Castle Of Glass
Chapter 7:Warm Me Up In A Nova's Glow
"Um...Byakuya...?" A mousey voice flooded the young raven-haired man's ears, prompting the sluggish movement to open his eyes.
"What is it, Voltaire?" His languid voice replied, yawning lightly and shifting against the trunk of the tree where they lay.
"Don't you think we should go inside...or something? I mean...we're all dirty and...what we just did..." She trailed off and started to blush.
A soft chuckle escaped his throat before Byakuya mulled over her suggestion. "You're probably right." He exclaimed, pulling himself up and starting to stand. Byakuya pulled Voltaire up with himself and tied Voltaire's disheveled yukata around her thin frame before making himself decent.
They both traveled in the back-way paths away from any prying eyes and people who would have nothing but questions for the way the two appear. Passing the large command buildings and across sky-way bridges, the two finally reached the short cross-way leading to the young heir's room.
After arriving at the shoji screens that separated the couple from Byakuya's bedroom, they were approached by Torio, the family servant.
"Young Master, your grandfather wishes to speak with you." The old man said.
"Um...alright." Before following the man to see his grandfather, Byakuya instructed Voltaire to go ahead inside and get some rest.
"I'll see in a second, alright?" Byakuya smiled briefly and followed behind his elder servant.
'Wonder what's going on?' Voltaire thought, pulling back the sheets on the futon laid out in the middle of the room.
The flame-haired vixen walked around the decorated room pulling off her yukata and slipping on the burgundy, white-petaled kimono Byakuya had bought for her. She sat on the edge of the bed and chewed on the side of her lip as she patiently waited for her lover to return and, being the self-proclaimed impatient person that she was, became incredibly bored within minutes and started pacing back and forth through the small room, preparing a reason as to why she would burst in on a conversation between grandfather and grandson. Just as she was about to leave the room, Byakuya pulled open the shoji screens and peered at the slightly irritated woman who stood before him.
"What are you doing?" Byakuya asked with subtle amusement in his voice.
"What took you so long?! I've been waiting for forever!" Voltaire huffed, tangling her arms across her chest.
"Voltaire," Byakuya chuckled, "it's only been 10 minutes." He walked the rest of the way in the room and closed the screens behind him before heading to the closet Voltaire had retrieved the kimono and pulling out and pure white kimono of his own.
"10 minutes is 9 minutes too long! I was waiting for you but you take forever! I was about to go to bed without you..." She gently whispered the last part and stuck out her bottom lip, playfully pouting.
Byakuya let out another chuckle as he waltzed into the adjacent room and changed. Walking back into the room with Voltaire, he finally took a long look at his favorite woman. He up'ed and down'ed her a few times before she started blushing and begged the question.
"What?" She lowered her hands to her sides and shifted uncomfortably beneath his gaze.
"Beautiful..." He mumbled under his breath.
"...what?"
"I said you're beautiful." He smiled softly and walked towards her.
Byakuya slowly tied his arms around Voltaire's waist and pulled her close. As she let him tighten his grip and laid her head on his shoulder, Voltaire nuzzled the part of his neck the yukata didn't cover up, taking in all that was the vanilla and cherry blossom scent Byakuya was. While she was enjoying just being held by him, Byakuya gently pressed his thin, pink lips against her ear and whispered quietly.
"Absolutely breathtaking..." His words resonated and sent shivers down Voltaire's back.
"Byakuya..." She moaned his voice lightly before facing him, bright red cheeks and all. "Why do you keep teasing me...?" She pouted again.
He chuckled and kissed her lightly. "Who said I was teasing?"
"Nnn..." He captured her lips once more and, hoisting Voltaire up in his arms, carried his lover to his futon and laid her gently upon the silk sheets.
He smiled briefly before making a trail of pecks along her jaw, down her neck, for which she gave full access to, and pausing just inches above the layer of fabric that covered the perfectly plump mountains he was quite fond of. Byakuya peered up at the deeply flushed woman whose eyes were so clouded with momentary lust, she could barely keep herself together. He smiled once more before continuing.
Byakuya tugged at the loose fabric, pulling it open to reveal the voluptuous skin beneath. Voltaire gasped quietly at the sudden feeling of the cool air against her glided his palms over the peaks of the mounds, gently massaging them and relishing the beautifully audible moans escaping Voltaire's lips. A sharp yelp followed the moans when Byakuya licked her nipple.
"Byakuya...aahh..."
He pushed away the layers not held down by the sash and kissed his way down to her naval. Voltaire tensed immediately when Byakuya glided a hand up her thigh, moving the fabric that covered her lower body. He pushed himself up, put his weight on his arm, and took a long view at Voltaire, who was by now a complete, writhing, disheveled mess. She took deep, shaking breaths as he peered down at her, her eyes cloudy and cheeks flushed to a deep crimson color.
"Gorgeous..." He whispered, his words reaching Voltaire's ears and causing her to shift her body to pull open what was left of the yukata that covered only certain parts of her body now. She now lay naked before him, except for her arms, and whispered something too low to be audible.
"What was that?" He asked, pulling her up into his lap. She laced her arms around his neck and took a few raspy breaths before repeating herself.
"Keep...g-going..." Her voice was soft and pleading. "Bya...kuya...keep going..." She yearned for him to continue.
He smiled again. "Don't worry," he pulled her forward so the two were face to face. "We are far from finished." He kissed her, his intent flooded with fervidity and hunger. Though she was practically melting in his grasp, Voltaire returned his hunger, digging her nails in his shoulders with anticipation of what Byakuya planned to do as he reached to move the fabric covering his now throbbing, aching member that craved for the woman in his arms.
"Bya...ahh...do...do it..." She closed her eyes as he gently lifted her and put her down slowly on himself. "Ngh! Bya-! Byakuya! Nnn!"
He paused his movements to let her adjust. He searched for her gaze and when he found it, he gave her a look as if to ask if he could continue.
"It's okay...you can m-move..." She touched her forehead with her own before Byakuya laid her back down on the sheets.
She flinched lightly when her back touched the silk as they had grown colder whilst she was in the heir's arms. The mood changed almost instantaneously when he kissed her softly, the hunger growing gentler and softer than before although there was no loss in the passion his was presenting. He took a breath and placed each hand on her either side of her head, making full eye contact as he lowered himself to his forearms.
He kissed once more and began thrusting slowly causing Voltaire to arch her back off the bed. He sped up, hearing the breathy moans escaping her mouth that begged for a quicker pace.
"Bya...kuya..." Between each syllable of the words she spoke, he plunged inside of her, calling forth a feeling that built up in the bottom of both of their stomachs.
"Voltaire..." A few thrusts and Voltaire started nearly screaming his name. She dug her nails into his back, guiding them down and leaving large scratches down his back.
"I'm...gonna...!" Before she could finish what she was saying, her peak was reached and her walls tightened around Byakuya's member causing his climax as well. "Bya...!" She arched her back as she screamed his name before collapsing back to the satin sheets with him in her arms, breathing heavily with sated expressions.
"Voltaire..." He whispered, pulling himself up to her ear.
She smiled lightly, expecting to hear what he almost always said after these intimate sessions. "I love you, too"
"Voltaire..." He repeated. "Marry me..."
It took only seconds to sink in before she immediately told him to repeat himself.
"Marry me...Voltaire. I love you...marry me." He looked straight into her emerald orbs, ignoring the wild hairdo she had adopted during the...proceeding events.
After a few quiet moments of Voltaire searching for any look suggesting he was joking, she found none.
"You're serious?" She watched him for sign of rejection.
"Of course." Byakuya knitted his brows together. "Why would I joke about this?"
A few more quiet moments passed.
"Voltaire." He snickered nervously. "Say something. Please." Byakuya started to worry.
Voltaire tried to say something but every time she tried to speak, the words wouldn't form. She took a deep breath and finally got the words out.
"Yes..." She whispered.
"Yes?" He repeated for confirmation.
"Yes!" She laughed.
"What do you think she's dreaming about now?" Lieutenant Kotetsu asked Jyuushiro, who stayed around to keep a close eye on the woman who had forgotten who she was.
"I'm not sure but it seems to be a pleasant one. She's been smiling for quite a bit now." He commented, observing the pleasant expression painted on V's face. "I guess we'll find out when she wake's up, hmm?"
"Well, I don't know what she's dreaming about, but what I do know is that when she left, it wasn't her choice." Shinji interjected, handing two sheets of paper to Jyuushiro.
"What's this?" He scanned the paragraphs as he explained what they meant.
"Apparently, when Aizen was conductin' his Hollowfication research, he was also experimentin' on the side with a group of soul reapers he promised to fuse with hollow-like abilities. They took about 15 people that met a list of traits an' genetic markers and, after administerin' certain medications and kido-enlaced surges of spiritual pressure, observed their reactions." Shinji elaborated.
"So then, the Hogyoku wasn't the only thing he used to get to a higher level of power?"
"Yea. He was tryin to achieve a 'superior bein' through harnessin' all the innate abilities these people had. Maybe he believed that if he couldn't get exponential power an' immortality for the Hougyoku, he could get it from someone who already had them."
"Which means, she has more than a good enough reason to run. She didn't want to get tested on anymore."
"That's what I'm thinkin' but we can't figure that out 'til V-chan wakes up. An' I don't know when that'll happen." Shinji sighed deeply. "This is sooo much more complicated than what I was thinkin'. Fer the longest time, everybody thought she deserted, but she had no other choice in the matter."
So this is the new chapter and I hope you like it. I'll be able to update more regularly after the new year so this whole taking several weeks to read another chapter thing will end soon, I promise. REVIEW!
