Asami gasped and angled her hips wider. Korra's hands gripped onto the flesh of her thighs to reassure herself that this was real. Asami tasted wonderful. Her juices poured into her mouth as a sweet nectar. It was morning and Korra woke her up in the most pleasantly way possible. Asami moaned as her head was still fuzzy from sleep but the tentative strokes of Korra's tongue brought her more energy.

" Ah... Korra," she moaned out and rolled her pelvis into the detective's wanting mouth. She shuddered a breath. "We... we shouldn't be doing this." She protested despite the way she surrendered to Korra's touch. Korra didn't stop, she pressed her tongue more and slid it into harsher patterns against Asami's throbbing clitoris. The executive arched her back and gripped the sheets. Korra seemed to know exactly what to do and how to do it. She soon found orgasm, shuddering and moaning loudly until it subsided.

Korra crawled up Asami's body intimately sliding her mocha skin against her cream. She kissed her in wanting. When the kiss broke Asami looked into her eyes. She found a collection of things. Worry, pain, guilt and a longing for love. She gently grazed her fingertips over the bruise on her cheek. "Did you win?" She asked. Korra shook her head.

" No it was a set up," she sighed. "The match was rigged. I got slipped some kind of narcotic." Korra groaned and rubbed her eyes. The drugs she had been under in the past couple of days had taken their toll on her mind and body. She was tired physically, mentally and emotionally.

" Korra... why are you here?" Asami asked.

"Why do you think? " Korra asked with a mad blush on her cheeks. Asami shot up as Korra started to head to her personal bathroom.

"WAIT!" She shouted. "Don't go in there! It's a mess!" Asami jumped out of the bed and escorted her out of the room. "Use the one down the hall to the left." Korra arched an eyebrow in suspicion but obeyed her request. When she was done in the bathroom she walked passed the door to the room that Asami insisted was storage earlier. She looked to see if Asami retreated to the bedroom. Her hand gripped the doorknob and attempted to turn it but it was locked.

'Why would a storage room be locked?' She pondered to herself. Asami had avoided personal questions and kept certain doors locked. She had secrets she didn't want Korra to know. But why? What did Asami Sato have to hide? Korra wanted to know. She needed to know. Something itched in the back of her mind. Something dark. She picked up her clothing which was left undisturbed during the night. She returned to the bedroom, Asami was getting dressed.

"I should go," Korra announced as she got dressed. "There is a lot of work to be done." Asami nodded and glanced at her as she clothed herself while drowning in her thoughts.

"Korra... what's going on?" Asami asked as she approached her. Korra sighed.

"I'm not quite sure yet but I know it will all reveal itself in due time... right now I'm gonna keep fighting. When my moment comes... I'll be ready to take down whoever is in my way." Asami smiled softly and leaned against her bedroom doorway as she folded her arms.

"I suppose it's safe to tell you that I've been attracted to you for a while now." Korra looked up at her. "But we shouldn't continue this... it's a conflict of interest." Korra surprised her by stepping up to her and pulling her waist against her chiseled body. Asami groaned as arousal fluttered in her lower belly. Korra's lips ghosted near hers.

" I've been through hell and back many times to know that when something good comes along I need to hold onto it as hard as I can. I know what's between us isn't something to take lightly. To hell with the rules, Asami. I'm a Triad now." She said before kissing her hard making her blush. The kiss took the executive's breath away. Asami's knees buckled under her but Korra was there to hold her. The way Korra kisses her sent her flying. Such hunger and passion worked behind those lips. Asami forgot who she was, what her duties were, what her revenge needed... all she knew right now was one thing.

Korra.

She drank her in, sucking on her explorative tongue. She moaned into the detective's mouth as the kiss grew more and more intense. Hands grasped at flesh with need. A need that Korra only could fulfill for her.

"What the hell are you doing?"

Korra and Asami broke their kiss and slowly turned their gazes to Kuvira who stood before them in the hall. She glared and folded her arms. Her hair was neatly braided over her shoulder. Korra's eyebrows raised.

" Kuv," Asami smiled and broke away from Korra's grasp. "Why am I getting all these unannounced visits?" She asked with a crooked expression.

"Humph..." Kuvira scowled. "I came to inform you that Yakone is dead."

"What?" Asami walked over to the earth nation girl. "How did that happen?"

"The word is that one of his fighters turned on him during a disagreement..." she said while directing her eyes towards the water tribe woman in the room. Korra raised her chin and squared her shoulders.

"He gave me no choice, I had to kill him. He drugged me during the fight and was going to sell me to the Red Lotus."

Kuvira's glare transformed to a surprised expression. "Red Lotus? Why would they be after a mere detective?" Korra averted her eyes, tightening her jaw as Kuvira stared at her.

" Wait..." Kuvira took a step forward. "Now I know where I've seen your face! You're the Avatar!"

Korra stayed silent. Asami became curious and pressed for answers. "What's the Avatar?" She asked looking in Korra's direction.

" The Avatar is a special agent containing an impressive amount of skills. She can take down 50 soldiers on her own. She can infiltrate any operation unnoticed like a ghost. She operated under the name Avatar to conceal personal information. Such a strange alias in my opinion. I knew I've seen your face before... you cut your hair since then."

" Well they said I needed an avatar to operate under while I worked in special ops as a secret agent... I simply couldn't pick a name so that's how it ended up being."

"Wait a damn minute!" Asami turned to Korra. "You are some super soldier?!"

"Was... not anymore. I'm retired."

"Bullshit." Kuvira said with a laugh. "You are just killing time with police work until the army needs your services again. They wouldn't let someone like you retire for good."

Korra sighed with a nod. "You're right. But I am enjoying my vacation in the mean time." She leaned over and kissed the side of Asami's shocked face. She gave the executive a smug smirk before leaving the room. She paused briefly to say, "See you in the pit."

...

Korra pressed open the swinging door of the bar. Her boots clicked against the hard wood. She wore jeans, a white beater and a brown leather jacket. This was the Water Triad Gang's hangout. Her eyes scanned the area. A few guys made intense eye contact with her. They knew who she was. She was the one who supposedly killed Yakone. She needed to make her mark as one of them now. She sat at the bar.

"What are you havin'?" The bartender asked as he was wiping the counter down.

"Rum... Kraken if you have it." While the bartender poured her a drink, a man sat next to her. Her eyes glanced over to him. He had long black hair, icy eyes and a strong jaw. He was handsome and had a darker complexion than Korra. He smiled and raised his chin slightly.

" Raava, am I right?"

"That's right." Korra said before gulping down her posion, impressing the company next to her. He gestured his hand out to her.

"Tupit... from the North. At your service," he said with a charming smile. Korra turned to him with a smirk. She reached into her jacket and pulled out her pistol. She heard the sound of cocked guns around her. She grinned. Tupit straightened as his friendly expression faded. She placed her gun on the surface of the bar before extending her hand out.

" Where I come from, real allies shake hands without a finger on the trigger." Tupit gave her a hard stare. He took his hand away from the silver handgun that was tucked in the front of his black jeans. He laughed and slapped his strong hand into hers giving it just one good, hard shake. He gestured to his posse and they all lowered their weapons, a few in hesitation. Tupit lounged back against the bar counter.

" What can I do for you, Miss Raava?" He asked while trailing his gaze towards the woman's ass. She cleared her throat and delivered a hard stare. He chuckled.

"Give me control of the pit group," she demanded. "I'm the best fighter. I can teach those girls how to fight for real. They will have the others rolling over like dogs." Tupit angled his head up as he collected his thoughts on the request. He rubbed his strong chin and hummed.

"I know you are the best fighter of our current line up of the girls... however I am not sure if you can handle the business side of things. Setting up matches, taking bets, training and scheduling. You cant possibly do all of that and fight as well."

Korra smiled. "Of course, that is was assistants are for. I know someone who can handle business rather well."

" That's rather hard to believe..."

"I can get someone from Future Industries."

The entire bar fell quiet at the mention of the company name. Tupit turned completely facing his body towards her with furrowed eyebrows. Korra motioned to the bartender to get her glass refilled.

" Future Industries stopped doing Triad work along time ago. What makes you think you can get help from them?"

" I happen to be very acquainted with someone in power," she said taking just a sip this time.

" Regardless of that actually happening, you still are just a woman," he said and gestured over to a larger burly man who just approached the two of them. "If you can knock out Ol' Bear here in a scrap I will let you do whatever you want. I just require my 40% at the end of the day."

Korra rolled her shoulders. "We can talk about percentages after I kick this guy's ass." Bear gave her a wide grin. He had several teeth missing in the front. His black beady eyes sparkled at her and Korra couldn't help but smile back. They moved outside, everyone in that bar followed to watch the fight. Korra rolled her neck to loosen her shoulders. The group was cheering on Korra's opponent. She knew that this guy was slow and would be an easy challenge. She decided to humor herself. She had Tupit hold her gun for her.

"Raaaawwww!" He shouted as he lounged in her direction. She stepped to the side letting him swipe passed her. His own momentum made him tumble a bit but he recovered quickly. He turned around and threw a punch towards her head. She leaned back just a little to dodge the attack with a smile on her face. She dodged a few more swings before landing a punch of her own. Her fist impacted against his face but she was the one that experienced pain. She groaned and held her wrist flicking it to ease the pain. This guy's face was made of steel or something.

She knew she had to use his momentum against him. He was too large to grapple and too hard to strike. She reacted quickly when he swung at her again. She moved just enough so his fist flew by her neck, grasped onto his attacking arm and further pulled his body forward. She ducked under his legs as he fell face first into the concrete floor. The sheer weight of the guy was all she needed. His face cracked the floor and just like that, he was out like a light. She straightened her posture and brushed her hands together with a smug smirk.

"Next time you should give me someone a bit more challenging." She suggested. Tupit laughed and came up to shake her hand firmly.

" I'm embarrassed to have seen that," he admitted. "Welcome to the family." He tussled her hair a bit before handing her pistol back to it's rightful owner.

"Thanks," Korra smiled and tucked the gun back in the holster under her jacket. "I'll be in contact with you went I get my assistant for the business side of things."

"Let's talk business when you get that set up then."

" Sure thing."

...

" Let me get this straight..." Asami placed her cup of coffee down on the cafe table. "You want me to run an illegal fight group?" Her eyebrow arched as confusion washed over her face.

"Well, not you in particular. If you could send me someone who could do the job too I would appreciate it." Korra said leaning back in her chair. "I need someone to run the business side of things while I focus on training and fighting."

"Not sure how this would benefit me in anyway though."

"If you don't want to participate I suppose I can request a rookie to do it for me."

"Now wait a minute," Asami placed her hands up. "I never said I wouldn't do it. I'm just curious as to why you would think I would be willing to work with Triads after working so hard in getting their money out of my company's financials."

Korra smiled at her and leaned over the table. "Because I think I have you figured out..." Asami's lips curved upward as she looked back at her with intrigue. "Asami Sato doesn't belong behind a desk. She belongs in the action. The way you enjoyed going undercover with me in the subway dance club. You were beaming with excitment. You want to be up close and personal. "

Asami lifted her chin, biting her bottom lip and drumming her fingertips on the coffee stained wood. Korra leaned back with a shrug.

" Not to mention it would make those Triads shit their pants if they saw you there." Asami laughed gently at Korra's remark. Korra jumped lightly to the feeling of Asami's foot gliding up her leg. Her eyes locked with green irises filled with mischief.

"I get to work closely with you..." Asami saw that as the biggest perk, she wiggled her toes in between Korra's legs, making the detective fumble with a blush.

"H-h-hey..." Korra mumbled and scooted her chair back away from the executive's motions.

"Something the matter, Korra?" Asami tilted her head with an innocent expression until a smirk couldn't help but appear.

" It's Raava in front of the Triads... that's the name I'm operating under."

"Okay then, Raava." The executive took a drink of her coffee again before adding, "When am I meeting this, Tupit?"

" Whenever you are up to it," Korra said. "He's pretty much at the same bar every night."

" Let's do it then."

...

"Tupit of the North," the woman unfolded a peice of paper. "Do you know the reason of my visit?" The long haired man was hunched forward in a chair his wrists were tied against the wood. He looked up at her hooded face as she stood before him resting a hand on her hip. He didn't answer her.

"Your the current reigning drug lord of this city." She approached him. "Heroine in particular... you are aware of the vast amount of that is being funneled straight to Zula's prostitution ring? It's used to keep the girls working hard. Kidnapping and forcing that stuff in their veins... you truly are a special type of man."

"No matter how many of us you kill there will always be someone to replace us." He said with a grunt. "You won't win this war."

" I'm not intending to end anything," the Dahlia rasped out with a sigh. "But because the police have trouble actually doing their jobs I am here to help even out the playing field. A sense of balance, if you will."

" Ha, some high and mighty bullshit."

"Contrary to what you believe, Mr. Tupit, I am not here to mark you as a target just yet."

" Then what do you want?"

The Black Dahlia looked at him with her red eyes and smiled.

"Raava."

...

An: thank you again. You guys are amazing.
