As we busted in the air around us was sizzling as if the entire house was on fire.

"Do you see a fire, I don't see anything?" Sam coughed, covering his face.

I looked around trying to see what was around me. The air was making my eyes water and burn. I blinked a couple of times as a peal of ominous laughter surrounded us.

"Look what we have here, a hunter and his huntress." A tall blond woman was standing in front of us, eyes glowing a soft yellow.

I looked over at Sam who seemed just as confused as I was. The children started filing in around us, still in a trance. I slowly reached behind me, trying to grab the gun I had hidden in the waist of my jeans.

"Ah, ah, ah I don't think so my dear, I'll hold onto that," the blonde said, snapping her fingers. My gun starting flying towards her, and she caught it midair.

Great a witch, I hated witches. She walked over to Sam, lust filling her now glowless eyes. She ran her fingers down the side of his face as he flinched away.

"What a faithful little hunter," she snickered, glancing at me.

She must think Sam and I are a couple. I was starting to get pissed, every time I tried to move, it was like I'd hit a brick wall. I could tell Sam was meeting with the same, the frustration was evident on his face. Suddenly, the door slammed shut behind us, as the last child entered the house. The witch smiled serenely. I could feel myself start to lose control as the anger welled up inside me.

"Let...us...go!" I said, holding my inner self back by inches.

I pushed at the invisible wall trying to get free.

"No, I don't think I will, you see you both interrupted a very important ritual I'm performing," she said. The children were now circling a strange symbol painted on the floor of the room beside us. "You see I have until midnight and you've wasted enough of my precious time."

She threw her arms out and Sam and I went flying across the room. I landed on my ankle and felt a painful snap. I held back the scream that tried to escape my lips. The witch was standing in the middle of the circle of children, whose heads were lifted to the sky, eyes closed. She was reciting a spell in Latin, I closed my eyes and stood up balancing my weight on my already healing ankle. It was painful but manageable. I tried to make my way towards Sam, who was lying unconscious to my right. When she flung us across the room, Sam had slammed his head into the brick fireplace.

"Sam... SAM can you hear me!" I yelled, standing a foot away from his unconscious form, unable to move closer.

He laid motionless, blood pooling beside his head. I took a breath and looked around trying to shake the throbbing pain in my ankle. Now that I allowed myself a moment to think, I noticed a dull pounding on the front door and muffled screams. Dean was trying to bust in, to no avail. I knew what I had to do, I had to let go, to allow her to come to the surface. It was our only hope.

I shut my eyes again and closed out everything else. Dean's hollering, the witches spell, Sam's slow and faint breathing, everything. I began to feel the power slowly rising within me. I felt myself fall into the darkness as she took control

Belladonna's POV

My eyes snapped open and light filled the dark room. My wings expanded, and I reveled in the feeling of finally being free, it wasn't often she let me out to play. The witch let out a squeal

"What are you?" she asked, trying to hold me back with her weak and pathetic powers.

"My name is Belladonna, and you picked the wrong hunter to mess with!" I sneered.

I raised my hand and with one swift motion, lit the witch on fire. Her screams pierced the room. I squeezed my hand shut and the fire, and what was left of the witch, vanished.

As the children began to wake from the witches hold, I snapped my finger and they all fell to the floor unconscious, but unharmed.

I could feel Anna inside me trying to claw her way back out. She was somewhere deep within, shrouded in darkness. I looked around the room and noticed the now dead hunter on the floor. I let a smile escape my lips. I did not revel in his death, but my soon to be freedom. I knew Anna would do whatever it took to save him. She won't be able to hide me for much longer. I let out a disgruntled sigh, and let her win as the door flew open allowing the hunter access.

Anna's POV

I'd just regained consciousness when I saw Dean rush over to his brother's lifeless body.

"Sam, Sammy wake up," Dean said slapping Sam on the side of his face.

I fell to my knees as I tried to make my way towards Sam. My ankle was still not completely healed and the pain had become too much. I slid myself beside him and laid my ear against his lips.

"He isn't breathing Dean," I whispered in fear.

At that moment I didn't care if Dean found out what I was, I was going to save Sam. I looked into Deans eyes and saw terror.

"Listen, Dean, I know you don't know me, but I'm going to need you to trust me," I said.

I looked down at Sam and slowly bent over him until we were face to face.

I locked eyes with Dean and tried to make my face serene and trustworthy. I looked back down at Sam and knew his life was worth saving. Even at the risk of my own. I placed my lips on his and felt my power being passed to him. His face began to glow and I felt myself get weak. I lifted my lips off of him as he gasped for air, I fell back on the floor and Sam took one last deep breath before he spoke.

"What happened Dean, what's going on?" Sam let out with another gasp.

Dean looked over at me with a blank face. "I don't know Sam, but that's what I'm gonna find out."

I knew by the tone of his voice that the trust I begged for hadn't been granted to me. I tried to stand but had given Sam to much of my strength. The last thing I saw before the darkness greeted me was the butt of Deans gun.
