EPOV

I was sitting on the couch talking to Esme and my siblings since Carlisle had left for work shortly after I got home when I heard a door open and close. I looked around.

"Did you guys hear that?" I asked them. They looked at me like I was crazy.

"Did we hear what?" Alice asked. "The door." My siblings started laughing and Esme chuckled quietly.

"You're crazy." Emmett spit out in between fits of laughter. I growled suddenly I saw a blur go by me. The laughter stopped instantly.

"Carlisle?" Then I felt a gust of wind coming from behind me. I whirled around.

"Carlisle?" I was getting nervous now. There was another blur in front of me.

"Carlisle this isn't funny." I said. I heard a light chuckle.

"Oh, but it is." A voice said. I knew that voice. My knees suddenly got weak. I hadn't heard that voice in over 95 years.

"Bella?" I whispered. She stepped out of the shadows.

"Hello, Edward."

Bella POV

Edward stared at me like I was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. He seemed shocked. I quickly put my mental shield over the whole family as a silent prank to Edward.

"I thought you were dead." He said. His voice even more beautiful then I remembered.

"Nope. Just immortal." I smiled. His siblings chuckled.

"Who changed you?" I opened my mouth to tell him but Emmett interrupted.

"That should be a no-brainer. Who's the only vampire with a vendetta against her?" He said. Edward's eyes widened.

"Victoria?" I bit my lip and nodded. He started pacing the floor.

"Not possible. I left so that she wouldn't go after you. I thought that if I left she would leave you alone. Where is she? How did you get here?" He ranted. I was shocked at his confession. He left to protect me. I looked towards Alice.

"Alice. She found me at school and brought me here where we all conceived a plan." I told him.

EPOV

I was in shock. Bella was still alive after all these years of thinking her to be dead after living a long happy life. Not just alive but a vampire. Victoria changed her and I was going to kill myself just because I thought she had died young. I was thankful that something told me not to go through with it. I will never know what made me decide not to kill myself but I will be forever thankful for it. I tried to read Alice's mind to see what had happened when Bella saw everyone again but I couldn't. Come to think of it I couldn't read any of my family's mind, even Emmett's and his mind is never quiet.

Alice POV

"Why can't I read your minds?" Edward asked. I was stunned for a moment before I figured out what was going on. I smirked to myself.

"Seriously, why can't I read your minds?" He asked again. Looking at Edwards expression I couldn't help it anymore, I burst out laughing. He looked at me even more bewildered.

"Why can't I read your minds?" He asked again. At this, my siblings had joined me in my laughter. Even Esme was laughing.

"Ask her." I said pointing to Bella while laughing.

EPOV

My siblings were still laughing, so I shook my head and looked towards Bella for an answer. She chuckled before answering me.

"I'm a shield. Physical and mental." She finally answered me. My eyes widened in shock and I stumbled back a few feet. That was not what I expected.

"And Victoria?" I asked once I regained my composure.

"She's dead. I killed her." She said nonchalantly. I was not expecting that either.

"Bella, can we talk?"
