Multiple security members had put on their uniforms, their vest and, just in case… scratch resistant gloves. Soon after, all the members had put their possessions in numbered lockers. One by one they did so, all in a single line. They slapped their boots on a bench and tied them tight. They all did all that in a row and at the same time. They affix the rest of their gear and pour out the security locker room. They marched down the main security room and out into the hallway. They only had to march a few steps in order to get into the control room.
Once they did so, they all stood in a line.
"Ready for duty, sir!" The head of security yelled. The boss walked in front of them.
"Alright, men, we have intruders. We need them taken here, and immediately!" The boss announced.
He walked in front of the screen and switched it back on. "
"Here they are in the main lobby."
They saw what the intruders are… then most if not all the security guards laughed. Then the head asked.
"Uh… why did we need the entire security team for a cat, a dog, and a hamster?" He jokily asked. The boss' expression turn to not all that serious, but ended up laughing too.
"Alright, you got me, but we do need them taken here to see if they have tags, and see if we can't find the owners."
The boss then walked to a large window, overlooking the mainframe core, which was where the tour was at now.
The head of security, chuckled.
"Rock, paper, scissors for whoever has to get them?"
"You're on, Jack!" A man challenged.
He then walked up to his super-visor and made a fist. Then the rest of the team went,
"Rock, paper, SCISSORS!"
The head of security has won the match. The challenger snapped his figures playfully, then started to walk out the door.
"Alright, men, get undressed, it's pizza day!" Jack said, the head of security.
As they entered the security room again, they heard the elevator piston as it started to descend. The man who lost, made it to the first floor, he walked down the hall. He passed the café. He rounded the corner and pointed towards a camera that was in the hallway.
People in the control room chuckled at him as he rounded the second corner.
Bolt, Mittens and Rhino had sat down in the lobby. They were thinking hardly. Mittens was able to calm Bolt down, whom was nearing the point of bashing his head against the wall. He was now rather calm and breathing slowly.
"I- I'm sorry, I'm just…"
"Bolt, it's fine just don't hurt yourself, okay?" She half smiled at him.
"Ok, I promise." He said raising his head.
Rhino was closest to the hallway, so when he heard footsteps he became anxious.
"Bolt, someone's coming…" He said.
He looked up. He then whispered.
"Get ready to run…" He said standing up. The others nodded as they got ready to run. Then, as soon as the security guard came in they ran past him. He turned around ran after them. He nearly slipped and fell doing so. The three of them ran, trying to figure out where to go next. Bolt slipped has he rounded the corner, he saw a way…
"The lift, go to the lift!" He yelled. Of course the security guard only heard a loud bark. Mitten's had made it to the lift, and helped Rhino get on board. Bolt was a little behind after slipping and the security guard was gaining on him. Mitten looked at him worry-full. He nodded. Mittens had no choice but to jump up and press the up button. The lift started to rise as Bolt ran as fast as he can.
Finally he made a daring leap and just caught the lift in time. He slipped his tail in just as it went out of sight. The guard, at first was angry, and then smiled when he found out where they were going.
Once they reached the top, they ran off the elevator and ran to the door, without looking. The button was too high for them to press. Then just out of nowhere, a man opened the door, and all three darted inside. The man stared at them until the door closed again. Mittens, Bolt, and Rhino all breathed heavily then lowered their ears when they found that they were surrounded by people. They tried to run back to the door, only to realize it had closed.
"Well, they just walked themselves, into the room." The boss said. "How convenient."
The three looked very worried.
"Hey there little guys, we aren't going to hurt you…" He smiled. "We just want to help you get home."
Bolt tilted his head in confusion.
"You want to help us?" He asked. Yet, again all they heard was a rather small bark. The boss looked skeptical; then lightened up as he came up with an idea.
"Bill, go to the Doctors Office and get experiment #454." He said, looking towards the scientist.
"Ok, boss." He said getting up from his post and heading to the first floor.
The scientist soon came back with a large box. He emptied it out to reveal metal collars with lights on them, all in different sizes. The boss picked the appropriate size for the three.
"Ok, stand still." He said, as he attached each one with the metal collars.
"Aw… these things are soo cold…" Bolt said shivering a bit. The boss grew wide eyed.
"I- It works…" He mumbled. "It actually works?" The boss explained.
"What works?" Rhino asked. The boss choked a little on his words. He soon forced them out.
"Well, little ones the devices around you are the Doctor's latest invention." He told them.
All three looked awkwardly at each other. Then Mittens looked up at the boss.
"So, you mean you can understand us?"
The boss smiled widely, and nodded.
