HIIIIIII! I know I've been gone for a while, but I've been busy with stuff. Anyway, this is yet again another flashback, and Piper Grace is still reading her mother's letter. That's all I had to say. Let's go with it shall we?

Ever since that day, Piper felt really awkward around Jason. She realized that they started to hang out less. Sure, they still played basketball every morning, and they were still very close, but they seemed to be slowly and unnoticeably drifting apart. And when they would play basketball, Piper would often let her guard down, and lose focus. She would still win, but not by much. Piper started to tend to hang out with Annabeth more often. She was just so confused.

Jason, on the other hand was happy. He and Reyna had been hanging out more often. He was so convinced that she was the one. As he was walking to his first period class, his roommate Percy pulled him aside. "Guess what," Percy asked excited.

"What"

"The Stolls are throwing a party on Saturday night."

Jason thought about all the parties the Stolls had thrown through out all the years. They were always badass. He began to get very excited like Percy. He started off to tell Piper, when he noticed Reyna. He walked toward her. He was going to ask her to be his date to the party. "Hey Reyna," he called out to her. She turned around confused, but when she saw his face, she smiled.

"Hey"

"I want to ask you something"

"Yeah"

Jason breathed heavily. Here goes nothing, he thought. "The Stolls are throwing a party Saturday night, and I was hoping you could come with me," he blurted out. Reyna raised her eyebrows. She smiled, and replied, "I'd love to." Just then, the bell rang signaling that it was time for first period. Reyna quickly kissed Jason's cheek, and walked off to her first class.

Then Jason noticed Piper passing by. He called her over. When she came over, Jason told her the good news about the party. Her colorful eyes shown with happiness and excitement.

"And guess what else," he said with even more excitement.

"What?"

"I asked Reyna to be my date, and she said yes."

When he said that, Piper felt all of her insides drop. Her face fell, but she regained herself before Jason could notice. "That's awesome, I'm so happy for you," she said with fake excitement, "but I have to get to class." She walked off leaving a confused Jason. Usually Piper would have made a sarcastic joke about it or punched him to congratulate him. But she was just so calm about. He shrugged it off and headed to his first period class.

To Piper it seemed that the week passed by very slowly, but Saturday finally came. She was so excited. She quickly changed into some black jeans and a T-shirt. She was about to head out when Annabeth saw her. She stopped her in her tracks. "Aren't you going to put makeup on or something," she asked. Piper laughed. Annabeth playfully glared at her. "You do know that there's nothing wrong with acting like a girl," Annabeth added. Piper rolled her eyes, and said, "It's just a party." And with that, she left the room.

Jason however, took a very long time to get ready. He thought that everything had to be perfect for Reyna. After two hours of getting ready, he met Reyna standing outside her dorm building. She was wearing a simple purple dress and her hair was tied in a braid to the side. She was beautiful.

"So are we going to go or not," Reyna asked breaking Jason out of his thoughts. "Of course," he answered. He took her hand and they walked to the recreation center where the party was taking place.

Piper walked into the party with confidence. She scanned the room for Annabeth. She found her with Percy, and went to talk to her. She also spotted Miss Hestia. She was the chaperone for the dance that night. Moments later, Jason walked in with Reyna. She looked beautiful, and Jason looked very happy. Again, Piper's insides dropped. No, she scolded herself; you can't let some boy ruin your night. She regained her confidence, and walked up to Jason.

"How's your date going," she asked.

"Amazing," he replied, "I'm almost certain she's the one." Those words hit Piper's heart like an arrow. But before Jason could see any emotion, she forced a smile and said, "Are you sure, because you seem to have a history." Jason glared at her playfully and joined in her laughter. "I have to go back Reyna's waiting," he said. Piper again forced a smile and waved goodbye.

Soon the Stolls started playing music, and people started dancing. Jason and Reyna were also dancing. They were dancing pretty close. Piper turned around. She couldn't torture herself like this anymore. She turned around again and was in for a surprise.

Reyna was elated. She realized that she really like Jason. They were dancing together close, but not inappropriately. They're eyes met, and they stopped dancing. Jason leaned in and kissed her. He quickly jerked his head back, as if he was scared. Reyna smirked, and pressed her lips to his. Her brain turned to mush. She had kissed guys before, but this felt different.

When Piper saw them kiss, her instincts took over her, and she ran out the building, and sat on the grass outside. She buried her face in her knees and began to tear. She repeatdly called herself stupid for thinking that she had a chance with Jason, and for crying like a weak girl, but the tears wouldn't stop coming. Miss Hestia saw her run outside, and followed her. She was confused why Piper ran out. She eventually put things together, and realized it was because of Jason.

Piper heard footsteps. She looked up, but didn't see anybody. "Why are you crying," said a voice behind her. Piper turned around frightened, and found out that the voice belonged to Miss Hestia. She tried to dry her tears, but it was too late. She couldn't tell Miss Hestia that it was because of some boy. She made up an excuse. "It's nothing," she said, "Just missing my parents."

Miss Hestia knew she was lying, but went along with it. She consoled her the best she could. "Are you coming back into the party," Miss Hestia asked.

"No I'm really tired. I'm going to back to my dorm."

"You sure"

"Yeah goodnight"

"Goodnight. Be safe."

When she got to her dorm, she lay wide awake thinking, she couldn't go to sleep. She was up when Annabeth came in at about two o' clock in the morning.

"Why did you leave the party early," Annabeth asked. "I wasn't feeling well," Piper answered. Annabeth could tell that she was lying. "What's the real reason," she asked. Piper then spilled everything about Jason, and why she left. Annabeth, surprised, attempted to console her. But Piper insisted that she was okay. After Annabeth had fallen asleep, Piper lay awake for another hour thinking about the things happening in her heart. In her head she heard the words Love is Friendship over and over again.

Okay that was kind of bad. Again I'm so sorry for not updating for a long time. I was so busy with tests and schoolwork. It's like teachers forget that we're human. But anyway, I'll try harder to update every Sunday or at least Monday. Please read and review, or PM me.
