Chapter 7: Days around (Pt.1)
Dr. Cain was frustrated.
How did it even come like this? He was used to get patients from the prison in this city. Sometimes even some of his patients went there and not the other way around. He was also used to get one just to study him, so that the police guards could get a way around with him or just to get some information about various things. So he wasn't surprised that he got a new one. The policeman in charge told him that he was a "tuff" one, but they said the same thing to all the other prisoners he got from them. And what happened now?
He had been sitting here since four hours and the only thing that he got from this Dark Ace are insults or silence. Okay, he was also used to insults and silence, but not for four hours in a row. He needed a break.
"Ok Mister Ace" Dr. Cain stood up from the chair he had been sitting on.
"We will stop for today, you can take a rest now"
"Finally" the Dark Ace said in relief and let himself fall back in a chair in his new cell "I thought this nonsense would never stop"
Ouch, another scratch to the Doctor's pride. Dr. Cain went sullenly back to his office. The Dark Ace watched him leave with an amused grin.
So, this would be his new cell for a while. He looked around. It was complete white, a big contrast to himself, there was a thick glass wall between him and the floor with a little window, so that you could shove things like food inside. There was a bed in the corner and an offside toilette, built so that no one could see him including the cameras. He looked up. There was a little bared window on top of the wall, which let some sunlight in.
He sat onto his bed, which was not the most comforting thing.
Man he thought this sure is going to be boring
Maybe I can visit him Aerrow thought.
His dad surprisingly greeted him from the Dark Ace and told him where he was now. His dad didn't have anything against him, if it were not for the Dark Ace to be in prison and that he's actually a Cyclonian Commander then maybe, maybe they could have been friends. Although Aerrow feared that he would one day betray his father, but that's just how the Dark Ace is. Aerrow laughed at that thought. He actually heard them once talk friendly with each other about something they both liked, even though Aerrow did not hear what it was, it was only for a short while. But still, they kind of seemed to enjoy each other. Well, kind of.
But there had to be a reason why the Dark Ace was in a psychiatry. He should be more careful around him. Maybe he disfigured someone, again.
Okay, maybe he should listen more to his father's words and maybe he would have to work on his crush the next time. Well, if there was a next time. He was seriously so very absorbed into the Dark Ace that the thought of another girl or boy felt kind of wrong.
Aerrow rolled onto his side on his bed. He thought about their last talk. Sadly it had just been a chat and no other meeting. When he thought back, their meeting had been really short and he wanted to get more information. Like what his old favorite pirate story was about. He looked to his side where his book shelve was. A storybook caught his eyes. With a sigh he stood up and went to get it. It was one of the books he got when he was still in elementary school but he didn't really read it back then. He sat back onto his bed and looked at it. There was a big boat on the sea with many sails on the cover.
Pirate stories, huh?
The Dark Ace was bored. That pseudo Doctor had come back a little while ago but that didn't help very much. What was he supposed to do in a room with literally nothing in it. In prison he had at least been able to pick on the guard outside (it was very funny how ape like they became when they were angry) or have a little chat with Lightning Strike (he wouldn't get angry when you picked on him, too professional), he was ok. He could bully the Doctor but he wasn't half as funny as those big (or compared to him little) monkeys in prison. The doctor never got angry, only frustrated and such things, which was also funny but still not funny enough. Well, scarred squirrels were just not as funny as angry gorillas.
"Mister Ace?"
"Oh, I forgot you were still here."
Dr. Cain sighed, he should have guessed.
"Since this seems to get nowhere-"
"Slow Starter"
"- we will continue tomorrow."
An again frustrated Dr. Cain took his chair and wanted to go away when the Dark Ace suddenly said something.
"You said I was allowed to get something to read out of the library here when I asked."
Dr. Cain stood there for a while, a bit startled, but then he silently nodded.
"Then get me a story book with fairy tales."
I'm back (in black)
I know, this chapter is pretty short, again TTヮTT sry
But I didn't want to let you wait too long
This psychiatry arc isn't a super important and meaningful one, so please don't start to think too much into it
And I just wanted to thank you all again (๑´ᴗ`๑)
The next chapter will probably take very long (again, orz sry)
