The blood dripped from his arm down upon the dead man's white armor. Theon smiled. He looked around to inspect the battlefield. There were more Dornish corpses than Rivermen, but they were dead all the same. Ser Baelor was dead, and his men (there were no more than fifty left) were routing down toward Stone Hedge. Ser Denys Blackwood stepped up beside him, his face spattered with gore.

"Shall we persue?" he wondered.

"No. Let them retreat, Ser Baelor took more than three quarters of his men here" Theon replied.

"You think they will open the gates to us?"

"Aye. There is less than two hundred men left in Stone Hedge. How many did we lose?"

"Six hundred, I'd say, maybe a little less"

Theon nodded.

Stone Hedge, the Riverlands, 417

Theon rode up to the gates of the Bracken castle, flanked by Ser Denys and Ser Hoster.

"Who's in command!?" he shouted.

"I am" a man in bloody mail emerged into sight, he wore the flame badge of the Ullers.

"Who might you be?" asked Ser Denys, who apparently did not see the badge.

"Ser Oberyn Uller! Who are you!?"

Theon replied.

"I am Prince Theon of the Trident. This is Ser Hoster Frey, and this is Ser Denys Blackwood, heir to Raventree!"

"Open your gates, Ser Oberyn and you and all your men will be spared" said Ser Hoster.

The Dornishman ignored him.

"Is Ser Baelor your captive? None of the men that escaped seem to know what happened to him"

"I slew Ser Baelor Hightower myself, the Silent Sisters are preparing his bones' journey south to Oldtown"

"I see. And to you, Frey, I say no"

Ser Hoster's face turned red.

"Would you have us storm your walls then? Is that what you want!?" he shouted.

"At the first sight of a storm I'll take the red foal's head off"

The red foal, whose real name was Garth Bracken, was the eighth and youngest son (and child) of Lord Bracken, he was a boy of five.

"Have you no honor!?" shouted Ser Denys Blackwood, who did not house any ill-will at all to House Bracken, even though the two Houses had been quarreling for centuries.

"I have Dornish honor" replied Ser Oberyn Uller and removed himself from sight.
