Disclaimer: Do I really need to say it? Okay, I will anyway, I don't own the rights to Fullmetal Alchemist, however, writing this story is pretty interesting.

So, with the timE I've had to think I know exactly what I want to do for Envy's revenge towards my "Trisha" character. I think you will find out in the next chapter, but for now, you'll just have to wait and keep guessing what I have in mind.

All I can say about it is this, it's nothing too extreme, however, it's very close to being some sort of prank.

So, yeah, let's get right into this week's chapter!

Chapter 6: Intervention

For the rest of that day, Ed had a hard time focusing on the remainder of his classes. He was at crossroads between what he wanted to do. Did he want to follow Winry, his childhood friend's advice, and avoid helping Envy, or was he going to cave into his curiosity?

During the final period, however, Envy decided to sit next to the young teen once again.

"So, have you made your choice?" Asked Envy with a devious smile.

"Not yet. Remember, I'll give my answer on the bus," Said Ed, feeling a bit pressured.

"Aw, come on, what I have in mind isn't going to hurt much people. Besides, it outta be fun!" Said Envy with an excited tone in his voice.

"I don't know..." Said Ed, hesitantly.

"Trust me, Chibi, I have ways of making it difficult to pinpoint my own tricks. Besides, don't you wanna at least see what I have in mind?" Asked Envy, keeping his devious smile.

Ed took a second to think, right before Couch Armstrong interrupted all the talking in the gym.

"Good afternoon, Students. I see that you all have been working your minds pretty hard during the morning, well, now, it's time for you to work your bodies out as well (and keep your head out of the gutter)," Started Armstrong.

As Armstrong was talking, Envy whispered something along the lines of, "Okay, I guess we can talk about it on the bus," to Ed.

That period, Armstrong made the students slit into two teams to play a game of Flag football, with Envy on the opposite team as Ed.

Envy did relatively good, due to his flexibility and speed, but, Ed, on the other hand, had room for improvement.

In the end, Envy's team won the game with 9 - 5.

Once the game ended, Envy returned to his seat on the bleachers, and waited for Ed to come out of the locker room.

As he waited, he kept his mind on his plan.

"Oh, Trisha is so gonna taste sweet, sweet revenge!" Thought Envy, smirking at the thought.

A minute later, Ed walked out of the locker room, glanced at Envy, who was thinking to himself. The young teen then took a seat a few rows away from the green haired teen.

"He may consider me a friend, but, with the things that are going on, I don't know what I want to do..." Thought Ed, pulling his Sherlock Holmes book out from his bag to read it for the rest of the period.

However, there were some interruptions that would happen every few minutes involving that rumour from the previous day.

"How's your BOYfriend doing, Elric?" Said a short, bald senior who had an appearance that was similar to that of a lizard, taking a seat next to Ed.

"He's not my boyfriend," Said Ed calmly, turning his attention from his book to his peer.

"Oh, come now, Elric! No need to lie to your chum, Bido!" Said the bald teen, putting his arm around Ed's shoulders.

As Bido was bothering Ed, Envy was brought out from his thoughts.

"Bido," Said Envy with an angry tone, not looking at the lizard like student.

Bido started to show physical signs of fear, moving his arm from Ed's shoulders and said, "Y...yes, Envy?"

"Get. Away. From. Edward." Said Envy angrily, turning around to face Bido.

"O...okay...just...just don't hurt me, Envy!" Said Bido, rising from his seat, walking away from Ed.

Once Bido took a seat elsewhere, Envy got up from his seat and took Bido's former seat.

"Envy, you stuck up for me..." Said Ed, a bit surprised.

"Of course, you're my friend," Said Envy. "And friends help each other out, to my understanding."

"Envy, does this have to do with what you want to do to get back to Trisha?" Asked Ed.

"Well, maybe a bit. But, I can tell you this, Bido was annoying you, and that annoyed me," Said Envy. "The thing about him is that he acts tough, but, in reality, he's just a big wimp."

"Well, thanks, Envy," Said Ed.

"Don't mention it. Now, do you have an answer?" Asked Envy, staring into the younger teen's eyes.

As Ed was about to answer, he couldn't help but stare back.

"There's something about his eyes..." Ed thought to himself.

After a minute of silence, the final bell rang, breaking the two from their trances.

"Oh, uh, Envy, we need to catch the bus," Said Ed awkwardly.

"Yeah," Said Envy, getting up, looking at the younger teen, and extended his arm to Ed.

Ed took Envy's hand, grabbed his stuff, got up, and walked out of the gym to the bus.

Once the two teens got to their seat on the bus, Ed realised he was still holding the older teen's hand.

When Ed let go, Envy said, "Oh, right...so, your answer?"

"I'll join," Said Ed, opening his book, and continuing his reading.

"Alright! So, here's part one of my plan," Whispered Envy in Ed's ear.

After Envy told Ed the first part of his plan, he said, "As for part two, I can take care of preparing that myself."

With part one having to be set up, Envy and Ed would be spending the next couple of days together.

All right! That was Chapter 6!

Envy: I swear, Fullmetal, you better let me unleash my full plan next chapter...

Me: I will, I will, it's all part of where I want the story to go.

Ed: Did you really have to get me involved in HIS shenanigans?!

Me: It's all part of MY plan for where I want this story to go, Ed.

Ed: Well, don't make me stupid...

Envy: Trust me, Fullmetal, if you do that, he'll never let me hear the end of it...

Me: Come on, you two. Believe in me...

Anyway, I hope you all liked this chapter. I wanted to show how my version of Envy can be towards people who are harnessing the people he cares about.

As for Ed, I'll let you make your own assumptions on his feelings for Envy in this story thus far.

So, until next time, I hope you're all having a good day, night or whatever time of the day it is for you. Bye for now!
