Hello again fellow readers and writers alike. After a long period of procrastination, I'm here with the next update for the clash of Ice and Fire redone. Several problems had to be dealt with including the occasional trouble with the internet as well as how the story would continue. But I digress. The story continues with….

Chapter 7: A deadly love triangle!

We begin with an overhead view of the Fenton family home. It was near midnight and everyone in the house was sound asleep. Well, not exactly everybody. Bloom was on the couch tossing and turning. She had a strained look on her face as well. It seemed that she was having another nightmare. While this happened, a malicious dark aura had surrounded Bloom.

In her subconscious, Bloom had opened her eyes to find herself in a dream. Looking around, she saw the sky was colored a familiar orange signifying either the beginning or ending of the day. The sight was beautiful. But almost immediately after taking in the scenery, She sensed that something was amiss. Feeling around her neck, she noticed she was wearing a black choker. She took a look at herself to find that her clothes had changed.

'Wha…? What am I wearing? She asked herself. She then noticed that it had gotten slightly darker. She had turned to see a large castle floating in the sky. It's multiple holes and cracks showed that it was several years old. Though the castle had a large chunk of ground underneath it meaning it must have been forcibly pulled out of its original spot. Keeping the building aloft were two huge wings comprised of dark magic. Bloom was about to ask herself what it was until the memory had come back to her like a flash of lightning.

Wait, I…remember this castle. She said to herself. Her attention was then drawn to a loud roar. She turned to find a mass of dark magic that took the form of the dragon flame was in front of her. It had charged ahead aiming for the only other person there. A few feet away was a young boy about ten years old with short brown hair. He was wearing a golden shirt that had the initials U.B. on it. He had a long white cape with the elaborate drawing of an avian-like dragon on it. He wore a visor that covered his green eyes with horn like protrusions covering his ears. He wore white pants and gloves and golden boots. On his left arm was a golden arm brace which was protecting a strange device with a green hourglass on it. In his right hand, he wielded a long white staff with a single blade at the end. He did not move an inch as the dark dragon had closed its maw on him.

Though moments later, the blade of his staff had stuck out of the beast's snout and was glowing white before cutting it down the middle and headed directly for Bloom. She saw the attack coming, but for some reason, she was unable to move. It wasn't long before the boy had reached her and had shot out of the dragon and impaled her with his staff while uttering…."It's time for you to face the light!" Even though it was a dream, the pain felt all too real. She felt her consciousness slipping and the image of the kid fading. When everything went dark, she had heard a voice ask her.

"That hurt, didn't it?"

When Bloom opened her eyes again, she had found that the environment of her dream had changed. She seemed to be in gardenia. The sun was setting in the distance on the town. Though all the lights in the buildings were off. There was not a single sign of life anywhere. Bloom was standing under a single lamppost with a bright light that seemed to flicker from time to time with a wooden bench underneath it.

"I'm…here again?" Bloom asked herself.

"Yep. You remember this place don't you?" Asked the voice.

"Who are you? Where are you?" She asked trying to locate the person talking to her.

"Really? You don't know? I honestly thought you were smarter than that." The voice replied. Suddenly, a tornado of dark magic had appeared in front of Bloom. As the tornado slowly began to disappear, she was in shock. Standing in front of her was….her. A copy that looked exactly like Bloom from the hair to the clothes. However, there was one noticeable difference. Whereas Bloom's eyes were good and blue. Her doppelganger had yellow evil eyes. Her pupils slit like that of a snake. She had a sinister smirk on her face when she saw the shocked and confused expression on the young fairy's face.

"A…are you…?" Bloom tried to ask a bit scared of what the answer might be.

'That's right. I am Dark Bloom. The embodiment of the darkness residing in your pretty little heart. Nice to finally meet face to face. The dark version of Bloom grinned. That hurt pretty bad didn't it? Getting the energy drained from you as your slowly being sent to a place similar to a prison? That's how I felt. And I wanted you to feel the pain as well."

"How? How are you here? I thought…?"

"What? That the kid purged me from your heart along with all that dark magic? Fat chance! Dark Bloom finished. I'm a literal part of you. Heck, in a sense, I AM you. Everyone has a yin and yang. You just tend to act like a goody-two shoes most of the time so I don't really get out much. The kid only sealed me away into the farthest corner of your heart. The same thing I tried to do to you.

When are you going to learn that you need to deal with me yourself instead of getting your little friends to get rid of me every time?"

"What's that supposed to mean? And why are you doing this? Why must you cause my friends pain?" Asked Bloom.

"Can't really tell you the first one. That's a riddle you need to solve for yourself. But the second one should be obvious. I'm the dark half of you. Which means someone is going to get hurt in some way. But right now, I think it's time I had a little fun." She said before she started to disappear in a swirl of dark magic once again.

"Wait!" She pleaded. But she was already gone. The swirls of dark magic that made up the tornado had ascended into the sky.

When Bloom's eyes opened in the real world, they appeared to be the eyes of Dark Bloom. She had slowly risen from the couch and begun to make her way up the stairs careful not to make a single sound. She had soon approached Danny's bedroom door. Creaking it open, she saw that he was fast asleep in his bed. A small snot bubble could be seen forming from his left nostril. A small smile crept onto her face.

When Danny felt something shifting onto his bed, his snot bubble popped as his senses had brought him back to the waking world. He creaked his eyelids open to see the form of Bloom sitting on top of him reaching for the buttons on his pajama shirt.

"Ung…Bloom? What are you…?" Danny groaned. But was hushed as she put a single finger to his mouth.

"Quiet. Wouldn't want to wake anyone up would we?" She asked as she giggled. When Danny saw the gleam in her eyes, his shot open in shock.
"No. No, you're Dark Bloom! You've taken over again!' Danny shouted quietly.

"Hmm. Figured it out already huh? She asked in disappointment. You're a lot smarter than a teenage boy should be. Shame. I was going to act like the goody-goody for a bit. Oh well." She said as her original snake-like eyes appeared and she begun undoing more buttons.

"Stop! I won't let you do this with Bloom's body!" Danny said struggling to force the girl off of him. She put up a bit of a fight, but Danny's fighting experience has given him far more strength than the possessed girl and pried her off of him as he raced to get up from his bed.

"Just what the hell do you think you're trying to do?!' Danny whispered his voice raising a little.

"Just trying to have a little fun with you, ghost boy. Chill out." She replied calmly as she sat upright on his bed.

"Is that supposed to be a joke because of my ice powers?" Asked Danny.

"Maybe, maybe not. I'll let you guess on that one. But for now…" She smiled seductively as she got up from the bed and approached Danny. But it wasn't three steps towards him till Danny was in a fighting stance and his eyes were glowing bright green.

"Back off. Don't think I won't fight one of my possessed friends.' Danny threatened.

"Oh please. Do you really think you can bring yourself to injure a frail looking girl like her?" Asked Dark Bloom.

"You really want to test that theory?" Asked Danny not moving an inch. The smile on her face had vanished when she saw that the kid wouldn't be moved so easily.

"Fine. You win. I'll back off….for tonight. Dark Bloom sighed as she was about to leave. Oh by the way Danny, you might want to take care of that ghost behind you."

"Huh? What gho..? Danny begun before he was shot to the bed with a blast of dark magic. His head had bumped the wall slightly shaking the house and waking his older sister.

"Huh? Danny?" Jazz groaned rising from her bed. She had put on her slippers and left her room heading for Danny's. Meanwhile, back in his room, Danny was pinned onto his bed with rings of dark magic preventing him from using his ghost powers.

"Gah! I…I can't phase out of these!" Danny struggled.

"Of course you can't. One of the many skills miss goody-good learned in school. I just put my own personal touch on it. Now…where were we?" She asked as she had undid the last button and proceeded to take off his shirt. She had then leaned in close planning to plant a kiss on him. Danny still tried struggling out of the magic binds, but to no avail. But just before the deed could be done…

"Danny? Is that you?" Asked Jazz.

"Jazz?" Asked Danny a bit nervous. It wouldn't be pretty if his sister found him in a positon like this. And with the door open no less.

"Tch. Always has to be someone in the way." Dark Bloom hissed as she had switched control of the body back over to Bloom. With a gasp, she had regained consciousness and her blue eyes had returned.

"Ugh…what happened? Bloom asked a bit groggy from the switch. She then glanced down at Danny and slowly begun piecing things together. Danny? What? How did I get-?"

"Danny? Is that you making noise? Asked Jazz as she got closer to his room. Just as Jazz got into the hallway of her brother's room, she heard fast rustling coming from the open door. When she arrived, she saw Danny siting up in his bed with his clothes unevenly buttoned and his sheets wrinkled.

"Oh, hey Jazz. Did I wake you?" Danny asked calmly.

"Kind of. I heard a bang on the wall? Everything alright In here?" She asked.

"Oh yeah. Just had a bit of a nightmare. By the looks of it, a pretty bad one." Danny replied. Jazz had a skeptical look on her face, but as she gave a loud yawn, she figured she was too tired to deal with it so early in the morning.

"Yeah well…could you try not to hit the wall during your nightmares? Some of us are trying to get some sleep." She said as she had left.

"Okay Jazz. Sorry for waking ya." Danny said to her just before she was out of earshot. When she was finally gone, Bloom had crawled out from under his bed with various traces of lint in her hair.

"Thanks for the cover. And sorry about….you know." Bloom said as she begun to blush.

"Uh….well don't worry about it. As long as nothing happened. And as long as we tell absolutely no one about this." Danny replied.

"R..right." Bloom agreed. After making sure the coast was clear, Bloom had snuck back downstairs and back onto the couch without making too much of a sound. Soon, it was morning and everyone was preparing for school. However, upon Danny's trip to the bathroom, he discovered one of the disadvantages to living with several women. He found a line formed outside of the bathroom consisting of his mother Maddie, Jazz, Bloom and his father at the back with a scowl on his face.

"Um…Morning?" Danny said with an eyebrow raised. Long line for the bathroom today, huh?"

"Yes. Apparently, our new friends need a large sum of time in the bathroom to get ready in the morning. Well Danny, if you need me, I'll be using the emergency bathroom." His father said as he had turned around and seemed to be headed upstairs.

"Emergency bathroom? Since when did we-. Oh no. Danny realized as he suddenly knew where his father was headed. He dashed back up the stairs and into his room only to find the door to his bathroom close. Oh great. Going to have to clean my bathroom after school now." Danny groaned too late to stop his father. Thankfully, he already prepared for school already and didn't have to be too late today. The first priority on his mind was to get Bloom to the counselor's office so that Faragodna can do whatever she has plan to subdue Dark Bloom for the time being.

However, she wasn't exactly a morning person so it may be a bit before she gets there. So instead, Danny decided to head to class with Tucker and Sam. Bloom and Stella however were still nowhere to be seen. Either they're just getting on their way, or their taking time to talk to some of the boys. Knowing what Bloom's other half tried to do last night, she might be in the same boat as Stella. But on his way to class, he passed by Paulina and Star.

"Oh, Morning Danny. Sam, Tucker." She said with a smile. Tucker was more than happy that she took the time to talk to him and Danny had returned the greeting. But Sam was more than a little suspicious as she usually is.

"Alright, what's your plan?" Asked Sam with her arms folded.

"Plan? What plan? Asked Paulina pretending not to know what she meant.

"Don't think I don't know. Come on, you just said 'good morning' to Tucker. You never say anything to him without calling him a 'geek boy' or something like that. So, what is it?" Sam explained.

"What? So I can't say good morning to anyone without being under suspicion of an ulterior motive? She asked. She snickered a bit before she talked again. Well, I can't say I really blame you. So, yes. I did have something else planned today. She had then snapped her fingers once. At that moment, Star had reached into the open locker and had pulled out a couple of cards. The cards themselves were blue with multiple fancy looking decorations on it and the writing in a curly style font.

"What's this?" Asked Sam.

"What do you think? It's a party invite, duh! Said Star. Paulina's sweet sixteen is this Saturday. Consider yourselves, invited."

"Well, thanks for thinking about us, but…I think we'll pass. Sam said as she had gave hers back to Star. We have better things to do than party our lives away. Right guys?" Sam asked turning to her friends. But they were still busy looking over the cards.

"Danny, look who they have playing for the party." Tucker said pointing to a spot on his invite.

"Wait….no, no…that can't be right. It has to be some kind of typo. If that's actually what it says then…." Danny began trying to contain his excitement.

"Danny, you know they always spell check stuff like this. There's no way this could be a mistake." Tucker replied.

"You actually booked Green day for your party? Asked Danny. How? I thought they were on tour?"

"Oh, My papi 'convinced' them to have one of their stops be here in Amity park." Paulina replied.

Before Danny could gush any further over the band, Sam had let out a fake cough.

"So, do you still plan on not going?" Asked Paulina.

"Well I don't know about these two, but I'll definitely be there!" Tucker said as he ran off towards his class.

"Danny? What about you?" Paulina asked turning to Danny. Once upon a time, Danny would jump at the chance to attend one of Paulina's parties. But with his girlfriend kind of having it out for the shallow witch, it's more than likely that she wouldn't let him within ten feet of her or her home. Especially now that the whole world knows his secret identity. Before Danny had a chance to answer, the bell rang for class to begin.

"Oh, would you look at that? Time for class. We really must continue this some other time." Sam said as she had latched onto Danny's arm and pulled him towards Mr. Lancer's room. Paulina just scowled as she pulled him away. But, she decided not to let it worry her for now.

"Well, guess that nerd actually got his facts straight. Said Star. You worried he might not show?"

"Oh, he will. I'm sure by now he's trying to convince that Goth fre-. I mean, Sam to let him go. Said Paulina trying to break the habit of just calling her a goth freak or any other name And when he does show up, I'll prove that I deserve him far more than she does."

Mr Lancer's class went by pretty smoothly today. Danny wasn't very tired so he was able to get down most of what his teacher taught today, and they had no trouble from Dark Bloom either. She did try numerous times to take over during class, but Bloom managed to keep her in check for the time being. And the thought of having to deal with her less than she had to, even if it was only a tiny bit, made it worth it. When the class ended, they were able to take her to the counselors' office to see Miss Faragodna. They were told to wait outside while she performed the spell.

She had placed her hand on Bloom's stomach. The same place where she placed the seal spell on Danny. However, after the spell was done, no markings made themselves visible on Bloom's person. However, she did feel a sudden absence of pressure from her darker half. Almost as if it wasn't there in the first place.

"There. I may not be able to seal off your other half, but I have subdued her influence on you temporarily. You shouldn't have to worry about her for at least twenty-four hours. I'm afraid that's the best I can do until we find a permanent solution." Said Faragodna.

"It's alright miss Faragodna. Thank you for the help anyway." Bloom replied.

"By the way, your darker half hasn't forced you to do anything…'indecent'….has she?" Faragodna whispered.

"What? Of course not!" Bloom hastily replied as her face begun turning red. Faragodna knew she was lying, but she decided to not pressure the poor girl. Whatever her darker half tried to do might have been embarrassing enough without her asking about it.

"That's good then. It seems you had better control than I thought. Faragodna said while sitting back in her chair. But just because I've put a leash on Dark Bloom for now, that's no excuse for you to let your guard down. I'm still not exactly sure how powerful she might be. You never know when she could break free."

"Right. I'll be careful." Said Bloom.

Meanwhile, Danny, Tucker and Sam met up at lunch.

"Come on, Sam." Danny pleaded.

"No, Danny." Sam replied bluntly before taking a bite of her salad.

"Come on, Sam. Have a heart and let the man go. It's not like he's planning on cheating on you." Said Tucker.

"Come on. Please? I know you like green day too. Danny begged. Come on, I'll do anything."

"Anything?" Sam asked just as she was about to take another bite.

"Okay, almost anything." Danny said.

'Danny, you know we can't trust her. What if this is some sort of plot to steal you? I doubt that she's fully accepted that Danny phantom already has a girlfriend." Sam explained.

"What? Please. She saw our kiss. I don't think she has any plans for me." Said Danny. Please Sam. I have to be there when green day shows. Sam let out a sigh as she put down her fork.

"Alright Danny. You can go to her sweet sixteen." Said Sam.

"Yes! You're the best! "Danny shouted as he held Sam in a bear hug.

"But, on two conditions. She continued. Tucker, cover your ears."

"What? Why?" Whined Tucker.

"Just cover your ears! This is private." Sam insisted.

"Fine." Tucker sighed as he covered his ears with his hands.

"Um, okay. What are the conditions?" Said Danny a bit nervous.

'Condition #1: You have to stay close to me. If I let you out of my sight for one second, Paulina might want to try to separate us." Said Sam.

"That's doable. And the second condition?" Asked Danny.

"Condition#2:….Sam had then whispered into Danny's ear. Before she finished, Danny's eyes had shot open In shock.

"What?! You want me….you want us to do that?!" Asked Danny with beads of sweat raining from his brow.

"It's either that…or no green day." Sam said with a smirk. Whatever Sam told Danny what he had to do had him sweating bullets.

"Um…um….alright. Consider it done." Said Danny. Okay Tuck, you can listen now." Danny said as he put his hand on the techno geek's shoulder letting him know he could listen again.

At that point, Bloom had arrived at their table.

"Hi Danny. Sam, Tucker" Bloom said as she and Stella had taken their seats.

"Hey. So, did Faragodna take care of 'you know who?" Asked Danny.

"For now. For at least twenty four hours, I won't have to worry about her taking over." Bloom replied.

"That's good. So, anything else happen?" Asked Danny.

"Well, me and Stella got these invites to a girl's sweet sixteen party. Said Bloom. Must be some party, cause a lot of kids were trying to get invites." Said Bloom as she pulled out an invitation to Paulina's party.

"Oh yeah. Paulina's the most popular girl at the school. Or at least was before you two came. Not to mention loaded. Anyone to get an invitation would be one of the luckiest kids on earth." Tucker explained.

As the day slowly crept to an end, everyone went their separate ways. Those invited to Paulina's party rushed home to get ready. The birthday girl in question however, who should have been preparing for her party, was instead making her way through the old train yard which once housed circus gothica. The girl had constantly checked her surroundings to see if she were being followed. After making sure the coast was clear, she had proceeded to one of the empty box cars which was the current base of operations for the trix. Icy had gotten up when she saw Paulina approach them.

"So, did you give all of them invites?" Asked Icy.

"Yeah. Even that techno geek friend of his. It almost killed me pretending to be nice to her." Paulina hissed. Exactly why did I have to invite them again?"

"Now, you know that if you only invited him, his girlfriend would get suspicious. And then she'd never let him go." Said Darcy.

"All right. I held up my end of the bargain. Now you have to make sure Danny falls for me and dumps that goth girl!" Said Paulina.

"Consider it Done." Smiled Darcy.

It seems that some people never change. Even knowing that the hero halfa has already found his special someone, Paulina still believes that she and him should be together. And she's willing to go as far as striking a deal with the sinister trix to achieve her goal.

Is it really a good idea for Danny to go to this party? Regardless, this party is sure to be anything but dull. And what of Bloom's dark half? Is she really so chained that she's lost her power to influence the red-head for at least a day?

Chapter 8:Alliance with the Trix! A sweet and sour sixteen!

(A/n): Sorry if there wasn't so much fighting in this one as there was the earlier chapters. Got a bit enthralled with Paulina's side story. Rest assured though, a big fight scene is waiting at Paulina's party among other things.
