Thank you for your kind words :) You keep this story alive!
I slipped out of his mind and focused on his features again.
His hair was rather long and dark. If I didn't know he was male I could've easily mistaken him for a woman. He looked mal nourished, and his eyes looked as if they held many stories. His skin nearly glowed in the dark from the full moon's light.
But his clothes! What a fashion sense! Jandels, Hawaiian shirt and shorts. Where did he think he was? New Zealand in the middle of summer?
"Myrnin." I tested the word. It wasn't a word I would use every day. It's not even a name that I've even heard before!
Myrnin looked at me as if I was about to run him over with an 18 wheeler.
"So you must be Cecile!" He exclaimed excitedly. He was nearly jumping up and down in the spot, much like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh.
"Oh I've heard so much about you and your gift. Come, come." He motioned for me to follow before he turned on his heel. I stayed where I was. I'm sure he was on some kind of drug.
I raised a questioning brow to his back.
"And where exactly do you think I'll follow you to?" I asked the strange man.
He turned around and looked at me as if I was an idiot.
"Didn't Amelie tell you? You're starting your lessons."
"Of course she told me. But she said I should find you tomorrow night."
Myrnin snapped his fingers. "Oh right! So that must be why you didn't turn up this evening."
I smiled and shrugged. "Sorry. Oh, and sorry about smacking you in the face with," I lifted up my frying pan.
He waved it away. "It was my fault. You have a good arm I must say."
"Well, I'll see you tomorrow then Myrnin." I smiled and waved.
"Farewell!" He grinned and disappeared.
Now that I think about it, his name does seem familiar…
I shrugged off the thought. Time to clean up that mess before sunrise.
Gosh, it's really short! Sorry 'bout that. (Gosh I'm embarrassed) I hope it's ok.
Please review :)
