A/N: Hey guys Happy 2014! This is my second update of the New Year as I just updated my Bella/Embry fic! Anyway I know you guys have anticipated this fight between our dear Seth and Paul so enjoy!

Disclaimer: Do I wish it was mine? Absolutely. But is it mine? Nope.

Seth POV: The last thing I heard before I exploded into a ball of oversized fur was my girl scream, "SETH NO DON'T!" I wish I could listen to her, but I was past the point of sanity. I wanted to kill Paul Lahote.

Sure enough, he phased just seconds after and launched himself at me, tackling me to the ground as we rolled into the forest.

I'm going to kill you, Clearwater! I told you to stay away from my little sister- Paul he took a vicious snap and his teeth cut into my right arm, leaving a deep gash.

Howling in pain, I pinned him to the ground, in an attempt to block his shots. Look, you know I can't do that. We're meant to be together. I love her.- Me

Paul snarled and snapped at my face. NO! SHE'S TOO YOUNG TO BE INVOLVED IN THE PACK! IT'S TOO DANGEROUS!- Paul

"PAUL STOP IT! DON'T HURT SETH!" Bella screamed running up behind him. Without realizing how close she was, Paul whipped around so fast that his paw slashed Bella across her abdomen.

"Paul NO!" I screamed in my thoughts just as Bella's shriek cut through the air and she fell to the ground.

Paul was whimpering in pain and cursing himself for his carelessness. We ran into the trees and phased back together. We both knelt down next to Bella and I held her bleeding form in my arms, pain coursing through my heart. "We need to get her to the hospital, Paul," my breathing was ragged now. I needed to get her to safety before something happened to her.

He nodded, his face streaked with tears and his eyes filled with horror. "You go, get her there as quickly as you can and I'll call Sam and the others."

Without another word I began to run, her heartbeat was fast paced, fighting and unsteady. She was losing blood too fast. I just got her. What kind of cruel joke am I in? I just got her and now I was going to lose her? I couldn't, I refused.

Thank Taha Aki for giving me the speed of a werewolf. I made it to Forks Community hospital within less than five minutes. I placed Bella on the nearest stretcher and Dr. Snow ran over. "What happened?" he asked as he looked over her quickly.

"She got attacked by a bear, we were hiking in the woods," I said breathlessly. "Please you have to help her."

"I'll do everything I can," he assured me before turning to the nurse next to him. "Johanna, wheel her down to emergency surgery quickly, we need to stitch her up, take a sample of her blood quickly and see if we have the type on hand. We need to act fast, go now please."

The nurse, Johanna, nodded quickly and ran down the corridor, wheeling Bella further and further away from me, the invisible steel cords that bound us were stretching further and further apart.

Dr. Snow seemed to sense the distress on my face. "It looked to me like you got her here in time," he assured me. "She should be fine as long as we have her blood type on hand. If not, other than the chief, is there anyone else you know that may have her blood type that can get here quick enough to save her?"

"Her brother Paul, should be here soon. How did you know she was the chief's daughter?"

He chuckled lightly. "Charlie talks about her so much and has so many pictures that it's hard not to know the poor girl. How long do you think her brother will take to get here?"

"Probably another five minutes," I said as the ache in my chest worsened.

"That's good. We should have her type taken by then, and we may need him for a blood donation. I'll call Charlie and spare you the anxiety attack he'll have."

My own worries were taking over as I contemplated the worst case scenarios that this could end in. It took away any ability I possessed for speech, so all I could do was slowly nod my thanks as he walked away.

I slid into a waiting room chair and put my face in my hands. This never would have happened if I had backed off like Paul had asked. No matter how much it would have killed me to do so, it still would have been better than endangering her life. Now she might die, and it would be all my fault. I just hoped, that god forbid, if she did pass away… Paul would let me tell her I loved her one last time.

Speak of the devil, because Paul and Sam stormed into the hospital and quickly scanned the waiting room. When they found me, they rushed over. "Is she alright," Paul panted, his eyes filling with tears again.

I shrugged, defeated. "I wish I knew man," I whispered. "They just wheeled her off, all I know right now is that they were going to see what her blood type is to see if she needs a transfusion or whatever before they stitch her up, and that's assuming they do it before she loses too much." A tear slipped out the corner of my eye.

"This is all my fault," Paul sobbed helplessly. "If I had just accepted your imprint… she would be okay. I wouldn't have hurt her. I'm such an idiot. And now I might lose her and she'll think I'm a jerk forever. I'm an awful brother."

"No you're not," I shook my head. "You're just overprotective. I'm the same way with Leah sometimes. But you just have to give her some space sometimes."

"You're right," he said. "But what if when I give her space, something happens to her?"

"Then you have to accept things are always going to happen. You just have to be there to help her when they do."

He nodded. "Seth?" he looked at me. "Thank you for helping me see my mistake. I just hope it isn't too late to fix it."

"Yeah," I agreed. "Me too, man. Me too." And we sat in silence, waiting for either good news or bad.

A/N: Well was that what you expected? Do you think Bella will be okay? Tell me in a review and check out the Bella/Jasper you guys voted for, which will be up by tomorrow! I love you guys!
