Hollyleaf returned to the camp with Lily, Claw, Flint, and Thorn. She hoped that the three new cats would be able to fit in with the others and that Shadow and Whisper would be ready to come to the camp tomorrow. She was still thinking of Whisper and Shadow when she heard pawsteps coming towards her and the others. Blinking she turned her head to see Lionblaze, her brother, approaching them.

"You could only find three cats willing to join?" Lionblaze asked frowning.

"No, actually we found two other cats but they wanted to spend one last night in their den," Hollyleaf explained to her brother.

"Well, okay," Lionblaze meowed dipping his head to his sister.

"You seem like you have something on your mind," Hollyleaf meowed to her brother.

"I was just thinking of something, but never mind its nothing," Lionblaze told his sister walking away before she could see anything else.

Hollyleaf watched her brother leave stunned and she shook her head wondering what her brother had wanted to talk about. 'Oh, well I guess he'll tell me when he is ready,' she thought looking around. 'I should tell Jayfeather about our new clan mates,' she thought heading towards her brother and she heard paw steps behind her and realized that Lily was following her. She smiled at her brothers apprentice before walking over to her brother. "Hey, Jayfeather, we have five new clan mates. Only three came back with me today and the other two will come by tomorrow," she told her brother.

"That sounds good," Jayfeather meowed frowning.

"Jayfeather whats wrong?" Hollyleaf asked her brother.

"I think you're wasting time waiting to get your nine lives," Jayfeather told his sister.

"I know, if you want we can leave tonight. I guess I don't really have to be here to welcome Shadow and Whisper into the clan Rose can do that," Hollyleaf meowed.

"Sounds good to me," Jayfeather meowed.

"Is there anything else you wanted to speak about?" Hollyleaf asked her brother.

"Yes there was," Jayfeather meowed.

"Well, what else did you want to speak about," Hollyleaf asked her brother.

"I think that after you receive your nine lives that we should leave this cave and go through your ideas about the camp," Jayfeather meowed.

"Yes, we'll do that to, but we'll have to search for a good camp," Hollyleaf told her brother.

"I know," Jayfeather meowed.

"Okay, well should we leave for the moonpool now?" she asked her brother.

"I think that would be best, Lily I'm sure you can take care of the clan while we're gone," Jayfeather meowed without even turning his head towards his apprentice.

"O-Of course," Lily stammered clearly surprised that Jayfeather had noticed her. She had thought that Jayfeather hadn't even known that she had followed Hollyleaf over to this spot.

"Good," Jayfeather meowed before heading towards the cave entrance.

Hollyleaf gave her brothers apprentice one final glance before she bounded after him. She couldn't believe that she was finally on her way to get her nine lives, and didn't know if she should be elated or nervous about getting her nine lives. "What if Starclan won't give me nine lives?" she asked her brother the thought having just hit her and she nervously waited for his answer.

"I don't know, but I don't think you have anything to worry about," Jayfeather told her.

"How can you be so sure?" Hollyleaf asked her brother her green eyes filled with worry.

"I don't know, it's just a feeling I have," Jayfeather told his sister with a sigh.

"Oh..okay," Hollyleaf meowed falling silent as she continued following her brother. "Will we have to cross through Windclan territory?" she asked her brother hoping that they wouldn't have to.

"Yes the only known way to get to the Moonpool is to follow the stream that borders Thunderclan from Windclan," Jayfeather told his sister.

"Mousedung, I wish there was some other way," Hollyleaf hissed with a lash of her tail.

"Well, there isn't," Jayfeather snapped.

"Okay," Hollyleaf meowed unhappily as she followed her brother straight into Windclan territory. The moved slowly flinching every time they heard a noise but they managed to make it to the stream without meeting any Windclan cats. She followed her brother along the stream casting nervous glances across the border towards Thunderclan hoping they weren't caught by either clan. She let out a relieved sigh when she realized that none of the other clans had caught them but her relief didn't last because soon enough she caught the scent of at least two Windclan cats. "What's going on?" she asked her brother.

"I don't know, it isn't the night for a medicine cat meeting," Jayfeather hissed back.

Hollyleaf quickened her pace so that she was walking ahead of Jayfeather and she halted in surprise when she saw Crowfeather and Breezepelt standing before her. "What are you doing here," she growled unsheathing her claws.

"Oh just killing a few traitors, we thought you and your brothers were dead. Now we get to kill more then one traitor," a cat hissed from behind them.

Jayfeather startled at the voice recognizing the voice instantly. He could believe that cats would dare to attack other cats at the Moonpool. It was a sacred place and he thought that at least cats would be to wary to attack other cats at the Moonpool.

Hollyleaf spun around arching her back when she saw Nightcloud. She hissed as the black she-cat attacked her and she bit and clawed at the cat hoping that she would be able to chase of Nightcloud. She could hear her father fighting against Breezepelt and she hoped that all of them would survive. She didn't even want Nightcloud or Breezepelt to die even though they had started the fight. She was losing hope on not being able to chase off Nightcloud and Breezepelt when clouds suddenly covered the moon and Breezepelt and Nightcloud ran off.
