A ear rendering sound tore Sam from her fitful slumber in the corner. She jolted again from her position into her knees only to gasp, as Danny lunged at her. She jumped back, fully standing and hugging the walls backwards in fear. She stared wide eyes into Dannys snarling form. That was a mistake. Her eyes met Danny's. Once his eyes had been acid green, they were full of red. Crimson red, swirling pools that Sam fell into. She stood stiffly, and blankly walked towards him. All the while, her mind was still stuck in his eyes. Her head lolled to the right, exposing her neck as she came near.
When she was an inch away from Danny's awaiting fingers and fangs, something hard slammed to her and she fell into the ground, hitting her head with a solid thump. She opened her eyes, only to blink hard as her sight was full of glimmering and popping stars. She felt the heavy weight get off her chest. She opened her eyes again, and groaned.
"Are you stupid?" Dark asked Sam from above her. She groaned again and lifted her hands to her head. She slowly tried to rise, but Dark pressed his foot on her chest, making her lay back down.
"Wha? Lemme up…" Sam grunted out.
Dark smirked at her. "No. Besides it's time for the ritual to start." He propped Sam up against a wall, directly opposite from Danny's furious and hissing form. Sam was very glad for the chains holding him back, even though they started to give off a horrible screeching sound. So that's what the sound was….. She blearily noticed.
Dark stood up from crouching over her. He slowly dusted off his pants that became grimy from sitting on the floor. He walked slowly to Danny's ferocious form. He lunged again, the chains rattling before snapping him back with a jerk. He watched him carefully and waited for Danny to lunge again. He smoothly went under the lunge, and locked his arms behind him.
He got more infuriated as he jerked back to head-butt him, but Dark simply leaned into him. Danny had to fold into his knees or risk his legs broken from the extra weight, and Dark wasn't exactly light. He twisted his head around and got a slash into Darks cheeks, making it bleed slightly. Dark growled at the slash and gathered Danny's hands into his one hand. He placed this other hand under the young Vampire Ghosts chin, regardless of him trying to jerk away and turned it sharply to the left. Danny bucked harder, finally realizing Darks plan. Dark smirked. He did love a challenge. He snuffled a bit at the young halfa's neck under him.
Danny was frozen in terror. Even if his mind was erased, his body and subconscious remembered everything…even the evil that was practically coming from him in waves. A whimper slipped from his lips as he awaited the bite. He gasped as Dark cruelly sank his fangs into him, and pulled hard on his blood. With every pull, Danny felt himself weakening. He was limp and oh so near the warm darkness of his mind when Dark finished. He exhaled deeply, waiting for the blood in himself to go down. A thin trail of green and red blood came down from his lips into his chin and dripped into the floor. He looked at the prize in his arms. He chuckled darkly. Danny twitched a little at the chuckling and instinctively tried to crawl away.
"Now, now. Where do you think you're going?" Dark chided him when he simply grabbed on Dannys arms. "We're not done~" He gathered him up in his arms a little. He held his hand above his younger charges mouth and waited. Danny let out a half grunt and half whimper. He shut his eyes and moved his mouth away. Dark had to stifle a growl. "Still stubborn to the bitter end, even though I'm right here." He smiled evilly. "I'll break that habit of yours though."
He bit into his wrist and lifted it above his mouth, making the blood drip into Danny's mouth. He unwilling drank a little and suddenly, his whole demeanor changed. From where there was a scared kitten, there was a ferocious tiger. He growled lowly and lunged at the arm, holding it greedily against his mouth. He took hasty yet big gulpfuls of the sweet yet bitter nectar flooding his mouth. He fainted with the blood in his mouth. Dark frowned at that, and lifted Danny to his corner. He tested the chains to make sure they were still good to go. He bit his lip suddenly. "Here comes the hard part."
Sam had watched the entire thing with disgust and horror. She felt something inside her break into a million pieces and numbly hear Dark said the last sentence. She felt something wet against her cheeks, and realized she was crying. But why? She was Sam. Danny's girlfriend. She choked back a whimper and realized why she was crying. For all those years, she had held on the belief that they would be together. But now, they were together but why did it feel like her heart was ripping herself to shreds all over again every time she saw Dark and Danny together? She should have been happy, ecstatic even. Dark didn't notice her and sat down in front of Danny, alert for anything that might happen.
Danny twitched and slowly levitated into the air, the air whipping around him in speeds. His hair and clothes flapped around him. Dark and Sam held their hands to their faces to avoid the stinging wind. Danny had 4 rings around him. One blue ring was at his head, one green ring at his chest, one white ring at his midsection and one red ring at his feet. They came apart and formed like snakes. They hovered above Dannys unmoving form and they collided into each other, making a shockwave and blowing Sam and Dark to the wall. The colors fought each other, each one not letting down their assault. The blue and green rings joined and made a turquoise ring, fighting off the now mixed slightly red ring. The red ring hissed and struck, not realizing the trap until it was too late. The turquoise ring wrapped around it covering it like a candy cane decoration. Their prey bucked and hissed, desperate to get out of the trap that they'd unwittingly fell into. The turquoise ring started to pulse, and each pulse was faster than the other. They slowly began to form a circle, both ends fighting to join.
The pulsing stopped when they joined and for one moment, it was still. The ring hovered and slowly sank through the motionless young halfa and circled him in the end. They split into two halves and went over his entire body. When they went over, strange glowing tribal tattoos showed up. They made their way among the many war scars Danny had. They slithered like snakes and froze like statues when the rings started to go up and down Danny's body erratically. Then it flashed. A bright white light burst into existence and left just as suddenly, leaving Dark and Sam almost blind. They lowered their hands from their eyes, blinking hard to get rid of the afterimage. A passed out Danny greeted their eyes.
