Hey guys I'm back. Still working on regular updates but I sorta have a separate life away from FF (Not really tho because I'm a lonely teen with way too many books and not enough time.)

Question for my fellow authors. Do any of you just go and read your old stories? If so do you also reread the reviews? I did that and man. I realize now that what I wrote is nothing like what I planned to write. I honestly don't remember writing a lot of the stuff, though that may be because I have a habit of writing right (heh write right) before I go to sleep. Anyway it'd be cool to know if others do this. I also do it to see how I've improved and to see what I can improve.

No One POV

"What are we gonna do with them? They'll wake up soon and then it'll be another big fight." Trina says looking over the two intruding hybrids unconscious in her kitchen.

"They won't wake up for another 4 hours and they won't be going anywhere with these ropes around them." Jade says looking at ropes and knots that Robbie tied. Boy scouts seems to have come in handy (even though he's Jewish).

"Jade are you sure you're okay? I can take you to the hospital for that." Tori says almost in tears at Jade's nub. It's slowly growing back but it's still bleeding. Jade walks over to Tori and holds out her nub that is covered in a towel to hold off the bleeding.

"Tori, I'm fine. I told you I lost a foot on the way off base. It will grow back, it should be done about the same time they wake up. I'm okay." Jade says reassuringly. Tori grabs Jade in a tight hug, squeezing her until she feels okay to let go.

"Hey guys, what is this stuff coming from his hands and his fangs." Robbie asks as he touches the gel like substance rolling slowly down Beck's chin. Almost immediately after he comes in contact with the substance he passes out where he stands.

"Oh my god is he okay? What happened to him?" Trina asks looking at the nerdy boy on the floor in front of her.

"Beckett is partly snake and that is a venomous agent that comes out either as self-defense or to hunt. I believe when he tried to bite me he wanted to get me with that. I'm actually surprised that he didn't use it when he scratched me. He must have wanted a fight." Jade says as she picks Robbie up and places him on the couch, careful to not let the hand he touched the sedative with touch her.

"So he'll be okay then?" Tori asks coming up beside her.

"Yes, he should be up when my hand is done and they are up. He will also be paralyzed for a bit after he wakes." Jade replies with a gentle smile towards Tori causing Tori to smile back at her.

"If you two don't hurry up and fuck each other then I'll cut your clothes off and lock you in a small room with only a bed until you do." Trina says watching the two from the kitchen. Jade's tail and her scales show up immediately as she looks over to Trina with her piercing cat eyes.

"I would strongly advise you not to even say that around me because that room you described sounded a lot like the chambers they kept us in." Jade growls slowly advancing on her.

"Jade, she was joking. We wouldn't do that to you, I swear. She didn't know." Tori says quickly grabbing Jades arm. Jade is still advancing on her but stops when she hears a scream from behind her. She turns around to see Tori on the ground, eyes wide, looking at her hand. She looks down at it and sees the fingers slowly growing in a gross display of the growth process.

"Hey, it's okay. It doesn't hurt at all." Jade says picking up the towel and wrapping it back around it. Trina comes over and ties something around the towel to help it stay on better. Jade looks back at Tori after thanking Trina but Tori won't look her in the eyes. 'Why won't she look me in the eyes?' Jade thinks to herself.

"Hey, how about I make lunch and we can talk about what to do with those two." Trina suggests noticing the tension between her sister and the hybrid. Trina understands how sensitive and caring her younger sibling is and she knows it's killing her to see Jade without her extremity. Tori has really grown to care about Jade over the small amount of time they've spent together.

"Yeah, but I do-"

Knock, Knock, Knock

"Tor, open the door sweety. Andre told me there might be trouble here." They hear a male voice from the other side of the front door. Jade immediately goes into defense mode at the foreign voice.

"Jade it's my father, its okay." Tori says walking over to the door. "Daddy, are you alone?" She asks holding the lock on the door.

"No Gary is here too, are you in danger baby? Where is Trina? Open the door or I'll kick it in baby girl." He says calmly and soothingly as he takes his gun out and knocks twice on the spot that the lock is in so he will know where to kick.

"Daddy, we're okay. I'm going to open the door now so everyone stay calm and daddy I will explain everything." Tori says before opening the door to see her dad and his partner Gary with guns in hand. She moves to the side to let them in the house.

"Tor what the hell is going on here? Why are these people bloody, bruised and tied up? Who is this? Is Robbie okay? " David asks rapidly as he walks fully in and sees the two hybrids tied up along with the broken door and table. Tori goes to stand by Jade as Trina calls Gary and her father into the kitchen to stall while Tori discusses things with Jade.

"Jade, my father and his partner are going to want to know exactly what is going on here. I don't want to lie to him but I also don't want you to have to go back to that place. Can we explain everything to them and see if they will help you? We don't have to if you don't want to, we can say that they broke in and that you are a friend of ours." Tori says looking sincerely into Jade's eyes.

"We will tell them the truth but I will only tell a small amount of details. If you trust them then I will not have you lie to your father." Jade says looking towards the kitchen. They walk into the kitchen to find the trio sitting at the breakfast bar.

"Okay Victoria, Your sister has stalled long enough, I want answers and now." David says using his cop voice. Tori joins them in sitting while Jade stays back enough to hide her growing nub without being noticed.

"Okay dad but you have to promise to listen all the way to the end. No judgement or interruptions, okay?" Tori says. David and Gary look at each other before giving a nod for her to continue. From there Tori tells everything from the car ride with Andre to Robbie touching 'gunky hybrid sweat' as she calls it. She leaves out a few details that she knew were either unnecessary or Jade would want left out. By the end David and Gary are looking at each other with knowing looks.

"Do you guys not believe her?" Trina asks looking between the two quiet detectives.

"No, we believe you." Gary says while David looks over to Jade, who stands leaning against the counter with her arms crossed hiding her almost fully regrown hand.

"So you must be Jadelyn?" David asks as he walks over to her. Her eyes changing as the unfamiliar human advances. If you were really paying attention to her like Tori is you could see her tail come out.

"Yes." She says short and blunt.

"Well I am extremely grateful for you protecting my daughters. I am certain that you are not very fond of humans and I understand completely. It is a terrible thing they are doing down at 'Eiling Labs'." He says standing directly in front of her, his hand out stretched in a hand shake offering.

"You are welcome. They protected me also and for that I am grateful. You know of the Place I was made?" Jade ask curious as to how he knows the name when she didn't even tell Tori and the others in fear of them reporting her.

"Yes we do. You see, some twenty odd years ago I got an anonymous call from a woman reporting inhuman testing and research. At this time I had only been on the force for about 3 years. I was still a low rank officer. I told my chief and we looked into it. Turns out it was a government sponsored lab. The lab part focused more on merging DNA of different creatures and creating more advanced and user friendly droids but the general in charge of the corps that sponsored the labs wanted to use their research to create weapons. Once the head researcher found out he wanted nothing to do with it. We had to turn it over to Pennsylvania state police. I followed the investigation and it was supposed to be shut down and everyone involved tried in the federal court of law. I suppose that never happened." David says.

"So it was supposed to be closed but it didn't happen? Can you reopen the case and get it shut down for real now?" Tori asks her dad.

"Well there must be someone in high places helping the Lab if it was never closed to begin with." Gary says.

"We can do it now though right? I don't want Jade to have to go back to that place. No one should have to be treated like that. Please daddy try for me?" Tor begged with wide pleading eyes that she knew her father couldn't deny.

"We'll look into it sweety." Gary says for his partner. "For now, we need to figure out what we will do with those two. Obviously they are very loyal to those nut jobs back at the lab. I think I have just the place." Gary says with an odd smile.

Off to the side, Jade and Tori are talking quietly as Jade tells her she doesn't feel right about Gary. Tori somewhat agrees but she has some hope in her dads longtime partner and best friend.

"He and my father are our best bet right now so I say we trust him for now. I'll have my father deal with him if there is any funny business." Tori says before kissing Jade on the cheek and she stretches her fully grown hand.

Woe nelly it has been a while since I have updated a story. Sorry for the delay but I have been extremely busy. Tell me what you thought of this chapter. Do you think there is something fishy about Gary? How will they transport Cat and Beck while he is giving off paralyzing toxins? See you soon….. BYEEEEE
