She must have blacked out afterwards.

Her vision was blurry. Dark spots danced before her eyes.

Homura reached out into the air.

Nothingness surrounded her.

"I'm here." Madoka said, she gave a pained smile.

Homura tried to speak, but her throat felt sore. It hurt to talk.

"You lost too much blood, but it's okay. You're okay."

A tear slid down Madoka's cheek.

"I'm glad."

Homura couldn't reply.

"Sorry." She rasped.

Homura spun her shield before Madoka could stop her.

"We'll meet again."

And with that she was rushed back into the past.
