Author's Note: And The second half as promised, I would also like to take the opportunity to remind all of you that I would like to see reviews, if for no other reason then to get some insight into how my work can be improved.

A low, not too subtle growl echoed through the stomach cavity of the massive, titanic resident/circle of hell known simply as the Leviathan. The source a group of a massive three headed dogs known far and wide as Hell Hounds, the end result of souls, desperate for sustenance, cannibalizing and consuming one another. Mutating and twisting into horrid abominations so terrible that they are not spoken of in polite company. Their targets were a group consisting of four devils, the leaders of the so-called 'New Satan Rebellion.' One reaper, the latest to take up the mantle of the Grim Reaper, and a traitorous Hell Hound, who had allied themselves with the group. The Hell hounds were the ones to start things off, leaping at the group with fire coming from their mouths. Courage countered with ecto grenades propelled forward with Ghostly Howls resulting in fiery mortar shots, which did enough damage to scare the dogs away.

"Hm. Interesting." Junior crouched down to give the three heads a scratch on their ears, using Harror as a make shift third arm.

"Our friend here appears to be a ghost of some sort. Very strange. His semblance appears to be fire as well."

"Semblance?" Junior asked having moved on to belly rubs.

"The manifestation of a soul's power, it's very common with ghosts, it usually reflects how they lived and how they died." Ajuka explained, his finger finding preoccupation with his chin.

"They're powerful..."

"Not to mention cute! Aren't you! Who's a good dog?" Serafall said interrupting SirZech as she slathered attention onto the three heads.

"It's a shame we can't bring them with us, but they wouldn't do very well outside of the third circle." SirZech said with bitter disappointment, but spotting the hole in the distant shore that indicated where they needed to go. "You're soul fragment is likely further down the digestion track than this. We should probably head that way."

"Would probably be easier if we could just turn this big snake into a Devil Arm." Junior commented lazily.

"That would probably be the worst thing that you could do. We're inside the thing, we'd end up being trapped in the Devil Arm with him!" SirZech scolded angrily.

The chain hanging from Junior's shoulder blade straightened out and pointed over to the distant hole, indicating that SirZech's assessment had been accurate.

"Great, what are we gonna do about the hell lord then?" Junior asked as he got up.

"I would recommend that we plant a few of these somewhere important." SirZech said popping a grenade out of Minos. "Then when we're all the heck out of dodge we can blow this puppy up and call it a day."

"Sounds like a plan to me. So how are we gonna get over there anyway?" Junior asked peering over the horizon.

Suddenly the sounds of a growling stomach could be heard as another shit ball fell out of Leviathan's throat and landed with a loud and sickening splat on the 'ground.'

"Ask and ye shall receive. Hey Junior can you I don't know Necromance that stuff into a boat?" SirZech asked indicating the newly arrived ball of shit.

"'Necromance?' Really?" Junior asked feeling as if he was being mocked.

Junior none the less made use of the blood and shit to create a make shift boat, and with that the group began paddling across the acid ocean that was Leviathan's stomach.

"Careful guys, you're all about to get the crash biology course of a life time!" Ajuka shouted over the raging of acid falls. "We're heading towards some under-acid sections, Junior we're gonna need your necromancy to keep us in one piece, Serafall we'll need your liquid control to keep the acid off of us!"

"I thought you said that this stuff cancels out it's own damage with healing properties!?" Junior asked, having shout over the raging torrent of acid.

"Yes but it would also be very difficult to look for the soul fragment with acid in our eyes!" Ajuka shouted back.

On that cheery thought the group began being sucked under water, with Serafall forming a bubble of air to protect them and provide air to breath while under the acid.

After having been attacked four separate times all at once the members of the Yokai Newspaper club decided that it was time to get to the bottom of these strange events. Sadly thanks to Ivan scooping him up Saizou would not be available for Questioning, nor would the two members of the group targeting them be available until they were conscious again. That just left the dinosaur creature which was being looked over by the school's resident necromancer Nurse Cut-Lip for any available clues.

"So what have you found out?" Chi asked the nurse, sitting atop a bar-stool as she finally had her long awaited meals for the noon hour break.

"Chi darling, for an aspiring Asian styled necromancer, you're not very good at this." Nurse Cut-lip threw the Jiang-Shi tag that she had collected from the creature onto the table. "Now would you try to explain to the rest of the class what that is for?" Cut-lip asked indicating the nearby news paper club members seated at the nearest cafeteria table.

"'A Jiang-shi tag is a slip of parchment paper inked with the blood of a necromancer extracted directly from the heart and therefore infused with the power of their soul. This energy, combined with additional energy gathered, either naturally or unnaturally, allows the corpse to be reanimated and connects the corpse directly to their master thus creating a loyal servant corpse.' Happy?" Chi monologue in a dull voice drained of enthusiasm, implying that she had been made extremely bored just by recalling the lecture.

"Excellent. Did you know that a reaper, as they typically lack both a heart and blood instead writes out their unique 'soul name' onto the parchment in the blood of their victims in order to create the same master servant relationship?" The nurse said, crossing her arms in annoyance.

"Missed that chapter. Make you're point already you batty woman!"

"This is the tag of the beast that attacked you and Mimi earlier today..." Cut-lip pointed a finger at the symbol on the tag, a half star looking thing "and this is Django's tag taken from one of his other Jiang-shi!" Cut-lip finished throwing a second tag on the table, a hook with what looked like a spiral around it served as the symbol.

"Not even closely similar. So any idea who's trying to kill us this week?" Kurumu asked as she sipped from her soda.

"Assuming that it's a reaper a detailed record of all the Reaper soul marks are kept in the Grim Family personal library in the restricted section. I will easily be able to peruse the database in search of this symbol's match." Cut-lip responded getting up from her seat. "I will be off to investigate the matter personally."

"Is that wise? The fact that you monitor this place keeps the death toll down by a significant margin." Mizore asked, eating a bowl of fries.

"That won't be a problem I assure you dear. Now I have to go get a few things for my trip, please direct all the questions or medicinal needs you have to Mako." Cut-lip said, waving goodbye as she walked through the front door.

"Great, so what do we do if any of us need to get patched up: ask Chi for help?" Mizore asked in annoyed tone of voice.

"I can hear you!" A angry Chi took a large bite of her burger while she mumbled to herself. "Excuse me for not being Mr. Fancy Pants High and Mighty All Powerful Reaper King!"

"Right. Well I got my healing magic, and my new pumped up wand if we need anything." Yukari explained as she pondered the best way to eat a large burger.

"Thank goodness for small miracles. The rehearsal is gonna have to wait guys: while Cut-Lip is chasing lizards we need to chase leads." Gin brought out a folder containing the collective information he was able to gather concerning the three individuals they knew were involved. "Some of us have already been introduced to Saizou Komiya, but his new healing factor is troubling to say the least. Four eyes is named Moroko Matsumodo and Beans for brains is Johnathan Taylor. Minnie, Moka you'll figure out what kind of shit Saizou has been getting himself into. Mizore you're with me, we're checking out Johnny boy. Yukari, Kurumu you got four eyes. Chi, Mimi head down to the infirmary and check on our patients and see what info you can dig up from them." The group's silence mocked the so-called leader of the group. "Well does anybody else have a better idea!?"

The girls all looked at each other and silently confirmed that it was the bet course of action, though they would never allow Gin to know that.

"Later, we got other stuff to do first." Mizore said speaking for the group, only briefly parting her lips from her straw.

"High and Mighty indeed." Gin quoted, hanging his head in shame at how rarely his club listened to him.

The space inside of the group's makeshift submarine was cramped to say the least. It needed to be durable enough to withstand the beating of being pumped through the intestinal track of a giant demon after all. The space was seemingly made even smaller by the constant jostling around that the group received. Pushing them into one another's personal space, and the smell of crap was overwhelming to the point that many of them feared that not even a dip in the intestinal acid outside would rid them of it. Not to mention the fact that it occupied every ounce of breathable air. When the jostling finally stopped Junior punched open a hole into the wide open, revealing that the group had arrived in a part of the body with semi-breathable air.

"Ugh what is this place!?" Junior asked looking around the area.

"Looks like the large intestine to me." Ajuka responded, spotting Junior looking at him as if he wanted him to explain. "The last stop in the digestion track before being crapped out of here." Ajuka explained as he stopped out of the smelly coffin.

"Ugh. I'd rather not go through that if it's all the same with you guys." Serafall said stepping out of the submarine.

"Agreed." SirZech said following the two previous devils out. "You coming Falbium!?" SirZech shouted back into the one Devil who had yet to exit the cocoon like vessel.

"I'm good, and in no hurry, I'll catch up to you lot later." Falbium shouted back, lazing about the makeshift ship now that he had the room to do so.

"Oi Falbium don't be so lazy! If you are in here when we kill this thing then you'll be killed too!" Serafall angrily reminded the lazy devil and shaking her fist.

"I'll be fine, just go and do your part guys." Falbium said waving his hand.

Courage was the last one to get out, Serafall bending down to scratch the dog on their heads.

"You're a much better team-mate than that lazy bum Falbium aren't you? Yes you are! Yes you are!" Serafall said talking to the dogs as if they were a infant, which technically they were, prompting a happy bark from the heads.

The Junior's chain straightened out again, pointing in a particularly unfavorable direction.

"No one said this job was pretty." Junior said, before his chain suddenly turned directions else where. "Or straight forward."

"What do we have here?" A slightly crazed version of a voice the group already knew asked, the chain now wildly going about the room. "It has my voice but it's not me. Interesting."

"Guys, isn't that Junior's voice?" A nervous Serafall asked, arming herself with a serpent of acid from the nearby pool.

"That it is. Junior is there something you're not telling us?" SirZech said popping Minos in preparation for a fight.

"Junior, is that it's name? Is that my name?" The chain continued to flail wildly around the room, indicating that the soul fragment in question was also rapidly moving around the room. "If I eat you do I become you? But you're so skinny! Maybe I should eat the others too?" The clearly insane soul fragment pondered aloud.

"Oh for the love of! Just come..." Junior was suddenly cutoff by an emancipated figure jumped down from above and tackled him, Junior soon discovered that he seemed to sweating acid, which made the next move kind of redundant "Serafall wait!" Junior said unheard as Serafall splashed them both with acid, the unstable creature of gluttony easily shaking it off.

The insane demon dragged Junior over to a fleshy wall and began sinking into it. Thinking fast SirZech fired a golf ball sized chunk of destructive energy at the demon blowing it and Junior apart, only to discover the two connected by Junior's chain. Without hesitation Junior slashed Harror through the chain which then sunk into the wall.

"What the hell was that!?" Junior asked as defensively held his arm over his torso.

"People are made of good and bad parts Junior. It's not uncommon for one part to get the short end of the stick, and no matter how small it was if that's all they were given then that's all they are." SirZech explained as he aimed another ball at the wall.

"Makes you wonder what kind of shit I did to wind up with something like that?" Junior said as he relaxed.

"Oh what didn't you do!?" The Soul fragment asked, it's twisted and demented voice coming from everywhere at once. "Oh such sweet souls I have feasted on!"

"Ajuka!" SirZech said in a tone that suggested he knew what to do.

"Fascinating it's evolved into some sort of symbiotic parasite, it's absorbed so much of Leviathan's stomach acids that it now produces them, and it's learned enough of Leviathan's body to use it it's advantage to ambush prey." Ajuka enthusiastically declared, a tinkle in his eyes that really shouldn't have been there.

"You disturb me sometimes Ajuka, everyone nearest exit now! We need to lure this thing out of it's element!" SirZech yelled heading down the large intestine.

"You guys are a thrill a minuet." Junior said with dripping sarcasm.

Sadly a agreement for any of Phantom's actual technology could not be met. But Mandy had acquired a compromise. Ivan had in his possession several blood blossom seeds. According to him a plant that produced a natural anti-ecto barrier that repelled ghostly energy, or more ecto in general, that was the basis of much of the technology produced, between all the ash lying around the place and Ivan's own Chlorokinetic semblance they had soon grown to a massive size, creating a shield around the castle that would keep any unwanted visitors out of the ash lands. They were also far enough away that they would not affect the twins so long as they were inside the castle. Surprisingly enough Ivan's request was pure, simple and relatively easy to accomplish, but a bit dangerous if handled incorrectly.

"Oh wow!" Manny said in awestruck at the large plant that Ivan had managed to produce, a Venus fly-trap looking thing that had a mixture of Rainbow like colors to it.

"It's so pretty!" Dani said admiring the flower from a distance.

Mandy supposed that she shouldn't be surprised. Ivan just wanted to spend time with the twins, being their brother he probably had some sort of sentimentality for them, and given the fact that he's a time traveler they may already know each other very well, from his perspective anyway. She secretly suspected that the rest of the negotiations were merely to buy her favor and buy time and loosen her grip through alcohol.

"Careful you two, don't get too close now, colorful usually means dangerous." Ivan warned, holding his hands up as if to hold the two back by their shirts.

In spite of Ivan's warnings Dani floated up to the flowery and especially colorful part, leading to the plant to move on it's own, it's petals and leaves closing and opening several times, before it suddenly wined back and shot forward again, leading to it's immediate and explosive death by gun shot from Mandy.

"Ivan, a word." Mandy said still holding the smoking gun.

Ivan walked over to Mandy who was standing on the edge of the castle's roof, giving a clear view to the red aura being produced off in the distance by the red plants, as well as a second ring of red around the Nergal's city of the Dead.

"Look if it's about the plant..." Ivan started before being interrupted.

"Will those flowers hold back the little demon bastard?" Mandy asked, not breaking eye contact with the city.

"Normally demons aren't my fortee, but so long as the ecto pumps in that thing's veins then those flowers will hold hold it." Ivan said, a bit more relaxed now that he knew that Mandy didn't want to chew him out, yet.

"Which means that it'll turn into something else later." Mandy guessed, knowing that Ivan was being deliberately cryptic as always. "No matter, as long as I know what I'm dealing with I can deal with it." Now Mandy had turned her glare around to Ivan. "As we agreed you can spend the rest of the day with the Twins, supervised by me. But be warned, the moment that time has come, I will shoot you if you're still here!"

"And exactly what good will that do?" Ivan asked, turning intangible just to prove his point. To this end Mandy pulled out a second side arm, this one producing the same anti-ecto aura as the blood Blossoms, hollow-point bullets filled with blood blossom nectar if Ivan were to guess. "Well played." Ivan said with a smile, floating back over to the twins to continue their day together.

She was careful not to let him see it, but Mandy had given the trio one of her infamous coy smirks when she had turned around.

Johnathan was member of the former Karate club, Moroko the book club, and Saizou a Juvenile delinquent. What did they have in common? They all met here inside the Public Safety Commission's prison, and were all released when Junior, and by extension the News Paper Club, shut them down. You'd think that they'd be grateful but no, here they were, the members of the News Paper club, standing outside the PSC's prison where all roads led back to.

"This place is a wreck Deshiko!" Kurumu stated observing the state of disuse that old prison facility had become.

"Budget cuts." Was Deshiko's simple reply.

"You mean you no longer have the same budget because you'll no longer beating people out of their hard earned cash?" Mizore snarkily inserted.

"I was referring to the fact that we no longer hold people in mass and therefore have no need for a exceptionally large prison facility." Deshiko responded in a deadpan tone.

"Well someone has been here." Gin was crouched low on the ground, examining a set of recent foot prints that didn't belong to the group. "Cause we didn't make these."

"Mimi can you do a sweep of the building?" Deshiko asked, looking up at the older student.

As requested Mimi closed her eyes, a dented glow coming through from beneath her eye-lids. Her mind found itself in a large room before she was rudely ejected from her current host, the last thing she could remember was hearing someone say 'Nice Try!'

"Mimi are you okay!?" Mimi blinked open her eyes seeing that she had fell unconscious, awake now thanks to Chi's excessive shoulder shaking. "What happened? Did you get inside?"

In response Mimi shook her head, prompting Kurumu to start to go back to the school, before Mimi stopped her by grabbing her leg.

"What are you doing? I thought you said that nobody was inside?" Kurumu asked, pulling her leg free of Mimi's grip.

"No she said that she couldn't read their minds. There's some kind of mental block in place keeping her out. Right Mimi?" Chi asked helping the deviling to her feet, and smirking in satisfaction when Mimi nodded yes.

"Block her out? Is that even possible?" Moka asked concern visible in her voice.

"All they'd need is another psychic to set up traps in their heads. A Incubus or a Succubus for example." Yukari stated, pointing to Kurumu as an example. "That also means that they probably know we're coming now."

"On the subject what were those guys that attacked us anyway? I've never heard of anything like them before." Kurumu stated, finding the dirt under her nails very interesting.

"Saizou is an Ogre, less accurately a Monstrel. For more information I believe our resident expert on the subject is required." Minnie said, looking up to the forest to see Kou asleep on a branch, and promptly threw a stone at him knocking him out of the tree and being caught by Minnie. "Mine apologies, but thine expertise are required."

"All you had to do was ask." Kou straightened an imaginary tie and puffed out his chest, as if to look more impressive. "What do yah want to know?"

"We were attacked by strange creature's earlier, they seemed to possess the ability to turn parts of their bodies into weapons, but they weren't devil arms." Minnie explained as best she could.

"Sounds suspiciously like Monstrels." Kou explained pacing around in circles on Minnie's hand. "Monstrel's don't fall into any one category, rather they're the end result of generations of cross breeding with various different species of monsters, and as a result each usually has a unique power or ability ranging from the almost useless C Rank to the all powerful S Rank."

"So just to understand what you're saying correctly. We don't know how many of them there are, we don't know what they can do, we don't know why they want us dead, we do know that they want to kill us, and we do know that they know that we're coming?" Gin asked, crossing his arms and looking to the group for confirmation. The others briefly looked between each other before returning their gaze to Gin and giving a collective 'Pretty much' to Gin. "Okay now that that's settled lets go and teach these good for nothing punks a lesson shall we?"

The group entered the building, not unaware of the Irony of wanting to confront those inside considering whom the building use to belong to. Everyone silently agreed to split up to tackle the issue. Mizore and Yukari took the left most path, Moka and Minnie the right, Deshiko stood guard, Gin and Kurumu the mid-left path, and Chi and Mimi the mid-Right path.

"Is Cerberus going to be any help in here?" Mizore asked, a pair of icy daggers in both hands.

"They wouldn't fit in here Mizore." Yukari pointed out, using a lumos spell to light their way in the dark.

"Lovely. Did Junior's mommy give you anything else other than her pet's leash and that bloody wand?" Mizore asked, a bit annoyed now.

"Did she give you anything other than more of your bad attitude?" Yukari countered?

"Look kid I don't like being stuck down here any more than you do. I'd much rather be hunting down that bloody pain in the ass Ivan and stopping him from wreaking his havok!" Mizore said scrunching her fingers in frustration.

"What you have a crush on him now?" Yukari asked, getting her kicks in on the matter.

"That asshole left Junior to die! I'm not going to forgive him for that!" Mizore barked back, visibly blustered.

"Tell that to your face!" Yukari said laughing!

"It's the heat!" Mizore said rubbing the accumulated sweat off her face, which also led to Yukari doing the same. "Why does Deshiko have the heat cranked up so high anyway?"

"Mizore, it wasn't this hot a minuet ago, and Deshiko said the entire building had all it's faculties shut down!" Yukari fearfully explained, having come to a startling conclusion.

"Yah pretty smart mon!" The two girls looked over to a dark skinned Jamaican looking student who was tossing a fireball up and down in his hand. "Id's a shame I'm gonna have ta roast y'all now!"

Chi was making use of Ikari as a makeshift flashlight, not that they could see anything of note but at least they weren't stumbling around in the dark.

"Where the heck are we going anyway!? We've been walking around here for hours!" Chi complained, Mimi shook her head no, it wasn't that long. "Oh quiet! You're no fun!" Chi mockingly said as she pouted.

The pair came upon a locked room, no dust had settled yet so it was being used recently. Not having time to locate a key Chi hacked open the door with Ikari, and came into a laboratory setting, complete with a centrifuge, electrodes and computer equipment.

"Hey Mimi, you grew up around all of this science stuff, what do you make of this place anyway. Looks like some kind of Mad Scientist's domain." Chi asked looking at vials of ominous red liquid.

Mimi shook her head no, but she saw something that might help. Immediately Mimi sat down at the computer and turned it on, discovering that it was password locked.

"Great, think you can hack it sweet heart?" Chi asked, bending over to look at the computer with Mimi.

Mimi knew from experience that tapping keys on the computer at random would do her very little good, nor did she have any of the equipment needed to hack it open right now. Working under the assumption that the people working in the lab wouldn't be stupid enough to write their password down on a sticky note Mimi took a look at the other lab equipment next. Mimi picked up and examined one of the vials, AB #213.

"Now ain't that peculiar. AB? Blood type maybe?" Chi guessed examining the vial with Mimi.

The Devil doubted it, if AB did refer to the blood type then it would have a + or a -. It was more like someone's, or something's initials, there was also something else of interest.

"The rest of them have numbers too, 212, 211. They're serial numbers, there are hundreds of these things!" Chi exclaimed, shocked at the realization.

Mimi nodded agreeing with Chi's assessment, although she wasn't sure about what AB stood for she should assume that it was bad. Suddenly the pair was interrupted by a large rock crashing into the room smashing all the equipment in the room. The two looked over to the doorway and saw a man standing in there, cracking his knuckles looking awfully satisfied with himself.

"Well that was rude, I think we outta teach this punk how to treat a lady. What do yah think Mimi." Chi asked looking awfully smug despite the fact that the pair's clue was destroyed.

Mimi growled angrily in response, not at Chi but at their unwelcome guest.

"Gin, you're drooling again." Kurumu pointed out a little disgusted.

Kurumu and Gin got the only path that was properly lit, much to Kurumu's displeasure as she was now the victim of Gin's unrelenting perverted antics.

"Can yah blame me? You're hot!" Gin complimented, wiping the drool off of his chin.

"Keep your eyes elsewhere dog!" Kurumu barked angrily. "We're looking for clues not at my ass!"

"You want a clue? Fine! Why the hell are the lights still on anyway!? If this place was shut down then why's there still power pumping into this place?" Gin angrily barked, pointing to the area all around them.

As if the lights had heard and understood Gin they began flickering on and off, like something was draining the energy from them. True enough a few bolts of lightning appeared from down the hall, condensing into a ball in the palm of a boy who looked rather sickly with his lanky, gangly figure and darkened swollen eyes and face.

"I suppose you're gonna blame me for this too?" Gin asked, one brow cocked and his annoyance at the situation showing through the tone of his voice.

"Well you Jinxed it!" Kurumu indignantly huffed in response, popping her claws as fur poked through from underneath Gin's collar.

Minnie and Moka arrived at a huge arena like room, although initially pitch black flood lights turned on brightly lighting the room up and exposing Midou standing on top of the lights.

"Welcome ladies to our little death trap! I hope your deaths won't be too uncomfortable!" Midou greeted casually, smiling happily yet giving off intense killing intent.

"Who art thou and why art thou doing this?" Minnie asked accusingly pointing her finger.

"Us? We're just wondering where the hell your brother is!?" Midou asked jumping down to the girls level. "I mean It's been like what, a month since school started up again?" Midou started circling the two, as if he were a shark that smelled fresh blood in the water. "It's not like a dog to leave his territory unguarded for so long right?"

"Mine brother is indisposed at the moment. Beyond that thou hath nay need to concern thyself!" Minnie spat, growing more and more annoyed with the thug's antics.

"Well, I guess that answer's that question." Midou said shrugging his shoulders and whistling as he walked away.

"What doth mean 'that answers that question?'" Minnie asked her voice laced with a thick layer of suspicion.

"Oh, my boss wanted me to figure out if his little gambit to wax your brother really worked." Minnie's hand scrunched into a fist so tightly that it leaked golden blood. "I mean I don't pretend to know how one goes about killing a immortal, but I'd imagine it was grisly. I wish I was there..." Midou said, before being abruptly cut off by Minnie throwing him through the roof. Midou traveled a fair distance before he crashed in the middle of the forest, getting to his feet he was greeted by Minnie's 'Angelic form.' "Looks like we were mistaken about you, you are your brother's sister." Midou said grinning as he wiped the blood off of his cheek.

After having crawled out possibly the least pleasant part of the massively disgusting creature known as the Leviathan. A group consisting of one Reaper, one mutant hell-hound hybrid and four devils were scaling alongside the tail of the great beast.

"Well that was hell, pardon the pun." Junior noted, leading the pack as it were.

"How do you think I feel? I got dragged through feet first!" Falbium growled at the group, his hair slicked back with a substance that was better left to the imagination.

"Well if you weren't such a lazy bum then we wouldn't have had to drag you!" Serafall called back angrily.

"Lazy has nothing to do with it I didn't want to crawl out of that thing's ass!" Falbium barked back with a bit of fury in his voice.

"If you two are done we have work to do." SirZech ordered as he climbed up top.

The group didn't get two feet when something crawled out from beneath the scales of the Leviathan, a whole pack of hell-hounds.

"More of these mutts!?" SirZech heard an angry growl coming from behind him. "No offense." Cou, Rage and Second all suddenly split up, growing additional skeletal mass to compensate for what the others took as a whole. "Well that's new." SirZech said, looking like he just saw a ghost leprechaun.

The three Halfa dogs leaped into action, passing through their foes unimpaired and striking viciously with ghostly howl attacks as well as biting and clawing attacks. "So is that. Any reason why we aren't joining in?" Ajuka asked readying Asmodeus and Cleopatra.

Following Ajuka's lead SirZech popped Minos, Junior pulled out Harror and Serafall yanked out a chunk of blood from below. There efforts however seemed to be in naught as all of the enemy Hell hounds suddenly froze solid, looking over the group saw the culprit was Falbium who still had the ice glyph up.

"I don't like working!" Falbium angrily barked, his annoyance with the situation becoming more and more apparent.

The dogs ice prison began to crack as they slowly freed themselves, with this Junior whipped out the cross of Gabriel and in quick succession purified all of the frozen dog's souls.

"Come on, lets keep moving!" Junior said tucking the cross into his pocket once more, and leading to the three separated dogs to reunite again. The group proceeded to run along the back of the Leviathan. It was soon made apparent that the beast had felt the chill Falbium sent down it's back and looked over to them, eyes narrowed at having finally noticed their presence.

Ice skating through a pitch black tunnel while lava is being hurled at her and carrying a witch, not how she saw this day going.

"You're heavier than you look Yukari!" Mizore angrily growled bending a sharp turn as their lava spewing opponent nearly spewed on them instead of the wall.

"And you need to slow down Mizore!" Yukari angrily protested kicking her legs and trying to flail her arms.

"This is no time to get motion sick Yukari!" Mizore growled as she slid out of the way of another lava volley.

"I'm not motion sick! We can't figure out how to beat this guy if we can't see him!" Yukari angrily growled as she tried to wriggle out of Mizore's grasp.

"Yukari, if he sees us then we're dead!" Mizore barked back as she slid down a set of stairs.

"If you tire yourself out running from him then we're dead anyway!" Yukari shouted quite angrily.

"Well when you put it that way." Mizore put Yukari down and iced over the stairs, if she did have to confront what ever this thing was then they'd might as well go on the offensive.

Mizore's efforts were soon in vain as the lava melted away both the ice and the stairs. Following the same train of thought as Mizore Yukari leap out from the corner and a wave of her wand and shout of the 'Petrificus totalis' spell their foe was suddenly as straight and stiff as a board and slid down the lava pool to the floor.

"That should take care of that." Yukari said, using a Windgardium Leviosa spell to cause the petrified lava spewing thug to float in midair.

"You have a petrifying spell? You could have done that ages ago!" Mizore barked at the witch angrily.

"Right after you free my arms and stop jolting me around so that I could get a shot in. Come on we got work to do." Yukari said, using a 'Aquamente' spell to extinguish the fire before she began the steep climb up with the thug floating behind her.

"You've gotten a pretty big mouth on you ever since you got that stupid wand." Mizore muttered following Yukari up the stairs.

In the middle of the courtyard, a group of students were busy minding their own business when something below tore through the ground and flew into the sky. The very confused Underworld History study group stared slack jawed into the sky, until that is they looked down and saw Chi climbing out of the pit. After taking a moment to brush the dirt off of her Chi spotted one of the students notes on the ground and picked it up to get a better look at it.

"That's wrong, FYI." Chi said, pointing out a block of print on the page before it down to run off. "Sorry, I'd stay to help but my sweet heart needs me!" Chi said, leaving the very disturbed study group to stare.

Mimi was in the midst of midair fisticuffs with her opponent. An opponent who by now took the appearance of a person with his torso sticking out of a lions body where the head should be as well as a pair of large bird wings sticking out of his back and a snake for a tail. With one mighty blow Mimi sent the multipart individual crashing into the ground, followed by landing on him feet first.

"Oi! Miss Utonium!" Mimi looked over to the familiar squeaky orange flying rodent. "That creature you're standing on is called a Sphinx! It's a chimerical creature that was bred by Heaven! It's tail has a nasty holy venom bite!"

Mimi spotted the snake tail attempt to bite her. Taking the bat's advice, she grabbed the snake by it's throat and squeezed it until it snapped, then she swung the beast around ball and chain style and threw him into the forest, crashing through several trees in the process.

"Oh drat!" Mimi looked behind her to see Chi running up to her. "I missed out on watching you play rope-a-dope with him!"

"Both of you...!" Suddenly the raging Sphinx popped out from underneath the pile of wood that he had been buried under and charged at the pair "DIIIIIE!"

"Oh I stand corrected! Can I get him this time Please!?" Mimi stepped out of Chi's way, indicating that she could go ahead. With this, Chi stretched out one arm and wove them between two trees, resulting in the charging Spinx tripping on Chi's arm, and followed up by being smashed in the face by a over inflated fist by Chi. "Knuckle sandwich!"

Mimi picked the unconscious creature up by his throat and began the process of psychically probing his mind. Normally forcibly extracting information from someone's mind would be either very lethal, or very comatose inducing/ brain damaging. However if you paired that with a necromancer, say like Chi, then while painful the process would be much safer, having picked his mind clean of any relevant information Mimi dropped the thug on the ground.

"Anything?" Mimi shook her head in a no, whoever this was he wasn't important enough to risk any information falling into enemy hands. "Shame he wrecked our other clues too." At this Mimi extracted a few vials from the pocket of her coat, AB #211 through 213. "Oh that's my girl! Come one let's go tell the others what we found!" Chi shriek leaping through the air and hugging tightly onto Mimi.

The hallway was home to bouncing balls of lightning and gray fur, the end result of a battle between a immensely fast and strong werewolf and a young man who could manipulate lightning at will clashed at high speeds. Kurumu wasn't even able to keep up with the two with her eyes so she couldn't aid Gin with her illusions.

"Alright if I can't trick him then I'll just have to cut him off."

Figuring that the spark plug couldn't be getting any electricity from outside on account of it having to pass through the ground thereby grounding the electricity. Nor that he was producing it himself on account that he seemed to absorbing it earlier, Kurumu's next logical conclusion being that he got it from the power lines. She experimentally slashed through a live power line and jumped back immediately when the sparks started flying from it. Kurumu observed that the spark plug started to slow down a bit, to the point that Gin was able to punch him in the face.

"Gin for the Win!"

Gin's moment of glory was cut short by the electrical creature putting up a force field separating him from Gin, and by extension Gin from Kurumu as well.

"Stay!"

The initially victoriously smiling walking spark plug turned around and his features immediately twisted into a scowl as he was surrounded by dozens of Kurumu hallucinations.

"What!?"

Thank goodness for succubus powers. Now that Kurumu had a hold of him she needed to finish him off before he broke free. Thus with only a hint of hesitation Kurumu stripped all the clothing off of her hallucinations, crowded them around her victim, carressed him, sent hands down to rather naughty places both on her and on him, pressed themselves up against him. The poor Son of a Gun never stood a chance, blood spurting out of his nose as he fell backwards unconscious.

"What you show him?"

"Only his greatest fantasy, come on we got work to do."

Gin bent down and picked up the thug and slung him over his shoulder, smiling cheekily. "Maybe I outta go on a rampage one of these days."

On the subject of rampages that was what was precisely going on on the surface. For what seemed like hours Minnie had been attacking the student named Midou, despite the fact that she seem to be hitting everything else. Whether it was a slash from her blade or a bolt of lightning hurled across the forest Midou always had a talent for simply not being where she was aiming, as he once again demonstrated by effortlessly dodging another hurled bolt of lightning.

"Oi you're never gonna hit me like that!"

The Chaos did not go unnoticed, from the view point of the courtyard Chi and Mimi had just finished tying up their captive.

"Looks like Minnie's throwing a party, should we go crash it?" Mimi nodded in the affirmative, leading to Chi to smile excitedly.

Carrying Chi Mimi flew over to the forest and spotted Midou run circles around Minnie, it wasn't often that they were treated to the sight of someone playing rope a dope with Minnie.

"Mimi remind me, Minnie was actually good at fighting the last time we met her right?" Mimi, equally surprised as Chi, nodded in the affirmative. "Well I guess we better help her."

The pair fell out of the sky, with Chi landing on top of Midou and Mimi on top of Minnie, pinning them both to the ground.

"Now tell me, what exactly did you do to my friend over there to piss her off like this?"

"Why don't you ask her yourself!?"

Suddenly Midou over powered Chi and threw her off of him, at Mimi and Minnie, the first of the two snatched her out of midair off to safety.

"Now that was uncalled for!"

Suddenly Minnie sprung up and threw the two off of her, leveling her glare at Midou. The pair of friends landed a few away, at the feet of Ivan who was lounging about in the forest.

"Oi! What are you doing here!? Isn't puttin her down suppose to be your job?"

"Are you mad I'm not touching her like that!"

"Why you little...!" Mimi tapped Chi on the shoulder and pointed over to Minnie, who was now fully electrified. "You can't phase through her while she's electrified? Then what good are you she's always electrified!?"

"What good am I? That is a Superb question." Ivan casually walked over to the edge of the battle ground between Midou and Minnie, staying just out of range of Minnie's bolts of lightning. "For example, I know how to short out her lightning bolts." At this a portal appeared above Minnie, from which the contents of the nearby lake pored out directly on top of her. Minnie's banshee like scream filled the entire school grounds as her electricity flowed out of her body and into the water. Midou agilely leap into the tree tops away from the water, and after a few feet Ivan stopped the flow of water. "That is what I'm good for!" Ivan walked over to Minnie and reached inside her and pulled out Michael.

"That was mighty impressive there." Midou jumped out of the tree he was sitting in and walked through the water drenched grass clapping his hands. "Don't think I ever saw something like you before."

"Understandable there's only..." Ivan suddenly paused, he held up both of his hands in fists before releasing fingers, as if he was mentally counting how many Halfa's were in the world. "Six of us, Technically. Well I guess that those Reapers count but they're reapers not ghosts. Well I guess there's gonna be more of us pretty soon anyway but of course you're not gonna have to worry about that now aren't you?"

"Oh really? Is that a fact? You're welcome to try." With that the two entered fisticuffs, one sided fisticuffs, whereas before Midou would easily dodge the blows Ivan immediately got his arm wrapped around his left and snapped it. "How'd you do that?" Midou screamed in pain.

"You're very good at reading body language Midou. But it can't compete with someone who can actually see into the future." At this Ivan tapped side of his face where one of his eyes were. "These are very special eyes, they got portals through time open over them, just a few minuets ahead, but that's more than enough. Now why don't you start taking this seriously, you grotesque one armed brute."

At this Midou's features slowly twitched into a smile. Suddenly Midou's remaining arm expanded. His sleeve torn at the seams, growing to several times it's original size, hardening into something like armored chain-mail with lizard like scales replacing the chain links, a familiar jet like thing jutted out of the elbow. Midou leaped into the air and pounced on Ivan with his giant fist. His speed increased through the jet thing on the elbow spewing out a huge concentration of dark aura, and leaving behind a huge crater in the ground, one blow that Ivan had easily dodge. Midou followed up with swinging his fist at Ivan another blow that he easily dodged, as well as the karate chop that followed suit.

"Hmm. This is getting me no where. The only way that he's gonna get hit, is if he wants to be hit!"

Towards this end Midou looked around the courtyard and spotted a easy target, a cute pink haired student rushing onto the scene, with this he planted his hand on the ground and used his grossly over-sized limb to catapult himself into the air at Moka.

"I wouldn't do that if I was you!"

Suddenly a green colored portal appeared in front of Moka, out from which a arm reached out and yanked off Moka's Rosario. Midou was blasted away from her by the force of Moka's powerful aura knocking him out of the air and to the ground. Moka stood transformed, piercing red eyes and hair like white snow, she took one look at her surroundings and saw Minnie, unconscious and battered, hoisted between Mimi and Chi.

"Don't look at us it was his stupid ass fault!"

Moka followed the direction of Chi's outstretched arm to Midou. Moka bull rushed the grotesquely mismatched thug who attempted to hit her with his arm, and paid for that mistake when Moka grabbed him by his finger bent it into breaking position.

"You hurt my friend! Die!"

Moka flipped her opponent over and slammed him into the ground, bending his arm behind him until the shoulder became dislocated, Moka's hapless victim screaming out in pain as a result, his scream getting even louder when Moka snapped his elbow with a kick. Moka laid down on the ground and wrapped her legs around his. With a twist and bend in a direction it wasn't made for completely shattered his femur, prompting yet another scream from Midou as Moka got on top of him and started beating his face in, leaving behind a bloodied pulp before Ivan grabbed her arm and stopped her.

"Enough!"

Moka took a few deep breaths, mostly trying not to throttle Ivan.

"You got more important things to do!"

Ivan let go of Moka's arm, the latter of whom rushed over to Minnie and lightly slapped her awake.

"Oi Minnie."

Minnie stirred to consciousness, being greeted by Moka supporting her weight.

"You alright Minnie?"

"Mine head feels as if some unborn creature hath mistaken it for their egg and art attempting to hatch forth from it!"

"Headache, got it."

"Hey Minnie, you might wanna go save Moka's hide now." Ivan said, having suddenly sneaked up on the pair.

In response Minnie immediately grabbed Michael and attempted to hack at Ivan several times, in each case he nimbly dodged her attacks, quickly growing tired of Ivan and his prophetical vision she resigned to leave the tip of her blade in the ground to listen to what Ivan has to say.

"If you're done." Ivan opened a portal, showing Moka about to be attacked by Midou who was slowly moving through the air, no doubt Ivan's doing.

The portal was just big enough for some one's arm to go through, understanding what was needed to be done Minnie reached through the portal and yanked off Moka's Rosario, the portal closing as soon as Minnie's arm was out of it.

"I believe this is thou's Moka."

Not entirely understanding what was going on Moka took the rosario and reattached it to the chain on her neck, falling unconscious with the expectation that someone would explain what's going when things started to make sense again.

"As for thou. Talk."

Bang, Bang, Bang. That was the sound that rang through hell, the cause a artificially enhanced Devil Arm Grenade launcher known as Minos. The target the hoards of creatures coming at them with everything they had. The place, the back of the massive demonic creature known as Leviathan.

"This is getting us no where!" SirZech shouted, firing a grenade at the head of Leviathan, which might as well been a sneeze for all the good it did.

"Anyone's seen that lunatic soul fragment!?" Serafall shouted over the sound of the explosions.

"Right behind you!" Suddenly the soul fragment leaped out from below and pounced on Serafall, pulling on her hair and steering her to the edge of the Leviathan's side, sending them both plummeting to the blood filled river below.

"Serafall!" SirZech called out in vain as Serafall seemed to plummet to her doom alongside Junior's soul fragment.

Junior saw the pair in free fall, with pin point accuracy he fired a Ecto Artillery shot ahead of them, hitting the blood and denting the pair's fall. Serafall made use of her hydro manipulation to pushed herself to Charon's ship and climbed aboard, discovering to true horror that the soul fragment was already climbing onto the ship whose acid was already corroding the away the ship's metal ladder.

"Shit, Courage Second get over here!"

Junior, alongside the three headed dog, both leaped off the edge of the beast and dived into the blood, prompting Serafall to use her hydropathy to throw the acid spewing nut into the blood. A brief green glow appeared below the blood before Junior sprung out on top of the surface with a home made platform made of clotted blood along with his insane soul fragment and Courage.

"Everyone's safe! SirZech we need to take that thing down!"

Following Ajuka's lead SirZech took aim at the beast with Minos and fired several grenades, Ajuka propelled them forward through the use of his manipulations and exploded them against the beast's head, to little effect.

"It's hide is too tough! Falbium, we need a chink in his armor!"

"Well that's easy SirZech, the eyes and inside of the mouth isn't armored, concentrate fire power in those areas."

SirZech took one look at his target, then back to Falbium.

"I need a boost Falbium!"

Falbium created a shield glyph at a angle that he could clearly see the Leviathan's head through, one that SirZech jumped on top of with Minos pressed the barrel opening directly against the shield.

"3..." Falbium also created a length of repulsion glyphs creating a makeshift railgun aimed at Leviathan's head "2..." Leviathan roared in defiance, daring the group to go through with their plan "1!" SirZech fired Minos, and more accurately himself forward. Speeding up with each glyph he passed through, SirZech took aim at the head of Leviathan he fired dozens of Grenades at it's open mouth, followed by popping the weapon into hammer form and slamming it into the open mouth, slamming it shut and detonating all of the grenades inside, breaking the Leviathan's jaw and letting it hang loose.

"Direct hit!"

The Leviathan seemed to not be bothered by the obvious pain that it should be in. Rather the Leviathan wrapped it's tail around it's face and pissed on itself, the acidic pee healing Leviathan much like the stomach acids of the beast. Once it was healed the beast glared down at the group with renewed hatred.

"Oh you have got to be kidding me!" SirZech was so flabbergasted that he missed landing on Leviathan he instead entered a free fall for the River Styx. He wasn't falling for long however when Serafall use a section of blood to catch him and deposit him on the ship.

"We need to take that thing down in one shot!"

Junior was busy with fighting his soul fragment when SirZech shouted, the distraction allowed the insane resident of Gluttony to pin him to the ground.

"Why are you fighting me!? I'm you!"

"No you're not! You're just food in the circle of Gluttony! And I'm Gonna eat you!"

Junior looked away, as if to ponder his thoughts for a moment, before he turned back to his counterpart, the determination still in his sockets, but something subtle changed in them.

"You're right, we're not!"

Junior kicked the insane soul fragment off of him and whistled Courage over.

"Speak!"

The dog head's all seemed to smile, before they all hit their foe with simultaneous ghostly howls, sending him flying off into the fourth circle. Junior looked up into the air and saw the beast use it's massive tail to throw the remaining devils off of it. Both landing on Junior's makeshift platform as the beast started to fly right at them, clearly enraged.

"We need a plan B here guys!"

"If you and Falbium can get me up there I might be able to use Harror to take that thing's head off."

Ajuka and Falbium looked at each other and smiled.

"I believe we can arrange for that to happen." Falbium set up the same magic circle combination as with SirZech and beckoned Junior to sit on top of the shield glyph.

"Junior, can you use Harvester right now?" Junior answered Ajuka's question with a nod in the affirmative, prompting the Devil to use his calculation circles to do some math. "Falbium, ten degrees upwards, five right!" Falbium made the necessary adjustments noting that they would send Junior flying pass the beast just missing it, but he wasn't one to argue. "Junior call your dog over and get them to sit where Falbium is standing!" With a whistle Junior called over Courage and had them sit down on the other side of the barrier spell. "Now what did Junior say to get them to fire off like that again?"

"You mean speak?"

Suddenly the trio all fired off their Ghostly Howls again, instantly shattering Falbium's barrier as Junior instantly broke the sound barrier and went faster from there.

"Precisely."

Junior saw his target fast approaching, he whipped Harror out and summoned a massive ethereal scythe, the blade in the path of the gigantic beast. Rushing past Leviathan, the beast attempted to snap down on the blade but was in for a rude surprise. For when the blade started to pass through the jaws, the fast moving reaper dragging his massive scythe blade through the beast, eventually cutting it half.

"Yahoo! We did it!"

As much as it pained SirZech to interrupt Serafall's literal jumps for joy he saw something of significance happening.

"He's not slowing down he's going to land in the Fourth Circle at this rate!"

SirZech's fears soon proved justified as Junior flew over the Fourth Circle. He made use of his harvester wings to stop his flight path, before releasing them to drop him straight into the fourth Circle, using his wings periodically to slow his descent.

"Yep that figures."

"Wha!? He left us behind SirZech!?"

"He probably figured that he couldn't fly back here under his own power. It'll take us weeks to drive the boat there."

"If we could be so bold to interrupt..." the pair already on the boat turned around to see Ajuka climbing aboard the deck. "We could always use the same method that he used, Falbium's magic cannon and the Mutt's howl."

"We still need the boat Ajuka."

"I'll stay behind to drive it over." At this the trio looked down to see Falbium climbing aboard the boat as well. "I have to operate the cannon anyway, so I might as well."

"Wait a minuet..." Serafall walked over to Falbium and yanked on his ear, if he minded he didn't show it "are you just doing this so that you can get out of work again you bum!?"

"You're point being?"

"Alright then now that's settled, Ajuka you run the calculations, Falbium you set up the cannon, Serafall you get the mutt up here."

"WAIT!"

The group, after their ears stopped ringing, looked over to Serafall clearly annoyed with her high pitched antics.

"Aren't we bringing Courage along?" Serafall clasped her hands together as if she were in prayer and added her best puppy dog face to the mix, complete with large watery eyes and pressed lips. There was a pause lasting a few seconds, before Serafall finally burst into tears at the group's Iron like resolve. "YOU GUYS ARE HEARTLESS!" Serafall got on her knees to sob, leading to SirZech to walk over to her and pat her on the back.

"Easy Serafall, they can't come with us, they wouldn't be able to stand the atmosphere of the fourth circle. We're really just sending them home back to earth, to Junior's friends or family or whoever sent them here in the first place."

"Really?"

"Really. Now we still kind of need to get them up here, but if you need a minuet alone with them we'd understand."

"Really!?"

"Really. So if you could, yah know, go get them."

For a second time SirZech could feel his ears ringing as Serafall squealed in his ear as she instantly perked up and hugged him before she jumped off of the edge of the ship, all to the clear amusement of Ajuka.

"You're only enabling her SirZech."

"I know, I know, I know. Falbium forgetting something?" Falbium only barely contained his laughter long enough to set up the familiar combination of Barrier and repulsion, before breaking out in laughter again.

"Oh look at what I found!" First, as she was told to, Serafall threw Courage up and onto the ship with a fountain of blood. Then she climbed up herself, carrying what looked like a wand with a dragon or snake head. "It looks just like a magic wand right!?"

"Hmm. Interesting, that must be Leviathan's Devil Arm, I wonder if it retains the same abilities as Leviathan as well."

As if to test Ajuka's theory Serafall began swinging the 'wand' around resulting in a large whip of acid coming out as she waved it around the ship, also eating through several strips of the floor before she stopped, rubbing her cheek up against the new weapon implying a rather unhealthy relationship had formed with the two.

"Okay, Serafall is going first before she destroys more of the ship with that thing!" Falbium and Ajuka only nodded in response to SirZech's statement.

"Do you really expect us to believe that half ass story you screwy nut?" Kurumu asked, untouched smoothie in hand.

Ivan had insisted upon relocating to the Cafeteria, ostentatiously under the belief that they can't yell at him while drinking smoothies.

"What's so hard to believe? Junior sent me back in time to make sure that everything happens here the way that it's suppose to happen?" Ivan said before he took a gulp from his drink.

"The fact that you seriously believe that Junior would want to go to hell." Was Mizore's dead panned reply, idly playing with a ice knife between her fingers.

"Not want to have to there's a difference!" Ivan barked, his face locked into annoyance with having to explain himself, again.

"He has to be in Hell, why?" Yukari asked, her death wand being tapped on the table.

"To stop something worst from happening! Look it's complicated, it requires too much time to explain, requires too many explanations, and reality will probably snap while you're wasting my time!" Ivan snapped angrily, his drink having been crushed in his hand.

"Then prove that thou art telling the truth! If mine brother sent thou here then he will hath given thou a way of proving it! So prove it!" Minnie said, grabbed Ivan by his neck and pinning him to a wall.

At this Ivan wagged his finger for Minnie to come closer, leaning over to Ivan's head, where he whispered into her ear.

"He's trustworthy, do whatever he says." Minnie said putting Ivan down and returning to her drink.

"Wait, we're just gonna believe this guy?" Chi asked the group in disbelief pointing over to Ivan as he caught his breath.

"No we're trusting mine brother, and he trusts him, this conversation hath ended."

Mako was tending to a group of comatose students, all put there thanks to a combination of their own stupidity and the News Paper Club, which it should be noted strangely enough consisted largely of a combination of the best trained and most powerful students in the school.

"Would you like me to wake them up sir?"

Standing behind Mako was the ever mysterious Kiryu who was also Mako's conversational partner.

"Leave them to suffer, my punishment for their stupidity."

"Of course sir, for how long?"

"We need to incapacitate the psychic before we can awaken them."

"Understandable sir, have you come for the medication?"

"Yes."

Mako handed Kiryu a bag full of medication, which led to Kiryu to wave his hand over Mako's face.

"Hello, my name is Mako how may I help you?"

"Oh nothing, I was just visiting." Kiryu said, while leaving his oblivious pawn in the medical ward.
