Alistair survived getting shot by Vikki and was left comatose for two years and hidden away safely in Europe by his henchmen; Alistair returned to Harmony in 2010 to discover Julian had completely taken over Crane Industries, Alistair has been plotting for months to regain his empire from Julian; he remembers a granddaughter he stole from Julian and Ivy in 1992 and suspects Vikki Chatsworth to be her; he hires a private investigator to look into it and conduct a DNA test; the test comes back as a positive match, Alistair seeks Vikki out at a mental institution; Vikki has been reformed, but quickly relapses after Alistair tells her who she really is, twisting her already fragile psyche against her parents (essentially a repeat of Vincent) Vikki suffers from nightmares and extreme guilt, now knowing she killed her own brother, Fox. This is the beginning of a major shakeup, and the Crane family will never be the same. Indeed, Alistair may have succeeded in destroying what was left of his (despised) family after this...
