plenty of times when Akihisa had said he was going to the restroom in the past, so why would Minami find it strange this one time? Well, because he remembered that Akihisa is a girl now. So here he was, standing in front of the two restrooms side by side, with no clue as to which one to look in.
Just up until yesterday, Akihisa was a boy, so she would be using the boy's restroom, right?
But then again, Akihisa is now a girl, so she would see the logic in using the girls' restroom, right?
Well, maybe that isn't exactly true considering that he can be an idiot some of the time if not most of the time, but she can be perverted sometimes too, so it had to be the girl's restroom, right?
But then again, Akihisa is an idiot, so even if her body is a girl's she would still undoubtedly go into the boy's restroom, right? Even if she is perverted in the mind.
Just then a sudden realization came to Minami, causing him to snap his head to the right to look at the third restroom - Hideyoshi's restroom.
Of course! It would make the most sense if she used Hideyoshi's restroom! As a girl who was just recently a boy, she just had to feel the need to use Hideyoshi's restroom since he's a boy in a girl's body.
But what if Akihisa decided to be a pervert and go into the girl's restroom regardless?
Or what if he was just his lovable idiotic self and went into the boy's restroom?
That was when a girl's energetic voice brought Minami out of his thoughts. "Honey!"
It was a reflex to turn to face his assailant, shouting out her name in surprise before being tackled down onto the ground. Sparkling yellow eyes looked down at him, causing him to cringe as he knew the basis of what was coming. "Honey, is it true that you're a guy? Is it true that you can finally accept my undying love for you!?" She asked him, looking into his eyes with her hopeful eyes.
"Get off of me, Miharu!" Minami placed his hands against her, attempting to push the girl off of him but Miharu simply clinged to him, not giving any ground at all. Finally, Minami was able to muster enough strength to get Miharu directly off of him, but before he could stand up all the way, Miharu had latched onto his arm, pressing her chest against it as she rubbed her head against his shoulder.
"Is it true honey," She had stopped rubbing her head against him and was now earnestly looking up at his face. "are you really a guy!?"
If Minami had always been a guy, and was in this situation like he was right now, he might have gotten embarrassed by the soft feel of her chest again his arm; the close proximity her face was in with his own; her hot breath falling against his face.
But he had only been a guy since he had woken up, and being a girl for all of his life (except for this one day), the feelings he was experiencing right now didn't mean anything to him though it did serve to redden his face.
"L-let me go, Miharu!" Minami told her, placing her free arm's hand against the girl's forehead and pushing her back. She held onto him, not giving any leeway. If Minami hadn't been so focused on just getting her off and away, he would have noticed where her free hand was going before it was too late.
Yoshii Akihisa
Akihisa snuck back down the stairs silently and unseen, not wanting to reveal to the two siblings that she had been spying on them. She hadn't heard what they were speaking about, not a word of it. But she could tell from how they looked at each other, and from that embrace they had shared. Others may think it was just a normal embrace between siblings, but Akihisa was able to see it was so much more than normal. It was an embrace filled with love, and not just family love.
Akihisa knew how Hideyoshi felt about his sister. He didn't know the details but he could still see it in his eyes when he thought of her, when she was around, when she was mentioned, and etcetera. And when he had managed a look into Yuuko's own eyes at times, he could see feelings for him hidden even from her herself. But that had been before today; today, those feelings were not hidden from her. Yuuko now knew her own feelings for Hideyoshi.
A sad smile formed on Akihisa's face.
It's funny... her greatest love rival is Hideyoshi's own sister.
And then there was Minami...
Akihisa didn't know how it had happened, but her heart had split in two. One side of her loved Minami, the other side loved Hideyoshi. That had always been the reason she always confessed to Hideyoshi and treated him as a girl. That's always why she had to insist Hideyoshi use a different changing room - because she wouldn't be able to resist herself if she saw him changing... if she saw his bare chest.
Before today, both sides of her, or rather him, knew that Hideyoshi and he were guys, that their love could never be. He had known that you could always challenge that, challenge love that is never meant to be. But it is wrong, no matter what. But they weren't both guys now, he, rather she, is a girl now.
And Minami is a guy.
Akihisa didn't know who she loved more, if she could love one over the other. Hideyoshi, always kind and gentle to her, she could always be herself around him like she could with Minami. But that kindness and gentleness he always showed her, set him apart from Minami, the only thing that had been going against him was the fact that he's a guy.
And that he loved his sister...
Akihisa held a hand to her forehead, wincing as her mind started hurting from thinking too much. She paused for a moment, not thinking too hard or really at all until she was able to stop hurting some. She never noticed Ironman catching sight of her and running up to catch her. Rounding a corner, she suddenly halted as she remembered something.
Miharu was her other love rival,
and she had her hand up Minami's skirt.
That was when Iron Man rounded the corner.
Kinoshita Hideyoshi
Since Yuuko had started eating before him, she was easily finished before he could even get half of his food eaten. Instead of leaving for her classroom like she normally would once she finished, she instead stayed there with him, waiting patiently for him to finish. He felt his heart beat increase just slightly at her affectionate gesture, his cheeks growing warmer as his blush deepened. He knew that she was only doing it because she was being there for him in his time of trouble, but he wanted to imagine that she was here because she cared so much more than she let on for him.
Before he knew it, he had finished his food. Disappointment washed over him as he knew they would be parting ways soon, going back to their separate classrooms. And even though Akihisa was there, she was quite a different person than his sister. His heart was split into two, one side yearned for his sister, a forbidden love that could never be, and the other side yearned for Akihisa, even when he had been a guy. It had once been a forbidden love too, but now... it was possible. But could he really choose Akihisa over sis?
"Hideyoshi," Yuuko began, standing up, causing Hideyoshi to look up at her. "If you need any help with this, just come and get me. I'm here for you, dearest brother." She smiled, a noticeable blush creeping up onto her cheeks as her words were heard by his heart.
Hideyoshi returned her smile, a sense of peace flowing into him as his cheeks grew warmer. "Thank you, sister."
Yuuko brightened her smile before turning around, waving goodbye over her shoulder as she headed for the door to the inside of the building. As Hideyoshi was gathering the boxes, he noticed a small piece of paper riding the wind towards Yuuko.
Yuuko reached out and caught it as it came within close proximity of her, her back turned to him as she examined it.
Instantly, a dark, scary, and all too familiar aura emitted from her. Her hand, after a few loud pops, formed into a fist as she looked over her shoulder at him, her eyes closed and a frightening smile that could make a vampire run in fear taking over her face. "Dearest brother, what is this?" She raised the picture so he could see it. It had been taken when Minami had been on top of him after they fell, and not only did it clearly show that Minami was indeed a guy, it also showed a very suggestive position for two guys to be in.
Hideyoshi didn't waste a moment to put his hands up in self-defense though it would do him absolutely no good. "W-wait sis! I can explain!" His heart was beating fast now, though it wasn't caused by the same emotion like it had been before.
"Don't worry; I know you would never be the one to take advantage of another guy. So, what exactly did he do to you?" Yuuko started walking towards him, her eyes slowly opening.
"S-sis!"
Story Creation Room
Minami was standing behind Akihisa, Miharu on the other side of him as she tried to get to her 'honey'. "Honey~ I just want to check to see if you're a guy right here and now~" She told the other girl as she tried to reach her arms around Akihisa to get to her.
"Stay away, Miharu!" Minami exclaimed, ducking under her arms. "Akihisa! Help!"
Akihisa seemed to not be hearing their commotion. "Hideyoshi…" He said, his eyes still having water in them.
Kouta, in the meantime, had blood dripping from his nose as he thought lewd thoughts of the Kinoshita siblings who were currently staring, or glaring, at each other while they sat beside each other.
"In love with your sister, dearest brother?" Yuuko asked, her eyes narrowed as she rested an elbow on the table and her cheek on her fist.
"In love with your brother, dearest sister?" Hideyoshi asked her calmly, his own elbow also resting on the table but his cheek resting in his palm.
"Why does it seem Hideyoshi is becoming more like his sister in here?" The author asked, looking over at the twins with a blank look on his face.
