A/N: Aaand I'm writing another chapter for this already. Gotta grab the cup when the creative juices are flowing! I might post this tonight, I might post it tomorrow. Heck, I don't know. These author's notes are gonna end up being longer than the actual chapter, so I need to stop typing.
Beads! Chapter 6
"I could look at my rainbow and feel better."
All three adults in the shop turned and blinked.
Kagome smiled gently, slowly speaking to Kyou, who seemed to feel a little odd himself after saying such a thing. "Well, alrighty then. Do you need glass beads, or plastic beads?"
Kyou looked at his little bracelet, observing it. "What's the difference?"
Kagome giggled softly. "If you use glass beads, you'll be able to see through to the cord holding the bracelet together. They might be a bit prettier, but they can break a lot easier. If you use solid colored plastic beads, you won't be able to see the cord, but you won't have to be as careful with it. It all depends on what you want though."
Kyou thought, still looking at the bracelet. It was made up of both glass and plastic beads, with the beads starting small and getting bigger toward the middle, with yellow and green beads being the largest and made of glass. Kyou turned to look at Kagome and Sango, who were looking at him expectantly. "Can you remake it like this…?"
He asked softly. Sango nodded, taking over for a moment. "Of course we can, sweetheart! May I borrow the bracelet for a second?" Kyou nodded, and handed it to her. She looked it over, then turned to Sesshomaru. "Hey. Can you go get the glass beads out for me?" Sesshomaru looked at her incredulously, then rolled his eyes and went to go get them. Sango huffed, then grinned and leaned down to Kyou. "He acts all high and mighty, but he's just like a kid."
Sesshomaru called back, "What did you just say about me?"
