Trini's funeral was two days later. Rosita had remained quiet since Zach's breach into the basement and it seemed like it would stay this way as we all loaded into Tommy and Rocky's cars to head to the funeral. Jason was meeting us there, him tending to the arrangements and Trini's parents. I had gone over to help him when her parents flew in, her mother beyond herself as she hugged me. The Kwan's had moved to Boston after Trini had went to college, hoping to be closer to the firm her father worked. Both looked as if they hadn't slept since they heard the news and my heart broke when they asked me about the last time I had spoken to their daughter. I lied and said we had gone shopping together after the reunion. I wished I could tell them that their daughter had been helping the Power rangers defend the Earth so they could be proud of her, but I knew I couldn't. They would be in greater danger then.

The weather was gloomy as we left the Command Center, but the sun managed to poke it's way through as Tommy pulled into the parking lot of the funeral home. Cars filled the parking lot, making us par on the street in front. Lines of people were waiting to get in at the doors, making me smile slightly. Trini had been so loved. I was glad to see that so many people had come to pay their respects. Billy climbed out of the back of Tommy's jeep while I undid the seat belt. Tommy took my hand in his and kissed the back of it gently. "I love you." He whispered before hopping out himself. I followed suit, meeting him at the end of the vehicle where Billy, Aisha and Rocky now stood. Adam was arriving today, promising to come straight here as soon as his plane landed. He had had difficult getting a plane on such short notice but had finally managed to snag the last seat in one from Chicago. I was looking forward to seeing him but wished it could be under happier reasons.

Taking my hand, Tommy led our team towards the funeral home. We joined the back of the line, stopping behind a group of people who we had gone to school with. We made small talk, catching up. I stayed silent though, observing the other people around us. I didn't feel like talking and I didn't feel like doing anything that required energy. I wished with everything in me that this didn't have to happen and that I could rewind the clock back to three days ago when Trini was still alive. I couldn't though.

Inside the home, Jason was standing in the side parlor. Zach was sitting in the chair next to him, his arm in a cast from the finger tips all the way up to his shoulder. His face was also bruised and still slightly swelled but he looked a lot better now than he did when he first teleported to the Command Center. He had woken up yesterday, the medical chamber repairing his organs and other major injuries. Sadly, his arm would take time and he had insisted on coming to the funeral today. He had taken the news like the rest of us, unable to believe what Tommy and I told him. He left for Jason's after that, staying with him until after everything was over. He would need to return to the medical chamber to continue his healing or else he would not be able to use his arm correctly in the future. Both boys wore black suits with their respective colors under. Tommy, Billy and Rocky had done the same. Aisha had chosen a canary yellow blouse with a black pencil skirt. For myself, I had dressed in a soft pink dress, a black cardigan over my shoulders. Each of us had a yellow rose pinned to us, an idea that Aisha and I had come up with this morning. Zach and Jason also wore one, all of standing out in the sea of grieving people.

Jason looked just as tired today as he did yesterday. His parents had decided to keep JC until he was ready to take him. Jase had dark circles under his eyes but he had at least shaven today. His hair was slicked back but I could tell his cheerful self was gone. I was afraid it would never return, his life completely different now that Trini was gone. We each hugged him, my arms lingering around his neck longer than everyone else. We had talked the night before, him telling me his plans now that Trini wasn't here. He was taking JC to stay with his uncle for a while, hoping to keep him away while we take care of Rosita. He was going to keep his communicator and asked to be updated as we fought against her. I knew he wanted to fight with us but there was no way any of us would allow him to risk leaving JC an orphan. I was glad he was going somewhere safe. If for some reason Rosita ended up with the upper hand, I hated to think about him and JC being in the line of danger. It was bad enough the rest of the civilians here in Angel Grove were at risk. We had tried to contact the mayor to set up some sort of evacuation plan but it hadn't gone over well. He didn't believe us that there was a great danger hidden under the Tricotta hotel. Now, we would have to face off with Rosita before Serpentera was completed and hope we can stop her for good.

The calling hours went for some time and then we headed off to the cemetery. We stood in the back, allowing her family to fill in the chairs by the grave side. Jason sat in the middle, his mother sitting next to him. He adorned sunglasses now, tears slipping out under them as they carried his wife's casket over to the open grave. Trini had been dressed in a yellow silk dress, her hair done in a long black braid and she looked like she could sit up and kick some ass at any moments. Now with the casket closed, it began to sink in that this was the end of her story. The pastor read some pieces to the group and then she was lowered into the ground. Someone handed out yellow roses and people lined up to toss them into the hole on top of the dark maple wood casket. I followed my team mates as we joined the line. I gripped the flower I had been handed tightly, the thorns digging into my palm. I ignored the pain, tears streaming down my face as I let the flower fall from my fingertips. I knew I was going to spend the rest of my life missing Trini but I also knew that I couldn't fall apart right now. Rosita was our biggest concern right now and keeping the world safe.

Back at the Command Center, we were met with Adam standing in the control room. He was talking to Alpha and Zordon as we entered. Always the quiet one, Adam didn't speak as he walked over to us. He quickly hugged Aisha and I tightly before turning to hug Tommy and Rocky. Billy brought in the rear, hugging Adam as well. Adam looked pretty much the same as the last time I had seen him. His black hair was cut short and slight stubble was growing on his chin. He looked exhausted from his flight and his tan t-shirt was wrinkled. "Sorry I missed the funeral. My plane was delay. I had to spend an extra three hours in Idaho before we headed to California." He said, frowning. "How's Jason doing?"

"He'll be okay." Tommy replied, slipping an arm around my shoulders. "We're glad you're here, man. Did Alpha and Zordon fill you in on everything?" Adam nodded, shoving his hands into the pockets of his jeans.

"Yeah. Sorry about Zach. Is he doing okay?"

"He's up and walking around." Aisha replied, walking towards the Viewing Globe.

"He still has a long way to go. We wouldn't have called you if it wasn't so important." Rocky piped in, crossing his arms in front of him. There was an odd tension in the air between Rocky and Adam. I wasn't quite sure why though. Last I knew, the two had been on good terms. They had even hugged a few moments ago. Did something happen I wasn't aware of?

"I understand. So, Zedd and Rita had another kid. Awesome. And Serpentera is still around? How the hell did that happen? I thought it was destroyed."

"It's a replica." Tommy replied. "We aren't sure how big or powerful it is yet, but we aren't waiting around to find out. Did Alpha set you up with your morpher and the black dino gem?"

"Yeah. They are pretty sweet by the way." Adam smirked, pulling his from the back of his belt. "Are these the gems your kids used?" I looked at Tommy, confused. How did Adam know about the Dino Thunder team?

"Adam worked with Kira, my yellow ranger, with the Operation Overdrive Rangers. They fought against Rita and Zedd's other kid, Thrax." Tommy explained.

"He was tough as shit. I hate to see what we are up against with this Rosita character."

"She'd give her parents a run for their money." I mumbled. "What's our next plan of action?" My eyes drifted to the Viewing Globe. It was the same as it had been when we left. The basement of the hotel was empty, the crates still sitting untouched. The putties had halted the building process the previous day, not doing much than checking the room now and then. From what we could tell, they were waiting on more parts of the Zord to arrive to continue building. Zordon had tried to reach out to other galaxies to see if he could find where the shipments were coming from, but no one seemed to know of anything.

"We start prepping for a fight. I think if we draw them out, we can try to take out Rosita and Goldar. Strasser is the weakest of them." Tommy said, stepping towards the middle of the room. "The Zords are ready and we can form the Megazord. With that and the Dragonzord, we can do our best to take care of the problem before it gets too out of hand."

"What if they don't show?" Rocky asked.

"Then we will have Alpha do something that will draw the citizens of Angel Grove out of the Tricotta. Like the fire alarm. They will need to evacuate then." Billy responded, hovering over the control panel. "I've been able to synchronize our computer with the minor controls of their fire system."

"And once we know they are all out, we will head to the hotel and handle it that way." Tommy's jaw clenched and the vein in his forehead bulged slightly. "This ends today."
