Insert - Witty I Don't Own Anything Line
Hey Babes! So I had a busy weekend and had no chance to write with exams and general life.. but here is a chapter. I am enjoying reading the review, so many motivational things, and perspectives put across! Please feel free to express your ideas, opinions, thoughts, I would love to hear them. Sorry to disappoint but this is a short chapter.
All mistakes are mine, I hope you enjoy :)
Looking down at her leg, she noticed a difference, a uniqueness in this leg one different from many others, she didn't know what was different about it but something was. "Callie this is your leg."
"Surprise, you noticed?" Callie almost bashfully replied.
"Well kinda, no one has a leg to go right away usually, I saw a hint of the pink carbon fiber under the skin which perfectly matches. I'm guessing our mini talk was taken into account. Anyways...This is amazing. Have you tried to get this in production?"
"Nope, this one is one of a kind, like you." Reality defies definition. As humans, using our consciousness to help us survive, at some point we tried to start to make sense of things. We use a structure with multi-faceted systems of meaning to represent reality. We can't just make a decision about a person and assume you know everything it will never change. By nature of your definitions using a language structure, it can never fully capture a person. We have too many dimensions and qualities, and changes, all happening at once. Sometimes people, circumstances or life changes, just stop trying to put your finger on a thing and enjoy being in its presence. Arizona has changed over time, so has Callie, but reality and society never changed their love for each other.
"Thank you, Calliope."
"I have one more surprise, kind of."
Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.
(Dr. Torres, You have a consult in ten.)
"Damn it, I have to go… dinner tonight?"
"It's a date! I wanna know the surprise!" Arizona pouted.
"Tonight… maybe."
I head to the elevator pressing… well actually slamming the button repeatedly I wait from the unfortunately slow elevator. Ugh… I hate this elevator. No actually, I love this elevator, it is great for kissing but right now it couldn't go any slower. Giving up I head to the stairs and run down, I choose to walk as it would be faster than driving right now.
Finishing my consult, I return to filling in charts, and completing paperwork, or actually downing coffee and thinking about this dinner. Wait date… first not first date?! What do I wear? Where do we go?
My shift ends early today, and Arizona got discharged over an hour ago. Teddy took her home along with an overjoyed Hurricane Sofia who was "secretly" promised ice cream.
I send a quick text to Arizona.

Time flew by as Callie set up for our date.
Thoughts fill my mind, some good, some bad. All of them seemed important or at least to me, and I would like for them to be answered at some point.
Candles scattered around the dimly lit living room, there was light music playing, the curtains were open showcasing Seattle's street lit skyline. Her condo was calm, and peaceful, unlike Callie who was looking at her reflection for the 5th time due to her nerves. Her features outlined by a high rise black jeans, and a deep green lace top, see-through enough for her lover's mind to wander. She wore light makeup and threw her curly hair up into a messy ponytail.
*Knock, Knock, Knock*
Taking one last look at herself in the mirror, Callie checks the time, five minutes early, as usual, she couldn't help but chuckle to herself at the smaller woman's antics.
Callie's breath hitched opening the door, her mind went all fuzzy, and all of a sudden Callie's mouth was extremely dry and she was thirsty.
"Hello to you too Calliope!"
"You look… just wow." Callie could barely get words out of her mouth. Arizona wore white jeans slightly cuffed at the bottom, burgundy shirt, the majority of the buttons were undone revealing hints of her chest, revealing a heart necklace. The one where a lifetime of promise was made. "So do you, Dr. Torres."
"Umm… come on in." She breaks bones for a living, she talks to families and patients along with doctors and nurses all day long but only one person could take her breath away and that was Dr. Arizona Robbins. The least she could do was say a few words without stumbling.
"Thanks… these are for you!" Arizona hands a bouquet of flowers. "Yes I know these aren't roses, but when were we even orthodox?"
"Thank you, I am going to put these in some water." Callie sneaks a peck on Arizona's check while grabbing her well thought out flowers. "Would you like something to drink? Wine, water, soda?"
"Hmm.. wine please."
Callie returns to the table, with two glasses of wine, one white, one red.
"Before this progress, I would like to say something, just listen please." Arizona nodded at the statement.
Both women couldn't help taking a large sip of their prefer liquid courage.
"Arizona I don't think I can do this."
Is that a cliffhanger I see, what's going to happen? Do you know? ;)
