A ray of sun shone into my face, making me open my eyes. It was morning already?.. How long was I sleeping for?
I yawned softly and snuggled closer to the source of warmth against my back. Hmm, it sure felt nice to be in bed like this, it was so warm…
Warm? Wait, why was it warm?.. It took me a few seconds to realize there was an arm dropped around my waist, and the thing against my back was someone's body. I could hear the other person breathing calmly as well.
I blinked away the sleepiness and the memories of what happened yesterday surfaced back up. Aomine… I… We did… We had sex…
This thought made me blush slightly. We had actually done it, huh? Well, what are we going to do now? Will Aomine still want to continue this? Or maybe he'll tell me to go away?..
Well, he'll answer me when he wakes up… Right then I heard my stomach growl. I didn't eat since yesterday… No, the day before yesterday. If right now was morning, that meant we both slept all day and night!
My thoughts were interrupted by a small groan coming from Aomine. His arm around my waist pulled me a bit closer and he buried his face into my neck. Was something wrong?
"Morning…" The bluenette mumbled out, a yawn coming after. Guess he wasn't a mornings' person, hm?
"Good morning, Aominecchi~" I decided not to mention yesterday for now. Aomine would do it anyway…
"What are you so happy about in the morning?.." Came Aomine's question. I couldn't help the escaped chuckle from my mouth. He seemed so grumpy.
"Nothing~ But I am hungry…" I said, feeling my stomach growl again. Gosh, it was embarrassing..
"So what, you want for me to cook for ya?" He sighed and slowly lifted his body up, looking at me. "Fine, I will.. Anything special you'd like?" The tanned male asked while not letting his gaze from me. Was there anything wrong with me? Why was he staring?
"N-No, anything's fine with me.." I muttered out, averting my eyes from him. He was really making me uncomfortable!
"If you say so.." Aomine yawned again, then stretched, the covers dropping down to his abdomen. Only then did I realize we were both still naked… And I didn't have any clothes.
"Aominechiii… Can you lend me some clothes?" I knew I was probably sounding whiny, but I needed clothes! I wanted to go home today… Or did I? I was living alone now, so maybe I would feel better with Aomine?
"Sure, sure. Pick anything from there." Aomine answered while pointing to a wardrobe. As I tried sitting up, I felt a slight jolt of pain going through my hips and I winced.
"I-I don't think I can…" I mumbled out, blushing brightly. "…My hips hurt…" While saying this I looked away, hearing Aomine chuckle before grabbing me into his hands.
"I don't mind carrying you around~" The tanned male teased, while I tried to cover myself up a bit. Was he trying to make me even more embarrassed?
With a huge smirk on his face, Aomine stood up and walked towards the wardrobe. It didn't seem he minded the fact we were both naked at all. When the doors were opened, I quickly picked some pants and a shirt, immediately slipping them on. Much better.
While I was putting on my shirt, Aomine slipped into his jeans and started walking out of the room. I trailed his bare upper body with my eyes, every single muscle. He definitely didn't stop working out since high school. It's already been five years since we graduated, hm?
A soft smile made its way to my face and I shook my head. Aomine didn't change one bit since then… No matter how much time would pass, he'd be the same guy he was five, even ten years ago.
I nuzzled a bit into his bare chest; the warmth was calming. My eyes closed soon and I felt the other male grabbing me better.
"Oi, Ryouta, don't sleep.." He groaned out and I opened my eyes with a soft mumble. My eyes met with his blue orbs, locking onto them for a few seconds. No matter what people said, Aomine was amazing…
He soon reached the kitchen and sat me down on a chair next to a table, while he himself went to make breakfast. I watched him cooking some eggs with slight curiosity. I've never even tasted his cooking before…
Soon a plate of absolutely delicious looking eggs was placed in front of me and I licked my lips. The smell reaching my nose was incredible!
"Tea or coffee?" The tanned male asked while walking to boil water.
"Tea please~" I said and grabbed a fork to have a taste of the eggs. Once the first bite was in my mouth, I basically purred out in pleasure. It's been so long since I've had decent breakfast..
I looked at Aomine who sat down across the table and passed me a cup of tea, leaving his cup of coffee for himself.
"So… Do you want for us to.. Continue this?" The bluenette asked carefully, then sipped a bit of his drink. I blinked a few times and looked away for a bit.
"Uhh, yeah, I guess so…" Well, this was awkward. I immediately continued eating, my cheeks slightly red. You're not supposed to just ask these kind of things!
A soft chuckle reached my ears and I lifted my eyes up to the other male, his smile making me freeze for a moment.
"We really have to work on our communication, right?" He asked with a grin and continued on drinking his coffee. Maybe he did change a bit?
After the breakfast Aomine decided we should go to the police, just to tell about my… Attacker.
With this we walked out, I was lightly holding onto the tanned male… He offered to carry me there, but what if my fans saw me? I wouldn't know what to say! Besides, it was embarrassing…
After a while we reached the police station and went in, Aomine greeting some of his colleagues. Right, he was a policeman himself now… The image of him holding a gun popped into my mind and I shivered. I was definitely kind of worried about the criminals who'd get in his hands…
Both of us went straight to the chief and Aomine started explaining everything while I lightly gripped onto his hand… He didn't seem to mind that. Instead, he gave my hand a light squeeze, as if saying that it would be alright.
Soon the chief turned to me and asked to describe the man as detailed as I could. The feeling of Aomine's hand on mine gave me enough strength to start.
"He was pretty tall, slim, wore a dark coat… He had sharp features, black, short hair and… Uhh… Kind of, yellowish-green eyes? They seemed like one's of some predator… He also had this pointy nose and his beard wasn't shaved fully.." I muttered out, shaking my head a bit. The image was standing in my head right now…
The chief just nodded and gave me a reassuring smile.
"We'll do whatever it takes to catch him… Daiki here will also help." I nodded at these words and we both started walking out of the building, our hands still connected. I didn't want to let go just yet..
"Hey, you wanna go get ice cream or something?" Aomine asked and glanced at me, I just nodded and we kept on walking.
I looked around, little by little the heavy feeling on my heart was pushed away. With a smile I glanced over to my right and froze.
Dark coat, black hair, sharp features… It was him.
"A-A-Aominecchi…" I whispered out and gripped onto him tighter. "That's him…"
He immediately looked at the direction I was pointing at and scowled.
"Stay here." These were his only words before he left me and walked towards the male, grabbing him by his shoulder, turning him towards himself. Right then I realized something was off…
A strong hand pressed a piece of fabric up to my mouth. Moments after there was nothing but darkness… The last thing I saw was Aomine running towards me. The last sound I heard… Was a gunshot.
