And someone brought it to my attention that my stories don't have long chapters... I say... 'ok?'... Seriously tho, the stories that have 8k plus words in one chapter are truly amazing, but let's be frank, I was a reader long before I was a damn writer. I know and you know that if these things were like 16k words, you'd skip to till it gets good as most of it is really unnecessary to read. The amount of stuff you'll skip in those long chapters will narrow the word count down from 8k-16k to 2-3 or 4k. I'm not being a bitch by saying that, I am a reader, I know this. So, so what if I keep my chapters kinda short and interesting? I mean, as long as you enjoy it, if you don't enjoy it, then I will change up my writing game plan/style.
Let's get to it.
Naruto huffed as he stomped his feet.
Hinata walked beside him and Kyu, the two seemed to gravitate to Hinata unconsciously, she didn't say anything however. She liked the feeling of easiness it granted her being near Naruto.
His partner chuckled, she was actually surprised that they had something his size for him to wear, as the people they saw near and in the shop weren't exactly Naruto's size, it seemed Naruto will stand out even if he were naked due his height. Kyu knew she would stand out her self, but her appearance seemed to be less threatening, sure she had fox ears and weird eyes, whiskers, a tail.. But people seemed to look at her then looked on.
She'd expect more of a reaction, but then again she didn't think this place to be normal. The 'ninja' here have more power then the regular people, take their mate for instance, she had a power level stronger then her friends and they hadn't even consummated the mating bond yet.
But back to Naruto, his clothing. She usually shops for Naruto as she knew what he liked. He'd still like to be naked, yes, it's Naruto. So well, tough luck there. Kyu eyed him and smiled. She loved seeing him brood. She wondered what he would to her if she made him angry now, while looking him over with a smile.
She quite liked what she got him anyways, he was wearing bout the only thing they had his size. He had a red jacket on, under that he had a black shirt on, it was kind of a tight fit obviously. And she got him some black pants that obviously now were kind of tight. And for footwear, some small sandals were the only thing he could fit.
You could see where he would be mad, yes? Kurenai had said Konoha had better supply of clothing, she hoped the lady was right. The last thing Kyu wanted was her partner to be uncomfortable, at least for a prolonged period of time.
She herself got plain clothing.
"Naruto Kun." Kurenai said getting his attention... she got everyone's attention actually. "When we get there, you will have to weight a few as you will have to be inspected." She informed with a smile. She hoped she could still be around Naruto, she quite likes him now.
Said person just looked a head stomping his feet. 'Stupid clothing, stupid Kyu!' Was his thoughts, obviously he was still pissed at having to wear clothes. Uncomfortable clothes at that.
"We understand." Kyu spoke instead for him. She had half a mind to elbow him again, but she would just let him brood. She wondered if Hinata would lighten him up, but the girl seemed to be lost herself.
He'd get over it, anyway.
"Hmph, really Nara, you're suppose to be smart. Not stupid." A red head woman said. She was seated at a desk in a square office. She wore an orange jumpsuit with black stripes. A white trench coat hanging on the back of her chair, the trench coat on the back had the Kanji 'The Seventh Hokage.'
"What a pain, you know me Hokage Sama." A Nara with a spiky pony tail grumbled. He really was growing to old too fast, or that is what it felt like dealing with Hokage's anger on a daily basis.
"Ah, yes, that I do. Lazy, so you're saying I should have expected this?" The woman said, her piercing blues turning soft for a second, but she still frowned. "Shikamaru-
"Oh come on now Natsumi, you're been working for quite a bit, you can't take your frustration out on everyone." He said, not raising his voice, but talking with enough base to run his point home.
The woman sighed.
"Look Natsumi, I know you take this being Hokage serious." He started, he scratched the back of his neck. "But you are my friend, I hate seeing you stressed like this, no one has seen you outside this office since you got the job." He continued, his voice raising a bit.
"There was a lot to do." She shot back, that wasn't a lie. There had been a lot she had to do, kakashi was a bit of a lazy fucker on the job and stuff kind of piled and... she was making excuses. She knew better then anyone what excuses looked like.
"I know that, I am your assistant." He said softly. "But it's been a year now Natsumi, you could use a little break. You've done a fine job, everyone knows that, I'll gladly seat down on that desk and do the paperwork if it means you taking a vacation." He finished.
Natsumi bit her lip, She didn't want a vacation, but she also knew he was correct. She has been burnt out lately., but she didn't need a freaking weeks vacation, she wasn't tsunade. "I do-
"Hokage Sama." A Ninja suddenly appeared, he bowed.
"Hai" She answered, thankful for the distraction.
"Kurenai has returned with her team" The ninja said raising up, he nodded at Shikamaru.
"Good, send them to me for a report." She ordered, holding back a smile. She was glad to have them back, unharmed. Shikamaru frowned at the newly arrived Ninja, he'd very well continue his discussion with Natsumi, maybe Hinata will help him make the stubborn girl see reason. He'd get her to take a vacation one way or the other.
"Also, Hokage Sama." Natsumi and Shikamaru perked up at this, added news WERE never a good sign. "They have brought a guest, they said that their guest wished to speak with you." He finished.
Natsumi and Shikmaru sighed. If this messenger Ninja's voice weren't so serious sounding, maybe she might have been more relaxed. "Sure sure, I'll see them." She replied with a wave.
"Hai Hokage sama. I'll deliver them the news now." He said with a bow then disappeared.
Shikamaru crossed his arms. "I guess we'll finish our discussion later." He commented. He was rather intrigued to meet these guest, it wasn't uncommon for Ninja to bring people back to Konoha, but the mission that Kurenai and her team was on, it was uncommon there. Especially for them to want to talk to the Hokage. Quite new indeed.
"I guess we will." She hissed, rubbing her temple in annoyance.
In a forest just where Naruto and Kyu had arrived. A purple-ish gold worm hole closed. Two figures standing in front of it.
"This is the place." One of the figures said, it's voice female. "I can smell that delicious Incubus from here." She said, she licked one of her fangs.
"Calm down bloodsucker." The other figure ordered. It's voice also female. Though she would admit, the faint smell of that Incubus is enticing, she licked her lips, she'd definitely get a taste.
"Speak for yourself mutt" The 'bloodsucker' snapped, getting the girls intention, she scrunched her nose up in disgust.
"You better watch yourself, I might just rip your pale ass apart!" The other girl yelled.
"Whatever let's just find this guy, bring him back and be done with it." The pale girl said, now stomping off leaving her companion behind. She didn't add, also have our fun with him first, as she didn't want to share with a mutt.
"Trash." The other girl mumbled as she followed.
"What's taking them so long" Shikamaru groaned. They have been waiting for 15 minutes now on Kurenai's team and these guest of theirs. He was not impatient, but simply irritated. It shouldn't take so long.
"I wish I knew" Natsumi replied uninterested, continuing to check off documents. These things were never ending.
The Nara just looked at her with a frown, she was still the Natsumi he knew at least in appearance, just matured. The short spiky hair she used to have, she let it grow out. Her face while still soft showed a hardness a girl her age shouldn't have... Sure he admired her determination to fix the problems within the village, admired her willingness to work for it, admired the respect she had for the title of Hokage. But at the end of the end, she was his friend, and he protected his friends, even from themselves. He just needed help with Natsumi, but knew no one save Hinata that would at least try to get the girl to take a break.
The door flew open. First to step into the office was the new guest he supposed, he wasn't into the whole jealousy thing, and he was comfortable in his own sexuality so he could admit that this guy was a sight for sore eyes. Was this guy a model? Shikamaru watched as the man stopped abruptly. He grew confused as he witness the guy's eyes go wide.
"Again? I thought it only Happened once KYU!" The man bellowed.
Shikamaru blinked.. 'Huh?' His eyes flew to Natsumi, she was looking at the new arrival with wide eyes herself, there was an obvious blush on her cheeks, her mouth hung open, gaping at the new man.
"Well, uh this is new." The girl who he suspected is Kyu said as she looked out from behind the man. "Oh our new mate is cute." She said looking Natsumi over. Confused at words, he was even more confused at her appearance. Shikamaru's eyes went back to Natsumi, who was still in shock, he had never met someone who could strike the Uzumaki speechless, the Nara smirked.
'Looks like I found a new helper'

I will not be using OC's. I'd rather just use girls from other animes. So the two bickering women will be from other animes.
Naruto will have 3 mates, Natsumi, Hinata and another girl who hasn't been reveal yet.
Let me know what you guys think of the chapter. I'm comfortable in this writing style, but if you guys aren't enjoying it, I'll try and switch it, either with this story or a new one.
