Chapter 6: Advancement part 2
"You don't have to do this!" Christina says "I'll go… the world needs you more Rage."
"Christina!" Rage yells grabbing her arm
"Rage! Let me go!" She says "If someone doesn't then we both will die! Better you live then I… I don't deserve to live not after what I have done!"
"It wasn't your fault Christina!" Rage says "Please you don't have to do this either!"
"I'm sorry…" she says breaking free and running into the rift.
"Chrstina!" Rage yells popping out of his bead surprising his roommates
"Are you okay Rage?" Sora asks
"Huh?" Rage asks blinking and looking around "Oh… yeah..."
"Nightmare?" Riku asks
"Yeah…" Rage replies getting out of the bed.
"You're up just in time to watch this morning's match!" Sora says looking at the TV
"Really who is it?" Rage asks taking a seat
"Shulk and Diddy Kong." Riku says
"Who do you think will win?" Sora asks
"Sulk." Rage answers "His Mondo Arts give him an advantage over most of Diddy Kong's abilities"
"You're against Sonic by the way Rage." Riku says
"Did you say Sonic?" Rage asks and Riku nods Rage sighs "If I don't get a challenging opponent soon, wreck battle or actual I swear I am going to get bored all Sonic is good for is running."
"But what if he goes Super Sonic Rage?" Sora asks
"I nullify it." Rage responds "Sonic does not realize it but I am a Chaos Guardian I have complete mastery over the forces of Chaos he wouldn't be able to harm me with Chaos. The only one who I can't seem to use it on is Shadow but who knows why that is."
"Shulk is the winner!" Master Hand says from the TV
"Well I am heading over to the wreck room see if I can find someone to battle," Rage says standing up and leaving the room.
On the way he bumps into Kirby "Oh hay Kirby." He says on your way to your match against Yoshi?
"Hi." The pink puffball says before nodding
"Good luck." Rage says as he reaches the Wreck Room he notices there was a group of people filing in to the mock battle stadium watching something
"What's the crowed for?" Rage asks
"Some new guy showed up and told Marth off so their settling it." Ike says "Want to take a look?"
"This could be interesting." Rage says as the two push their way in and Rage looks at the fighter, it was a Lucina but she was a new fighter so no one knew who she really was and she was surrounded by a strange aura. She leaps for an attack at Marth who counters. This made her angry and she began to glow with the shadowy aura. Rage looks in shock at the aura "Wait a sec… that aura…" Ike looked the same
"Is it possible?" Pit asks as he watches Marth's face share the same look, around most of the regular fighters began to back up in fear. Suddenly Marth is hit back and flung out of the stadium.
"Anyone else?!" Lucina asks with a monster-like smile
"What do we do?!" Pit asks
"Who would actually be dumb enough to go in there?" Ike asks Rage then looks down on the battle ground.
"Someone grab Master Hand, I can hold her off." Rage says as he grabs on to the seats in front of him for leverage as he leaps over the rows and down on to the stadium. The crowed looks at each other and Sonic runs off

Rage summons his sword in midair then lands across from her. "I'll take you on." Rage says
"Who are you?" she asks
"My name is Rage the Hedgehog." Rage replies
"Prepare yourself." Lucina says running for Rage who quickly blocks her attack. Lucina is thrown back and staggered by the impact she made with Rage's defensive barrier and Rage then takes the chance to attack her with his sword. She hits the ground and Rage puts his sword down form the attacks
'Hurry up…' Rage thinks 'If Master Hand does not get here soon I will end up harming this fighter in order to keep the others safe."
[Master Hand's office]
Sonic runs into the office surprising the large hand. "Sonic what is going on?" he asks
"You need to come to the Wreck Room quick! Something is going on!" Sonic pants and Master Hand looks confused "We don't have time come on!" Sonic yells
Back on the Wreck Stadium Rage was on the defensive preventing Lucina from attacking him. Eventually Rage uses Chaos Control to warp behind her and run to the other end. Rage looks around before he sees Sonic and Master Hand. Master Hand looks at Lucina, "It can't be possible…" he says looking at the arua
"Rage!" Sonic yells "take her down!"
"You sure?!" Rage asks up blocking an attack
"Do it!" Master Hand yells
"Alright…" Rage sigs as he summons his Chaos Emeralds "Chaos Finsher: Final Blade Charge!" he yells as his sword glows brightly and he dashes into Lucina sending her flying off. Rage then dismisses his sword and looks at Master Hand as he floats into the arena center.
"Smashers it appears someone with the power to make Dark Smasher has invaded our world here." He says
"But who else would have the power to make them?" Pit asks
"I do not know but whomever it is they are to be handled with extreme caution. No doubt they will show their face eventually." Master Hand answers
"So what do we do?" Zelda asks
"For now nothing…" Master Hand replies "We can't do much with so much still left in the dark."
"Thank you for taking care of that Rage." Marth says
"Oh?" Rage says "Right no problem!" he says with a smile "But… that energy I know I have felt it before… it's more then we think not just a Dark Smasher I could feel something else in it…something darker."
"Rage are you saying you know something about this?" Master Hand asks
Rage shakes his head "I can't say for sure… but that energy no doubt feels familiar but…I can't tell you what or who it came from." He answers
"Alright well everyone keep a keen eye out and if you see anything suspicious let me know." Master Hand says "Whoever is doing this needs to be caught before any real damage done.
"Rage!" Sora yells running up to him
"What?" the crimson hedgehog asks
"Your match with Sonic starts in 5." Sora responds
"Oh man thanks!" Rage says running off to the stage selector where Sonic awaited him.
"You sure you're up to this Rage?" Sonic asks "After all that back In the Wreck Room?" Sonic then pauses and looks Rage directly in the eye "Cause' I won't blame you for walking out on the fight."
Rage smirks at Sonics remarks "Sorry Sonic you know me I won't let down a challenge. Like it or not I won't drop out."
"Right how could I forget." The blue hedgehog chuckles as they both input their selection.
Sora turns his attention to the TV where Master Hand had appeared on the newscast "Hello Smash fans. Before we introduce out next battle I have some news to share. Due to certain happenings here in Smash Stadium our broadcasters, The GUN commander, Scorpion, and Ryu have departed leaving myself and Crazy Hand to the broadcasting. Now our next match up is between the popular second year fighter from Mobius Rage Chaotic the Hedgehog and his opponent a fifth year fighter also from Mobius nicknamed 'The Fastest Thing Alive' Sonic The Hedgehog!" Master Hand then shows the image of where the two were located "Their field of battle is a new stage added just this year, The Chaos Temple which was made possible by Rage allowing us access inside to map it out."
On stage Rage was standing with one arm on his hip. "Alright Sonic I am going to make it fair and I won't even use my sword."
"Alright Rage that's your choice!" Sonic chuckles
"I wouldn't get cocky Sonic." Rage warns "Wouldn't want to see you get beaten too bad on live TV now would we?" he chuckles
"Oh can it!" Sonic yells back as the horn blares. Sonic then instantly ran for Rage and attempted a running spindash but Rage leaps out of the way and Sonic then turns around to swing a punch that was grabbed by Rage who then throws the Blue hedgehog to the ground. Sonic takes off again but this time away from Rage
"Oh no!" Rage says running after him "You're not getting away!" this turned the fight into just a red blur chasing a blue blur.
"Catch me if you can!" Sonic yells back
"Oh trust me…" Rage says to himself as he surrounds himself in Inferno Chaos "Your going to wish you had never said that."
Sonic who was still running feels the heat "Man its' getting a little hot here…" he says before looking a the incoming fire streak "What in the world?" he asks before it bashes him sending him off of the wall he was on and back to the floor. Rage then stops and the fire slowly extinguishes.
"You're too slow Sonic." Rage taunts with a chuckle
"Ouch… he just burned Sonic physically and verbally." Pit says who was watching the fight with Sora, Riku, Ness, Fox, Ike, Marth, Mario and Falco.
"Yeah I remember that used to be Sonic's big thing was running in place saying 'you're too slow' and he'd do it over and over too." Fox replies
"Yeah but that was just wrong." Falco comments
"You have to admit it was kinda funny though." Ness smiles
"Yeah, that was pretty funny." Riku chuckles
"Look Sonic is getting up." Sora says as the turn their attention back to the fight
Sonic looks at Rage as the Chaos Emeralds appear around Sonic. "Don't make me." Sonic says
"You won't mate." Rage challenges "You're bluffing."
"Am I?" Sonic asks as they begin to spin
"Rage don't just stand there!" Fox yells at the TV "If he goes Super he will beat you no sweat!"
"Hmph…" Rage smirks
"Is he laughing at this?" Falco asks "What is he stupid!"
"I never thought you were that foolish Sonic." Rage says with a laugh as the blue hedgehog's eyes narrow in anger as he turns golden
"Now I'll show you!" he yells charging at Rage who just puts his hand out.
"I can't watch!" Pit says covering his eyes "Oh but it's too exciting!" he says again looking at the TV.
Sonic hits Rage's arm and is stopped making everyone look in shock at the scene even Sonic's eyes were small with the shock. Rage had stopped him with no effort! Sonic then is turned back into his normal form,
"What the hell just happened?" Ike asks
"Did Sonic just lose his Super Form?" Mario asks surprised "How did that happen?"
Rage then smirks "How many times do I have to tell you Sonic the Hedgehog." Rage smiles "I am the master of Chaos."
"Is that so?" Sonic asks leaping back "Then try this!" he yells launching a Chaos Spear which is absorbed by Rage, Sonic then continues firing them.
"It's no use Sonic." Rage says the smile still on his face as the Chaos Emeralds Sonic had somehow obtained fly back to Rage "I will say I am surprised you got them from me. But you happened to overlook the fact that I am a Chaos Guardian I have control over Chaos itself!" he chuckles as he then uses the Emeralds himself to charge an attack of his own "dodge this." He says "Chaos Finisher! Void Strike!" he calls as he fires a purple beam at Sonic who quickly avoids it.
"Ha!" Sonic chuckles "Missed me!" he the looks at Rage who still had a smirk on his face "What's with the face?" he asks "What's so funny?!" Rage then points up and slowly Sonic looks put to see a portal with the purple beam coning from it on the ceiling "Oh man…." He sighs as the beam hits him hard knocking him clean out.
"the winner is Rage!" Master Hand says
Rage then summons his sword in a victory pose "I told you Sonic I am the true master of Chaos!" he says as the two are teleported back to the Arena select where they walk out and Sonic shakes Rage's hand
"Well done." The blue hedgehog says
"You weren't half bad yourself Sonic." Rage responds

Alright so there is Chapter 6. And I have some things to add, first off I would love some OC's for this if anyone is interested but please NO GUEST OCS only through PM. Second for those who may have read my HCC series I will tell you this it is not over I am just stepping away for sometime the agenda right now is this story, Rage's Five Nights and Pinkies (An MLP FNAF fic for your MLP FNAF and FNAP fans you might like to check it out), Chaos Origins: The Past of Rage the Hedgehog and Sonic Youth: Uprising. Come closer to Halloween or summer time I will work on my old Dead Mobius: Zombie Apocalypse. AS for he updates expect this to be the biggest with either Sonic Youth or Chaos Origins next. Also for those who followed my HCC series I will be continuing work on it early to mid 2016 and I plan to make it better then the first series so it might become just a rewrite of them but you'll have to wait and see that is if everything goes according to plan so until next time keep living life to the fullest but be sure to slow down here and there this is sonicfan0987 signing off!
