The morning sun hits my eyes. I take a huge yawn sort of stretch my arms. Lydia has got to have the most comfortable bed in the world, I can literally sleep all day.

Lydia is still softly asleep and she looks so peaceful and beautiful.

"Oh man." I whisper to myself. I slightly get up to take a better look at her. I touch her naked shoulder softly and smile really big to myself, then I reach down and kiss her shoulder.

"Amazing." I say as I kiss my hand and throw it in the air. Lydia and I slept together last night, again. Out first time was good, but last night was way better. Like really good, good, good.

I'm surprised Lydia isn't awake. I check her pulse on her neck to make sure she's breathing. She moves to my side, she has her eyes closed but turns around. "Are you checking my pulse?"

"You were very still." We both start laughing. "Well... last night. That was very fun." I said. She starts laughing again and I'm just smiling down at her.

"I don't know what to say here…." I look around, "Um, I have an idea. Stay right here, okay?"

"Okay." She says.

"Let me do something. Stay right here." I tell her again.

"Okay. I will." She smiles as I get up and quickly put my jeans on and my undershirt. I'm starting to walk away towards the door until I turn around.

"Stay right here. Don't move." I said so serious.

"Stiles, I get it." She laughs and I smile back.

I walk out to the kitchen and surprisingly it isn't a mess. It doesn't even look like there was a party last night. Curiously, I walk around and I see Malia and Isaac still asleep on the couch on the other side of the loft, spooning together and a trash can near Malia.

I quickly grab some eggs and bread from the refrigerator and start cooking it on the pan. I'm making a delicious egg sandwich. I run back and grab some cheese and add it into the pan. I get some orange juice and pour it into a cup. Flowers? I grab some daisies that are next to the sink and put it next to the cup. Proudly, I smile down at the breakfast, this is so cheesy.

I walk my way back to Lydia's room with the food on the wooden tray until I see some guy at the front door talking to Kira who looks annoyed. Kira turns around, noticed I'm still here and just stares at me with wide eyes.

"Uh, what's going on." I say.

"Who the hell are you?" The guy says. Not gonna lie, this guy is pretty good looking but so rude? He looks like a dick.

"I'm Stiles." I offer my hand to him while I carefully hold the breakfast tray in my other hand. He doesn't bother shaking it but looks at Kira.

Kira shakes her head. "Jackson, Lydia isn't here. She's at work." She lies.

This Jackson guy looks at Kira and rolls his eyes.

"Who are you?" I ask.

Kira quickly speaks up before he says anything. "Get lost Jackson." She starts closing the door until he blocks it with his foot.

"I'm not leaving until I see her." He says.

Lydia walks out the door with nothing but my flannel on, which is long on her but still looks incredibly cute and hot at the same time. "Hey, Stiles, what's taking-" Lydia stops by my side and quickly changes her mood. "Jackson?" She says. I'm looking at her closely and she crosses her arms.

Jackson quickly changes his persona and smiles really big. "Lydia. You look good."

Lydia rolls her eyes, "Why are you here? What do you want?!"

She looks at me and says sorry then gives Kira some weird look. Kira grabs my arm and pulls me away from them, "What are you doing?" I say.

"They need to talk alone."

"Who the hell was that? Do you see how much of a dick he is?! Will she be alright?"

"Yeah. Lydia can handle it. Uh, it's her ex boyfriend."

"Oh?" I put the breakfast tray on the kitchen counter.

"Don't worry about it. She's over him. Like super over him. You honestly got nothing to be worried about." She smiles and I kind of smile back, then look around.

"Where's Scott?" I ask.

"He went to go buy some coffee and bagels. We've been up early cleaning this place up." She yawns, I look back at Lydia and Jackson and he's a little too close talking to her.

I take a huge breath and gonna pretend that this isn't weird at all and it isn't bothering me. Why is he here? How long have they've been broken up? I look down and take a bite of the egg sandwich.

As I eat, I'm looking at Jackson. He looks mad and confused. I can't see Lydia's face because she's fully turned around.

"Bar guy, right? Stiles?" Isaac says as he sits next to me and yawns.

"Yeah." I say. Isaac looks around the loft and notices Jackson.

"Oh shit." He says.

"I know. Why would he come all over here to just 'see her'? He would never come when they dated, why now?" Kira explains.

HUH.

"Glad Malia is still asleep. She would have been yelling and kicking his ass right now." Isaac says.

"What's so special about him? I mean, we've all had exes?!" I say a little harshly.

"Jackson was her first everything," Kira says. "They dated since high school throughout college. When we moved down here for college they had so many problems. He became such a dick to her."

"Yeah, their relationship became was a bad mess."

"How bad?!" I say angrily.

"He was always just getting mad at her for no reason. He would yell at her, cheated, broke up with her, then get back together, it was so on and off. She was so weak around him too. She would always run back to him, I didn't understand." Kira says.

"I'm actually glad all that happened though. The whole break up made her stronger and a lot more tough. But she did go through a lot with him." Isaac says. "I don't know what you guys exactly are right now, but man, just treat her right." Isaac pats me on the back. "She deserves someone who will make her happy." He says. I just nod at him and drink the Orange juice. Kira is just smiling lightly.

Our heads completely turn when we heard the door get slammed. Lydia walks towards us, grabs a water bottle inside the refrigerator and chugs it.

"What did he want?" Kira says. Lydia takes a huge breath and shakes her head.

"A lot. But he's gone and that's all that matters." Lydia says. "The best revenge is not giving a shit." She winks.

Her response made me feel better about this whole situation. Isaac somewhat smiles and nods so does Kira. We're all just silent, until both of them part ways to leave us alone.

"So, I kinda made you breakfast? But I ate half of it?" She smiles and shakes her head.

"Rude." She grabs the egg sandwich which is nearly done and takes a huge bite. "Let's go back to my room."

"Yeah, sure, okay." I ramble.

We then hear vomiting behind us and quickly turn around. "I made it in the trash can. I made it." Malia yells and gives us a thumbs up. Her voice echoes in the trash can. Lydia shakes her head.

"ISAAC HEADS UP, YOUR GIRL IS THROWING UP!" Lydia yells. Isaac literally runs out the other side of the loft on his way to Malia. Lyds and I turn around to watch them.

"How do you feel!?" He has his hands on her back as her face is inside the trash can.

"Like shit." She sighs. Isaac shakes his head and smiles. He tucks her hair behind her ears and kisses her head. I smile at them because they are adorable.

As we enter her room, she sits on the carpet and sighs. She puts her hair in a messy ponytail and soothes out my flannel that's still on her. She's so pretty to look at, I walk my way and sit by her. She turns to her left and starts goes through her collection of books and vinyls.

"Why do you have red yarn? Do you crochet?" I laugh as I grab it near me.

"I absolutely do not. It's Malia's. I guess she left it in here, she makes scarfs and stuff." She answers while she looks at some record.

"Right." I say as I play with it on my finger. "What's your favorite song?" I ask curiously.

She pouts her lips, "Um…..Beatles, Polythene Pan."

"Mmmm, great choice."

"Thank you." She smiles. "Yours?"

I look at her records, "Between The Bars by Elliott Smith."

She looks surprised. "I know some of his songs, but not that one. Play it for me."

"Okay, I might have it on my phone." I stand up and grab my phone from her cabinet, and quickly sit back down next to her. I look through my music, "You're in luck. Although, this, this song is.. maybe not the right time to hear it. It's a bit-"

"Just play it, Stiles." She laughs.

"Will you at least close your eyes, and just.. I don't know, appreciate it."

"You're funny." She says as she closes her eyes, "Okay." She sighs.

I press play, hoping this won't be too awkward. It's a sad song, honestly.

Drink up, baby, stay up all night

With the things you could do, you won't but you might

The potential you'll be that you'll never see

The promises you'll only make

Drink up with me now and forget all about

The pressure of days, do what I say

And I'll make you okay and drive them away

The images stuck in your head

People you've been before that you

Don't want around anymore

That push and shove and won't bend to your will

I'll keep them still

"I'm so scared right now." She says then quickly cleans her tears as she opens her eyes. I put down my phone. "I don't want to get hurt." She looks at me.

"I'm not gonna hurt you." I softly smile at her and she nods, she's crying a lot more now. I hold her face lightly with my hands and lean in and kiss her gently and so does she but then stops.

"You shouldn't see me cry. I hate when people see me cry."

"Look you shouldn't care if people see you cry, alright?" I grab her chin.

"Why?"

"Because I think you look really beautiful when you cry." I tell her.

She rolls her eyes and smiles. She grabs the red yarn from my lap and starts playing with it.

"Look, I like you Lydia a lot. And you shouldn't be afraid of me. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm not... like him." The red string is stuck on her finger making it a little bruised and I start removing it. I can feel her eyes on me.

"What did Kira tell you?" She questions.

"Almost everything I guess. Like how he treated you like shit and you didn't do much about it."

"I was young and in love and blinded and stupid." She sighs.

"How long ago was this?" I ask.

"Like two years ago?"

"You've been single ever since?!" I say a little too shockingly.

"How is that such a bad thing?!" She raises her voice.

"Where have you been two years ago in my life, Lydia Martin." I smirk.

"Working my ass off to get this job that I really like and don't want to risk because I'm dating a huge dork."

"Oh? Now we're dating?" I smile.

"Can we talk about work? Aren't you a little worried if we get caught and one of us loses our job or something?!" She completely changed the subject.

"We won't get caught, because unlike you, I have self control." I laugh. She punches my chest and completely turns her whole body around. She picks up a Beatles vinyl and places it on the record player, Something starts playing.

She starts humming the song. I make myself comfortable and lay down near her. I decided to rest my head on her lap. She's still hasn't bothered changing. She smiles down at me.

She starts playing with my hair which feels good and I close my eyes. "Okay, so we're dating? Like is this for real?" I ask.

"I guess so. Yeah." She says, I have my eyes closed still but I can tell she's smiling big.

"But I didn't even take you out to dinner!" I cry. "And that's important. I want to be a gentleman. You deserve to be treated like a queen," She starts laughing. "And queens deserve flowers, and massages, chocolate, booze, diamonds, rubies, treasure chests, and clothes, and scarves. I'm gonna give you all that stuff and more."

I open my eyes and she's just looking at me. She then leans down and kisses me hard.

My eyes go wide and I smile back. "So can I take you out tonight? Like on a date date." I ask.

"No." I kind of get up, is she being serious?

"Take me out right now. You owe me breakfast." She smiles.

I take a huge breath and sigh. "Don't scare me like that."

She giggles, "I'm serious though. I'm really hungry. Let's go." She turns off the record player and gets up.

"At least put some pants on." I laugh.
