I'M BACK! I'M SORRY FOR LEAVING YOU ALL FOR SO LONG! Life has happened sadly writing has not been a high priority for me. I've had to worry about getting through some difficult classes, and having all my time taken up by homework and marching band. I think I have too many stories up right now, and adding two more isn't going to help that. Oops.

Please check out a poll on my profile to decide which story you guys want me to focus on!

And please suggest some ideas of where to go with my stories! I'm not quite sure what to do with them! SEND OUT THE RABID PLOT BUNNIES!

Enjoy the chapter everyone!

I just sit there for a little while, holding onto my big sister and mother figure. Sally shares the mother role with Max, but she definitely can't replace her, even if her cooking is really good. After a moment we let go, and Max stands up with a huge smile on her face. The conch shell signaling breakfast sounds, so I jump up and grab her hand before dragging her out to the dining pavilion. Everyone stares as we sit together at the Poseidon table. All through breakfast I tell Max about my adventures and the things I have learned. Not even Mr. D dared to interrupt us. I think Max glared at anyone who came near, but I was too engrossed in my storytelling to notice. After breakfast I dragged Max off and showed her all around camp, and we ended up playing around in the ocean surf for a while. After lunch, and several attempts by others to split us up, we played a game of capture the flag. Max refused to wear armor, and I finally decided to as well, armor really is uncomfortable on the wings. We were on a team with the Athena campers and their allies, and we won! Without revealing our wings! It was just before dinner when Annabeth cornered me, "What is going on Percy? Who is this girl?"

"I'm sorry, but I can't tell you, not yet." I replied before running off to catch up with Max, who was talking to my cousins Bianca and Nico. After dinner Max and I went to my cabin, and she had me wait until the sun had set.

"Jay, when was the last time you flew?" Max asked as she stared into my eyes. I looked down, ashamed and responded

"The last time was when I was freed from the school. I haven't flown since."

Max then got up, took my hand and pulled me out the door. We snuck out into the woods, and she proceeded to teach me how to properly fly.

We settled into a routine that week, Max and I talked and hung out all day, occasionally including Bianca and Nico, whom, as Max told me, know about our little feathery secret, and I completely ignored the classes I was supposed to be going to. At night Max and I would practice flying, and we found out that I am not allowed to go above about one hundred feet in the air, or Uncle Z gets mad and is likely to shoot me out of the sky. I would prefer to not get vaporized by lightning thank you very much. As time passed, Max became more nervous, and she told me about the flock's adventures and how they were separated. We were walking to lunch after that discussion, and decided to leave to find the other flock members the next day, when the mummified oracle appeared. She entered the dining pavilion and the green mist began to billow around her.

The Oracle spoke

Five warriors shall answer the call,

To reunite the seven or the world will fall.

To defeat their enemies and reach the sky,

and the sea once again will be free to fly.

I shared a look with Max, we knew what "the seven" and "the sea" most likely meant. The oracle collapsed and the smoke dissipated, and the camp descended into chaos.

Sorry for the short chapter. I LOVE YOU GUYS!
