Nico should have concentrated more. That he was sure. Why? Because he had to swim to the surface to see where he was.

"Where the hell are we?" Pansy asked him as the others swam up.

"Is everybody here?" Nico ignored her, more worried about having to search for the others.

"I think so." Said Theo as looked around; Harry and Ginny had just appeared. Blaise and Draco were swimming in their direction.

Astoria was still holding Nico's hand. Both blushed and quickly let go. Nico looked around, he knew where he was, and he just wanted to be sure that no one else was there. Good, everyone is here.

"Again, where are we?" Pansy asked putting her wet hair back in a ponytail.

"Not in the place I meant to be, but technically makes sense why we ended up here." Nico said annoyed.

"This place looks like where Roman emperors would take a bath…" Harry commented and the others agreed. For the first time ever none of us is fighting each other, Nico thought.

"Close enough. Here are the baths of Camp Jupiter. I must have been thinking of water for a second, and fortunately, we ended up here." The son of Hades explained. "I need you all to stay quiet, don't speak unless I permit you. If you show any kind of threat, you're doomed."

"Why would we do that?" Harry asked.

"Do you want to die?" Nico asked annoyed. Harry paled, but didn't answer "Good. Here, wizards are known as Legacies of Trivia. So, if someone asks, you are a Legacy of Trivia. Okay?" they all nodded. "Now I need to find a friend."

They got out of the baths, all wet, and Nico took a sip of Snape's Nectar making his strength grow.

Outside was dark, but Nico wasn't bothered, actually, he liked it. However, he couldn't say the same about the others. The only ones who didn't seem bothered were Astoria and Theo.

"Where exactly are we?" Astoria asked curious walking by Nico's side.

"San Francisco, California." He answered and her eyes looked like they were pop out of her head.

They stopped in front of a cabin. Nico gestured them to stop "I'm going in. I don't want her to freak out with people she doesn't know inside her cabin. She's a bit aggressive and we're all paranoid here."

The wizards noticed his tone in a bit, but said nothing about it, nor did they comment about the paranoid part. The pale boy shadow traveled inside without making a sound. The girl was sleeping calmly in her bed. The only times he had seen her so calm were when she was asleep during their trip with Athena Parthenos to Camp Half-Blood.

Nico decided that he should wake her up calmly since he knew how she was definitely not a morning person "Reyna" he said and shook her gently. Her eyes snapped open and then she did what he would never have expected her to do.

She screamed.

It was a girly scream he never expected to come out of her. And then he felt a sharp pain on his head and he couldn't see for a couple seconds. Nico opened his eyes and saw her holding a frying pan. A freaking frying pan.

Then, when he dropped on his knees, she saw who she had hit with the damn frying pan. "Nico Di Angelo! What are you doing in my bedroom at…" Reyna looked at the electronic clock on her bedside table "four thirty in the freaking morning?" she asked angrily. Happy note, she was still holding the frying pan.

"What was that for?" he asked rubbing his head to ease the pain.

"You just showed up out of nowhere in the middle of my sleep. What did you expect me to do?"

"Maybe 'long time no see, Nico' or even a punch. Why in freaking Tartarus do you have a damn frying pan near your bed?" he asked irritated and stood up feeling dizzy.

"Some people have a bat, I have a frying pan. If I carried my knife I would kill whomever that tries to wake me up and I don't want to kill everyone that tries. If I did, Jason would have died years ago!" Reyna said calming her heartbeat and lowered the frying pan. "What do you need?"

"I had an emergency. My friends and I need to stay here for a while, just enough for me to get strong enough to take them somewhere else." Nico told her and she let out a tired sigh. Reyna rubbed her eyes, something Nico noticed she always did when she was tired.

The trip made them get closer, but nothing romantic. Just friendship. Both were in need at the time, and it was good for them. Neither of them had any friends. And it was difficult time. They became quite good friends and no one understood how it happened.

"Fine. There are lots of Greeks here for the holidays anyway." She said, "Actually, almost all of the ones who stay there year round are here." Reyna put the frying pan on her bed and looked at him.

"What?" Nico asked confused.

"You don't expect me to go around camp in pajamas, do you?" she asked and rolled her eyes "I'm the Praetor, Nico, I don't and won't walk around in pajamas in my camp."

"Okay. I'll be outside." The Ambassador of Pluto left Reyna's cabin and saw Draco and Theo holding Astoria.

"Let me go! He could be in trouble!" she said angrily and then looked to his direction. "Never mind." Draco and Theo looked at the direction she was looking and saw him.

"You're bleeding, mate" Blaise said and Nico touched the side of his head Reyna hit with the frying pan. Yeah, he was bleeding.

"Reyna freaked out. For the first time ever." He explained. "I was lucky it wasn't a knife."

"People carry knives here?" Ginny asked shocked.

"Hardly. Most of us use swords or spears. Some use daggers or bow and arrow." Nico explained as Ginny, Pansy, Draco, Harry and Theo almost chocked. "What?"

"Why?" that was Pansy's turn to ask.

"To learn how to protect ourselves and for a war"

"Let's hope not for a war." Said voice from behind them as the owner closed the door behind her. "I don't want to be in a war any time soon again."

"Me neither." Nico agreed with her "Ladies and gentleman, meet my friend Reyna, but she's the Praetor, so the name comes with the title unless you're her bestie." Nico said gaining a glare from her. "Reyna, meet Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley, Pansy Parkinson, Blaise Zabini, Theodore Nott, Draco Malfoy and Astoria Greengrass."

"What exactly do you need my help for, Ambassador?" Reyna asked. Nico knew she only called him Nico when they were alone or with other friends because she had a reputation to keep.

"Obviously, I needed your permission to enter in camp with other people…"

"I guessed this part already. Why do you need me awake?" she asked tired and they could see a smirk growing on Nico's face.

"I needed someone to show them around while I talk with Tory. Privately."

"You gilipollas!" she said angrily and then took a deep breath "Fine. I needed to check the fields earlier anyway."

"Stop being so scontrosa" he replied and directed Astoria to follow him and she did.

Reyna tried to discover what he called her. "Wait! What did you call me? Your Praetor demands you to come back! Idiota!"

"What did you call her?" the girl asked him when they were far from the group.

"Grumpy, she doesn't like being called that. She just snaps and wants to kill who said that. So I did it. In Italian. She won't know for a while." Nico said and she chuckled.

"What did you want to talk about?"

"Actually it's more like what I wanted to show you." Nico smiled a little "You'll like it. I promise."

"Fine." Astoria agreed smiling back. His smile is so contagious. Why can't he smile more? Astoria tried to remember when she ever saw him smile. It was the day he gave her the necklace.

Nico walked her through the buildings. The younger Greengrass was amazed by the architecture. She never, once in her life, had seen something even close of its beauty. All she has ever seen was the typical Pureblood manors and wizard architecture.

There were only a few rays of sunshine illuminating the sky. "Close your eyes." Nico whispered in her ear. Astoria did as he said trying to calm her heart as she did so. "No peeking. Now, give me your hand." She did "Do you trust me?"

She didn't hesitate "With my life."

"Good." He said and led her to where he wanted to show her.

"Open your eyes" Nico was expectant.

Astoria opened her eyes and she swore she had never seen a garden as beautiful as that one. It overlooked the entire valley. Grapevines made a canopy overhead. There were bees buzzing everywhere. In the middle of the area is a fountain with a statue of a god. She took a guess.

"Bacchus?"

"Bull's eye" Nico complimented.

"This place, Nico, is beautiful! I don't even have words to describe it!" The girl exclaimed cheerfully. "Why are you doing this?"

"This what?"

Sometimes he can be so dense. Are all the boys like this? The green-eyed girl thought before answering. "Giving me beautiful things, showing me breathtaking places" Nico turned fifty shades of red.

Nico took a deep breath "I like to see you happy. You smile like there is nothing bad in the world, like nothing could ruin your day." Now, was Astoria's turn to turn red.

There was silence and the boy closed his eyes, he looked like he just made a hard decision "I like you. More than I should." Nico said quickly with his eyes still closed. Astoria was melting inside with his words. "And you must be thinking that I'm an idiot and…"

She kissed him.

Yes, Astoria Greengrass kissed Nico Di Angelo because he was being too cute. Yes, she thought he was cute. Besides, she liked him back, what bad would there be?

He kissed her back.

The world could end and both wouldn't care. Astoria had waited for it for too long. When they finally stopped both were grinning and panting heavily.

"Good morning, love birds"

Astoria blushed and turned to see who it was "Luna Lovegood?"

"That's me. I see it took you two a while to confess your feeling for each other." The blonde said smiling gently.

"What are you doing up this hour, Luna?" Nico asked still blushing.

"I could ask you the same thing, but I already have the answer." Blood flowed to Astoria's face "Dawn is beautiful in the Garden of Bacchus. If you want to make out more, I suggest Venus' Temple."

"Really funny, Luna. What are you doing in Camp Jupiter?" Nico asked curious as she usually stayed with her father during holidays.

"Dad wanted to hunt Nargles during Christmas, so I asked to stay here. You? And why is she here with you?"

"Death Eaters captured me. And Potter and Ginny Weasley. Astoria, Draco, Blaise, Theo and Pansy got us out. We went to Snape's residence and shadow traveled us all here." The boy explained and Luna chuckled.

"The irony. Where are the others now?"

"With Reyna" he said and Luna's eyes were about to pop out.

"The Praetor Reyna? I have to see this. Neville's here too, by the way!" Luna said and took off running to see I she could find the Praetor with the wizards.

Astoria turned to Nico "Is she always like this?"

"Thirty percent of the time. Other thirty percent genius. The forty percent left I don't understand."

"What are we now?" Astoria asked looking deep in his eyes. "Boyfriend and girlfriend?"

"I like the sound of that."

"Me too" She said and held his hand tightly.

The couple started walking. They sopped in a hill full of huge buildings, but they were different from the one's she saw when Nico was walking her to the garden. "What is this place?"

"The Temple Hill. There is one temple for each Olympian plus some others." Nico said and Astoria stared amazed by them.

They walked to a temple with plants growing and twisting themselves in the white columns of the temple. Instead of marble floor, the temple had grass with all the kinds of plants and flowers growing healthily. There was statue of a goddess in the middle of the temple.

"The day I gave you the necklace I also asked you who was your favorite goddess and you answered 'Proserpina', not Persephone. Most people know her as Persephone, except in this camp, of course." Nico said, "This is Proserpina's Temple."

"This place is amazing!" She said and gave him a peck on the lips. "Thank you for bringing me here." Astoria looked around one last time before they left. "And I also asked you who was your favorite god."

"And I answered 'Hades'"

"His Roman counterpart is Pluto. Isn't it?"

"Correct. Five points to Slytherin." Nico answered and she smiled.

"Take me there."

Nico looked shocked with her request. No one ever wanted to even get close to Pluto's temple. Well, except him and Hazel, but they were his children. "Are you serious?"

"Yes."

"That's a really odd request. But I should've guessed. You're always one for surprises." Nico said and they walked to a temple made of black marble.

There were precious metals and gemstones in random places and a statue of Pluto made of gold in the center, there were more gemstones and precious metals near the statue.

"Pluto's Temple" Astoria murmured under her breath.

"Wait here." Nico said and she stayed in the entrance of the temple while he went in the center and kneeled in front of the statue of the god.

Father? Nico asked in his mind.

Yes? Came a voice in his head that he quickly recognized as his father's.

How do I destroy a Horcrux that is inside someone else?

I see. I know how, but I'll need to speak the idiot of my brother and Trivia. This one will be more complex to destroy. Trivia will contact you if we have any improvements.

There was a silence for a moment and Nico almost gave up in why he had even gone there. He blushed and asked.

Dad?

What?

Can I tell my girlfriend the truth? Nico waited to be melted by hellfire for even asking, but it never came.

Do it! A female voice answered.

Venus? Both father and son asked.

Do what you want. As long as you finish this quest fast. However, preferably, only tell this girlfriend of yours. The less people know, the better.

Nico let out his breath he didn't know he was holding.

Thank you, Dad. Nico thanked in his mind smiling. And Venus, if you're still here.

Nico came back smiling "Tory, I need to tell you a story."
