Not much to say today for this chapter. Been meaning to update, was just doing other things. Anyways, just so you guys know for those who don't follow my other work, I did start a Super Smash Bros. story earlier this week (The Fourth Tournament.) I do plan on updating it alongside this, so those of you interested, go check out the first chapter! And I promise, it won't end up being like some OTHER two stories…*Grumble grumble*

"Oof!" I winced in pain as her fist connected with my stomach, knocking the wind out of me. I'll tell you one thing: Holo may look scrawny and weak, but she's far from it.
"I can't believe you Amaterasu!" She screamed at me, tears rolling down both our faces. I looked over – Lawrence was sitting on the bed, hands on his face, grieving, in no shape to stop Holo from hitting me.
"I-I thought you would've been able to save her! I don't care that you're in my world, but you've demonstrated you're power before! You could've done more!" She hit me again, clearly holding in all her hatred to not hit me in the face. Enough of those hits to the face and I'll die…
"I-I tried my best…O-Orochi was just too strong…" I said weakly.
"I don't care! You could've done more! She means a lot to Lawrence and me!" This whole time, she had been complaining about Norah being kidnapped. Are they just friends, or more…?
"Enough! Both of you!" Chloe said, having walked in on her hitting me.
Holo stared at me for a few more moments, before letting me go, causing me to collapse to the floor, unable to move out of pain. Holo walked off, sitting on the windowsill, looking out into the night at the light snowfall, some civilians still trying to clean up the damage caused by my and Orochi's fight.
Chloe walked over to me, kneeling down and placing a hand on my shoulder.
"Amaterasu…will you be able to move tonight?" She asked me gently.
"Y-yes…just let me rest for a moment…" I replied.
"Okay." She gently lifted me up, laying me on the bed, and setting a wet towel on my forehead. She very gently touched my stomach, and I cried out in pain.
"Sorry! Just need to see how bad it was…once we're gone from Nyohhira, I'll take a better look at you."
"Alright…" I said, looking over at Holo. "C-can one of you tell me who that girl is? I mean…you two seem very close and caring for her…"
"Um…if Holo or Lawrence haven't said anything to you yet, I won't say anything either." Chloe replied.
I sighed, knowing that I'd have to wait to find out.
"Well…are you two coming with Chloe and I?" I asked. "We…we won't make it on our own…"
"Of course we're going!" Holo suddenly snapped. "Lawrence and I care dearly for Norah! We're not just gonna sit around and let Yami or Orochi do bad things to her!"
"But…Holo…we don't have a lead on we're they're even at…" Lawrence said sadly.
"Actually…I might have an idea…" I said, speaking up.
"Where? Where is she?! Where is Norah!" Holo said, more so demanding it then asking.
"It's just a hunch…" I began, "but, in the past when I fought Yami, he was situated to the far north, where it was barren, and not much civilization."
"But…this is as far north as the maps will go. All that's left up here are the mountains to the immediate west, the Dolan Plains to the northwest, and Yoitsu to the southwest." Lawrence said.
"We're not going to Yoitsu unless we absolutely have to!" Holo said, jumping in.
"But…what if that's where Yami has gone Holo?" Chloe asked patiently.
"I don't care! Yoitsu will be the last place we check!" Holo said angrily.
"What's in Yoitsu?" I asked, feeling ignorant for not knowing.
"It's-"
"We'll tell you later." Lawrence said, interrupting Holo. "For now, let's prepare to leave for the Dolan Plains…we're going tonight."

I stared into the sky, lying in the back of Lawrence's wagon, my shirt lying next to me as Chloe was applying some medicines to my stomach, occasionally sticking medicine-tipped needles in to fix any internal damage, causing me to wince in pain.
"Ah!" I bite my lip as she stuck a particularly sharp one far into me.
"Oh quite whining. You'll thank me later." She told me.
"I-I know…but I absolutely hate you now…and it's just so cold…"
"The cold actually helps, you know. It's healing your wounds a bit quicker…" She responded.
"Right…sure…Ah!" I cried out as another needle was inserted. "This trip is going to be a pain…"
"Just stop complaining. Hopefully you'll be in fighting shape once we find Yami." Holo snapped.
I sighed, trying my best to ignore her. Suddenly, the cart stopped.
"What's going on?" Chloe and I asked simultaneously. When we got no response, we sat up – and I kind of wished I hadn't.
As far as the eye could see, demon scrolls – living scrolls that could spawn enemies if someone got too close – littered the Dolan Plains.
"Wh-what are they?" Holo asked shakily.
"Demon scrolls. When you approach them and get too close, you'll be locked into a fight with Imp forces. There is no running – you must defeat them all." I said.
"Well, this trip just got a lot more complicated." Lawrence said, gritting his teeth.
"No, this will help." I said, holding up a golden colored bell with a rope knot at the top. "This is the Peace Bell. It will protect us from the demon scrolls, so we have nothing to worry about."
"Well, that's helpful…" Holo said.
We continued traveling through the Plains, unsure of what lay ahead of us…

The figure followed Lawrence's cart, keeping their distance, hiding in and behind rocks, trees, all objects that offered protection from them being seen. They saw Amaterasu holding up a small trinket, though couldn't make it out, and was too far away to hear her speaking.
They sighed, and didn't notice the demon scroll behind them for a while. They then turned around, seeing the scroll.
Just when it seemed like the demon scroll would initiate a fight, the figure grabbed a solid white hilt hidden underneath their cloak, the end of it curved into a shepherd's cane. They pulled it out, and the blade seemed never-ending, longer than the sheath that it was kept in, and eventually, the two foot long katana came out of its sheath, and they sliced through the demon scroll, defeating it.
The figure turned around, seeing the cart starting to move, and they watched it for a moment.
Well, time to move out, they thought, following the cart slowly.

So yeah, short chapter, I'm sorry. Couldn't really think of anything other than Amaterasu's group leaving Nyohhira to look for Norah. Oh, and as for our mystery character, for those of you who have seen Volume 2 of RWBY, think of the character Raven Branwen (the mystery girl who saves Yang from Neo and then speaks with her after the credits,) and that's what I'm gonna leave it at for now. Ciao.
