Pokémon – Ultimate Frontier Trainer
Alright guys, welcome to chapter 5 of Ultimate Frontier Trainer, as always, I am thankful for your support and feedback in this story along with my other story, it warms my heat.
OK guys, I have finally counted all the votes for the Potential members for the Harem, and boy, some were insanely close to each other, so they are in the Harem, some however, didn't get that much love, this is from the counting of PM'S AND Reviews that I got.
Ok guys, so due to popular demand, there will be a 16th girl in the Harem, this is because I have gotten so many PM's saying that the list it so hard to choose from.
Due to popular demand, Lisia will be kicked out. Mainly due to the reason people saw no reason for her to be in the Harem and some were sceptical on how to introduce her properly when Ash wasn't in Hoenn anymore.
They will go in descending order, so the first 8 females are in the Harem, the rest were unable, but I may use some of those pairings for a future Pokémon story if you guys want.
P.S - With the Protagonists that have made it in the Harem or in this fanfiction in general, they will have their manga characters personality and backstory, some are interesting and surprising.

I have placed Bianca in with Yellow and Rosa because it was a three way tie between them and I added Lusamine was because she was awfully close as well, much closer than the other options. I know it will be weird having an antagonist/mother in the Harem, but eh. Gives it more diversity and added Maturity.
I have placed May and Dawn together because they have taken majority of the votes and I wanted other characters to have a chance.

Question – What Pokémon story should I do next? Chapter 5
As Ash was with Kukui in their shared classroom. It was decided that because of Kukui's relationship with the students that he will be the supervisor of Ash, mainly because of his low teaching background, and plus Kukui said he will find it interesting how Ash teaches his students.
As Kukui was standing up in front of the desk, where he was facing away from the desks and looking towards Ash, who was sitting down on the teacher's desk, with a nervous expression on his face.
"Don't worry cousin, everything will be fine, they won't make fun of you. Just be yourself." Kukui reassured Ash for the third time in twenty minutes, it was as soon as Ash stepped foot in the classroom that he became nervous about teaching others around his age. He was having doubts about if they will listen to him or even like him at all.
"If you say so." Ash said as he took a couple of deep breaths, waiting for the class to arrive.
Knock
Knock
"Ah that must be them, I will bring them in and introduce what is happening." Kukui said as he gave a pat on the back to Ash and went towards the door to the classroom.
Ash turned around and saw that Kukui had just opened the door and was in the middle of the doorway.
"Alola!" Was the collective shout of many students from outside the classroom door.
"Alola everybody! Today things will be a little different for us, we have a special guest teaching you for a while. Come in, I will explain further then." Kukui said as he moved out of the door way and motioned for the students to come in.
Ash watched as students came into the classroom, some were not aware of him even being there, while some looked at him with confusion written on their faces.
As everyone placed themselves on their respective desks, which happened to be boys on one side and girls on the other side.
Kukui came in and walked to the teacher's desk where he motioned for Ash to stand beside him.
"Class, as you can see, we have a special guest from Kanto." Kukui said to the class as he motioned towards Ash.
"This young man right here will be teaching you all about battle and strategies." Kukui announced to the class of teens, some who looked happy and others... not so much.
"Why do we need another person to teach us about battling and strategies, we already have skills we need to win." One of the female students boasted out in arrogance.
Ash frowned a little when he heard that boastful comment, he looked to who made that comment and saw that it belonged to a girl who wears a red flower-like toque on top of her head. Her clothes consist of a loose light cream-colored t-shirt with light pink and gold flower patterns spread across it that is tied at the bottom and small teal shorts. On her feet, she wears red and black shoes with large yellow laces. She has her black hair neatly arranged with two pig tails flowing from her shoulders down.
"Selene! Not the time to comment like that, don't you know who that is?" Another voice rang out in a somewhat scolding tone with excitement in it.
"Hau! I don't care, he probably isn't that important." The girl now known as Selene voice her opinion out again and looked angrily over to Hau.
Hau is a dark-skinned boy, with dark green hair, which is tied into a short ponytail with an orange band. Hau wears a black shirt, yellow board shorts with orange and white flowers on them and orange shoes and backpack.
"Ugh, that is rude." Hau whined out comically, which everyone ignored him and one of his antics.
Kukui cleared his throat to get the class back in order.
"Now, I think your opinions of him will change once you know who you are talking to." Kukui said with a slight chuckle at the deadpanned looks he received, although Hau looked super cheerful. "Introduce yourself young man." Kukui said as he motioned for Ash to step in front.
"Alola everyone, I'm Ash Ketchum, maybe you have heard of me, maybe you haven't. Glad to meet you." Ash said as he introduced himself to the class.
He was suddenly met with Hau again, this time, directly in front of him with stars found in his eyes and looking at him with admiration and awe.
"Listen, I am a big fan, I watched you take on the Kalos Elite Four and even the Champion! You were so close, but I was rooting for you to win!" Hau said excitedly as he grabbed the arm of Ash and shook his hand rapidly.
"Alright. Thanks, I guess." Ash said, still not used to the attention of fans, he didn't even know that he had any until recently.
Hau let go of his hand and arm and seemingly pulled a poster out of the exact same type the clerk did at the information center.
"Can you please sign this?" Hau said and re-enforcing his statement with a Rockruff eye effect, making his eyes seem way bigger than they were.
"Alright. Do you have a marker?" Ash asked, hoping that this will settle the hyperactive teenage boy down that was clearly in a fanboy moment.
Hau pulled out a marker from somewhere and gave it to Ash.
Ash took the marker and signed his signature onto the poster and gave it back to Hau, who gladly took it and placed it in his small bag for safekeeping.
"As I said, I am here to teach you battle strategies, whether it be with offense and defense, or even incorporating moves to stand out, like they do in contests." Ash said as he looked towards Selene who had her eyes widen for a little bit, before they went back to their normal state.
"Any questions?" Ash said after he finished his brief introduction.
Ash saw multiple hands raise, some from the boys and some from the girls.
"Yes, Hau?" Ash said as he pointed towards Hau, who jumped up in excitement for being picked.
"Does this mean we get to battle you? To test where we are?" Hau said as he imagined himself fighting his idol.
"Maybe, depending on how strong and how well you work with your Pokémon." Ash answered before he looked over towards the female side where he noticed Selene had her hand up.
"Yes, Selene?" Ash asked as he looked towards her.
Selene stood up and looked rather interested in what Ash said earlier.
"Is it true that you can help us with contests?" Selene asked with a hopeful look on her face, because she really enjoyed contests and making her moves look pretty. Like a certain bluenette from Sinnoh.
"While I have only participated in a handful of contests, I do have friends that participate in them, I even have some of my Pokémon that have defensive moves to surprise my opponent." Ash answered to Selene as she did a small bow of respect.
"Any more questions?" Ash asked, looking around the room looking to see if any more hands have been raised.
"Yes, Lillie? Is it?" Ash asked as he looked towards Lillie, who seemed nervous but also had a determined look on her face.
"Yes, I am Lillie." She said to Ash. "Do I have to participate in this? Or can I just observe?" Lillie asked with a bit of a stutter and an embarrassed blush on her face.
Lillie is a young teenage girl with green eyes and platinum blonde hair with two braids. She wears a large white hat, with a blue ribbon around it. She wears a white dress with transparent blue outlines, a pair of long socks and white flat shoes.
Ash remembered when Kukui warned him about Lillie and how she hates touching Pokémon or afraid of them being near her.
"No, you don't have to participate. I know of your... quirk. We will try and get over that soon. OK?" Ash said as he looked towards Lillie with a determined expression when he said getting over the fear she has.
"Al-alright. I'll try." Lillie said before she sat back down and had her white hat cover her face.
"Thank you, Ash." Kukui said as he started to take control of the class again. "Alright class, this will be your first lesson of this subject, please be respectful to Ash, this is his first lesson in teaching." Kukui said as he looked towards the students with a critical eye, daring them to try something.
"Alright, now that is settled, let's lead the way to the battlefield for Ash here." Kukui said as he motioned for the class to follow him to the battlefield.
As the students got up from their desks and walked out the classroom with Ash soon following them. Although, Hau did stay behind and walked with Ash, hoping to have a conversation with him.
"So, Ash? What made you start your journey?" Hau said as he raised both of his hands and interlocked them behind his head in a carefree way.
"I wanted to be a Pokémon Master." Ash said, reliving one of his fondest dreams, that sadly, couldn't come to fruition.
"That is a pretty big dream, challenging." Hau said as he let loose a smile, he always did enjoy challenges.
"Indeed, however, after I lost to Diantha, I started second guessing myself." Ash said to Hau as he looked rather embarrassed, he normally didn't get upset that easy, but he never did once falter on his dream, until that day.
"Really!? From what I saw on the broadcast, you were determined, and your never give up line, its inspirational to most." Hau said as his smile dropped a little when he heard of his idol second guessing his dream.
"True, however, I attempted many times to win leagues, I only ever won the Orange Islands, but they aren't classified as a major tournament." Ash explained to Hau, as he was reminiscing about his win at the Orange Islands and still one of his best achievements to date.
"So? What are you doing here? From what Kukui explained to me, he asked for someone from the Battle Frontier." Hau said as he looked at Ash with his eyes narrowing at him playfully, almost solving him like a puzzle.
"Isn't it obvious, I became a Frontier Brain, although, no one except a few know that." Ash said cheekily as he looked at Hau, who looked like he had a Vanilish on his head.
"You mean, you became a Frontier Brain! What about your dream!?" Hau said, Ash was amazed that none of the students turned around to see what was happening from how loud he was being.
"Well, it is on the backburner for now. I am focusing on being the best Frontier Brain there has ever been." Ash said as he said his new dream to Hau, who seemed to gain stars in his eyes... again.
"Anyway, you might want to catch up to the class, we are here." Ash said as he motioned with his hands for Hau to look where he was pointing. It was true, they made their way to the battlefield at the front of the school.
Hau gave a smile towards Ash and gave a small bow. "Thank you for the conversation." He said before he ran off to join the others.
'Interesting kid. He has potential.' Ash thought to himself, he knew that from Hau's attitude that he could become a great trainer one day.

"Alright, before I begin this. Who wants to participate in this little tournament?" Ash said as he made his way to the middle of the battlefield and near Kukui.
Almost instantly, Hau's hand rocketed up and he had a megawatt grin on his face. Then slowly another hand popped up and that one belonged to a young, muscular, dark-skinned boy. He has orange and brown hair, in a style resembling fire. He wears red shorts with a black outline and sandals with the same color scheme. He wears no shirt, though he does have some black cloth strips on his shoulders bound to his necklace, which has a small badge and feather decorations.
"Hau and …" Ash trailed off when he realized he didn't know his name.
"Kiawe." Was the simple reply he got.
"Hau and Kiawe, step up. Anyone else?" Ash said as he watched Hau and Kiawe move to the battlefield.
"Yes, sir." A bubbly, feminine voice said as she moved to the battlefield.
"You are?" Ash said, wanting to get to know the girls name.
"Mallow sir, and this is my Bounsweet!" Mallow said as she gestured to her shoulder where a small Pokémon resembling a mangosteen rested. Most of its body is pinkish-purple with a short, white skirt around its waist. It has beady yellow eyes and two tiny legs. On top of its head is a green calyx. This structure consists of four leafy green formations and a short stem.
"Boun!" It cried happily as it did a little bounce on Mallow's shoulders.
Mallow is a girl with tanned skin, who adorns a pink flower in her green hair and has green eyes. She wears a pink sleeveless shirt with light teal overalls. She wears light teal denim shorts and green shoes with small dark green bows. She also has a golden clover-shaped badge on her waist.
"I guess I will." Another voice said, when Ash looked up, he was surprised to see that it was Selene who decided to join in, she did have a Poke Ball in her hands and ready to go.
"Alright then. It will be a 1v1 Pokémon battle, it will be Hau and Selene vs Kiawe and Mallow." Ash called out to the people who stepped forward.
"Sir, with all due respect, but why are we teaming up? Why don't we have a battle royale?" Selene asked with confusion, mainly because she has never participated in a double battle before.
"Well, I don't know the rules for a battle royale, and this prepares you in case you need to work with people you are not used to." Ash said as he clarified why he chose this battle.
Mallow, Hau and Kiawe nodded their heads and swapped to their respective partner, while Selene didn't look all that happy with teaming up with Hau of all people.
"Alright, spectators, please move away from the field. Kukui, can you please be the referee?" Ash said to Kukui as the other students moved away from the field, with Lillie being the furthest away and pulling a book out from her bag she carried around.
"Sure, it will be a pleasure." Kukui said as he walked towards the center of the field along the outside outlines.
Ash meanwhile, decided that he would stand with the other students in case they needed anything answered, and have a better angle to see how well they did under pressure.
"Alright, this is a one on one battle, with Hau and Selene vs Kiawe and Mallow. One Pokémon each, which ever duo loses their Pokémon first are the losers. Send out your Pokémon." Kukui said as he raised both hands up then down, signifying the beginning of a battle.
"Turtonator, let's go!" Kiawe said as he chucked his Poke Ball in the air and in a burst of light, and a small earth tremor later, when the dust cleared the Pokémon was revealed.
Turtonator is a bipedal, turtle-like Pokémon with a spiny shell. Its skin is a muted green color and only visible on its limbs, tail, head, and neck. On top of its head is an additional shell with many points around the brim. This extra shell has a black center, yellow in the middle, and a red outer rim. Its eyes have black markings around the bottom, and it has a tubular, yellow snout with a single, large nostril. Turtonator has a wide mouth, where the lower lip is marked with a jagged yellow line extending from its nose. On each side of Turtonator's long neck are two short, triangular projections. Its front legs have mitten-like hands, while its hind feet have claw-like red growths around them. Most of its tail is also covered by red plating, which has fin-like projections. The shell that encases its body has a red underside with a star-shaped, yellow-rimmed hole in the center. The back of the shell has a yellow center with several, brownish-black spikes. Four large spines with red bases form a star-shape in the center with four smaller spikes around them.
"Tur!" It growled out and unleashed a small ember from its snout.
"Come on out, Pikachu!" Hau said as he chucked his Poke Ball in the air and in a smaller burst of light, out came a yellow rodent that had pouches on its cheeks and a tail in shape of a lightning bolt.
"Chu!" It said cutely as it looked towards the towering Turtonator and soon backed away in fear of the massive Pokémon, it may be an evolution, but that Pokémon still towered over it.
"Let's go, Mareanie!" Selene called out her Pokémon as she chucked her ball up in the air and out came Mareanie. Mareanie is a starfish-like Pokémon with a purple stalk-like body and ten drooping tentacles that resembles hair. It has a blue and purple color scheme, as well as what appears to be a gloomy expression. It has three teeth and blue eyes with yellow sclera and pupils. Each tentacle has three spines, except the one above its face, which is shorter than the others and has only two.
"My turn, go Bounsweet!" Mallow called out for her partner Pokémon to join in on the battlefield, it simply floated down to the battlefield with a happy expression on its face as it looked at its comrades.
"Boun!" It called out happily and automatically released a sweet scent in the air, as shown by the pink mist it exuded, calming down the Pichu that was still terrified of the Turtonator.
With Ash
"So, Ash? What team do you think will win?" Lana asked quitely with her little Popplio in her hands, that was clapping like a seal. Popplio has large eyes, a long, white snout with black whiskers, and round, pink nose. There is a small, rounded earflap on each side of its head. Around its neck is a light blue ruff, which extends past its shoulders. It has four flippers. The front flippers are larger than the hind, and have white markings separating its toes.
"From my guess, I would say Kiawe and Mallow, from their strong bonds they have." Ash replied to the question given to him by Lana.
"So, Ash, what do you plan on doing in Alola?" Sophacles asked Ash with his eyes fixated on the battle, there was an electric type on field so he would be paying close attention.
"I am here on vacation, then I am heading back to Kanto." Ash said to the group that he was in.
"How is Kanto anyway?" Lillie asked, having never been to Kanto before.
"Well, it would say that it has its ups and downs. It's a lot cooler temperature wise but is less colourful and vibrant." Ash said as he paid attention to the battle once it started.
"Now, let's watch the battle unfold." Ash said to the group, as they nodded and paid attention, with Lillie either watching at random times or reading her book.
Battlefield
"Battle begin!" Kukui said as he walked back to where Ash was to watch the battle and reduce the risk of getting hit by a wayward move.
"Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt on Turtonator!" Hau called his command as he pointed towards the Turtonator. Pikachu charged up a large electric current in its cheeks that were sparking with lightning and fully released it, shooting a large electrical beam of lightning to Turtonator.
"Turtonator, dodge it by using your back!" Kiawe commanded his Pokémon as it turned around in time for its large shell to take the brunt of the attack.
"Mareanie. Get in close and use Poison Jab at that Bounsweet!" Selene commanded to her Pokemon, who launched forward with a tentacle extended that was coated in a purple bubbling mist.
"Bounsweet! Dodge and use Sweet Scent, distract them!" Mallow said in concern for her partner Pokémon, who looked concerned, then put a brave face on as it spun rapidly and used its momentum to get in the air and produce a pink mist from its body, which managed to halt the poison Pokemon's attack mid swing and make it sigh in relief as it inhaled the fruity scent in the air.
"Pikachu! Use your tail to blow it away!" Hau commanded his Pikachu as the mist was slowly makings it way to him.
"Turtonator! Use this opportunity to use Flamethrower!" Kiawe commanded out as he watched Pikachu to prepare to blow away the pink aroma in the air, thus leading for a great opportunity to attack and get some damage in.
Turtonator charged up some flames from its snout and blew ferocious red flames from its snout, connecting with Pikachu's small body and causing a small dust cloud to form.
"Pikachu!" Hau yelled in concern for his Pokémon, he just wasn't quick enough to get his command out, and he paid the price.
As the dust cloud cleared, it revealed a slightly burnt Pikachu on the ground with swirls in his eyes, signifying he fainted and no longer able to continue.
"Sorry Selene." Hau said as he faced his partner, who looked relatively annoyed at this. "Return Pikachu." Hau said sadly as a red beam connected with Pikachu's body and it was returned to the Poke Ball. Hau then turned to the sidelines where his friends and classmates were.
"Mareanie, use Poison Jab on that Bounsweet again!" Selene called out to her Pokemon as it nodded its head and launched in the air with its tentacle glowing in poisonous energy.
"Kiawe!" Mallow called out as she watched her Bounsweet was unable to do anything, with the strong current that was carried by Pikachu.
"On it! Turtonator, use your shell to block the attack!" Kiawe called out to his fire type, who gladly jumped in the air with an impressive leap and turned its back to Marenaie with its spikes glowing in power.
Selene seeing this quickly called out to her Pokemon. "Jump on the shell and avoid the spikes and let loose another Poison Jab with a free tentacle!"
Mareanie did its command and allowed itself onto the shell and narrowly avoiding the spikes on the shell and jumped on the head of the fire type and let loose a quick Poison Jab on the head which made it cry out in pain. Using the momentum it gained it launched in the air and jabbed the Bounsweet directly.
"Bounsweet! No!" Mallow cried out once she saw that Bounsweet was floating down in the air with swirls in its eyes.
Mallow pulled out a Poke Ball and returned the Bounsweet before it could contact the ground, and turned to Kiawe, who looked stunned by what just happened.
"Sorry Kiawe." Mallow said as she left the battlefield and returned to the sidelines where her friends and classmates were.
"Turtonator! Fight the poison and finish this move with Fire Blast!" Kiawe said, intending to win this match and for Turtonator to avenge its fallen comrade.
Turtonator shook off some of the damage it received on the head, which is its weak point and started gathering energy in its snout, with the primary source of power coming from its stomach.
"Marenaie! Spin to get out of there!" Selene said in concern as Mareanie was still up in the air form the momentum and the last attack.
"Now!" Kiawe said, before the Mareanie even had a chance to start its decent while it spun like a top.
Turtonator finally released the blast from its snout with the red-hot fire with some streaks of orange in it forming the kanji for 大, the flames quickly gained speed and hit Mareanie directly, causing it to spin wildly and suffering some minor burns from the blast.
Mareanie came down to the ground with a thud with a dust cloud forming around the body, as Kukui looked to the Turtonator, he found it panting heavily and that looked like the final attack before the poison kicked in, the Mareanie got a great hit on the weak point.
As Kukui looked to where Mareanie landed, he already saw that Selene was by its side, cradling it with some medicine to ease the burns, although it already had swirls in its eyes and barely conscious at this point.
"The match is over! Kiawe and Mallow win!" Kukui announced the winners of the match, he took a quick glance to Ash and saw that he was clapping for the contestants.
Kiawe returned Turtonator to the Poke Ball and went over to Selene, who just finished applying the medicine to her Pokémon.
"Hey, great battle. Sorry I took it overboard, I got lost in the moment." Kiawe said to Selene as he extended his hand down for a handshake.
Selene took the hand and returned Mareanie to its Poke Ball.
"Good match, I will win next time though." Selene said as she walked away to the center in the school to heal injured Pokemon.

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, it took me longer than expected to finish and write, making and writing Pokémon stories is harder than it looks, especially when it comes to battles. Dx
Note, while this may be in the Alola region for now, I am not exactly planning for Ash to defeat all of the Trail Captains.
This next chapter that I am planning will involve a time skip and the Alola region Arc won't last long, maybe another couple of chapters.
Please note that every single girl will be different personality wise and what they do will be different, some may be in the same field as the other, but not all girls will be the same. Some of these relationships won't even start till later in the story.
