Ciel felt the sunray stung his eyelids and he furrowed his eyebrows as he buried himself deeper into the comfortable blanket. The thirteen-year-old male grunted and opened his eyes a little bit. He stared at the window for a few moments before slowly sat up on the bed. The young male was sure that he closed the curtains before he went to bed last night.
Come to think of it, didn't he get a nightmare? Usually, when he had nightmares, he would wake up in the middle of the night and stay up until the sun rose again from the east. Then why was he able to sleep again?
"Ciel, are you awake?" A voice called from outside. Yes, it was Sebastian. He went to sleep on the couch after Ciel was calm again and woke up earlier to make some breakfast for them.
The younger male suddenly remembered what had happened last night. He grabbed a fistful of his hair and gripped onto it as he blushed of embarrassment. Sebastian, the guy that he had a crush on, hugged him last night until he was asleep! He was even more panicked when he heard footsteps coming towards his bedroom.
Sebastian knocked several times at the door and let out a small sigh. He already took a shower in the morning because he had to go soon. Literature class would start in an hour and he didn't want to be late.
"Ciel, can I come in?" The older male called again, expecting an answer.
Ciel looked around frantically then quickly lay down on the bed again, pretending to be asleep. He actually felt guilty for lying to Sebastian, but he was too embarrassed to see his crush's face.
"Ciel?" Sebastian called once again with a softer voice as he opened the door gently. Oh, so he's still sleeping, he thought quietly to himself. He went inside the bedroom and walked over to the bed. The black haired male only let out a small 'oh' when he was sure that Ciel was still sleeping. Probably tired after yesterday.
The younger male stayed still and furrowed his eyebrows the slightest. He could know by hearing the footsteps that Sebastian was walking around his bedroom. What is he doing? Hopefully he doesn't steal my underwear like some kind of pedophile.
Ciel couldn't resist opening his eyes the slightest, peeking what Sebastian was doing. He furrowed his eyebrows a little when he saw the older male was writing something on his notepad then quickly closed his eyes again as Sebastian finished writing. The teen waited for a few moments and opened his eyes completely when he heard the front door was closed.
His hand reaching out to grab his eye patch and put it on before slowly sitting up on the bed. Ciel took a glance at the notepad on his desk and got up from the bed, walking over to the desk. The teen hesitated at first, but after a few moments, he picked up the notepad and began to read Sebastian's writing on the piece of paper.
Hey, I'm off to college until 2 pm and go to work
as soon as classes are over. I already make some
breakfast for you. I'll try to stop by when I can
Sebastian
A very faint smile made its way to Ciel's lips and placed the notepad back onto the desk. He left his bedroom and took a quick glance at the clock before he continued to walk towards the kitchen. The teen's stomach growled slightly when he saw two ham and cheese sandwiches on the plate and a glass of orange juice. From the smell, his breakfast should have a great taste.
"…I'm really hungry." Ciel mumbled to himself and pulled out one chair before sitting down. He still wondered why Sebastian was so kind to him. He was nothing to him, right? They just met about two or three days ago.
With his heart hammering against his chest from thinking about Sebastian, he picked up one sandwich then took a bite. The young male's eyes widened as his eyebrows rose. The ham and cheese sandwich was really delicious! Ciel continued to eat his breakfast and finished after a moment or two. He wiped away the breadcrumbs on his lips with his hand then drank the cold orange juice. This was the best breakfast he had ever had so far.
Now, what to do? It was still around 8 in the morning and he would be able to see Sebastian later at 2 in the afternoon. Ciel let out a tired sigh and decided to take a shower after a moment of staring at his empty plate blankly.
08:32 AM
"So, can I take that as a yes?" A voice asked from the phone. Yes, it was Alois, again.
"Yeah." Ciel answered then ended the call. If he didn't do that, Alois would keep talking until the next three days. Seriously, that blonde was such a motor mouth.
The one-eyed teen walked grabbed his wallet and put it inside his pocket before putting on his denim jacket. The weather was a little bit chilly outside. Ciel took his keys and slipped on his sneakers, then exited his apartment. A moment ago, Alois called him and said that he wanted to meet up with him. Ciel wasn't busy, so he agreed.
He pocketed his keys and left the building, headed towards the park nearby. He shivered slightly when he felt the cold air through his jacket. Good thing he wore layers of clothes, so it wasn't really cold. After five or ten minutes of walking, he was standing in front of the gate of the park.
"Hey, Ciel!" Alois waved to his friend, a cheerful smile tugged on his lips and jogged towards Ciel. He gave a light hug to his friend—just as usual, and then released the hug.
"So, tell me about this important person." The blonde asked with a teasing smirk tugged on his lips, raising an eyebrow the slightest.
"What important person?" Ciel knotted his eyebrows as a frown made its way to his small lips.
"Oh, you remember when you didn't allow me to come over just because someone else was going to visit you. Who was it?"
Ciel's face turned crimson once he got that question. Just thinking of Sebastian made his heart go a little bit crazy. "Nothing. No one. It wasn't important at all." The shorter male answered rather quickly.
"Liar!" Alois frowned and crossed his arms, feeling a little upset just because Ciel was being secretive. Ciel wasn't really surprised when Alois acted like a little boy—it was some kind of the side effect of being bipolar.
The one-eyed made clicked his tongue in annoyance, knowing that there was no point in arguing now. He opened his mouth to answer but got interrupted by a loud ringtone from his phone. Alois noticed the blush on his friend's cheeks when Ciel took out his phone and answered the call.
"S-Sebastian?" Ciel tried to stay calm but he ended up stuttering, again.
Oh, so that's his name.
"You sound surprised. Am I bothering you?" Sebastian asked and anxiously tapped his index finger on the desk as he glanced around at times. He was in a hurry.
"No, not at all. What is it?"
"I think I left my papers at your place. I can't find them in my bag." The black haired male looked up at the clock and sighed. He had another class in ten minutes and he had to submit the paper in an hour.
"Oh… W-want me to bring them to you?" The thought of meeting Sebastian again made him feel… A little embarrassed.
"Yes, please. I have to submit them in an hour and I have a class in a few minutes for half an hour."
"Oh, I'll go there by taxi in a moment." Ciel finally answered. He could go to there by bus or maybe taxi. He blinked a few times when Sebastian suddenly ended the call and looked down at the screen. Oh well, maybe Sebastian was already in class.
Alois glanced at Ciel with a suspicious look plastered his face, leaning closer to the one-eyed male. "Sooo, are you going to tell me about Sebastian or not?" He said, a small frown curved his lips. He was a bit peeved because Ciel hadn't told him anything about this guy. He was his friend after all.
"No." Ciel answered shortly. "By the way, I have to go now, sorry."
"Whaaat?" Alois pouted and watched his friend left the park. Great.
The blonde just stayed there for a bit before a bright idea popped out. A small smirk curved Alois' lips as he looked around for a bit and left the park also.
