Chapter 5
Nessie woke up to the sound of someone moaning, but it was hurting type of moaning. Rolling over she looked over to Anakin's bed and saw that he was tossing and turning before he moaned again. The only thing she could do at the moment was try to go back to sleep and when she did drift back to sleep the strange dream came back and that's when she realized that it was Anakin's dream and it had to do with someone who use to be in his life.
Anakin woke up and sat up in bed and looked around the room to see that everyone was still asleep or so he thought. Getting up he grabbed the robe at the end of his bed then he made his way to the door and left the room. Walking down the hallway he could feel everyone on the floor and they were all asleep. Coming up to the turbo-lift he hit the down button on the call box. The lift came to a stop on the floor and the doors opened up to an empty car. Getting on he hit the button that he wanted and the lift began to move downwards to the level that he wanted.
The lift stopped and the doors opened up and Anakin stepped out of the lift and headed down the hallway to the room of the Thousands Fountains. Opening the doors he walked through and made his way to one of the smaller fountains near the back of the room. Sitting down on the ground, and crossing his legs before closing his eyes. He breathed in and out a couple of times before he started his deep meditation.
Back upstairs in the dorm room, Nessie sat up and reached out with the Force and felt Anakin and he was meditating and she could also feel that he was a little bit calmer then what he was when he left the room. Getting up from the bed she grabbed the robe on her bed and putting it on before heading out of the room.
Walking down the hallway and coming to the lift. Hitting the button on the call box she stood there trying to remember what level that the Fountains were on, but the sound of the bell brought her out of her thoughts. Stepping onto the lift Nessie reached out with the Force to see which button Anakin had pushed only few minutes ago. After seeing the button he hit she reached out to the buttons and hit the button that she saw Anakin hit. The doors closed and the lift moved downwards to the level that she knew that Anakin was on. The lift stopped and once again the doors opened up and Nessie stepped out of the lift and started heading for the doors of the room of Thousand Fountains.
Walking into the room Nessie used the Force and it led her to a small fountain in the back of the room.
" Am glad it is you who found me, because I really don't want to be with the others." Anakin said without opening his eyes.
" Am glad to hear that, I understand what you are saying about them they are nice people, but there are times when you just want to be alone to think about things." Nessie said looking down at Anakin and not really sure what to do.
" Please have a seat and join me, um ... can I ask you how you got here? That is if you can remember what happened that is, if not that is okay." Anakin opened his eyes and stretched out his legs.
" Well believe it or not, I do remember what happened and how I got here too." Nessie began to tell Anakin as she sat down next to him.
" Really?" Anakin looked at her in suprisement.
" Yes really, will my master and I were to go to a planet and deliver medical supplies and machine parts but it was not to be. It seems that we were followed by a band of pirates. Once we were away from Corellia air space that was when they attacked. And just before they took the ship my master told me to go and hide which I did. And it seems like my master had sent the council a message as he was dying." Nessie said as she lean back against the fountain.
" Wow, so how did you get here on Coruscant?" Anakin asked also leaning back against the fountain.
" Well it seems that these pirates have a hide out here, but where I cannot tell you because all I know is once we landed they started going through the cargo and that's when they found me. And then the last thing I saw was bright flash of light and then waking up in the medical center." Nessie said as she started to yawning.
" I see it must have been close by to where you were founded at. I guess my next question is how did you know where I was?" Anakin asked as he turned to look at the girl sitting next to him.
" I could see your nightmare that you were having and I felt you wake up and leave the room, and I felt your presents all the way down here." Nessie said turning to face Anakin.
" Oh wow you know you are the very first person who could do that. I am fine now and thank you for caring enough to come and look for me. Why don't you go back to bed l will be there in a few minutes." Anakin took Nessie's hands and held them but as he touched her they both felt a shock as the Force wrapped itself around them.
Anakin then leaned forward just as Nessie leaned forward too and their lips meet. He gently kissed her before pulling away from her before giving her a smile.
" Well I guess I should be going now so I will see you in a few minutes." Nessie stood up and smiled down at Anakin before turning away from him and leaving the room.
Nessie walked back down the hallway again and to the lift that was still there on the floor that she was on.
Stepping into the lift and hitting the button that the dorm room was on. She stepped out of the lift when it stopped on the floor that she needed. Walking into the room
Nessie saw that everybody was still asleep.
Going over to her bed she took off her robe before climbing into bed and falling back to sleep.
" Great he is gone." Romy said as he sat up and looked over to Anakin's bed and saw that he wasn't there.
" You don't think he left the Temple?" Rebekka looked over to the bed too.
" I don't know, but the last time Obi-Wan was gone he was found in one of the lower levels of the city." Romy said as he remembered Obi-Wan going out to find his roaming Padawan.
" He is still in the Temple." Nessie says out loud without moving to face the other Padawans.
" How do you know." Tracie said looking over to Nessie.
" I just know." Nessie said before pulling the covers closer around her.
" Well the only thing we can do is wait and see if you are right Nessie." Romy said as he got up and left the room for the refresher.
The girls just laid back down and went back to sleep. When Romy came back to the room he went back to bed and back to sleep.
Anakin walked into the room and saw his friends still asleep and he reached out with the Force and felt Nessie relaxed and asleep.
Going to his bed he took off his robe and laying it at the end of the bed before getting into the bed and covering himself up before closing his eyes and tried to go back to sleep.
" Where did you go?" Romy asked Anakin as he sat up in the bed.
" Yeah Anakin where were you we were worried about you." Tracie said as she too sat up and looked over to Anakin.
" You know what guys if you were so worried about me then you guys would have come to look for me." Anakin said as he sat up and looked over to the other three Padawans.
" Um . . . the only person that wasn't here." Rebekka said as she looked over to Nessie.
" Well then it shows you three who really cares about me." Anakin said as the dorm Mistress came into the room.
" I'm glad to have all of you here mostly you Padawan Skywalker. Padawan Nessie I have a message from Master Yoda. He would like to see you before breakfast, so Anakin can you please show her to the Council Chambers." the dorm Mistress said as she looked at both Padawans.
" Yes Mistress." Anakin said as he looked over to Nessie.
" Good now everyone up it is time for breakfast." the elderly lady said before leaving the room.
" Well we better get going it is not a good idea to keep Master Yoda waiting." Anakin said as he got up and left the room.
" I wonder what he wants with me?" Nessie said as she got up and followed Anakin out of the room.
" Why do I get a feeling that something is going on with them." Romy said as he got up from his bed.
What he didn't see was the sad look come across Tracie's face. Because it was also here when Tracie realized that Anakin had a thing for the new girl.
Anakin and Nessie stepped out of the lift and walked down the small hallway before coming to a doorway.
" Well here is the Council Chamber of the High Council. I will sit right here and wait for you." Anakin nodded towards the doorway.
" Thanks well I guess I should see what Master Yoda wants." Nessie gave Anakin a nervous smile.
" One small word of advice don't show Master Yoda that you are nervous about being there." Anakin took a hold of Nessie's hand and gave it a small squeeze.
Nessie nodded before going to the doorway and rang the bell, before the door slid open and she walked into the room.
" Padawan Nessie please come in." Master Windu said as he motion for Nessie to come up to them.
" I was told that you wanted to see me?" Nessie stopped in the middle of the room and was facing the two Jedi Master that was in the room.
" Yes we are glad to see you up and about we are. Need to know what happened to you and you Master." Master Yoda said nodding his head to Nessie.
" Thank you Master. Well I can at the moment remember a few things but that is all." Nessie looked at both Masters.
" We understand so please tell us what you know, and we the last message and murder of your Master." Master Windu smiled at Nessie to let her know that it was
ok for her to tell them what she knows.
" Ok well we were to take some medical supplies and mechanical parts to a planet, but when we were just out of Corellia's space we were attacked. And just before they came on to the ship he told me to go and hide in the cargo hold and I just hid when the shots were fired." Nessie said as tears started to come to her eyes.
" You don't know where you both were going? And do you know how you got here?" Master Windu asked as he watched the girl trying to remember where her and her Master was going to.
" Sorry I can't remember the destination of where the cargo was going to. All I know is the pirates have a place somewhere here on Coruscant, but I don't know where. A couple of pirates took the ship to their place here, they found me still hiding in the cargo hold and then there was a flash of bright light and then the next thing I know I wake up here in the Temple's medical center." Nessie said as she looked at both Masters.
" We see, need these supplies does the planet mmmm?" Master Yoda asked.
" Yes Master they really need these supplies and they are counting on us to deliver them to this place. But I will need some help with the delivery. " Nessie said.
" Was there a list of the cargo?" Master Windu asked.
" Yes sir." Nessie bent down took off her shoe and twisted her heel which opened up and Nessie dumped out a small chip and handed over the small chip.
" We will see what's on it and get the stuff for you. So do you have any one that you would like to go with you." Master Windu asked as looked at the chip.
" Um . . . yes there is someone that I want to go with me, that's because he is the only person I know." Nessie said.
" Padawan Skywalker you want to go with you, do you not." Master Yoda asked with a little smile on his face.
" Um . . . Yes sir." Nessie said as she turned a little bit towards the doors and hoping that he was still waiting for her.
" Yes Skywalker should go with you, leave after breakfast you both will." Master Yoda said as he could feel that Anakin was outside in the hallway waiting for Nessie.
" Thank you Master Yoda." Nessie said as she bowed her head.
" We will call you to let you know when the ship is ready and which one it is also. Have a safe trip and we will see you back here at the end of the week. And May The Force Be With you both." Master Windu said as he dismissed Nessie.
Nessie bowed and turned around and left the room.
" So how did things go?" Anakin asked as he stood up and saw a smile on Nessie's face.
" Things went great, hope you have some clean clothes because we are going to finish the job that my Master and I was doing when we were attack." Nessie said as they walked down the hallway to the lift.
" Great so when do we leave?" Anakin asked as they stepped on to the lift as a couple Jedi Knights stepped out of the lift.
" We will be leaving after breakfast, and Master Windu will call me when the ship is ready." Nessie said as they got off the lift and headed for the dining hall.
" Hey guys we thought you would not join us for breakfast." Romy said as Anakin and Nessie sat down at the table with the other three Padawans.
" She was talking to Masters Yoda and Windu and it seems we are going to go to deliver some stuff to a planet that Nessie and her Master was doing before she came here." Anakin said as he started to eat his breakfast.
" Really man that sounds like fun, so do you know where you are going to?" Tracie asked as she finished her breakfast.
" Um at the moment we don't know where we are going to, because I can't remember the location, but am sure it will come to me once we are in space." Nessie said as she started to eat her breakfast.
Thirty minutes later the small group went back to the dorm room. Anakin and Nessie was just finished packing their small bags when Nessie got the call that ship was ready.
Anakin led them to the hanger bay and to the small cargo ship was waiting for them.
Once in their seats, Anakin in the pilot's chair and Nessie in the co-pilot's chair, Anakin started up the ship and they were heading out in to outer space.
" Ok so do you know where we are going?" Anakin asked but when he turn to Nessie he saw that she was looking straight ahead and with her eyes closed she put in the coordinates of where they were going.
" Ok we have the coordinates in the Navigation computer so we can jump to hyperspace whenever you ready." Nessie said as she sat back in her chair.
" So do you know where we are going?" Anakin asked as he looked over to her.
" Um . . . yes I do know, we are going to Tatooine." Nessie said with a smile on her face.
" Really." Anakin said in surprise and now he knew way she asked him to go with her.
" Yes Anakin I know what your dreams were about and that is why I asked for you to come with me." was all Nessie said as Anakin pulled the lever back and sent them into hyperspace.
Anakin and Nessie both sat back in their seats and started to meditate will they were speeding towards Tatooine.
