Chapter 7
"It was Kaname's idea to bring me here? Why would he do that?" I asked, completely shocked by the idea that he would do such a thing. "I don't know why. He wouldn't tell me anything." said Headmaster Cross, "All I know is that he said that I should invite you here since he thought that I might be worried about you, which I was. I've been so busy here at the school that I couldn't find time to come and visit you at the manor. I'm sorry Rin." "No it's alright I understand. Your dream is more important than me anyways." "Now don't say that Rin. You're important as well. Now you should get some rest otherwise you won't get any better." "Alright Cross-sama." I closed my eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep, finding the sound of Headmaster Cross scribbling something down on a piece of paper to be soothing.
"Hey, open your eyes." called out a mysterious voice. This one sounds like the one I heard in my dream two days ago, but older. I open my eyes and see that a young man with his brown hair pulled up into a pony tail. He wore a simple white collared button-down shirt and black slacks. She recognized this person as the boy who was killed in her dream. "L-Len?" I asked hesitantly, not sure if it was really him. "Hello Rin." he said to me with a warm gentle smile. His voice sounded soft, light and full of love. I got up and quickly ran over to and wrapped my arms around him. "I miss you so much Len." I say to him through tears. "I miss you too my dear twin." he responds to me as he gently kisses the top of my head. He was taller than me, but just by an inch or two. "What happened to your hair? Did you cut it?" I ask him as I notice the length of his hair. He reaches up to the yellow ribbon which is keeping his hair up and pulls on it, causing his hair to cascade down to his mid-thigh. He holds the ribbon out towards me. "It has a spell on it to make my hair look short. After all it would be weird to see a guy with hair that long." Len said with a slight laugh. I laughed with him then looked into his eyes. Len gently cups my cheek in his hand. I had forgotten how soft his hands were. My eyes widened as I saw him starting to fade. "Looks like my time is up. Goodbye my dear sister." He leans close to me his lips getting closer to mine. Just before our lips touch he vanishes.
"Hey wake up Rin." called out a voice, which sounded quite angry. I open my eyes and find that the voice belonged none other than Kaname Kuran. I sat up and glared at him. "Thanks for ruining my wonderful dream you jerk." I said to him agitated. "Well sorry princess." he responded with sarcasm, "But it's time to go back to the dorms." He grabs my arm tightly and makes me stand up. "Let's go." He dragged me out of the room over to the Moon Dorm. Once we enter the building I yank my arm from his grasp then slap him across the face. Kaname's friends who were in the area looked at me in shock. Kaname held his cheek wide-eyed. "Stop treating me like I'm your personal possession!" I shout at him, crying tears of rage. I quickly ascend the stairs and go into my room, slamming the door shut behind me. Kaname stares in utter shock as he keeps his gaze on the stairway. He then moves his gaze to his friends who are standing there, unable to grasp what just happened. He goes up the stairs and goes to my dorm room door and knocks on it gently.
