A/N: Okay, first off let me say SORRY for this late late LATE update. Nursing school is hell. I'm proud of myself for finally updating. I've been giving all my attention to 'You, Me, Her, and It', my favorite story I've ever written. Then I realized the word count surpassed 'Succumb to Me'. Unacceptable!

IMPORTANT IMPORTANT IMPORTANT: This chapter was too long so I cut it in half. I moved the beginning of this chapter to the end of the last chapter. In order to avoid confusion, I suggest returning to chapter six. This is for my story followers.

Disclaimer: Still don't own Naruto or any of it's lovely characters.

Succumb to Me

Chapter Seven: Gaara

(Read my above author's note or you'll be confused about this scene!)

One Day Earlier

A very nosey Matsuri had her back against a wall and ear up high. She had just been about to turn a corner when she heard a rather volatile exchange.

"You think I'm using your brother like other girls have in the past, correct? And how dare you speak of him that way! Get out of my way. Gaara is waiting for me."

'Uh oh…' Matsuri bit her lip, she knew what was coming.

"One, do not disrespect my brother by addressing him by his first name, Two, I did not dismiss you. Learn your place, Leaf ambassador. You are a guest here and henceforth put on restriction until you leave this place. Guards!"

"What? You can't do this!"

Actually, he could. And the sound of feet being dragged across the floor was a clear indication of that. One thing especially stood out in Matsuri's mind, however.

"She defended Gaara-sama," Matsuri whispered to no one. The Suna girl quickly threw her hand over her mouth as the sound of brisk footsteps came down the hall. She knew right away who they belonged to. The Kazekage.

Gaara appeared to be talking to himself, "I knew it. I knew she wouldn't show. Damn you, Temari. You should have known no one in their right mind would go out with me."

The words hurt Matsuri deeply. Not just because he somewhat implied her and his other fangirls weren't in their right mind, but because she felt genuine sadness in them. True Gaara was accepted by his village and even called a hero by some, but Gaara still suffered with feelings of isolation and loneliness in his personal life. He could be surrounded by people who consider him a friend but still wouldn't truly be happy.

Love. His life lacked love. While she and several other girls did have crushes on him, Matsuri knew he would never take any of them seriously. That's why she decided with a strong determination…

"I won't let Kankuro-baka hurt Gaara anymore!"

Present Day

It was a few hours before the big event and Matsuri had all her friends gathered in her tiny room.

"So you all know the plan, right?" she spoke with a serious tone. A series of nods answered her.

"Matsuri-chan," Sari raised her hand to signal she wished to speak, "assuming we do somehow pull this off, I have no idea how you want me to make her party-ready in so little time. The ceremony starts at 7:00, you want to do this at 8:00, so that leaves–"

Yukata interrupted her, "Just shut up if you think you can't do it!" the raven-haired girl then addressed their makeshift leader, "I can dress and beautify her easily!"

"No," Matsuri disagreed, "You know what I need you to do." Seeing everyone in the room looked satisfied, Matsuri jumped up with a smile.

"Covert Operation: Fairy Godmother begins now!"

Tick, tick, tick, tick

The hour was 8:05 P.M. and Hinata could only watch sadly as time ticked away. The chuunin exam opening festival was underway right now. Partying, music, fun times, fireworks. Meanwhile, she was here with only a dead man trying his hardest to up her mood.

"So, that's when Naruto took a fish and slapped me right in the face in front of that beautiful lady," Jiraiya had been recounting many 'funny' stories regarding the blonde to his charge, "isn't that so inconsiderate?"

Hinata mustered up a weak smile, "Naruto-kun has always been a prankster," the smile faded, "I just wish I could see him again…"

Before Jiraiya could reply, loud noises suddenly boomed in a distance. Hinata immediately sat up.

"Is th-that coming from inside the estate?" she asked with alarm.

"Sure sounds like it," Jiraiya phased through the wall then briefly stuck his head back in, "I'll check it out."

Hinata used her byakugan and attempted to make out the situation. Four boys running through the corridors. No, only two boys. The other two moving objects were puppets.

'Is that…' before she could finish her mental question, she noticed a lone figure quickly making its way to her guestroom, not slowing down.

"Hiiiiiiya!" someone kicked down the door. Hinata couldn't believe who it was.

"MATSURI-SAN!" Hinata yelled.

"San? Really? Here I am rescuing you and I can't even get a –chan?" the brown haired girl looked peeved.

"Save it!" Ittetsu ran in next, "we gotta go, like, now!" The Suna genin grabbed both females by their arms and vacated the room.

BOOM, SKEEEE, WHOOSH!

Matsuri skidded on her heels, "I don't think we should go this way," she took lead of the trio and headed east.

"We have to rendezvous with Yaoki and Karobi! Are you just gonna abandon them and have them take the fall for pretty much attacking the Kazakage's estate?" Ittetsu looked pissed.

"No, baka!" Matsuri led them to a room and quickly shut the door before opening one of the windows, "they're not stupid. They'll know not to meet in the west wing. Besides, do you really think Gaara is gonna let anyone throw his 'best friends' in jail?"

"Ano…" Hinata finally spoke, byakugan activated, "guards are rushing this way, I think the other two already escaped."

"Yosh!" Matsuri exclaimed, "told you! Now let's bail." Matsuri was first out the window, then the Leaf-nin, then finally the sole male in the trio. Hinata had no idea what was going on but she sure as hell was glad to be out of that room.

Taking to the rooftops, the group stopped at a small house.

"Okay," Matsuri turned to Hinata, "Sari is inside waiting for you. Me and Ittetsu will keep going to throw the guards off your tracks."

"Why are you doing so much for me?"

"Girlie, this is all for the Kazekage!" Matsuri laughed at the other girl's confused face, "you two had a date tonight, right? We're getting you to that party for his sake!"

"But…Kankuro-san…"

"Yukata is taking care of him," Matsuri winked, "now go!"

Hinata stood in disbelief for another moment as the two shinobi quickly dispersed. The door to the small house opened and someone pulled her inside.

"What're you doin'?" Sari dragged the girl to her bedroom, "you must want to get caught."

Sari's room was adorned with lots of pink. The room was small but featured pink curtains, a lumpy looking bed with pink blankets, and an out-of-place green lamp on the floor. The Hyuuga mentally noted that the walls here were also dingy looking before Sari addressed her.

"Okay, I've only seen you, like, once, so bare with me on this," Sari pulled some white cloth out of her closet, "I somewhat started on this but it was hard without your exact measurements. So, how's about we just put this on you and I can make alterations quickly!"

Hinata's mind was still in 'what the hell' mode so she simply obliged without complaint as the younger girl pulled the cloth over her head and bunched it up here, tied it up there, stuck pins on this side ("ouch!") and worked scissors on the other side. Sari then began sewing up any loose areas to the point that the dress was nearly exact in every sense of the word.

"Ano…" Hinata watched in the mirror as Sari began adorning the newly created dress with sheer, glittery material towards the bottom, "I don't think I'll be able to take this off."

"Then just rip it off," the Suna-nin nonchalantly said, "I make most of my clothes from scraps anyway. I could make at least three tank tops, some socks, and a few hair bows from this."

Hinata caught a quick glance of the watch on the other girl's arm, 'it's already 9:10!' The Hyuuga bit her lip, refraining from rushing the kunoichi in any way.

"Oh, Hinata-chan, what big boobs you have!" Sari mockingly said as she began groping her companion from behind, eliciting a squeal of displeasure, "don't be so modest! Let's show off what you have."

Before the Hyuuga could protest, Sari already used her scissors to create a long slit through the front of the dress creating a drastic increase of cleavage.

"Why!?" Hinata grasped at the split sides of the bosom area and tried squeezing the cloth back together, "I'm going to a celebration, not a brothel!"

"Actually, kid," Jiraiya phased up through the floor, "I actually like this chick's style. She gets it! You gotta flaunt all your assets, baby!" The Sannin was grinning in a highly perverted manner, nothing strange there.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?" Hinata bellowed at her spirit guide, causing a disturbed Sari to jump out from her closest.

"Wha-What? I've only been in here for like ten seconds…" the girl looked extremely uncomfortable. Oh, great.

The chuunin giggled nervously, "o-oh, not you, Sari-chan. I-I um, looked in the mirror and couldn't help but wonder where this…sexy person in my reflection has been all this time" her nervous giggle turned in an awkward chuckle.

"Oookay," Sari walked over slowly, "well anyways, here are the finishing touches." The Suna-nin quickly sewed pearl embroidered silk along the recently cut cleavage area and also threaded lace through the material to tighten the front into a corset type look, breast still threatening to fall out, of course. Next she took a brush from her vanity and coerced Hinata into siting down in front the mirror, "you have beautiful hair, y'know? When Matsuri told me I'll be the one dressing you, this is what immediately came to mind."

Sari walked over to her dresser and pulled out a white flower that appeared to be made out of sheer material accented with pearls. She pulled some of Hinata's hair behind her ear and placed the flower clip there.

"There," Sari backed up from her creation, "you're all ready."

Hinata slowly rose from the chair and admired herself in awe. Sure she didn't have time to make her face perfect with cosmetics but the natural look added a certain charm, "Thank you so much. I have no idea how I could ever repay you for this."

"Don't worry about it!" Sari walked back towards her nightstand, unknowingly passing through the dead Jiraiya on her way, "don't forget this. It's a masquerade mask. No one will question it, a lot of people wear them to festivals here. Right now Gaara is in the center of the village in our ceremonial hall. All the big-wigs are there, a nice party for the elite while us commoners are out in streets celebrating."

"It sounds…exclusive," Hinata timidly said. She opened her mouth to add something else but was quickly stopped.

"Don't worry, don't worry. By now Matsuri should've gotten in contact with Temari-sama about getting you into that party! That girl will stop at nothing," the brunette smiled to herself at the thought of her best friend.

Jiraiya once again made himself noticeable with an obnoxious cough, "kid, do you have any idea what you're doing?" A titled head with a half smile answered his question.

The girl was absolutely winging it.

Sari and Hinata made their way to the center of the village, Hinata in her shimmery, white, makeshift sweet heart cut dress and Sari in a modest, beige skirt suit. Hinata thought it was a rather strange choice of wardrobe but chose not to question it.

"Halt," two jounin were guarding the entrance, "where is you–"

"Stand down," an agitated voice came from behind the men.

"Tem-chan!" Hinata smiled in overbearing excitement. The older kunoichi rushed over, clasped the younger girl's hands, and immediately gushed over her.

"You look so gorgeous!" Temari put her hands on the chuunin's shoulders and forced her to spin around, "damn, girl. Did you always have this figure?" The mini-reunion was cut short as Sari interrupted them.

"Temari-sama," the girl addressed her superior, "we have to hurry so Kazekage-sama can see Hina-chan. Preferably before Kankuro-baka sees her."

The blonde dutifully nodded, "Kankuro is still somewhere busy with Yukata. It shouldn't be a problem." Temari had turned around but quickly looked back at the girl, "why the hell are you wearing that?"

"Oh," Sari quickly took off her jacket revealing an extremely tight and ill-fitted crop top that matched her skirt, "I was only escorting the princess here. I never intended on going in there. The real party is outside!" And with that she took her leave.

With Sari gone, Temari guided Hinata into the surprisingly not dingy building. Hinata couldn't help but admire the way her senior's hips swayed in her kimono as she walked ahead of her. Unfortunately, she had to take her eyes off of the jounin's ass as she turned to speak.

"Okay, Hina-chan," Temari held onto the door handle leading to presumably the grand hall, "once I open this door, all eyes will probably be on you. Everyone else is already here so you'll just kinda be this mysterious figure. Especially with that mask."

Unbeknownst to the Suna-nin, a dead man suddenly appeared next to the leaf girl.

"Kid," Jiraiya had an expression of apathy, "I hope you know what you're about to get into."

Hinata looked down briefly but quickly lifted her head again. Now was not the time to drown in insecurities, "I'm completely ready. Tem-chan, open the door." The Sannin couldn't help but smile at his charge despite the circumstances. She's definitely grown, he had to give her that.

Gaara was not enjoying himself. His date bailed, too many people were talking to him, and none of his friends or fangirls were there. Actually, that was false. He did see Yukata earlier but she led Kankuro away somewhere, probably to 'mess around' in the restroom.

"Without a doubt…" The Kazekage whispered to himself.

"Did you say something, sir?" one of his guards inquired.

"Yes, actually," the red-head spoke but didn't elaborate. Naturally, the guard did not ask him to.

A sudden hushed silence overtook the room. Gaara was sitting at the head banquet table on the upper level of the grand hall so he couldn't see exactly what had caught the attention of all of his guests. With a sigh he stood and walked over to the staircase, unprepared for what finally came into his line of vision.

Hinata felt her face heat up was every eye in the room was literally fixated on her and Temari. She even noticed a few people removing masquerade masks to get a better look at her. If she wasn't mistaken, even the orchestra playing hit a few wrong notes as she made her entrance.

Lavender eyes quickly scanned the room. She recognized some faces, particularly a certain Hokage and her entourage, but she felt amazing relief once she confirmed Kankuro was not present in the current crowd. Slowly, people began to go about their business after the novelty of the newest arrival wore off. That is except one person.

Gaara was still at the top of the staircase, face now emotionless. He couldn't let his fellow kage or random diplomats see him standing here in awe!

"Baby brother," Temari ascended the staircase to meet her sibling, "I have a surprise for you."

"Does it have something to do with that girl down there?"

"Well aren't you the smart one," the jounin patted her brother on the back, "come on and I'll introduce you."

Gaara scoffed at his older sibling, "Still playing matchmaker?"

Without answering him, the blonde proceeded to descend the staircase, fully knowing her brother would follow. The moment the duo reached the floor, Gaara was bombarded with many "Hello, Kazekage-sama", "It's an honor to be here, Kazekage-sama", "Kazekage-sama, if you aren't busy I wish to discuss a new trade agreement". Naturally, Gaara either nodded or grunted at each.

"Ahem," the blonde jounin stood between Hinata and Gaara, "little brother, I present to you, your date." The young woman bowed with and arm outstretched. Hinata thought the whole gesture was over the top but hey, whatever floats her boat.

"Good evening, Kazekage-sama," Hinata dutifully bowed, "it is an honor to–"

"Remove your mask." Gaara demanded.

Hinata looked stunned at first but the quickly surveyed the room. She had no objections to remove her 'disguise' but she still had to be cautious.

"Hey, kid," her Ecchi Spirit Guide appeared before her, "Tsunade is practically wasted. Trust me, I don't think she'll notice you." He observed the slight nod of his charge's head.

Gaara watched carefully as the young woman in front of him revealed her identity.

"You," Gaara's face showed no change.

"Me?" Hinata smiled uneasily.

"You didn't show yesterday," the Kazekage's eyes narrowed only slightly.

"Oh…" how could she forget that whole incident so quickly? "I apologize. Something came up. Do you forgive me, Kazekage-sama?" Hinata bit her lip and put on her innocent face.

Gaara stared at the girl intently before looking behind the girl to see his sister nodding fiercely, "You're forgiven."

"Thank you, Kazekage-sama," the Hyuuga bowed once again.

"Call me Gaara," the young Kage held his arm out to his fashionably late date. The couple made their way to the center of the room before Hinata finally caught on. He intended to dance with her.

"Uh, wait," Hinata stopped in her tracks, slightly tugging on the man holding onto her, "may I put my mask back on?"

"No," he carefully observed her dejected and somewhat nervous expression, "you're the most beautiful woman here. I wish for everyone to see that."

Hinata blushed fiercely as the Kage shifted into a dancing position.

"Woah," Jiraiya made his presence known, "isn't he the charmer." The Sannin watched as his charge began to dance, completely enamored with the person staring into her eyes. Jiraiya immediately began seeing warning flags. Hinata was dangerously close to developing genuine feelings for this boy. The dead man had enough experience to know that much. If that were the case, it would be a disaster.

"My sister always intended for my first date to involve dancing," Gaara spoke softly, completely unaware of the dead man watching his every move.

"You're really good at it," Hinata still held a steady blush on her face with her heart beating out of her chest practically. While she could vaguely hear her spirit guide's warnings, she didn't pay much mind to them at all.

The dance floor had opened up as people backed away from the couple. This was a Kage dancing, after all. Once the song finished and the pair separated, the crowd gave them an applause. Hinata blushed at all the attention while Gaara simply held his hand out to her to follow him up the steps.

"Huh?" a very drunk Tsunade looked around the room, "why's everybody clapping?"

Shizune had a shocked look on her face. She definitely recognized Gaara's dance partner. One look at Shikaku and she realized he knew as well. The Konoha jounin commander answered her silent question.

"Let's not tell her," the man returned to his sake. Shizune still had a wide-eyed look on her face but agreed with the man's decision. She lowered herself in the seat next to the Hokage and fidgeted slightly. What. The. Hell.

Hinata and Gaara were sitting at his private table on the upper level. She was mildly surprised as her date instructed a server to bring them drinks and whatever was on the menu. For a first date, he didn't seem that inexperienced.

"Are you enjoying yourself?" Gaara looked at the chuunin inquisitively. Considering it was the first thing he said in over fifteen minutes, Hinata couldn't help but feel caught off guard.

"Uh…yes. Yes, of course," the Hyuuga gave a smile that was to die for. As a matter of fact, Gaara's heart did skip a beat, not that he gave any outward indication of that. The redhead turned his head and spotted someone familiar in the crowd.

"My brother has returned." Hinata immediately spit back into the drink she currently held at her lips, "What's wrong?"

"I-I-I-I," Hinata nervously chuckled, eyes shifting back and forth. Seeing her distress, Jiraiya poofed in front of her.

"Say you need some air!"

"I NEED SOME AIR!" Hinata shut her eyes and announced in a high-pitched voice. She could not let Kankuro see her. Under any circumstances, it would be a disaster.

Gaara looked mildly perplexed before standing and offering a hand to his date. The couple made their way out to a balcony. Going down the steps to exit the building was way too risky. Seeing her general unease, Gaara began to feel like maybe it was because of him. He wouldn't be surprised.

"Hina-chan," Gaara said to get the girl's attention. She slightly stiffened at the affectionate name Temari bestowed upon her and introduced the Kage to, "There's something I want to give you." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box, opening it then extending it to his date.

Hinata peered at the item curiously before gasping. It was a silver necklace with a diamond heart pendant in the shape of Sunagakure's symbol. She looked up at the male, "I can't accept this! It looks too expensive!"

With a sigh, Gaara removed the jewelry from its fancy container and maneuvered his way behind his date. Hinata held her breath as she felt him moving her hair out the way and clasping the silver item behind her neck. She naturally blushed under his touch. It seems a part of her will always be innocent despite everything.

Gaara lightly grabbed the girl by her shoulders and turned her to face him, "It's beautiful."

"It is…" Hinata looked down, admiring the way the piece nestled itself in her cleavage.

The two shinobi stood facing each other for what felt like forever. Hinata continued to feel heat in her face as she looked away from the male.

'I don't even know what to do next,' Hinata bit her lip. She hit a standstill.

"Kid!" Jiraiya came phasing through the wall in a panic, "crazy town is in there looking for his brother! Someone told him Gaara is with a bodacious babe."

"At least they called me bodacious…" the Leaf-nin mumbled under her breath before addressing the semi-confused Kage, "Gaara-kun, is there somewhere more private we can go?"

"If you insist," he wasn't going to complain about ditching the 'party'. He raised his left hand and Hinata squinted her eyes as sand began twirling around them, ultimately lifting them from the ground. Gaara wrapped an arm around his date as the two took off on a sand cloud.

Jiraiya watched the couple depart in silence, "Well if that wasn't just the most romantic thing I've ever seen." The Sannin continued to stare before dissipating. He would check in on his charge later.

Hinata, now sitting on the flying sand, had one wrist covering her eyes. She didn't exactly want to go blind tonight.

"Don't close your eyes," Gaara spoke as he grabbed the girls arm and lowered it, "you'll miss it."

"Miss it?" Hinata asked curiously before seeing bright light in her peripheral. The girl gaped in amazement as the sky was filled with fireworks. It was beautiful! And up here above the village, she had the best view!

Gaara watched the girl closely, taking in every gasp and smile. The fact he knew he was the one make to make her go through such emotions made him feel something indescribable. He used to take pleasure in seeing people around him suffer back when he was sadistic and misunderstood. But now everything is different. He has this chance to make someone happy.

Feeling eyes on her, Hinata curiously turned to face her admirer before smiling at him.

"This is amazing," she said truthfully, "thank you, Gaara-kun."

Instead of replying, Gaara simply turned to face the still continuing display of lights.

'If Jiraiya-sama were here, he would be pressing me to kiss him or something,' Hinata looked pensive. The night hasn't been a disaster so far (not counting her getting sprung outta prison) but she was unsure if that would be safe to attempt yet.

Her musing was cut short as their sand took off once again, this time with an unknown destination.

"Oi!" Sari was in the middle of a throng of people, accompanied by Yaoki and Karobi who were now wearing hoods because of their recent criminal activity, "is that Kazekage-sama? Up there! In the sky!"

Karobi looked up before laughing, "Yes! That's him!"

"I guess what we did wasn't in vain after all," Yaoki smiled as the trio continued to watch the flying carpet made of sand pass above them.

Sari kicked Karobi in his shin, causing him to crumple over, before hopping on his back to get above the crowd, "Hiiiina-chaaaaan! Have fuuuuunnnn!"

"Hm?" the indigo-haired girl moved to glance down at the world below them but immediately stopped once she realized how high up they were.

Within five minutes, the duo arrived at their supposed destination. Hinata was impressed as the sand formed steps for her to descend as she held her date's hand.

"Where are we?" she asked as she took in the landscape. They were basically in the middle of the desert, the only structure around being a small shack looking place. Her companion didn't answer, instead simply leading them into the small place.

"I use to come here a lot as a child," Gaara spoke in a nostalgic voice, as if not even truly addressing his date, "I'm sure you've heard rumors of my troubled past." He turned his whole body towards Hinata, who was shivering slightly. Who knew deserts could get pretty cold at night. The cramped space they were in definitely didn't help her chills.

"Um…" she sincerely didn't know how to reply to the Kage. She'd been at a loss for words most of the night anyway so she did the usual: looked towards her spirit guide who she knew would be popping in at any moment.

Jiraiya was hovering outside of the only window of the shady place but could feel Hinata pleading for his help, "Change the topic, kid. Trust me, that isn't something you want to get into. Especially tonight." Hinata could tell he was somewhat on edge.

"Gaara," she had to remind herself to drop any formality, "even though we don't know each other v-very well, I still feel as if I'm….close to you," Hinata felt a hot blush on her face as she looked down and absently rubbed her arm.

The former jinchuuriki stared at his date intently before speaking, "Can you truly say these things, Hinata?" the chuunin still had heart palpitations every time Gaara spoke her name, "It's true we've 'wined and dined' tonight as my sister intended, circumstances set aside, but does something so simple lead you to believe you're close to me?"

Jiraiya groaned outside the window, "Talk about some philosophical nonsense," he phased half his body through the window into the room, "Look here, princess. The less talking the better. Put your tatas on him and get this over with!"

Blush still in full force, Hinata narrowed her eyes in slight annoyance. She hated being rushed. This was her show. The ghost following her around is only a spectator.

With a deep breath, Hinata walked towards Gaara grabbed both of his hands in hers, not missing the fact the male hasn't blinked at all since his last statement, "Gaara, even though you may not believe my words, perhaps I can show you," she leaned in and gave the red head a slight peck on the lips. It was now or never.

"You kissed me." Gaara bluntly said, stating the obvious causing the nearby Sannin to facepalm so hard he could've given himself a black eye.

"Y-yes, I did…did you like it?" Hinata gave him her signature look, innocence with a touch of sultry.

Dropping her hands, Gaara placed a hand on the female's cheek, "I did." He then moved his hand downward to rub his thumb over her diamond Sunagakure pendant.

What could be interpreted as a sweet moment from the outside actually felt like an eternity of awkward tension to the Hyuuga. She had no idea what to do. Her date was as hard to read as ever. Did he want her to kiss him again?

'Only one way to find out', Hinata grabbed both sides of his face and forced a deeper kiss onto his locked jaw. Seemingly deciding to go along with it, Gaara slightly parted his lips but did nothing more to contribute to the act. Hinata couldn't help but muse on the fact Gaara is so beyond inexperienced while his jerk brother is practically a sex god.

Maybe now isn't the time for comparisons.

Hinata was then caught off guard by what happened next. Gaara actually grabbed her and hugged her tight as they continued to make out. The chuunin suddenly realized that the man before her had been deprived of intimacy nearly his entire life. Perhaps that is why his reciprocation is suddenly very…intense. She then pulled away and looked him in the eyes.

"I'm only here for one more night," the kunoichi leaned forward to whisper her next phrase, "how far are you willing to go?"

Still with no emotion, the Kage's response was immediate, "Love."

The Hyuuga could've sworn the entire world just crashed down around her. Or maybe that was just the sound of her spirit guide's jaw hitting the floor.

"Abort, kid!" Jiraiya flew towards the couple, though only one could see him, "this is going too far! This isn't part of the plan! Sex is all you need to absorb his excess life force! Dabbling in love will end in disaster!" The ghostly apparition was basically pleading with his charge. However, one look into her eyes and he knew:

The heiress has decided to heal a heart that's been eternally broken.

This was bad, very bad. Jiraiya felt powerless. The girl was even stuttering!

"Ga-Gaara," Hinata blushed as she smiled softly, "you're an amazing person and you deserve all the love in the world. Please, let me give it to you." Her body once again melting into his, the couple continued their makeout session, though much more romantic this time.

Gaara allowed Hinata to pull him down towards the dingy mat on the floor. The heiress imagined this is where he spent many nights of his childhood alone. The mere thought made her feel so sorrowful for the man with her. Determined to overpower those memories, Hinata continued with gentle kisses. After kissing for another three minutes, the heiress realized she couldn't go any further simply because her dress was very restraining.

Seeing the uncomfortable look on her face, the redhead male pushed her away slightly before speaking, "Did I do something incorrect?"

"No!" Hinata squeaked out, "it's just…Sari-chan practically sewed this dress to my skin. I need help getting it…off." She ended the sentence with a tone laced with extreme innocence. Should she have gone for sexy? No use thinking about it now.

Gaara traced his fingers along her shoulders and down her arms before bringing his hand back up and…

'RRRREEERP'

Hinata gawked at her now ripped bosom. Unfastening the corset-like top portion of her dress would've taken, at most, three minutes. But tearing was also effective.

Seeing her gaping expression, Gaara asked her another question, "did that displease you?"

"Of course not!" Hinata laughed nervously as she waved her hands in front of her. The redhead made her feel extremely awkward but at the same time… "Let's keep going, Gaara-kun."

The Kazekage grabbed her face once more. Since he was so inexperienced, Hinata knew she would have to lead the endeavor. She guided his hands to explore other parts of her body, purposely making sounds of pleasure over certain areas to give him an idea of what to do.

"Princess," Jiraiya was literally an inch away from the kissing couple, "I hate to be the bearer of bad news but this love story will be a tragedy come morning. So get to the point, Juliet."

Hinata smiled as Gaara bit her lip. Normally she would do something to signal her spirit guide to exit but this time she chose to keep him around just so he can see her ignoring him. Next, she pushed Gaara onto his back and climbed on top of him, continuing the kissing as she felt Gaara's hands exploring on their own.

Hinata sat up briefly and removed the sheer flower from her head, allowing that side of her hair to finally cascade down and complement her skin. Her breasts were completely exposed by now but she felt no embarrassment, perhaps because her current partner didn't gawk at them.

Said partner didn't complain as the indigo-haired girl attempted to disrobe him. He didn't know the first thing about any of this but he knew enough to know they shouldn't be clothed.

After seeing the female on top of him shiver slightly, Gaara motioned for her to move then stood up to retrieve a blanket just large enough to cover the both of them. Hinata stood as he threw the blanket on the mat on the floor.

"You really want to do this…with me?" Gaara stared at the female in front of him.

Hinata was holding her breasts but then chose to drop her arms and make a light shrugging motion, "I don't see why I wouldn't."

The duo stood in front of each other for at least a full minute, both fully naked. Hinata did her best not to lower her eyes too much as looking at a guy's package still overwhelmed her a bit. After scanning the room, she then realized her dead Sannin finally vanished. Gaara's naked glory must have proved too much for him to handle.

The pair made their way back to the bed, this time with Gaara choosing the top. He stared into lavender eyes for the better part of a full minute before the owner of those eyes addressed him.

"Gaara," her voice was soft, "I'm ready." Hinata stared at the hesitant look on her partner's face. He was unsure. Not unsure about if he wanted to or not, just unsure about how to do it, probably.

"Gaara," she said his name again, still softly, "make me yours."

With that final prompt, Gaara shoved himself into the young woman below him, earning a gasp, "did I hurt you?"

"That's normal," Hinata assured him, voice still holding a hint of pain.

The redhead then began to do what felt natural to him, moving in and out of her at a steady pace. His breathing became raspy as he relished in the sounds of her moans. She was now noticeably much wetter than she had been when they first began.

Hinata gripped the male's back as hard as she could without leaving any scratches. No need for the male to wake up with bruises or worse, his sand attack her for harming him. Her silent musing was cut short as Gaara suddenly began to suck on her neck. Now she was the one who needed to worry about waking up with bodily evidence.

"That feels…so good," Hinata acknowledged the pleasure to further encourage her partner. In response, he began to thrust slightly harder. The Hyuuga had to admit she was turned on by her own bouncing boobs.

"Hinata," Gaara once again pulled her out of her thoughts, "this is amazing."

Hinata grinned as she whispered in his ear, "it can get even better."

With fluid motions, Hinata flipped positions with the Kage and climbed on top, placing herself on his member. She couldn't help but feel satisfaction at the sound of his gasp as she slid down onto him. What initially started with Hinata slightly rocking back and forth soon turned into Gaara grabbing her hips and forcing her up and down on him.

"Ga-Gaara," she choked out between pants, "you're trying to make me scream!"

"Then scream," he said bluntly before sitting up and pushing his mouth against hers, effectively cutting off her sounds of pleasure. In the midst of their kissing, the male's hard cock slid out of her. He reached to stick it back in only to be stopped.

"Wait," Hinata had grabbed his hand, "let me do something." The Hyuuga smiled at his curious face then moved downward, gripping his member in her hand before flicking the tip of it with her tongue. Oral still wasn't her greatest skill but she wanted him to feel as good as possible.

"Uuughhh," Gaara groaned in pleasure and reached to place his hand on top of his partner's bobbing head. The gesture was completely on instinct.

"Do you like that?" Hinata asked in her innocent voice. In lieu of a verbal response, the male unexpectedly exploded in the girl's mouth, surprising her beyond words.

With a mouthful of cum, Hinata jerked upward and placed her hand over her lips. Her natural reflex was to spit it right back where it came from but if reading Icha Icha taught her anything…

It taught her that spitters are quitters.

Hinata gulped down the load then licked her lips for added emphasis. Gaara was breathing heavily as the kunoichi continued to make eye contact with him from above. Suddenly feeling extremely drowsy, Gaara closed his eyes and tried to steady his breathing. As she watched this, Hinata suddenly grew fearful.

"I, uh…" she stumbled for words as she scrambled to wrap the blanket around herself, leaving her partner exposed, "I need air!"

Hinata walked out of the small shack and summoned her spirit guide.

"I know you're here," she forcible whispered.

"Here," Jiraiya materialized, "but definitely not in there."

"He orgasmed," she went straight to point. Before the dead man could appear too excited, she quickly elaborated, "in my mouth."

The Sannin's jaw dropped, "Did I miss something? Since when were you that good?"

Hinata gripped the blanket with one hand and put her other hand on her hip, "I'm offended."

"Yeah, yeah," the spirit brushed off her angsty attitude, "so what are you going to do now, kid? Leave it at that or go for round two?"

"Ano…" Hinata's confidence slowly slipped away, "I'm not sure. That's why I called you. I do feel…stronger. So I know I did manage to get some life force."

"Round two could get you more," the man held up two fingers and put on a lecherous smirk.

The Hyuuga contemplated her Ecchi Spirit Guide's words carefully before something else came to mind, "what if we do it again and he doesn't orgasm? Isn't it more difficult the second time? If he doesn't, then he would remember it. That's a huge risk."

The Sannin frowned and crossed his arms, "that is true. It would definitely take longer but it isn't impossible. I have unwavering belief in you, if that's what you wanna hear."

"Thank you, Jiraiya-sama," the chuunin sincerely thanked her guide. She would never have come this far without him, after all.

Feeling his duty was complete for the night, Jiraiya dissipated without a farewell. After his departure, Hinata took a deep breath and reentered the small, desert-style tree house.

"Gaara?" she whispered as she lowered herself onto the mat. The young man was sound asleep, mouth slightly open and a peaceful look on his face. The young woman covered his still nude body with the blanket around her, leaving herself exposed now.

'So much for round two,' Hinata smiled down at the male. There was definitely a connection between them. He may not remember it by morning, but she will. That's enough for this moment to be immortalized forever.

Standing up, Hinata knew she couldn't risk being here when the man woke up. The only problem is she doesn't know where the hell they are.

Hinata searched for clothing, quickly settling on a raggedy looking t-shirt and some baggy pants. He probably won't notice the missing articles of clothing and her dress was destroyed anyway. With one final look at the red-head, Hinata collected the pieces of her gown and took her leave, heading for the lights in the distance. Trekking through sand sucked but she was shinobi, she could handle it.

The next morning, Gaara woke up in a daze. His head was foggy and he was…nude. He quickly took in his surroundings and realized he was in his hideaway. That wasn't too much of a shock.

"That sake must have been stronger than I thought," he mumbled to himself, still unable to clear his head of the fog. He remembered last night but then he didn't. He remembered the ball but not exactly how he ended up here.

And, he remembered his date…but only barely.

"At least she showed up," he mumbled some more as he dressed himself. He internally wondered where she ended up going after he left the party without her. That musing, however, was interrupted when he felt himself step on something semi-sharp.

With slight hesitation, the Kazekage lifted the item and brought it closer to his face. It was a hair clip. A white, sheer flower hair clip adorning with pearls. It looked so familiar. He examined the item some more before realization hit him.

'Hinata…'

Flashes of an intimate scene passed before him. He dreamt about the Hyuuga heiress last night, and it was one of those dreams.

The male quickly dispersed the thought from his mind. A Kage had no time for fantasies. He then took his leave and made his way back to his real home.

Hinata and Shikamaru stood at the gates of Suna with Temari the very next morning. Hinata never even had an opportunity to see the Kazekage again after the previous night's affair.

"I'm so going to miss you guys," the blonde-haired girl admitted.

"Tch," Shikamaru scratched the back of his head, "don't be so sentimental." The male then smirked at the older girl's look of understanding.

"So, Hina-chan," the jounin turned to the other girl, "was my brother a great lay or what?"

Hinata blushed and suddenly found her hands extremely interesting.

"C'mon, Temari, don't harass my fellow ambassador," Shikamaru lazily swung an arm around Hinata, "I'm sure she doesn't want to think about it, right?"

"H-Hai," Hinata agreed, still blushing, "but…can we all agree on one thing?"

"Ohhh yeah…"

"I already know."

"What happens in Suna stays in Suna," the three collectively declared together before laughing and saying their final farewell.

The two Konoha ambassadors walked some way quietly before Shikamaru finally broke the silence.

"Nice necklace," the Nara commented.

"Oh…" She had completely forgotten about the item around her neck she now caressed her thumb over, "I like it, Shi-kun."

Shikamaru looked at her some more before turning away with a smile, "you're bold enough to walk into Konoha with a diamond encrusted Suna symbol piece of jewelry. You surprise me."

Hinata smiled at the hidden compliment as the two continued their journey. She knew that once they crossed the border into Fire Country, their newfound friendship would have to disappear. She'll miss being close to him but she knew it was the smart thing to do. Shi-kun would once again have to be Shikamaru-san. Hinata smiled slightly at the thought of her village. She couldn't help but wonder who Jiraiya would pick as her next 'target'.

Even though her close relationship with the Nara was now over, she was still happy she had her new friends back in Suna. Matsuri forced the whole gang to see her off before she arrived at the gates. The girl promised to write and she definitely would.

Sari asked the whereabouts of her flower hairclip but honestly, Hinata didn't know what happened to it. It must have fallen somewhere during her trek through the desert.

Unbeknownst to any of the bunch, The Kazekage was now sitting at his desk shifting through paperwork with that very hairclip sitting delicately next to his favorite coffee mug.

End Chapter Seven

A/N: I know a lot of you are probably surprised to see me back after an entire year hehehe but seriously, this chapter has been written for so long. I just never fully edited it. Every time I tried to edit it, I ended up completely rewriting it.

I hope the smut wasn't too disappointing. It couldn't be over the top though considering Gaara's character. Hope you guys understand.

Please review! It's been so long :)
