And I love you all! - Alice O'Flynn

Saturday came sooner than Adrien or Marinette expected. And they were both aflutter with nerves. Adrien had planned to pick Marinette up at six, and she spent the entire day getting ready for him to come. She was video chatting with Alya most of the day, asking her what she thought about this outfit, or that. One hairstyle, or another. And Alya was there to calm her best friend's nervous breakdowns.

Adrien wasn't much better than Marinette. Except he had no one but Plagg to advise him, which wasn't much help. He finally settled on wearing a black suit, with a green tie. He combed through his hair at least a hundred times. He wanted everything to be perfect.

He arrived at the bakery at five thirty, with a bouquet of roses, and waited thirty agonizing minutes before Marinette came down the stairs. She was wearing a knee length red dress, which was covered in black tulle. One of her own designs. As well as a red fabric rose in her hair, which she wore up in a side bun. Adriens mouth dropped when he saw her.

"You are more beautiful every day, My Lady," He said with a smile, holding out his arm for her.

"Thank you, Kitty." She smiled back, trying not to show how she melted at his words.

The car drove them to a the hotel, where they were planning to eat. Adrien helped Marinette out of the car, and they walked in together. Each of them smiling when they overheard people say things along the line of "What a beautiful couple." They were all smiles and blushes when they finally got to their seat. Adrien ordered, hoping to impress Marinette with what he picked out for them. Though he didn't need to. She melted at his every word, and didn't need him to try and impress her at all. She was already over the moon with joy.

"You really are beautiful, My Lady," Adrien said, putting his hand over hers.

"Thank you," Marinette blushed. "I'm glad it was you, Chaton,"

"Your-Your not disappointed?"

"Of course not….. You're not disappointed that I was ladybug, are you?"

"No, No way. I'm really glad. How could I be disappointed? I love that it was you. I love you."

"You…. You love me?"

"Of course I do, My Lady." He said, but her face fell a little. "What's wrong?"

"You love ladybug, you don't love me." She said, frowning.

"Marinette, My Princess, I love you, all of you. Who you are." He said, but she didn't look convinced. "Remember when we fought Stone Heart, and you were afraid you weren't good enough to be Ladybug?"

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"Just hear me out. Do you remember it?"

"Yes,"

"That's when I first fell in love with you. When I saw how vulnerable you were, but even so, you were willing to fight, to protect others. That's you, whether you are Marinette, or Ladybug. There have been countless times that you have stood up for others to Chloe. It's that strength, that kindness, that beautiful heart that I fell in love with. You can't tell me that is just the mask. You can't tell me I don't love you. Because I do. Fully and completely. You, and you only." Adrien said with a serious tone. How long have I been keeping all this back. He thought, surprised at his own intensity. He had kept silent before, when he heard her bad mouthing herself. But when they didn't know each other's identity, his attempts to defend her from herself, she always told him that it was only because he didn't know who she truly was. He hated to hear how little self confidence she had. She never believed how strong she truly was. And now he was able to tell her.

"I-I love you too, Adrin, Chaton." She smiled back at him. "Fully and completely. You and you only."
