PLEASE SEND ME IDEAS FOR ADDITIONAL CHAPTERS. OTHERWISE THE NEXT CHAPTER WILL LIKELY BE THE LAST ONE, BECAUSE I REALLY NEVER INTENDED THIS TO BE VERY LONG.

Since Sasuke knew that Sakura usually spent her afternoons in the training fields, he decided to leave her alone for now, and approach her later on. After all, he had experienced the aftermath of Sakura's training sessions enough times to know that it wasn't wise to interrupt.

His mind drifted back to their genin days, when he had never really paid attention to Sakura's abilities. He vaguely remembered mentioning it to her once, but it was so long ago, he couldn't be sure. She was definitely nowhere close to the level she was at now, and that wasn't just from Tsunade's training; Sakura devoted nearly all of her waking hours to looking over scrolls for new skills, perfecting her existing techniques, and practicing medical jutsu at the hospital.

(He recalled once overhearing Tsunade call Sakura a complete masochist for putting herself under so much stress constantly)

However, he couldn't deny the fact that she had become very skilled.

I wonder if her chakra control would be passed onto her children…he thought, imagining how she would act around kids. He had seen her interacting with young children at the hospital quite often, so he assumed she was naturally a caring person.

Before Sasuke knew it, hours had passed while he had been waiting, and he decided it was the appropriate time to visit Sakura's apartment. And seeing that it was nearly dinnertime, perhaps she would invite him in? By now, he could admit to himself that whatever it was that Sakura meant to him, he certainly didn't object to her company. (Well, as long as she wasn't wearing something distracting)

By the time he arrived, his knocks on the door went unanswered, making his brows furrow in frustration. She couldn't have been in any other place, so she must be ignoring h—

-and as he tried opening the door, he realized that it was unlocked.

You'd think she'd have the common sense to keep the door locked. What if someone robbed her without her noticing?

As he walked in, the apartment was silent, though the lights were on, and a pot of soup was being heated on the stove.

"Sakura?" he called out, the name feeling weirdly comfortable on his tongue as usual. "Are you here?"

He couldn't hear a response, so he walked further into the room, closing the front door behind him. The only parts of the house he had left to check were the bedroom and bathroom, though there was no sound of a shower running, so it was unlikely that she was in the bathroom.

Nevertheless, her bedroom was empty, though neat as always, save for the slightly crumped sheets where he assumed she had recently taken a nap.

So even though he was sure it would be pointless, he silently pushed open the door to the bathroom, expecting to find it empty. However, true to his luck, it most certainly was not empty.

There reclining in the large bathtub was Sakura, eyes closed and appearing to be sleeping in the steaming water. Her entire body was visible through the clear water, and he found himself both horribly shocked yet unable to look away.

His mouth dropped open, and he couldn't form any sort of sentence….he just stood there with wide eyes, frozen in place.

Her body was as silky and smooth as he had imagined, as well as being a wonderful mix of both muscle and feminine curves. In fact, he was so caught up in her beauty that he almost didn't realize his body ached in response to her appearance, desperately wanting to cross over to her and feel her skin with his own hands.

However, he also realized that what he was doing was highly immoral, and he had no business in being a peeking tom, no matter how attractive Sakura was. So he slowly left the room, careful not to make a single noise, and shut the door as silently as possible.

Once he had made it outside of the apartment, he realized two things: the universe was definitely trying to tell him something in these past weeks, and there was no questioning his desire for Sakura any longer. She was a potent mix of beauty, skill, and intelligence; if he kept hesitating, it was likely that someone else would claim her for their own.

I definitely can't tell Naruto. He'd just get that smug little smirk on his stupid face. But it's not like I can go to anyone for advice on this. They'd just tell Sakura.

So unfortunately for Sasuke, he was stuck. He knew that he wanted to pursue some sort of relationship with Sakura, but he wasn't sure exactly what he was expecting, and he sure as hell wasn't familiar with the protocol of asking someone out.

And there is always the possibility she'd reject me. After all, it's pretty obvious that she doesn't fawn over me like before.

So with a sigh, he decided to go pay a visit to the only man he thought would keep his problem a secret.

Kakashi.

Because even though Kakashi had never dated anyone (to his knowledge), he had read enough romance novels to know everything about it, and often supervised on seduction missions, so he had second-hand experience. And what did Sasuke have to lose? He knew that Kakashi was not the gossip-type, and even though he could be an asshole sometimes, at least he was realistic.

So he made up his mind.

Better go see Kakashi before it gets late.

It wasn't hard to find Kakashi, since he had a tendency of hiding out in his apartment as much as possible. In fact, the gray-haired man didn't even look surprised when Sasuke came knocking at his door. He actually looked like he had been expecting him for some reason.

Suspicions aside, Sasuke came in quickly, sitting down on the couch that Kakashi gestured to.

"So what brings Sasuke Uchiha to my humble abode?" Kakashi asked teasingly, sitting down on a chair that faced his former student. "Girl problems?"

Sasuke narrowed his eyes and shifted a little uncomfortably, refusing to answer the question.

Kakashi smirked. "About time. So who is the lucky lady?"

"Doesn't matter," Sasuke grumbled. "I just need to know how to ask someone to be your girlfriend."

"It isn't that easy," Kakashi sighed. "First you need to woo the girl. Make her feel comfortable in your presence. Make her feel wanted."

"Well I already did that," Sasuke responded, thinking back to the flowers he had brought Sakura, and how he had (tried to) take her out to eat with him.

Kakashi raised an eyebrow. "Oh really? For some reason I do not picture you as the romantic type."

"Obviously."

"Another less-used strategy is to overwhelm her with passion and lust," Kakashi smiled, making Sasuke feel quite unnerved.

"What the f-"

"You know. Make out with her furiously," Kakshi explained with a delighted twinkled in his visible eye. "Pin her against the wall and make her tremble with anticipation, take her to the bedroom and-"

"That's enough!" Sasuke interrupted forcefully, trying not to imagine Sakura trembling beneath him. "Give me something that actually works."

"Do you want examples from seduction missions I've been on?" Kakashi asked innocently, making Sasuke instantly distrust him.

"Hn." I'm probably going to regret this.

"Well for example, Sakura and I once went on a mission where we had to masquerade as lovers," Kakashi said, watching Sasuke's face contort with irritation. "So we had to convince the lord we were working with that we were on our honeymoon."

"…and?" Sasuke reluctantly inquired.

"And we were almost caught going through the room where he kept his top-secret information, so we had to pretend that we only came there for an empty space to…interact with each other."

"What is that supposed to mean?" Sasuke practically growled. He did not like the direction this story was going.

"So I pushed her against the wall, and she wrapped her legs around me in order to make out furiously like our lives depended on it…which was actually true. It saved us from being found out, and the guard that came in didn't suspect a thing. He just left us alone," Kakashi reminisced, faking an air of innocence. He certainly didn't miss the rage that flew across Sasuke's face, his cheeks burning red.

"I don't need your help," he hissed out, standing up quickly and making his way to the door. "Thanks for nothing."

He slammed the door on his way out, making Kakashi smile broadly. Nothing pushes a man over the edge like some well-placed jealousy.

With a content sigh, he leaned back into his chair, running a hand through his messy hair. I'm definitely winning that bet. It's pretty obvious that I made Sasuke snap.

SO I'M NOT DEAD. (even though it's been like a month since I've updated)

I've been really busy bc I changed roommates, I'm kinda-sorta in a love triangle right now, I've become even more of a partier (this may influence my AU fics lol), and FINALS.
