"Cue the drum roll," Jade whispered to Angelica.

"Or the wedding march," Angelica said she was grinning from ear to ear all the dancers were.

"And so begins the greatest romance in history," Breeze said he was trying not to cry.

"It's also the shortest," Slam said this was both a happy and sad occasion as this was the beginning of the end.

"I don't know whether to be sad or happy," Camille said blowing her nose. "Oh shit here comes Skyla,"

Future Skyla smiled and waved before joining them.

"So your not mad?" Jade asked.

"No," Skyla smiled sadly.

"Good cuz we don't know if we're happy or sad," Camille started crying and hugged Skyla.

"I'm the one getting married and I don't know," She gave Camille a quick kiss on the head it was more affection than she usually showed.

Skyla smiled she now had five students surrounding her in a big group hug, "Have I ever told you I love you guys?" If possible the hug got tighter.

"We love you too," Jade said.

"That's why I didn't want to go," Angelica cried.

"I-" Breeze tried to spit out.

"Come on I got us really good seats," Skyla said leading her students towards the outdoor venue.

The sky dancers were in the first row usually reserved for the most important royal guests. Young Skyla was pacing the small area where the wedding would take place thankfully no guests had been allowed inside yet. When she saw them her eyes lit up and she rushed over. "I'm so glad your here," She threw her arms around two of the girls.

"Just relax," Future Skyla said touching her arm, "Skyler's a great guy,"

"I know," She looked away, "It's just a lot to get used to,"

"When I got married I was terrified but he made it easier he always could make me laugh," Future Skyla smiled.

"I'm not scared really but what if we don't last?" Young Skyla asked.

"It's a risk in every marriage but if your worried about that it means you love him," Future Skyla said.

"Love him?!" She paused thinking about it, "Ass hole,"

"Skyla!" Skyler waved from across the room. He joined the group and placed a hand on young Skyla's shoulder. "Father said to tell you we're all set,"

"Right," Skyla tried to move away to take her position.

"We still have a few minutes," Skyler said holding her back.

"Right," She sounded nervous.

"Skyla relax, everything will be fine, beside I love you,"

Skyla squeaked, everyone realized that was the first time he'd said it to her.

"I lo- love you too," Skyla said turning to face him.

Future Skyla felt a familiar warm on her shoulder she turned and saw future Skyler's ghostly hand resting on her shoulder. "I wanted to be here for the first time," He said softly.

"Skyler, I miss you," She whispered unsure if anyone else could see him, their younger selves definitely couldn't.

"The time line has been altered and I made sure to make it better this time, so when you go back I have a surprise waiting for you,"

"Huh?" Skyla was baffled. She turned around and was fully enveloped in Skyler's warmth.

"I'm so close to you, but so far," He pulled her into a dance that seemed to last for hours. He gave her a lingering kiss before everything faded it had all been in her head but her lips still felt warm.

"Skyla are you OK?" Breeze asked.

"Ya, I- just remembering my special night,"

A trumpet sounded, "It's time!" A wedding planner announced as she flew by.

"Good luck," Future Skyla ran her hand down young Skyla's arm. She then gave Skyler a kiss on the cheek, "Careful I can be a handful,".

He whispered in her ear, "I'm counting on it,"

The musicians started a slow gentle song Skyler quickly flew away to his position while Skyla tried to walk quickly in the large heavy dress.

The rest of the invited slowly filed in and took seats in the appropriate sections. Skyler stood at the front by the priest waiting for his bride you could tell he was trying to be a man and not the awkward young boy he was.

Soon the music changed and Skyla appeared walking down the isle Sky holding on to her arm, since she had no family here Skyla had asked the Queen to give her away.

Future Skyla knew how scary it was to get married in front of all these people especially when you weren't quite ready for this step. She pushed aside her dancers so she was now facing the isle, young Skyla smiled at the woman who had become her mentor, "Just relax and smile, everyone here loves you," Future Skyla whispered.

"Really?" Young Skyla whispered back.

Future Skyla pointed to the rest of the room, young Skyla's eyes followed she saw several maids and servants crying.

"Really," Sky said leaning her head towards the girl and she gently tugged her forwards resuming the slight halt.

Soon young Skyla was standing beside Skyler and the priest was rambling on about the meaning and value of love.

Future Skyla felt the familiar warmth again she looked over and saw her Skyler holding her hand. "I love you,"

"I love you too,"

"Now the prince has asked to say vows that he has written himself," The priest said.

"Skyla I know I didn't tell you about this so I don't expect you to have written vows you can just say the ones in the book," He took a deep breath, "Here it goes I love you, I know we're young but well you already mean the world to me and I promise that I will do what ever it takes to make you happy and keep you safe. I can't think of anyone or anything I love more," He looked at his shoes for a second and concentrated hard, after a second he pulled his head back up, "Now for the promises, I don't expect you to obey me or anything just listen to me from time to time," There was some laughter from the crowd, "I will love you though the good times, the bad, in sickness and in health and I will love you long after one of us is gone,"

"Skyla repeat after me," The priest said.

Skyla let go of Skyler's hand for a second to wave the priest away, "I got this," She grinned, "Skyler I love you and I promise to never obey," The crowd laughed again, "I promise I will make attempts at listening. I will never put dance above you because your more important than my greatest passion," There was a large awww. "Skyler I will love you through the good items and the bad, in sickness and in health, I will love you forever,"

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, future king and queen. You may now kiss the bride,"

Skyler came in a little too fast and bumped noses with his bride they laughed and quickly redid the kiss.

"The reception will follow in the throne room half an hour," A guard announced. After all the people except for the royal family, future Skyla and the sky dancers Skyla asked, "Are they all gone," He and Skyla had locked eyes for the last ten minutes. She nodded, he quickly dipped and made out with her.

Future Skyla looked around trying to see if her Skyler was still there, a tap on her right shoulder confirmed it. "I have to go my Queen but I love you know that I always have and will love you. When you get back to your time look behind the bookshelf. A letter telling you your surprise will be there. He gave her a quick kiss then faded. Skyla was left with the horrible empty feeling again she knew she would never see him again.

"Skyla what's wrong?" Jade asked.

"Skyler was here," She was crying now.

"What?" Jade asked she had never see anything.

"He was here but I know he's gone forever now I don't even think I'll see his ghost again,"

The other dancers noticed Skyla crying, "What's wrong?" Camille asked.

"Skyler was here," Jade explained while she rubbed Skyla's back.

"Oh Skyla," Camille hugged the woman.

"What's wrong?" Young Skyla asked now standing beside her friends.

"Emma's husband is dead," Slam explained.

Young Skyla jolted, "That's horrible, do you want to tell me what happened?"

"No it was so long ago," Skyla said her voice horse.

"Please don't be sad, maybe it's time to turn the page," Young Skyla said quoting something Sky always said to her. "I'm sorry I can't help more, but it's time for our first dance, maybe after you should hit the dance floor always helps me,"

Skyla's tears had mostly dried up after the first dances shortly after the band was changed out and the lights dimmed. The whole place became a mosh pit young Skyla and Skyler were jumping around somewhere in the middle of it all. Future Skyla got pushed onto the floor by a mass of people the dancers quickly followed.

The whole evening and long into the night was just pure insanity, the music the strobe lights it was six am before anyone got to bed.

"I am completely hammered," Future Skyla said stumbling to her room Queen Sky a step behind her.

"Enjoyed yourself?" Sky asked she wasn't ridiculing she just wanted to know.

"That's a lot more dancing then I've done in a long time," Skyla admitted she was trying to focus on the door knob to her room but it kept evading her grasp. Sky opened it for her. "Oh," Skyla said and stumbled in. She fell onto her bed and didn't move. Sky pushed some hair away from Skyla's face laughing that she was already asleep. She covered her up with a blanket before heading back to her own room.

"Bed?" Skyler asked finally glad to have a minute of quiet

"Definitely," Young Skyla said taking out her earrings. They both had a similar reaction to future Skyla's.

"So where's the after party?" Slam joked all the dancers were dead on their feet.

"I think I drank too much," Breeze said holding his head.

"I think we all did," Jade said swaying into her room.

"NITE!" Angelica yelled before following Jade in.
