I OPTIMUS PRIME NOW RECORD THESE DISTURBING EVENTS CONCERNING THE COLOSASL HORROR KNOWN TO ALL MECHS…..TIDALWAVE

Back at the Autobot base the sirens were ringing and the Autobot were preparing for battle with the legendary foe, Devastation. They'd all heard the stories of the conqueror of the North-East Nebula and his destructive reign of terror on Cybertron.

Even Ratchet, a mech older than Prime was more than scared to fight the much feared harbinger of the harbinger of evil.

Word had spread fast after the events of Afghanistan and how the base didn't stand a chance against the much feared ex general. Sunstreaker and the twins were already at the Russian base inspecting the WWII sub covered in cybertronian text. What they had no idea was they were actually examining the deadly mech destroyer known to and feared by all Autobots… Tidalwave. Now they had to defend against the one of the greatest foes of all time.

"No Sam stay away from this one I'm sure Epps, Lennox and the Autobots can handle this without you and young Alex to go!" Mikaela pleaded with Sam. She'd heard the rumours from the other bots about the cruel and evil antics of Devastation. Mikaela also learned that he liked to torture and experiment on those unfortunate enough to be captured by him.

Hot Shot was also pleading with someone, "Alex I know you wanna help and all but please just sit this one out." The young scout was worried that even though Alex's father had forbidden Alex to go that Alex would sneak along. "Hey don't worry I've heard all about Mr Devastation and his evil Decepticons. So yeah I'm sitting this one out." Alex replied without hesitation.

"Good" came the response from the young black and yellow stripped Autobot and he transformed in to vehicle mode and joined the others in front of the cyber gate.

A cyber gate ran on truckloads of energon and was designed by the first primes. It can teleport anything around the planet it is situated on and even into the close outer space around the plant. E.g. Earth to the moon. Sam refused to listen to Mikaela and had too joined the special ops teams with Bumblebee and Prime and the other Autobots. However what no one had noticed was that Alex had snuck on board one of the army jeeps.

Prime yelled his signature order of movement, "AUTOBOTS ROLL OUT!" and they drove through the portal which was heading them straight into St Petersburg. Ratchet was the last one through as he was the one who worked the cyber gate and had only a short window to get through before it closed.

Everyone had brought thermal suits and the Autobots had turned up their core temperatures, because they expected the icy air of Russia in the winter. However as soon as they arrived they were met with the horror of the research facility in flames. The inferno was so hot, that the men at the front swore they were sweating. "Bye the Allspark… they're... they're… they're all dead!" Screamed the Autobot medic in horror, who was known for his outwards dismiss of emotion. This sent a shockwave of fear throughout the ranks as they carefully drove and walked around and under the twisted heaps of scrap metal and the burning bodies Russian soldiers.

After finding the entrance the ops teams exited their vehicles to continue on foot and the Autobots transformed into battle mode and took the lead. While they knew the layout of the facility was completed and the Decepticons could be hiding anywhere; Optimus knew that hiding wasn't Devastations style and all he had to do was follow the path of destruction to the WWII sub.

As they inched closer to the dangerous battle ahead Alex who had been sneakily following the group had been seen and brought to Prime. "Alex you know your father didn't want you hear and you still came against his, mine and even Hot Shot's wishes" Optimus prime was very disappointed that Alex had disobeyed such simple orders but couldn't find the spark in him to be angry with them human child.

Alex felt quite guilty now and responded, "It won't happen again sir and I'm very sorry for any trouble I may have caused" Alex waked away before Optimus could reply, feeling ashamed with himself. Optimus sighed and turned to carry on after the scouts when bumblebee and Hot Shot came back dragging the seemingly lifeless corpse of Sunstreaker. "NO" Prime whispered rather loudly.

Sunstreaker spoke, his voice sounding battered and bruised, "He's here Prime, that bastard clancker is here."

"Rest old friend. Rest" Optimus turned to Ratchet with begging gaze and asked, "Can you do something for him" Ratchet shook his head gravely and turned away.

Then Sunstreaker grabbed Prime's hand and wheezed out, "TIDALWAVE" before the light in his eyes faded and his spark fizzed out. Ratchet gasped, "Did he just say"

"Yes old friend I believe I now know why Devastation took all that energon."

"But how I thought that retched monster destroyed on Cybertron!" exclaimed the old war veteran in horror and fear.

"It seems that past horrors have come back seek their vengeance on our new home." Optimus sad sadly as he walked with Ratchet and the others down into the loading bay which still held the old sub.

"Over my DEAD BODY and where are those blasted TWINS."

Suddenly the lights all turned on and the menacing figure of Devastation stood on the other side of the loading bay. All the Autobots aimed their weapons at the ex-general. Devastation smiled and spoke, his words laced with evil intent, "That can be arranged old friend."

"You are NO friend of MINE!" shouted Ratchet in utter fury.

Devastation rolled his ruby red eyes dismissively and continued,"Oh and your runts are right behind me" He stepped aside to reveal a pile of twisted metal body parts with the heads of Mudflap and Skids on top.

Hot Shot was the first to pipe up, "Why you! You won't get away with this!" he shouted in horror and Spark break.

"YEAH" shouted Alex in agreement.

Devastation laughed evilly before shouting, "SILENCE INSECT. And I already have!"

Shadow who had been waiting for his queue pressed some buttons that started the process of pumping energon into Tidalwave. Soon the entire room shook as the submarine transformed. The ancient sub slowly stood up revealing the mechanised beast with in. Tidalwave was at least two and a half the times the size of Optimus Prime and had cannons mounted on his chest, shoulders, knees and arms. His blood red eyes focused in on its surroundings and then the metal giant spoke. "Tidalwave lives once more! ALL HAIL MEGERTRON! What is your commands General Devastation?"

"Hello old friend! These fools have destroyed our leader and hidden the body so I'm sure Lord Megertron would reward you for beating the location out of them. HAHAHAHA"

The evil machine now turned its attention towards Prime and the Autobots and bellowed, "YOU SHALL PAY FOR THIS! PRIME WHERE IS LORD MEGERTRON!"

"Looks like your look has run out Prime. I am DEVASTATION CONQUEROR OF THE NORTH-NEBULA, DESTROYER OF WORLDS AND NOW SLAYER OF PRIMES, ALL HAIL MEGERTRON!
