Hey wonderful readers! I'm back with another chapter! Enjoy ^.^
Me and Train walked around Sangelas City.
I reloaded my gun, and so did Train. We heard explosions. Me and Train ran in the direction of the explosions.
We saw Charden about to kill some security guards. Train shot a bullet at the red cloud about to envelop the guards.
"We came!" I yelled, "Now where's Creed!"
Kyoko came closer to Train who was on the ground now as well as me. Train pointed his gun at her.
"I want Creed!" he said.
"Have patience," said Charden, "You will see Creed shortly."
"I don't have anymore patience," I said with hatred and anger in my voice, "And when I'm out of patience, you're out of luck!"
Train shot Charden's hat.
"Bring him to me before I get angry!" said Train.
"Welcome Train and Spirit," said Creed, "I can't believe you two accepted my invitation. Let me introduce you to the Apostles of the Star!"
I glared at Creed.
"Now your only choice is to join me—"
Train shot at Creed's head. Creed moved his head to the right and dodged.
"Why did you have to kill Saya?" asked Train.
"That evil look in your eyes," said Creed, "That's what I remember best about you two. I'd kill that witch all over again to see that hate and anger."
"Shut the hell up!" I yelled as I unsheathed my sword and lunged at Creed.
Creed kept whipping me with his own sword. I kept getting up. I stabbed Creed with my sword and pulled it out. The wound closed.
"What?" I said.
I bug wrapped around me and held me in the air. My sword clattered on the ground.
Train started doing the same thing I did.
"Train! Spirit!" yelled Sven. Eve and Rinslett were with him.
I felt gravity get heavier, like I was being crushed.
"...Sven..." I struggled to say. The air was really thin as well.
"Are you having trouble?" asked Creed like he was genuinely worried. He snapped his fingers and the gravity was lessened, but it was still far from normal.
Creed walked over to me and the man with the metal mouth pointed his gun at Train and shot him. Well, it seemed like he shot Train, but Sven got in the way and took the bullet. The insect wrapped around me disappeared and the gravity turned to normal.
I took out my gun.
"Die!" I yelled at I shot in his direction.
The woman with Creed, Ekidna, opened a portal. Me and Train tried to run after them. Sven grabbed Train and Rinslett grabbed me.
"Let me go!" I yelled as I got out of Rinslett's grip.
I was shooting at the portal as I was running towards it. But I was too late. I got to the portal just as it closed.
Train grabbed Sven.
"Why'd you stop me?!" yelled Train
"Can't you see how reckless you've become?!" yelled Sven, "It's like you wanna die!"
"Yeah but it's my life and I can do whatever the hell I want!" yelled Train.
"We're not your damn responsibility!" I yelled, "You don't decide what I do!"
Sven slugged Train in the face. Rinslett walked up to me and slapped me—hard.
"Stop acting!" yelled Sven, "Without us, you'd be nothing!"
"Well I've survived fine on my own for this entire time!" I yelled.
Rinslett punched me this time. I fell on the ground and looked at her with my hand on my right cheek.
"You're right," said Rinslett, "You're not our responsibility. But we care about you, because you're our friend."
"Friends are a joke," I muttered.
I was leaning against a tree while Train was laying down on the grass away from everyone. Eve was bandaging Sven's wound.
"What's is like," asked Rinslett, "Acting like a child and having everyone that cares about you worry."
"I haven't done anything to make you guys care about me," I said, "No one's ever cared for me. Not my parents, nor Chronos, so why should you?"
The only people who have cared for me weren't even people, I thought, They were wolves.
~Flashback~
"Faster!" yelled Snow, "You have to be faster to be a hunter!"
Over the past few months, I had been able to understand what the wolf that had saved me was saying.
"I can't," I said, "I'm not as fast as you!"
"Then work harder!" she yelled.
I caught up to the caribou and stabbed its chest with a dagger I found in the woods.
"I did it!" I said.
"Knew you could," said Snow, "And from here on out, you're using this."
She gave me something. It was a gun. My eyes widened. It was the gun that belonged to the man who killed my parents.
I backed away from it.
"You can't run from your past," said Snow, "You live with it and carry on."
I nodded as I took the gun.
I walked along the river.
"This sucks," I muttered.
My stomach growled. I sweat-dropped. I looked in the direction that Train and all the others were.
I guess Train's cared about me, I thought.
I thought about Sven jumping in front of Train and taking the bullet.
If Sven didn't take that, I thought in realization, Train would have died!
I walked back over to the others. I flicked Sven, who was sitting against a tree.
"I'm hungry," I said.
Sven sighed. "I just did this with Train," he muttered.
"I won't get anything fancy," I said, "Not like steak or anything good like that. I can just settle with a sandwich. Ok?"
"Is that a way of saying sorry?" asked Sven.
I kept quiet.
"It could be," I said, "Or not."
I winked at him. He punched me.
"Ow," I said, "Guess I deserved that."
"Yeah," said Rinslett.
"Don't worry about it Wolfie," said Train.
I glared at him and playfully punched him. But it was still kind if hard.
"Ow!" he said, "That really hurt!"
I smirked.
"I told you not to call me that," I said.
"But you didn't need to punch me!" shouted Train.
"Whoops," I said, still smirking.
Hope you liked this chapter! See ya next time!
