Chapter 6

"Hey Sunbeam up for a fight"?

Mary looked up to face Gajeel it had been a month since Snowdrop joined the guild and became partners with Mary the two had been going on jobs left and right to save up their financial living in their dorm for the month until finally deciding to take a day off today. "No thanks Gajeel Im on my day off", she said.

"What"?! He gaped.

"You didnt have trouble fighting Salamander"!

"I wanted to make absolute sure he was my cousin and besides its Natsu when he wants to fight he doesnt leave you alone unless you fight him or just beat him with one hit", Mary said.

"Cant argue with that", he sweatdropped.

She only chuckled with a smile as she looked at Snowdrop who was talking with the other Exceeds, Natsu and Gray were arguing as always, Lucy sighing at the two while Wendy sweatdrop with a slight smile, Erza walking to the two and wacking them both, and Leafa drinking with Cana grinning Mary gave a smile then got up. "Hm? Where you going"? Gajeel questioned.

"Out for a walk", she said.

Mary walked out of the guild whistling a tune with a smile. "Fairy Tail really is something one big family and Im actually part of it", she thought.

'Solaria will we always be family'?

'Of course Mary no matter what we'll always be family'.

Mary clutched her fang charm with a sad smile. "Solaria, mother I think youd like them", she thought.

"So do you remember anything yet Snowdrop"? Happy asked.

"Not yet nothing really comes to me", Snowdrop said.

"Dont rush it take your time remembering", Pantherlily said.

"Heh you sound like Mary when you say that", Snowdrop giggled.

"How's working with Mary by the way"? Carla asked.

"Great actually sure Mary is a bit reckless but other then that working with her is wonderful", Snowdrop smiled.

"Speaking of Mary where did she go"? Pantherlily asked.

Snowdrop grew wide eyed and looked around surprised that Mary wasnt around. "Where did she go"? Snowdrop gasped.

"Hey Gajeel! You know where Mary is"? Happy called.

"Huh? She said something about taking a walk", Gajeel said, eating some iron.

"Guess she needed some air", Carla said.

"Im gonna go find her", Snowdrop said.

"Im sure its nothing Snowdrop", Pantherlily said.

"I just want to make sure", Snowdrop said.

Snowdrop then flew off out the guild.

Mary laid on the grass in the park looking up at the sky hands behind her head she yawned closing her eyes.

Dream...

'Where are you'?!

A younger Mary gasped looking around frantically shaking as she hugged herself. 'Why? Why, why, why'? She hiccuped.

'WAAAH'!

"Mary"!

End of dream...

"Mary"!

Mary gasped opening her eyes surprised to see Snowdrop looking at her worried. "Snowdrop", Mary said softly.

"Are you ok? You were screaming and crying in your sleep you still are", Snowdrop said worried.

Mary grew wide eyed and sat up wiping away her tears. "Yeah sorry just remembering something sad. What are you doing here anyway Snowdrop"? Mary asked.

"When I didnt see you at the guild and Gajeel said you went out for a walk I got worried and went after you", Snowdrop said, fiddling with her tail.

Mary grew wide eyed then softly smiled and patted Snowdrop's head. "Im sorry Snowdrop I didnt meant to worry you", she apologized.

Snowdrop gave a small smile as Mary picked her up and stood. "Come on lets go back to the guild I could use a bite", Mary smiled.

"Ok", Snowdrop smiled.

They went back to the guild walking inside.

"Finally found you Mary"!

Mary looked up to see Natsu running to them Happy following. "Hey Natsu, Happy what's up", Mary asked.

"Natsu wants to ask you something", Happy smiled.

"Oh? Ask away", Mary said.

"We were wondering if you two want to join our team", Natsu grinned.

"Eh"? Mary asked surprised.

She looked behind him to see Lucy, Erza, Wendy, Gray, and Carla smiling at them. "But you guys have enough members of your team. Wont it feel a bit crowded with me and Snowdrop"? Mary asked.

"Nah we all agreed on it", Natsu grinned.

"Itll be fun", Happy said.

"Well", Mary said.

"Oh lets join them Mary please", Snowdrop begged.

"Haha you gotta agree now Mary", Natsu snickered.

Mary sighed with a smile. "Ok, ok Natsu you win I'll join", she said.

"Yeah! She agreed you guys"! Natsu cheered.

Mary chuckled at her cousin as she followed him to the group Snowdrop in her hand who was smiling brightly Mary had a smile as she thought. "Ill be alright now Im not alone anymore it'll be alright".
