This was not happening again. We moved to this little stupid town to try and have a normal life. Well as normal as a vampire's life can get but I did not expect this to happen. With all the crazy vampire, werewolf, hybrid shit in Mystic Falls, I was hoping that Beacon Hills would be a little normal but obviously that is too much to ask for. I looked around me and saw that they were all trying to be quiet trying not to freak me out, if only they knew.
"Charlie," said Scott taking a cautious step towards me, that's when it hit me. I took a step back bewildered.
He looked different. Werewolves weren't supposed to look like this. I never saw a werewolf that looked like that.
"This is impossible," I said looking at Scott who was back to looking normal again.
"I know you're freaking out right now but we can explain," said Stiles.
"You're a werewolf," it was more of a statement than a question.
"Ok, so maybe we don't have to explain," said Stiles.
"I'm not gonna hurt you," said Scott taking another step towards me, this time I stayed in my place.
"But how? You're…I…" I wasn't even sure what to say.
"You probably have a lot of questions and we'll answer all of them but just know that we're the good people here, we won't hurt you," said Scott.
"So what? You're all werewolves?" I asked.
"No, just me," said Scott.
"And me," said Isaac.
Ok, this is weird and unexpected.
"Umm, I thought werewolves only turn on full moons," I said, at least that's how it worked in Mystic Falls.
"That's kind of a myth," said Scott.
"Well actually, they can turn whenever they want but on full moons, they don't have a choice," said Stiles.
I nodded my head absorbing the new information.
"I need a drink," I said.
"Right there with ya sister," said Lydia.
I sat back at the bar and took a shot. Why couldn't I have a drama free life for once? All I wanted was to relax but that wasn't gonna happen.
"Are you ok?" asked Stiles sitting next to me.
"Ya, I just wanna go home," I said standing up and paying for my drinks.
"Ya, of course," he said standing up as well.
After finding Danny and Nath we left the club and started walking towards the parking lot where our cars were parked.
"Are you ok to drive?" asked Stiles.
"Umm ya, I didn't really drink that much," I said. I probably did but being a vampire gave me a high tolerance for alcohol.
"Ok, just pull over if you don't feel good," he said worriedly.
"I will," I said with a small smile.

The ride back was quiet and long, that was when I remembered something.
"What was with your scream?" I asked.
"What?" said Lydia.
"Your scream could not have been a normal one, it was loud and it kinda hurt my ears," I said recalling her blood curdling scream.
"Right, I'm kind of a Banshee," she replied.
"A what?" I've been around for a long time but this is the first time I heard of a banshee.
"Kind of like a spirit that can feel when someone is about to die, or is in pain," she answered.
"This is a lot to take in one day," I said.
"We know but we're not bad, promise," said Allison.
The rest of the ride was quiet again and I didn't bother speaking again after that.
After what seemed to be the longest ride of my life, we finally arrived home and although it was pretty late the lights were still on which meant my parents were still up. After the car was parked in the right spot, we all hoped out and walked to my door.
"This was awesome, we should do it again sometime," said Danny getting inside the house with Nath following behind him, ya, awesome.
"Sooo…" started Scott but didn't really say anything.
"Yup." It got awkward for a bit with everybody just standing there until mum and dad came making things more awkward.
"You're back!" exclaimed my mum hugging me.
"Ya, are you ok?" she was acting kind of weird.
She took a step back and stood next to father which was trying to hold in his laughter too. They just quietly looked at us. The second I inhaled a big gust of air, I wrinkled my nose but sniffed a couple of more times just to make sure.
"Did you…did you guys smoke weed?" I asked with wide eyes. Why do my parents do this to me?
"Maybe," chuckled my dad.
"I leave you two for one night and you get higher than a kite!"
"Whatever mom! Isn't it your bed time?" said mum making me roll my eyes.
"I'll be in in a second," I said giving them a glare, thank fully they took the hint and went in giggling and kissing like teenagers while they went upstairs.
"You're parents are so cool," said Scott.
"More like embarrassing," I said looking at them again. "Ok look guys, I won't say a word so you can trust me, I won't blab or anything."
"Oh we didn't think you would," interjected Stiles.
They're probably wondering why I was taking this easily and not running for the hills, little did they know, I had a secret of my own.
"Well I don't know about you guys but I need some beauty sleep," said Lydia flipping her hair.
"Ya, we should probably call it a night," said Isaac.
"I guess I'll see you guys tomorrow then," I said giving them a small smile.
Lydia got into her car followed by Allison and Isaac while Scott and Stiles stayed, that was until Stiles turned around and gave him a look.
"Right, I should probably ask Lydia for a ride, I don't have my motorcycle," he said pointing behind him with his thumb trying to look inconspicuous. I just rolled my eyes. "See ya."
"Bye Scott," I said waving at him.
Once Lydia's car was gone, it was awkwardly quiet for a while and I could hear Stiles' heartbeat pick up. He fidgeted with the hem of his shirt out of nervousness before he finally had the courage to look up at me.
"You sure you're ok?" he asked.
"I'm fine don't worry."
"Good, umm.. I'm sorry we didn't say anything before.."
"It's alright," I cut him off, "It's not a subject you just bring up during a conversation," I said trying to make him let it go because if he feels guilty for hiding his friend's secret then I should feel guilty about hiding my secret too. "Plus it wasn't your secret to tell."
"Right, umm then I guess I should be leaving too," he said still nervous.
"See you around," I said giving him a small smile.
He nodded his head and turned around in his heels and got into his car. I let out a huge sigh and went back inside my house. I wasted no time before running upstairs to my room and closing the door. I leaned my head against the door and let out steady breaths. Why did this always happen to me? I was hoping to have a quiet couple of years of school before I had to move again but I guess that was too much to ask for.
I slowly walked away from my door and went into my bathroom where I started the water for the bath. Once the tub was filled with steaming water and some sweet scented bubbles I stepped in and layed down relaxing my muscles. It felt good after the long day that I had.

It was already lunch time and I still hadn't seen the only friends that I made in Beacon Hills. It was Monday now and I haven't spoken to any of them since the road trip we took. Since I didn't feel like sitting alone in our usual seat, I decided to sit under a large tree that provided me some shed and took out a book that I was reading. I tuned out the rest of the world and indulged myself in the book I was reading. Reading a book always gave a feeling of serenity and piece, an imaginary place to escape to where I could relax and forget about my life and problems. I was silently reading my book when I felt someone standing next to me. I reluctantly looked up to find Lydia standing there with the others behind her.
"Why are you sitting here?" she asked sitting next to me with the others quickly following her action and sitting around me.
I simply shrugged and went back to my book but stopped when I felt eyes on me. I slowly put the book down and looked ahead of me to find them all staring at with cautious eyes.
"What?" I asked kind of annoyed.
"Nothing, umm so how was your day?" asked Stiles.
"Boring, you?" I asked.
"Nothing interesting," said Stiles looking at the others. I looked at them all and there was no doubt in my mind that they all skipped together, probably for some werewolf related thing that I was not ready to get involved in.
"We would've invited you to skip with us but we weren't sure if you…" started Allison but I just cut her off.
"Really, you don't have to explain anything to me, it's none of my business." I said waving her off.
"So what did we miss?" asked Scott.
"Not much, boring classes, boring teachers and oh, that girl over there has been giving me weird looks the whole day but I have no idea why, I mean I've never even met her before. I don't even know her name." I said nodding my head towards a girl with blonde hair that has been giving me the stink eye since I walked into school this morning. I wasn't sure what I did to her but she definitely hated me.
"Oh that's Kate Wright, major biotch, I never really liked her to be honest," said Lydia.
"Well I don't know what's going on with her but she hates me for some reason."
I looked at her once again and no doubt, she was looking at me and talking with her friends. Well this was gonna be interesting. My first experience with "mean, popular," girls.
