Yes I am alive. I swear I had this chapter done a lot earlier. I just had some very lazy editors. (Slendy was the laziest) I'm not even joking I've been trying to get them to edit for about a year. Anyways its a stressful few years so I'm sorry. Also there were a few reviews, but a bit more than I can respond to without it being long so I won't be responding to all of them but I will answer some questions or suggestions! Hopefully the next chapter won't take as long! Thank you to everyone who favourited, followed and reviewed! Poll is still up btw!

Chapter 6

She glared at the younger girl in front of her, annoyed that she was still there. The girl, on the other hand, was completely unfazed and instead continued to stand in her way, with her arms out and her hands spread wide, blocking her from moving onward. "What the fuck do you want?" she spat out, anger underlining her words. She had been walking around aimlessly, no definite destination in mind, when the girl had started following her. At first she waved it off, thinking it was probably some pickpocket that was hoping to get a few coins out of her when she wasn't looking. But then she realized that that couldn't be the case, considering her clothes were as filthy and as ragged as the girl's, giving no evidence that she had any money. Suddenly alert, she had woven in and out of crowds, down streets, and up alleyways in order to lose her. She succeeded, or so she thought, before the girl jumped down in front of her.

The girl continued to stand there, her face indicating she had heard the question, but made no move to answer. Maybe she couldn't talk. She thought. Mutes aren't that uncommon in this area. "Look, kid, I don't know who you are, or what the hell you want, but if you can't talk, or ain't gonna, stop wasting my fucking time." She spat, turning around, and beginning to walk away, annoyed.

"I'm not a kid."

She turned around, surprised at the sound of the girl's voice, and stared at her, who had lowered her hands to her sides and was gazing at her, still with that poker face. "I'm only a year younger than you." she said with a strange calmness that sharply contrasted the anger radiating from her counterpart.

"How the fuck do you know my age?!" She practically shouted down the quiet alley. "You're only 7! And that's still a kid!" Her voice cracked slightly as she said this, feeling shaken as she remembered that she too was still a kid. She definitely hadn't felt that way in a long time, and it shocked her that someone had managed to get inside her head, ruining her normally calm composure…

"I don't. Well, didn't, anyway. And I'm not." The girl gave her an amused look. "I was just seeing how you'd react… and since you think I'm 7, then means that you must be 8. That was way too easy. I'm 5 by the way." The girl said nonchalantly, as if this was just another everyday conversation and that she hadn't just tricked someone into revealing their age. They stared at each other for a few moments before the girl held out her hand in front of her, smiling lightly. "You can call me Tsuki."

She stared at the hand, still slightly in shock, before bursting out laughing, shaking her head in amusement. Grabbing Tsuki's hand she shook it, using her other hand to wipe at the tears that had gathered in her eyes. "Pleased to meet you, Tsuki.

"HOW COULD YOU LET THIS FUCKING HAPPEN?!" Boss yelled, throwing her hands into the air in exasperation. Boss couldn't believe the nerve Slendy had to show her face, especially after she allowed Kyuubi and Hazard to be kidnapped.

"All you had to do was accept the stupid job, but apparently it wasn't gory enough for you. You even shot at them when they were probably trying to escape!" Boss shouted, standing in front of Slendy, who was sprawled on the couch, her feet hanging over the armrest. Practically growling, Boss smacked the foot nearest to her.

"Hey!" Slendy sat up, rubbing her foot. "I need this, thank you very much."

Boss could feel her temper rising. "I can't believe you aren't worried or concerned about this at all! Especially since this is ALL. YOUR. FAULT!"

Slendy shook her head, only the last three words registering in her mind. "And how exactly is this my fault?" She asked, falling backwards onto the couch again.

"I JUST TOLD YOU!" Boss threw one of the cushions at her.

Slendy caught the cushion easily, still lying on the couch, and threw it back at her. "You're at fault too, Boss."

Boss slapped the pillow away, ignoring the vase that was knocked down beside her, shattering into pieces. Slendy raised an eyebrow. "That was one of Kyuubi's favorite vases..." Boss pretended not to hear the comment. Seriously, she groaned to herself, how am I going to explain that too?

"Alright then, can you explain how it's my fault?" Boss walked over and sat down on the love-seat.

Slendy sighed. "You refused the job too, didn't you? In fact, you haven't taken one in ages." She laid down, the back of her hand resting over her eyelids. "Besides, what are you so concerned about? Kyuubi and Hazard can take care of themselves, they'll be fine."

Boss' eye twitched. "That was before I found out they were taken by a mafia family. And I have the right to be concerned over my subordinates." Grabbing another pillow she squeezed it in frustration. "Plus, it isn't just couldn't be any mafia family. No, apparently it has to be THE GODDAMN MAFIA FAMILY!" She was shouting now, almost tearing apart the pillow clenched tightly in her hands.

Slendy didn't move from her current position. "Whatever you say, Boss." She mumbled. A few seconds later, she was fast asleep.

Boss huffed. It's completely different! Its o- a loud rumbling interrupted her thoughts, as her stomach decided it was about time to complain about how empty it was. Rolling her eyes at Slendy's unmoving form, she got up, throwing the pillow at the love-seat, and began to walk to the kitchen, her mind trying to decide what to eat. Kyuubi probably has some leftovers in the fridge from the night before, so all I'll have to do is heat it up an-

Stopping in her tracks, Boss scowled. Why am I considering leftovers, when I can cook something delicious and fresh to eat myself? Nodding to herself, she changed her course from the fridge and turned towards the cupboards. As she began pulling out various pots and pans, she pursed her lips. Dishes...I don't want to wash them. She stood there for a minute, pondering her problem, and then it struck her. Slendy can do them! she thought happily. Satisfied, she grabbed a pot and put it on the counter. Making her way towards the cupboards, she pulled out the bag of sugar; she was craving something sweet.

With a yawn, Slendy woke from her slumber, eyes blinking to try and adjust to the light. A glance at the clock told her that she had gotten a few hours of rest (which was also confirmed by how relaxed she felt, which hadn't happened for a long time.) Finally, she thought, sitting up and stretching her hands into the air, I get some shut-eye. Slowly rising from the couch she noticed the crystal shards of the vase still on the carpet, and plopped back down, her relaxed mood gone.

Why do I even bother sometimes? Slendy wondered. She had taken Boss outside for the sole purpose for making sure Boss didn't break anything in the house. And what did she do? She decided to break something outside the house. That, of course, was the calamity of Hazard's motorcycle, which then led to them returning to the house, where Boss broke the vase, completely defeating the purpose of leaving the house in the first place.

And then, to make everything more stressful, after she had come back home and deposited what remained of the motorcycle at the very back of the garage, she reluctantly made some phone calls to certain contacts as Boss stood over her shoulder, trying to listen to the conversation. Boss had pretended not to hear the horrified screams coming from the other end of the call, but her disgust was evident by the expression on her face before she left to sit on the couch, mumbling something about manners and phone call etiquette.

Well, Slendy shrugged her shoulders, at least I tried be nice. Kyuubi never shuts up about telling me to be nice... she paused. I am nice, right? They couldn't blame her if next time she decided to tie Boss up and leave her in a closet to keep her from breaking anything. On second thought, Slendy thought to herself, stretching her arms and yawning again. Nice and I don't really mix.

"Slendy?" A voice spoke from the kitchen, and Slendy turned warily around to look over the back of the couch at Boss, who was hovering by the kitchen door.

"You're awake! Good! I made lunch if you're hungry." Having said her bit, she walked back into the kitchen, leaving Slendy staring after her.

Slowly, Slendy rose and headed towards the kitchen, unsure of what exactly to expect. Boss, she isn't exactly...what's the word? Stable.

The kitchen once was small and filthy, and filled with rather old, ratty appliances, that were rarely used. Once Kyuubi joined, however, the kitchen was cleaned up and take-out became a rare occurrence. Shortly after, while Kyuubi left on a mission, Boss had had the entire kitchen renovated. Everything was replaced, the flooring torn up and marble tiles took it's place, the cabinets, drawers, counters, etc all replaced and painted. She had even added an island with chair stools; more room for Kyuubi to cook and a place where everyone could eat.

Now, as Slendy walked into the kitchen, she groaned.

"Boss?"

Boss looked up from her plate. "Yes?"

"What is this?" Slendy pointed at the food spread out on the island.

Boss frowned as she answered. "It's lunch?"

Sighing, Slendy tried once more, pointing to a plate in particular. "Boss, why is there cake on that dish?"

"It's not cake. Those are macarons, that's flan, and those there are sugar cookies." Frowning even more than before, Boss replied while pointing to each sweet, as if disappointed that Slendy didn't already know this.

Resisting the urge to maim and kill, or less lethally, throw a plate (the kitchen was a sacred place, according to Kyuubi and, surprisingly enough, Hazard), Slendy walked over and sat down on one of the chairs. Grabbing a pink macaron, she tried once again. "This is lunch?" She asked, raising a brow.

"Yes." was the immediate reply.

Right, Slendy rolled her eyes as she bit into the sweet, lunch.

"I'm full." Boss fell back into her chair, a contented sigh escaping her.

You're full and definitely high on sugar. Slendy thought, silently correcting her. She couldn't help but groan. She could feel the sugar she had consumed, and it was getting to her. I'm going to crash.

Boss jumped up out of her seat. "We should go to the casino!"

Slendy didn't even bother to acknowledge her. Sometimes, bad things went away if you ignored them long enough. Hazard had told her that once. Or, at least, she had said something along those lines. Apparently, Hazard's tip didn't apply to Boss.

"OR EXERCISE! WE CAN GO ON A RUN!"

Shit, Slendy thought with the tiniest amount of horror, it has begun. She could only sit there and watch as Boss start jumping around. Technically she wasn't jumping (it was closer to vibrating in place), but regardless she was excited. On second thought, Slendy frowned a bit as she took another look at Boss, this is how she usually is...

"Come on." Boss was starting to get annoyed at the lack of response. "It'll be just like old times."

"Old times?" Slendy raised an eyebrow.

"Old times!" She said back. "You know, before Hazard and Kyuubi joined. When it was just you and me."

Slendy blinked a few times, a bit taken aback. She had forgotten about the fact that for the first year or so it had just been her and Boss. How did I survive? Nowadays, she could barely stand being in her presence for more than a few hours alone, how had they lived together for a year?

"Come on!"

Slendy rolled her eyes. "No."

Boss stopped moving, and turned to glare at Slendy. "What do you mean no?"

Slendy groaned once again, and decided to just ignore her. Boss waited a few moments for an answer, before she realized she wasn't going to get one. Annoyed, she grabbed the fork off her plate and threw it at Slendy, who completely ignored it as it flew past her head to hit the wall behind her and fall to the floor. They sat there for a few more moments in silence, before Boss got up and walked out of the kitchen.

Slendy stayed a while longer before she got up to leave as well, but not before taking a glance at the mess Boss left behind. Flour covered the entire floor, except for the heel-shaped footprints in the powdery mess. The cupboards were now very sticky, remnants of chocolate and honey smeared across the wood finish. There were opened jars and cracked eggshells strewn throughout, and the sink was full. Knowing Boss, Slendy frowned to herself, she expects me to clean up. Slendy looked around one more time before she left. It wasn't her job.

The rest of the day flew by, which wasn't saying much since there were only a few hours of daylight left. Boss retreated to the training room near the back of the house and Slendy returned to the couch, turning on the T.V and channel surfing before settling on Criminal Minds. It wasn't the most interesting show, but it kept her amused.

By the time Boss ventured back out again, covered in sweat and whining for a shower, Slendy had ordered pizza (and scared the delivery guy enough that she was pretty sure he actually pissed himself) and was now watching Jeopardy reruns, the sun having set long ago. Looking up from the TV, Slendy watched as Boss wiped her face with a towel, trying to ignore her.

"That box is yours." Slendy said, pointing. Boss didn't reply, instead walking to a nearby chair and sitting down. They passed a few more minutes in silence, Slendy watching the contestants struggle to answer the final Jeopardy as Boss had an internal debate (she was making several weird faces) before she gave in and grabbed the pizza off the table. They sat there, munching away and watching television in silence.

Suddenly, the screen shut off and then turned back on to show Gabby, her exhaustion visible on her face.

"Really? It was final Jeopardy!" Slendy scowled at her. Gabby rolled her eyes.

"What?" Boss asked the television screen, clearly expecting something.

"I know where they are." She answered, Boss sighing in relief. "Kyuubi used her credit card about 15 minutes ago." Gabby said, hesitating now. "But…"

"But what?"

"She used her real one."

OMAKE:

Buzz. Buzz. His phone was vibrating. He sighed loudly. Now of all times? He thought to himself. I'm in the middle of something. Regardless, he picked up, glancing at the caller ID before bringing the phone to his ear. "What is it?"

The voice on the other end got straight to the point. "I need information."

"You know, I'm a busy guy." He replied nonchalantly, looking over at the other people in the room, as well as the man tied to the chair that had been muttering obscenities. He kicked the chair, shooting a glare that shut him up immediately.

"What of it? The faster you tell me what I want to hear, the faster I leave you alone and you can get back to whatever you were doing." Typical Slendy.

"What's in it for me?"

There was a pause on the other end. "You know, you still owe me a favour."

Of course she'd remember that. He could practically see her grinning on the other end of the line, a smirk that meant she knew she had won. "Alright then, what do you want to know?"

"What do you know about Vongola?"

The name was a slight shock to him. "Are you serious?"

"No, I was just calling to joke about a mafia family. And later I'm going to go ding dong ditch a house!"

"Shut up."

The guy in the chair had started screaming again. How rude, the others had continued without him.

The caller paused again, hearing the man on their end. "What are you doing?"

"The usual, some idiot tried to rat us out, we're just taking out some trash."

The answer seemed to be enough for her. "Makes sense. Anyways, Vongola?"

OMAKE 2:

The delivery guy nervously waited at the door, glancing around that the huge building. It was his first job, and all of the other delivery workers insisted that he took this job, as some sort of initiation. Not really the kind of job he expected to have that kind of stuff, but he agreed to deliver it regardless. The place was much larger than he thought it'd be, and quite far out. He didn't know who lived here, but the house fascinated him much more than it scared him.

The door creaked open and he jumped a bit, startled at what stood in the doorway. His legs shook, fingers clenched tightly around the pizza boxes before he realized that he couldn't move.

"Ah, finally."

At the sound of a voice, he threw the pizza at the figure and, feeling the blood rushing back into his body, ran as fast as he could back to his car, trying to ignore the wet feeling in between his legs. Whoever lived there had a tab anyways and it was always paid at the end of the month.

Back at the house, Slendy held back a laugh as she watched the guy run. Shutting the door behind her, she put the knife down on the side table, left the pizza boxes in the living room, and went to the washroom to wash off the ketchup.

Questions/Suggestions

Do Royalty have flames? What are there flames?

I'm still deciding on whether or not they might, as it will change a lot about the story. But I have most of the story planned out so you guys will find out at some point.

Maybe Kuroko no Basket?

So this review was pretty long, but this suggestion was kind of cool. I loved Kuroko no Basket and it would be cool to write a fanfiction involving them. Maybe I will write one, but probably when this one is like half way through.
