A/N: Heyo! Sorry I'm so late with this update, I got caught up with a different story I started called the Black Priest of Roanapur. It's a Black Lagoon fic, in case any of you wanted to check it out.
And now, the moment you've all been waiting for, the winner of the poll is...
Fem Fright Knight... And Teenage Dani? Wow, a tie. I can't decide between the two, so you know what? I'm going to compromise. They both win. Is some of you don't like that, feel free to let me know about it.
Dani's going to be the same age as Danny in this fic, so yeah.
Also, why is nobody sending evil OCs? Come on, people!
Now, on with the story!

Chapter Seven: Safe Return and Surprise Visitor
"Kitty, quit fussing." Said William. "I'm fine." The group was almost home, and Kitty spent the whole time worrying about William's whip wounds.
"No, you're not fine!" Said Kitty, tears in her eyes. "Why did you have to do that? Why would you risk your life for those mortals? They wouldn't have done the same for you."
"That's the way I am." Answered William. Danny nodded, floating beside the young fire ghost. They'd managed to find William's shirt and jacket, and he was wearing them as they went home. They saw the welcome to Amity Park sign, and sped up slightly, wanting to get some rest. They stopped just outside of town.
"Well, I'll be seeing you guys later." Said William, before Johnny grabbed his wrist.
"Where do you think you're going?" Asked Johnny. "You're coming back to the H.Q. with us."
"Johnny, while I appreciate you worrying about me, I need to be alone right now." William floated away again, but Ember suddenly pulled him back by the wrist and gave him a tentative kiss on the lips.
"Be careful." Said Ember, blushing slightly. William nodded with a blush of his own.
"I will." Said William. He floated away, and Ember returned to the group, whom were all staring at her.
"What?" She asked. "He can work the whip scars."
"Dude, stop by my place later!" Danny called. William merely gave him a thumbs up without looking back.
AT WILLIAM'S HOSPITAL
As soon as William floated in through the door, he was glomped as Desiree tackled him with affection.
"Where have you been?" She asked, holding him in a tight embrace.
"I was visiting a few friends." William gave a half answer. Desiree peered at him, before smiling.
"Did you have a nice time?" She asked pleasantly. William nodded.
"Oh, yeah. It was a blast. Can I get up, now?" He asked. Desiree suddenly realized that they were on the ground... With her on top of him. She blushed profusely, getting up quickly. William scratched his cheek absently. She was a harem girl, wasn't she? Why does she seem so shy?
"Anyway, why were you waiting for me?" William fixed her with a stare.
"Well, I came to see what you were doing." Answered Desiree. "I haven't seen you lately, so..."
"You saw me yesterday." Said William, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, that's too long!" Said Desiree. That's when William felt it. Something tugging at the back of his mind. What is that?
"Desiree, stay here." Said William. Desiree crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow.
"And what makes you think I'll do that?" She asked.
"I wish you'd do as I say." Said William, staring her in the eye. She glared at him, stomping her foot and turning away.
"Fine. You have wished it, so it may be." She mumbled. "Don't take too long."
"I'm sorry, Desiree." Said William pleadingly. "It's just... Things happened today, that got me thinking that maybe we ghosts aren't so... Untouchable. I'll be right back." William walked to the door of his room and looked down the halls. He heard a crash coming from downstairs, so he floated down to see what.(Using the stairs, unfortunately.)
"Who's there!?" He called. He heard what sounded like somebody ruffling around, along with the sounds of rocks falling. Suddenly, William had to jump out of the way of an ecto laser, pointed straight at him. Another laser was fired at him, but William used his weird orange aura to create a mirror and deflect the laser right back at the person that fired first, adding a bit of his own juice into it. There was a feminine cry of surprise, and what sounded like an object hitting a wall. William ran towards the downed figure, his breath catching in his throat. He didn't hurt the person, did he?
"A-Are you alright!?" He called, running to the downed woman. Turning her over on her back, William froze. She was an almost exact replica of Danny, except more feminine. She was actually pretty cute. Damn it, Willy. Don't be thinking about that right now. You need to get this girl upstairs, quick.
UPSTAIRS
"Ow, what hit me?" Dani asked herself.
"That would be me. Sorry about that." Said a young man Dani didn't recognize. He was pretty short for a guy, being slightly shorter than herself. His hair was black, with frosted, electric blue bangs hanging in front of his handsome, lightly scarred face. He was wearing a black jacket with fur on the cuffs, base of the jacket, and around his neck. Dani couldn't see the back of it, so she couldn't be sure if there was anything on the back. What drew her attention, though, were the multiple whip scars criss crossing his chest and stomach. Then, Dani realized how she got there in the first place.
"You shot at me!" Dani accused, pointing her finger at him.
"Actually, you shot at me." He corrected. "I just deflected the shot." That's when another ghost entered the room, this one Dani recognized.
"Deiree!? What are you doing here?" Dani suddenly shot to her feet to confront the genie-like ghost. Desiree frowned at the girl, preparing her own attack. The ghost boy jumped between them, holding his arms out wide.
"Hey, now. None of that!" He smiled, trying to calm the two down. "We need to just chill out here. What's your name?"
"Danielle Phantom. But everyone just calls me Dani." Answered the girl.
"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Dani. My name's William 12." He said, holding his hand out to Dani. She grabbed it firmly.
"12?" She asked.
"Well, my best friend was Johnny 13 when we were both alive, and people used to make cracks about me becoming a little him." Answered William, letting go of Dani's hand. She smiled at him.
"Wait, what are you doing here?" Asked Dani. "This is where I usually hide out when I'm in town."
"I started staying here yesterday." Said William. "I lived on my bike when I was alive, and had nowhere to "Haunt," so I figured I'd go to the place where I was last alive."
"That's kind of cliche and depressing." Said Dani, giving William a deadpan look. He scratched his cheek.
"Yeah, Johnny always said I had a pretty dark outlook on life when we were, you know, alive." William sat down cross legged. "I guess maybe if I had spent less time worrying, and more time having fun, I might have actually died with more friends than just Johnny and Kitty." Desiree looked like she wanted to give William a hug, but Dani beat her to it, sitting down next to him and throwing her right arm around his shoulders.
"Hey, you got yourself a second chance now, right?" She asked, smirking to herself as Desiree fumed.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." He stood up, brushing himself off. "Who wants ice cream?"
"I don't have any money." Said Dani.
"Neither do I." Said William, grinning ear to ear. "That's where ghost powers come in handy."
