Disclaimer: This is it. The final finale. It has been a wonder ride from start to finish, but like all train rides, this train has now come to a complete stop. Unlike most train wreak that cannot be salvageable, this fanfic is a joy to make, combining the two universe as one is anything but boring. I thank all of you who have given their review in short or lengthy words, or suggestive thoughts on the PMs or those angry pitchfork and torch mob who trolls and slender around. These were inspirational words, Thank you all.

Epilogue

Major Captain Browder blink for the first time in the last couple of days after he finish evaluate the video in front of him. He wasn't sure if the Admiral Chief was intentional or not when he mentions 'Spartan never die' phase since it has a tie-in with the coded phase of 'never give up the fight'. He rub his eyes before stretching outward, a mighty yawn is sound, followed by a rub on his chin. What time is it, he wondered? He turn to his right, studying the digital clock on the desk before him. With a groan, Browder rose from his seat and decides to clean himself up.

So much information just jammed into his brain, and now that Felix Parker is no longer alive, Major Captain Browder Elsewood is the highest ranking officer to lead the remnant of the United Earth Directorate Expedition Force. Is he ready for such responsibility? He wondered, pondering even, before he got back down to his study table. A quick few taps on his desk holographic screen brought up the computer generated artificial intelligence avatar up for her new task in hand, "EVA, do we have any major development?"

"No, Major Captain. There is no current event that is require for immediate respond." the female avatar reply sweetly.

"Right." Browder Elsewood respond, "Give me all current situation report for the last..." he pause as he gaze at the digital clock on the terminal, "...36 hours."

"Affirmative." the female avatar reply.

"Captain Major Klein has successfully extract and mine out the alien minerals from the affected area. He had come in terms with the other faction through political means, avoiding bloodshed among his and the other faction numbers."

"That's good to hear." the human Commander reply.

"Chief Engineer Muradin has taken liberty to aid in the repair of the Litany of Fury. The Behemoth-Class Battlecruiser will be operational in less than 4 hours. The Behemoth-Class Battlecruiser will be fully combat ready by 10."

"Huh, that was fast." Browder nods. If it was the Dylarian Shipyards combine technician and engineers, it would take a matter of days. Chief Engineer Muradin sure live up with his name.

However, not all report are positive, as the computer generated artificial intelligence avatar scowl as the next list of order is display in front of her, "However, the Turncoat Company has yet to respond to our missionary objective. They had yet to respond or receive any news, information or update as off 49 hours ago."

The bald commander rub his eyes in frustration. He sigh aloud, "I see. Pass this informationto our communication officers. And just for safety sake, keep the men on high alert on our planetary defenses. The last thing I need is those Turncoat actually is a turncoat and brought the Dominion at our doorstep."

"Comply," the computer generated artificial intelligence avatar nodded before she continue, "The MARV is still under repair since it's last report. Due to insufficient gears, we are unable to replace a few mechanical problem on its tread, inner gear and power coupling. The MARV is, however, still combat ready."

Browder nod intuitively, "That piece of hardware was our only trump card against the Dominion. Still..." Browder pause as he scroll the holographic screen of all major blueprint construction for the old GDI units, he smiles when he sees a few units that appear in front of him with the exact figures as the one on the video, namely the Titan and the Wolverine. There is also this unit called the Juggernaut, and judging by its weapon module and the shape of it, Browder couldn't be helped but to smile, "...we may make do without it. Continue with the repairs on the MARV, and have some of these blueprint ready to distribute to our engineering for reverse-engineering. Muradin will definitely love these new toys."

"Affirmative."

There was a moment of silent, "Is that all?" Major Captain Browder Elsewood asked.

"That is all, Commandeer."

"Huh," the Commander of the Spartan Company shrug, "I guess I shouldn't expect a list long of reports."

Major Captain Browder Elsewood was about to get up from his seat when the computer generated artificial intelligence avatar pinged; a new report came in, "Incoming transmission from; Captain Dawson."

"Ah, I was expecting that." he gesture, nodded, "patch him through."

The image of Ex-Dominion Captain Dawson appear just as Browder commanded, he looks worse than Browder is, "Good Morning... I'm here for my-"

"Jesus jumping Christ man, what happened to you?" was the first reaction Captain Browder exclaim.

"Ah, I was reading up regarding Earth sir, the Terran original homeworld," he pause with a weak smile, "The EVA unit gave me a good stack of information as I requested, and knowing that I'll be taking this task, I... sorta need said information on this assignment. Truthfully sir, I'm hooked."

"Oh, really?" Browder blink, "I know that Earth is sorta... boring to us but... Whatever float your boat, but tell me Captain Dawson," he pause as he creep his face closer to the screen, making a rather intimidating gaze at the camera, "Did you get a wink, at all?"

It was the most honest question, one that even Dawson wasn't quite ready yet, "No sir; I've been up for the last..." he pause as he look at the time, gazing at the lower right corner of his screen, "...30 or so hours."

The Spartan Company Commander laugh aloud, "Oh, that is just ridiculous." The man on the screen looked confused, so Browder continues, "Go out and get some food and a shower, then report back to me. You got 10 hours."

Dawson still looked confused. The bald commander blame whoever that trained Captain Dawson during his time on as a Dominion officer to be so strict. "W...was that an order?" he asked.

Browder smiles, "That's an order."

Captain Dawson smile nervously, "...Yes sir."

With a press of the button, the communication from both man a severed, leaving the Major Captain staring at the blank screen again with multitude of programs running at the background. The list of soldiers, scientist, engineers, technicians, even civilian refugees are on the list. He shot a gaze at the old insignia flag of the defunct Iron Patriot that is mounted on the wall, a grim remind to Browder that he has a task to accomplished, and that his deceased superior officer, Lieutenant Captain Carter Birch will never let him off if he screw this up. In fact, he could still hear his commanding officer telling him not to 'Expect the unexpected, and be overly prepared on the coming storm'. He let out a small huff; Lieutenant Captain Carter Birch taught him too well, "EVA?"

"Yes sir?" the AI avatar reply.

"That footage." Major Captain Browder Elsewood point out, "Make three copies of it. Destroy the original."

"Yes sir."

"One copy are to be intact, and have it integrate to my folder under level five security clearance. The second one are to be delivered to Captain Dawson. I want the second footage to be focus on Felix Parker and his party member, all the way to the end. Heavy encryption. The third one are to be focus on the battle between the UED and the new alien enemy, the Scrin for the men to see, understand and know what are dealing with."

"Affirmative, Major Captain Browder."

Maybe this time the Old Government will acknowledged the danger we are facing, and the need of reinforcement from Earth, thought Browder.

10 Hours Later...

Major Captain Browder Elsewood stood near the makeshift Starport, gazing at the floating Behemoth-Class Battlecruiser, the Litany of Fury, fully repaired and battle ready. The mighty capital ship lazily hovers on top of the Spartan Company base of operations, awaiting for for the man who will take in charge of it.

Captain Dawson emerge from the bowels of the base, wearing his standard UED officer uniform and carries a bag of suitcase with him. His sidearm dangling lazily at his side.

"Right on time," Major Captain Browder muses, as he make a quick glance at the approaching Captain before gazing back to the mighty capital ship. "The Litany of Fury is ready for you, Captain Dawson. She's an old girl with tons of burden carried on her shoulder; be gentle with her, and she'll sail through the rough sea of space like walking down a park."

The unprepared Captain is left dumbfounded, "I'm sorry, what?"

Browder chuckle, "I guess your one of those commanding officers who didn't care less what happen to the ship, eh Dawson?"

"Oh, well..." the captain remain still, nervous, "...there is that one time where I overload the system directory of the Adjutant to a point where the spec officers had to repair it for weeks."

Browder smile, he place a heavy hand onto Dawson's shoulder, "Take good care of her," referring to the mighty ship above them, "and she'll take care of you. The on-board EVA unit will make sure of that."

The good captain drew his attention to the UED capital ship. A sigh escape from his lips, "What will happen after we reach to Earth?"

"All missionary objective are included in the EVA unit. She'll overwrite your existing EVA system with her own, but do not be fret, it merely update your existing system, that's all." the bald Major Captain assures. Browder then stop and search his pocket for something, which fish out a small electronical device in hand, "This is a very vital information, heavily decrypted; I'm talking about level-10 security barrier, and only the EVA on-board the Litany of Fury can crack it open. It is important that you read, understand and deliver it to the Old Government. And whatever you do, for the love of god do not share this piece of information to anyone as soon as you make landfall on Earth. This is an eyes only information."

Dawson nod intuitively, "I understood, sir."

As soon as he agrees, a mighty gust of air is blown against Browder Elsewood's back, kicking up dirt and sand. The Medivac, and newest addition to the UED Spartan Company to replace the aging Dropship, touchdown just a few short meters away. Dawson and Browder turn to see the transport ship gently land as the one passenger open the hatch and invite the new Commander of this mighty ship a warm welcome, "Captain Dawson? We're ready for dust off at your command. Let's hope in and jump right to it," the female soldier, at her late 30, red-haired at shoulder length with glossy lips, wearing an odd armoured uniform with equally odd weapon in hand gesture him in. Dawson blink; what kind of armour is that? It's slimmer than the CMC Marine power armour, but heavily armoured for a Ghost. And is that a jetpack strap on her back? A Reaper? No, that jetpack looks like several century old tech. Captain Dawson just couldn't comprehend what he is seeing.

She is darn beautiful though, Dawson admits.

"Ah, Tanya. Good timing." Browder smiles, "Captain Dawson, this is Lieutenant Tanya Adams, Earth-born. She'll be escorting you to your bridge at the moment notice. Be friendly with her now; she may not look like it, but she has an impressive kill count to rival Felix Parker in term of combat effectioncy."

"Not to mention 1001 ways to snap your bones with." Tanya Adams add, all with a sweet cute smile. Captain Dawson mind immediately cried to him 'beware of the cute ones'.

"Yes, it's... It is good to work with you, Lieutenant."

"Please, drop the formalities," she giggles, childishly. Why is it I feel my spine just shiver in fear when I hear her giggle, thought Captain Dawson, "Call me Tanya, all of my friends do."

"Yes... Well, I... Oh, this is going to get use to." Dawson awkwardly reply.

"Well, in any case," Lieutenant Tanya Adams reply, "Let's get this show on the road!"

6 hours later, on-board the Litany of Fury, several light years away from Koprulu Sector, Quarantine room...

"So, how is she?" a voice, male, gruff, asked.

"Well, she's awake, had her food and water..." the second voice reply, female, "...But her eyes... It look so empty."

"Yeah, tell me about me." a third voice, male, collective, "Ever since the extract team pull her up, she's just... You know, staring at that wall, like those TEEP on high on those stimpack."

"Not to mention that..." the second voice stop, sighing, "I respected her, you know? Being a researcher was scary enough, what with the Protoss and the Zerg, but... She... She's the bravest woman I know, packing heat and all, all for that one guy."

"Hey now, it's not just 'one guy', okay?" the first voice calls out, his voice is raised, defensive, "Felix Parker gave her a choice, but she wanted to follow. I respect the man. And that woman. Shit already hit the fan and yet she openly volunteer to jump the wagon? Sign me up if some awesome leader points in and says 'I need you to save the world with me, fight by my side'." the man sigh, "Unlike that crook Mengsk..."

"S-sorry if I offended you." The second voice calls out. "but... Was he...?"

"Men's a legend." the first voice proclaim, "You should have seen him on Aiur. Goes into the infested forest with only a hundred strong, Marines, no Siege Tank, into a Zerg Hive. Practically mop the entire floor with the troops he lead, moss, weeds and all."

"...you were there, weren't you?" the second male asked.

"Yup, but not in his squadron; I was with Akira before... You know... He goes turncoat."

"Well, we should leave now." the first voice said, "Otherwise, Dr Mullen is going to yell at us again."

There was a long silent afterwards, only the hum of the machine and the beautiful dazzling lights from warp space travel shower in the room. The silhouette female figure slowly turn its attention to the computer screen monitor, her fingers touch the keypad in curiosity, as if it looks alien to her.

"Key. Board. Keyboard." she mumble.

It took a while to register this strange object in front of her. Foreign but familiar. At first her finger will tap the key one at the time, then a few keys. Before she knows it, she had ready rapid-fire the keyboard with any words imaginable.

The screen in front of her comply to her needs, but the things she write is strange, eerie even; she first type in 'alien', then 'technology', then 'archeologists'.

Then 'Xenomorph'.

Then 'Xenotologist'.

Then 'Protoss'.

Then 'Zerg'.

And the computer screen obey her demand, feeding her every detail and description on her demand in a whim. She type more and more words, her eyes glued to the screen, burning the monitor screen as each information is fed to her needs.

Then 'Earth'.

She stop. Staring at the 3D model of the current state of the Terran homeworld of Earth. It is blue, green, orange, red and brown, with a few large moving grey plate. Her slowly rotate the globe with the cursor, looking, adoring at the planet with a long, desire eyes of her.

She stop rotating the 3D model of the planet directly at Spain.

Her fingers type in two words in the search directory.

'Threshold Tower'

An image of the alien tower is presented before her, it's majestic purple with neon lights at the tip of each scale is eerily beautiful. Her lips tremble, her eyes wink wildly, she could not breath as normally as she did several minutes or so.

Her head. Her head feels so heavy. The voice! The voice! The voice!

"Well done, Alise Carmen. You have prove useful after all." the voice, deep, menacing and disoriented voice congratulate her, "Now, find a way to enter the facility. I have faith in you. Serve your master well."

"...I will..." Dr Alise Carmen mumble, smiling nervously at the computer screen. She shut the computer screen off, and let her empty gaze bore through the wall beside her. Her nervous smile creep up to a deep psychotic slasher smile, gleefully at the notion she is serving a higher power, "... For the Locust Swarm..."
