Hi guys, so I decided to read all the short notes that I wrote whenever an idea just appeared in my head and came up with this chapter. I'm really sorry for not updating for a long time. I have been busy with school projects and exams. I'll try and find some times to update this fanfic. (T^T) OMG! To think that someone actually tears up reading my fanfic truly shocked me. "Oni-chan, Zero! What are you doing?" Yuuki asks them with tears streaming on her cheek. Her chocolate eyes looking at them widely. Both of her hand clutch tightly until it bleeds. "Zero! I can't believe you betrayed me like this! You know that I have always love Kaname in my whole life and yet you seduce him to fuck you. What a whore!" Yuuki spit. "You disgust me. I hate you Zero!" Zero was stunned to say any words. He looks at Yuuki sadly. He was confused with the situation. "Oni-chan, why are you doing this to me? Didn't you love me?" Yuuki asks Kaname and without waiting for his answer she ran out from the room. "Yuuki! Wait!" Kaname called her name. Kaname quickly gets out from the bed and picked up his cloths that scattered on the floor and get dressed. Without saying a word to Zero he rushes out chasing Yuuki. Zero looks at Kaname until he was gone.
"He didn't even glance back." He said. "Hahaha." Zero laugh sadly. Tears falling from his eyes. "What is this?" He asks himself wiping his cheek. "Tears?" Zero looks at his cloth that scattered all over the room then he looks at his naked body with sticky fluid all over his body. "Yuuki was right. I am a whore. I am just a substitute, a game and a hole for him to fuck." Zero hugged his knees. "How can I be so stupid? He must be laughing hard on his ass right now. I have nothing left. My pride is gone." Zero laugh as loud as he can with tears. Laugh turns into a sob. For the first time Kiryu Zero shade tears for a man name Kuran Kaname. Even when he was bitten and his family was killed he didn't shade any tears. Even when he was humiliated, cursed, looks down by others and betrayed by his brother he didn't shade any tears. Now he is shading tears for him.
"Yuuki! Wait!" Kaname continue calling Yuuki while chasing her. Yuuki keep on running into her room. When she was about to lock her room, Kaname gets in using his pureblood power. "Yuuki, listen to me." Kaname pull Yuuki's arm. Yuuki turns her face and look at Kaname with her puffy eyes full with tears. "How could you do this to me Kaname-nii?" She ask. Suddenly, Yuuki kiss Kaname's lips. Kaname was stunned by her action but he kiss her back. Kaname is the first one who release the kiss. Yuuki was look at him with her wide chocolate eyes. "I'm sorry Yuuki. I can't." He push Yuuki softly. "You can't what? Kiss me?" She ask. Kaname avert his eyes. "How could you Kaname- nii. Is it because of Zero?" Kaname bite his bottom lips. He didn't make any sound nor any movement to answer Yuuki's question. "I know that you and Zero likes each other." Yuuki clutch Kaname's arm tightly until it bleeds.
"But I beg you Kaname- nii, please stop liking him." Tears started falling from her eyes when she begs him. "Please love only me! I'm yours right? You said you loved me! You are my only family left! Think about all the memory that I have lost! You owe me for everything that happen to me!" Yuuki screams. Kaname clutch his hand. 'Yuuki is right. I owe her everything.' He close his eyes and Zero's sad face flash through his mind. 'What should I do?' "Please don't leave me Oni-chan! I love you!" He open his eyes and look at Yuuki's teary eyes. Kaname pull Yuuki into his arm. "I promise that I will never leave you Yuuki." Yuuki hugs Kaname tightly and said "Promise that you will have nothing to do with Zero as well." Kaname frown. "I promise that I will have nothing to do with him." Yuuki smile and pull Kaname into a long and wet kiss. "Say that you love me." She command between their kiss. Kaname hesitate. "I love you Yuuki."
Without them realize, someone was watching their action with bleeding heart. Zero covered his mouth and clutch his chest until his knuckles turns white. His eyes shows the sorrow from his heart and covered by tears. But he refuse to cry again. 'It's nothing to be sad about.' He convince himself. 'I know that there's no ending between us, there's never even a beginning.' Zero walks away. Kaname quickly releases Yuuki's body when he feels the presence of the silverette. His face turns grim as he realised that Zero had heard their conversation. 'Forgive me Zero.' Yuuki's face turns dark as she saw Kaname's sad face. Then she smiles behind him. She knows from the beginning that Zero was there. That's the reason she said all of those thing and force Kaname to say that he loves her and kiss her. 'Kaname is forever mine. Mine alone. Not even you, Zero can have him.' Her eyes turn dark red with rage.
Zero walk aimlessly and head to the stable to see Lily. "Lily, how are you?" Lily lowered her head and brush towards Zero's face as if it feels her master sadness. Zero pat Lily's head. "Good girl." Suddenly he feels someone was approaching them. Lily move violently and Zero tries to calm her down. "Easy girl." Lily then stop moving as the man approach them. "Zero, are you alright?" Zero look at him. "I am fine. What are you doing here anyway Hoshi?" Hoshi walks towards them and touch Zero's arm. "Are you really alright?" He ask again. Zero glare at Hoshi. "I am fine." He insist. "I know you are lying. I will wait until you are ready to tell me anything. What are friends for right?" Hoshi smile and pat Zero's shoulder then he walks away. "Oh! I forgot to tell you. Chairman Cross ask you to go to the Vampire Hunter Association tomorrow. It seems like the president wanted to see you." Zero nod. "Did he tell you why?" He ask. "No." Hoshi shake his head. "Ok. Tell Cross that I will go." Zero continue patting Lily without looking at Hoshi. "I will. Don't forget about what I just told you. I'm always here for you." Zero looks back at Hoshi and saw Hoshi's shocking face and he was blushing. "Uh, I got to go." Then he disappeared from Zero's view.
"What did I just tell him? I will always be there for him? Stupid brain! You just embarrassed yourself. Now Zero is going to have the wrong idea about you!" Hoshi knock his head. "I just hope that he will be more open to me. After all I care about him and I…" Dup! Dup! Hoshi can hear his heart beating so fast. "Stop beating so fast!" He order his heart. "Fuck! I sound stupid talking to my internal organ." Hoshi continue walking towards his dorm. "Stupid brother! He's totally falling for Zero-chan and he still not aware of it." May sigh as she is standing behind the tree near the stable, spying at both Zero and Hoshi. Then her eyes turns dark with rage when Zero's crying face flash through her mind. "Both of that motherfucker dare to hurt Zero-chan feeling. They are going to pay for this especially that fucking bitch!" May clutch her hand angrily. Suddenly she smile as her brain conduct a brilliant idea for both of the Kuran or specifically that particular bitch.
The next morning, Zero left the academy to the Vampire Hunter Association before the sun was up. He wanted to avoid Kaname. He wasn't ready to face him. As soon as he enter the building, every hunter are staring at him as usual. There is a few new faces who are staring at him with interest. 'I bet they wonder how I can still survive after all this years.' He walks towards the President room. Zero knock the door and open it after he heard the voice inside. He opens the door and look at the man who's smoking while scribbling something on the paper with a pile of documents beside him. The man looks up at him with only one eye while his other eye is covered by an eyepatch bearing proves that vampire are monsters.
"Yagari-Sensei." Zero greet him. "Hey kid, how's life?" Yagari look at him with cigarette lit up at the corner of his mouth. "Nothing interesting." "Is that so? Then why are you having those look?" Zero looks at him with a confuse face. "The look when you found out that Ichiru is the one who brings her back?" Yagari stared into Zero's eyes. Zero averted his eyes away. "I won't ask any further if you don't want to talk about it. You are old enough to figure out your own problem right." After a few moment of silence Yagari open his mouth. "I want you to meet someone. Follow me." Yagari stand up and walk towards the door with Zero tailing behind him. They walk until they reach a big battle field for hunter training. Zero look around. There is 10 young student around his age are training, fighting each other.
"Hey! Look that's the handsome guy at the hall before." The red hair girl whisper to her best friend beside her. "WHERE?!" She scream. Now everyone eyes are on them. The red hair girl smack her friend then both of them bow and apologize. "Attention to all! Please gather in front of me." Yagari gave an order. Every hunter stop training and assemble in front of Yagari. "I want to introduce you to Kiryu Zero. Please respect him even if he is younger than you. After all he will be leading all of you to mission or precisely guide you through the mission given to you as your leader." The young "Lead us? He's the same age as us." One of the hunters whisper to his friends. "Even though Zero is at your age he has done more mission as the senior hunter so he definitely has more experienced than any of you." Yagari explain and thus shut the voice among the young hunters. Yagari start to officially greet the hunters after all the old hunters gathered.
"First of all, welcome to the Vampire Hunter Association hunters! I don't have to introduce myself to you. You should know who I am. You should know that from now on things in the Association will not be the same as before but what does not change is that we the hunters protects the human from the vampires. From now you are a full-fledged hunter who has finished your training. You will now be given a real mission that will cause your life. You will be putting your life on line to protect the life of the human from vampires. If any of you who does not have the guts or not willing to put their life in the line of duty can get out from here. We do not need a hunter that are not willing to sacrifice your life for the safety of others." Yagari stared at the new young hunters.
"The next briefing will be handle by Kaito. While Kaito give the young hunters the information, mission and others Yagari looks at Zero who seems to daze out. He pats Zero's shoulder softly and Zero was startled. "You never out of focus before. What exactly happen to you kid?" Yagari look at Zero and Zero averted his eyes. "You're averting my eyes for the second time Zero. Tell me what happen." "I…" Zero stopped talking before he can finish. 'I couldn't possibly tell you that I was bothered because of Kaname can't I. If I tell you this, you will definitely turn him to dust.' "Finish the sentence Zero. You what?" "Nothing I'm just thinking about something else. Not important. By the way May and Hoshi are not participating in this mission?" Zero try to change the subject. Yagari starred at Zero for moment before he continue. "No, they are not participating. I send them to another mission to investigate something." Zero nod.
"As you all know that the number of Level E's are increasing. We need to take precaution to avoid an unwanted situation. Our source revealed that there are two nest where they gather and we will send two groups to eliminate and check the place. Each group will be lead by an experienced hunter. You will and must listen to every command that was given by them. We already choose two leader that will guide each group which is Kiryu Zero and Takamoto Daiki. If you have any objection with your current leader you can step out now." Everyone agree. Kaito nod. "Eiji, Fumio, Haru, Aki and Taro you will be in Zero's group and the rest will be in Daiki's group. Please move your ways in your group." Kaito order them. The hunters start to move with their own group. "Now! Let's begin your first mission in group. I wish you luck in completing this mission." Kaito, the Vice President of the Hunter Association smiles. The group then carried on their mission with their leader.
Yusuke licks the blood from the blade that he's holding. "Are you hungry Zero?" Yusuke hold his silver cat then he smiles. "Let's go. I will feed you something good." As Zero is eating Yusuke stroke Zero's fur. "Oh Zero! How I wish this is your hair." Yusuke recall when he save Zero after he was attack by Level E. How small and fragile Zero's body and how shiny was his hair. Yusuke continue stroking Zero while he imagining. "He is so cute. He didn't even realize what I have done to him when he was unconscious." Yusuke lick his lips. His eyes burn with passion. "Such alluring body. What a waste if it is not treat with such delicate ways." He chuckle. "Don't you think Zero?" The silver cat purr. "Oh! Don't worry. I will love you and cherish you forever Zero, with passion and lust." He then leave Zero and walk to a long dark tunnel where loud moans can be heard. "Master."
Zero look at the five hunters in front of him. "Introduce yourself." He said. "Let me start first!" The red hair girl from before raise her hand. "I am Haru and this is my best friend Aki." She pull her Aki closer to her. "Hi! I am Aki. Nice to meet you." Aki said with a cheerful voice. Both Haru and Aki are petite and Aki tied her blonde hair into a ponytail. "I'm Fumio and the one who's wearing spectacle is Eiji and the expressionless guy over here is Taro." The tallest guy in their group introduce himself. "I'm 20 years old by the way." Fumio add. "Nobody ask you Fumio." Haru glance at him. Fumio ignore her. "Taro is the oldest, he is 23 years old and Eiji is 21 years old." Fumio continue. "Me and Aki are 20 years old." Haru smile. "Nobody ask you Haru." Fumio said sarcastically. "Stop copying others Fumio." Aki scold him. Fumio and Aki glare at each other.
"How old are you Kiryu?" Eiji ask Zero curiously. Everyone attention now direct to Zero. "I'm 18. Now you already know each other let's get moving." Zero walk past them leaving the dumbfounded group. "What the fuck? He is younger than all of us! Shit!" Fumio curse. "Well, I actually thought that he will be at least 19 or 20 years old. I never thought that he is still in high school." Haru explain. "Me too. To think that he has the same experienced as the senior hunter really shocked me." Aki continue. "Guys! What are you doing standing there? We should get going." Zero call them. They then follow Zero.
"Why are you not surprised or you just don't show your expression?" Eiji ask Taro. "No, I just happen to know him." "WHAT? You know him?" Fumio ask. "No. I just heard about him from the senior hunter while I walk past them." "What about him?" Fumio keep on asking. "Fumio! Shh..!" Haru stop Fumio from asking. "What is it Haru? Can't you see that I'm asking question here? Don't act like you don't want to know." Haru give an eye contact to Fumio showing him that Zero is looking at them. Fumio shut his mouth and stop asking question. "Stupid." Aki murmur. Fumio glare at her. Aki reply by sticking her tongue out toward Fumio. "Both of you stop it! Stop acting like a child." Eiji warn them. "Tell me everything after this." Fumio whisper to Taro. They get ready after Zero inform them that they arrive at the location. They enter the big castle through the broken gate. The castle is located in the middle of the forest and far away from the city.
"Didn't they say that this is one of the Level E's nest? Why didn't we see any Level E lurking around here?" Fumio ask them after they enter the old castle. "Are we in the correct location?" He ask again. Zero look at him. "We are in the correct location. Lower your voice and be cautious would you? Don't ever lower your guard no matter in any situation." Zero warn them. Suddenly a group of Level E's attacks them and they kill them within second. One of the Level E try to escape and Zero's group follow him. They end up in the basement when Zero put a bullet through the Level E. They were greet by a voice from the dark tunnel. "Welcome Zero to my humble castle." A voice full of sinister greet them. "I have been waiting for you, my dear Zero." Then he chuckle.
