GUUUYS ! I'm back! I'm really sorry for the 3 months of hiatus. As an act of apology, I'll upload every chapter the moment I finished it. So please stay with me and enjoy reading! :D
Emi looked at the door and knocked on it. "It's me!" She shouted.
She waited for a few seconds till Suzuno slightly opened the door. She just looked at her in shy, embarrassment and curiosity.
Emi smiled. "I think you might need a company."
Suzuno fully opened the door and made a way for Emi to go inside.
Emi walked inside of Suzuno's room and sat in front of the table in the middle. Suzuno served her tea and she sat in front of her.
"So, what do you plan on doing now?" Emi started.
Suzuno didn't answer immediately rather, she didn't know the answer.
"I don't know." She simply responded.
"Oh, maybe I asked the wrong question. Why did you do that?" Emi asked.
"I don't know, I just want him to know that I'm not mad at him." She explained.
"So, what do you plan on doing now?" She asked her original question.
Suzuno bowed and think for an answer. She really can't find one.
"Emilia, what should I do?" Suzuno answered her question with a question.
Emi smiled, looking at her friend.
"So this is how first love works." She thought
"Maybe you should explain yourself to him, to them." Emi replied.
"I can't go back there now, after that. It's too embarrassing."
"Then, let's just cool down for a bit." Emi suggested.
"What do you mean?"
"Let's just take some time off and improve your appearance." Emi smiled at her.
"Oh, that's a good idea. Lucifer also said that he wants to see me in new kind of clothing." He excitedly said.
"See? Then let's make him fall for you even more." Emi proudly said.
Suzuno smiled and agreed to her but something is bugging her.
"Will it be alright? I mean, I will not see him for a while, right?" Suzuno asked.
"It's alright, it's just for 2 or 3 days. It's not like you have a rival, he doesn't even go outside." Emi assured her.
"Okay."
They concluded their conversation about Urushihara and started to talk about how to make her a better woman. Time passed as they keep on talking about how to make Suzuno prettier, cuter and more appealing. Emi looked at her watch and saw that it's already time for her to go to her job.
"Oh, it's already time for me to return to work."
"Huh, didn't you already go to work this morning?" Suzuno asked.
"I still have my night shift. Well then, I'll see you tomorrow!" Emi stood up
"Okay, have a safe trip!" Suzuno bid farewell as Emi walked out of the door.
Emi waved at her as she left.
It's already 7:30pm and Urushihara's still on his thoughts.
The door opened and Maou was standing there.
"I'm back!" He greeted.
"Welcome back, my lord." Ashiya greeted him back.
"Whoa, Urushihara's still on it?" Maou was shocked that it's already 7:30pm and Urushihara still hasn't woke up.
"Ah no, he came back earlier, around 4:30pm and I tried to talk to him about what happened. But the moment I said Suzuno's name, he started to think about things again." Ashiya replied.
"And he haven't woken up since then?"
"No, it's already been like 3 hours. And if you add the first time, it's already been like 5 or 6 hours." The dirty white haired man explained.
"Then, why didn't you wake him up?" Maou asked.
"Because you told me not to wake him up until he wakes up himself." The other guy defended.
"You know sometimes, you need to act by yourself when you know that you need to." The Dark Lord quoted.
"Anyways, let me wake him up." Maou smiled and took off his MgRonald uniform and pushed it on Urushihara's face.
"SUZUN-!" Urushihara shouted as he woke up but Maou cover his mouth.
"Hey, don't just shout like that, Suzuno's on the other room." Maou said.
"Huh, Maou?" The short guy said when he regained his consciousness.
"Hehehe. Welcome back, Urushihara." Maou grinned at him.
"How's your trip to the dreamland?" Ashiya teased him.
"Sh-shut up!" Urushihara looked on his left side to hide the growing blush on his face.
"Oh come on, you're blushing! How does it feel? To be kissed by your beloved?" Maou asked him teasingly.
"Wh-what are you talking about? Beloved?" The short guy tried to play dumb.
Ashiya worked back at their dinner as Maou changed back to his normal clothing. Urushihara crawled back at his computer to use it again. Maou sat on the floor.
"Umm.. so are you two finally .. umm .. like an official couple now?" Maou started
Urushihara's head bounced a little, he almost choked on his own saliva. But deep inside him, he wondered if they really are now.
"What are you saying? We're not!" Urushihara defended.
"Why is that? I mean, you already are lovey dovey earlier." Maou insisted.
"Lovey dovey? What is that? Where did you even learn those words?" Urushihara asked.
"Lovey dovey, you know, you guys already hugged and kissed. It's a quite popular word. It is used to describe a couple." Maou explained.
"But we're not a couple, so knock it off." Urushihara demanded.
"Well, you're going to admit it yourself anyways." Maou concluded the conversation.
Maou read his manga and Urushihara used his computer for a while. It's not long before Ashiya finished the dinner.
Ashiya prepared the table and put the foods on it. Maou and Ashiya are already ready to eat but Urushihara is still on his computer.
"Hey Urushihara, let's eat." Ashiya invited him.
"Nah, you guys go first, I'm not yet hungry." The lavender haired man refuses.
Maou thought of an idea how to make him eat.
"Oh, just like a certain beauty said, you shouldn't make your food wait and it's not good for your health." Maou said in a girly voice.
Urushihara was shocked. Those are the words that Suzuno said on lunch earlier. But he still didn't lift a finger.
"Or maybe you're still full because a certain beauty fed you earlier." Maou grinned.
Urushihara was starting to get pissed. "Grr.. what is he trying to accomplish?" But he remained on his computer.
And that's when Maou used his last resort.
"Oh, I get it Urushihara. You don't feel like eating by yourself." Maou stated.
"My lord?" Ashiya is starting to get confused.
"Then let me call Suzuno to feed you like earlier." Maou grinned again.
Urushihara's eye widen as he suddenly stood up and walked towards the table.
"Stop! Don't! I'm going to eat now." The short guy said as he sat on the table.
Maou laughed and Ashiya smiled as they started to eat. They talked about stuff and things as they eat and every time it's about what happen earlier, Urushihara tried to change the topic. They enjoyed the food even though it's far from the extravagant and fancy food they used to have back on their Glory Days. As long as they eat together, whatever kind of food is served, it will taste great. Urushihara is expecting someone, a certain beauty as Maou said it, to come but to his disappointment, the dinner ended and she didn't show up.
"When I want her to come, she didn't come. When I don't want her around, she'll just pop up out of nowhere." He said to himself.
The dinner ended and Ashiya took the plates and put it at the sink, preparing to wash the dishes. Maou got his manga and rested his back on the wooden floor as he started to read it. He would sometimes change position or laugh by himself. Urushihara returned to his computer and tried to use it. Ashiya eventually started to wash the dishes. Urushihara can't focus on using the computer because something is interfering with his thoughts. He gave up on using it and just decided shut it down. He stood up and went to the bathroom to take a piss and brush his teeth. He went to his Sugiya boxes to lie down. Maou noticed this.
"That's strange, Urushihara. You're not going to stay up late tonight using the computer?" Maou asked.
"I won't, for some reasons, I'm kind of tired. I'm going to sleep early." Urushihara replied.
Ashiya heard the conversation and joined it.
"Are you alright, Urushihara? Are you feeling sick?" They can hear the concern in Ashiya's voice as he asked.
"No, I'm fine. I'll just go to sleep." Urushihara responded.
"You sure? Do you want me to buy you some medicines?" Ashiya continued.
"No, I'm fine, really. Thanks for the concern." He said as he started to get inside the boxes.
"You can use my futon if you want." Maou recommended.
"No, I'm starting to get used here. And I can also think properly here." He explained.
"Okay." Maou and Ashiya looked at each other.
"So, love can really change people, huh?" Maou thought.
Urushihara is just lying there as he started to think about Suzuno and stuff.
"Just when I want to talk to her, she didn't show up. Maybe she's nervous or embarrassed. Alright, I'll talk to her tomorrow." Urushihara thought as he closed his eyes and started to sleep.
Suzuno is brushing her teeth thoroughly, and then she washed her face with soap and water. After she's done with her face, she went to her bed and lie down in there.
"Will this "beauty sleep" that Emilia said work? Well, you'll never know until you try." She said to herself.
"I want to see him. I want to hug him again. I want to kiss him again. I want to be with him. But I must bear with it. I must improve my appearance so that he will like me more. That's right, I'm doing this for him!" She thought as a smile grew on her face. She closed her eyes and slowly, her consciousness left her.
They both sleep with the other in their mind, resulting for them to have a dream about each other. They both want to see each other. The boy, who is filled with questions, wants to see the other sooner than later to get his desired answers. The girl has reasons for distancing herself for a while, but wants to be with him too.
A/N: So, guys that's chapter 6, it turns out different from what I had in mind but I'll save that for the later chapters. Is what Emi said about not having a rival true? Or there is someone there who will get between their relationship. Is distancing herself for a while for a better result a good choice? Or is Suzuno going to regret doing that? Stay tuned if you want to know the answers. Again, I'm really sorry for the hiatus.
