Hey guys welcome to this chapter, the chapter we first meet the ghost. So I hope you like it. Bye bye!

Narrator

Both Aria and Orland froze in their tracks with terror as a glowing young man who seemed to have been in his early twenties floated past them. "My darling, where are you?" He wailed to the night sky, the pain that he felt in his heart dripping off of every word he said. "My darling Catharina, my love whose beauty rivals that of the full moon, where are you?" The first person to come out of the trance of terror was Orland, who grabbed Aria by her shoulders and drove her to the ground so the ghost wouldn't see her.

It was once on the ground that Orland realized what an awkward situation he and Aria were in. She was under his body, his hands around her wrists and their faces only inches apart. Orland had never seen Aria's face from this position before. The moon made her silky skin glow magically while her large brown eyes sparkled like stars. If there were any moment in his life he would wish to freeze it would be this one. When they finally heard the ghost pass on Aria finally snapped out of it. "Um Orland?" she asked in a whisper.

"Y-yes Aria?"

"Y-your um on t-top of m-me, y-you're kind a p-pinning me d-down." She said her face bright red from embarrassment from both the closeness and of how much she actually like it. The feel of his touch and the body heat of which he radiated.

"Oh! I-I'm sorry… A-are you alright?" he asked placing a hand over his mouth and cheeks to hide the fact that he himself was as red as she was, before standing up and offering his other hand to her .

Aria nodded still a little sheepish from what happened, but when she finally took his hand and stood up she began to smile. "D-did you see that? That was a ghost! It's real!" she then turned around towards Orland and placed a finger on his chest. "I was right, which means you were wrong! Yes!" After that she ran out into the middle of the street and began to do a little dance while chanting "I was right, you were wrong!" over and over again.

After the fifth chant Orland became angry, there was only so much his pride could take. "Oh please that wasn't a ghost that could have been anything!" he said making her stop in her tracks.

"What do you mean?" she asked before walking straight up to him hands on hip. "What else could it have possible been?" she asked gritting her teeth.

"It could have been some pale traveler or luminescent swamp gas and of course it could have just been our imagination!" He said trying to convince himself more than Aria it seemed.

"Travelers and swamp gas? Are you kidding me?! That was a ghost and you know it Orland and now you're just trying to rationalize what just happened so your pride won't get hurt and you won't have to admit you were wrong!" She said before grabbing her backpack and wrapping her hand around his wrist.

"What are you doing?" Orland asked as Aria began to drag him off. Aria rolled her eyes quickening her pace.

"What does it look like? The ghost head out that way towards the dungeons, we got to follow it. We have to know why it's here. Plus if you see it again it's proof that it wasn't gas or anything like that." She said as both she and Orland ran towards the forest. What neither of them knew was that, that little trip was going to make their nights longer then they thought.
