Celestial Dragon

Chapter Seven
Lucy was now back to being chained against the wall with the self-inflicted cuts that covered her body. She wanted to cry from the pain that coursed through her body, but she refused to let the tears fall from her eyes. Not once the whole three days that she has been trapped in the hell they put her in did she cry and she wasn't going to start now. It had been a couple hours since Amaya put her back on the wall and left to check in with small girls so called father. Lucy was thinking about taking a nap when she heard two sets of footsteps heading toward her cell causing her to let out an irritated sigh.
"Did you miss me?" asked a males voice from the door way. There was nothing special about the man voice, but it still annoyed her just as much as if it was Takeshi.
"Go away Kenshin," Lucy growled out between clenched teeth not bothering to look at the people in the door way. She did not need to look to see who was with him, she already knew.
"Oh come on, is that anyway to talk to my beloved and me for coming to see you," the man laughed out.
Lucy looked up and gave the man her most hateful glare. The man before her looked to be in his early twenties, had short blond hair with his bangs spiked up and leaf green eyes that looked joyful. His body stood just a little taller than Natsu but his build was the same. He was wearing a black t-shirt that had a skull, black jeans, and a black spiked dog collar around his neck. Behind him still standing in the doorway was Amaya.
"I don't think you can say beloved when she is being forced to be with you. What the hell are you doing here anyways?"
"The master wanted me to try and get that name again. We can't have a traitor walking among us," Kenshin said with a crazed smile as he reequipped his arm blades on. The blades were rather large for his arms, but Lucy knew from experience that he could use them with ease. "I'm going to enjoy this."
Lucy let out a scream as she felt one of Kenshin's arm blades slowly make its home in her stomach. She thrashed around trying to free herself to fight back against the assault she knew was just beginning. She wanted to scream for Amaya to help her, to make him stop, but she knew that it would only put Amaya up on the execution block. The blade was still slowly making its way into her and only bring more pain.
"That is enough Kenshin," Amaya's voice said in her normal emotionless tone and Lucy couldn't be more relieved.
"Who are you to tell me what to do?! The master wants the name of the traitor that helped her almost escape!" the blonde haired man yelled at her.
"The master also wants her alive. She lost enough blood when she was tortured a while ago and I will not risk the wrath of our master if his precious dragon was to bleed to death." Amaya did not once show the worry that she was feeling on the inside.
Kenshin smiled another one of his smiles that made him look like a mad man at the purple haired girl. "Oh my dear little water mage, you are always looking out for me." Kenshin let out a laugh that sounded like he had just lost his mind and looked at Lucy. "I guess I'll be seeing you bright and early tomorrow. Let's go my little rain drop."
Lucy watched as Amaya made her way out the door right behind Kenshin, looking once over her shoulder to give Lucy one last look before disappearing. As soon as they were gone Lucy closed her eyes and allowed images of her team and mates to flash through her mind. She wasn't sure how much longer she could last without them by her side. Over the last three days she has been through so much and she was starting to have a hard time keeping her sanity intact. Darkness slowly took her off to the dream world where the nightmares of the last few days awaited her.
…
Since the cell they held her in had no windows Lucy was unsure of how long the nightmares plagued her. She wasn't sure how many times she tried to force herself awake but to no avail. The lack of sleep kept her in that hell for what felt like days. Lucy opened her eyes slowly to find Amaya standing there with a dagger in one hand and a small jar in the other. This startled the blonde hair mage fully awake and all she could do was stair at the sixteen year old.
"I'm sorry Lucy. I really am," Amaya spoke softly as she stepped closer to her, putting the blade of the dagger against Lucy's arm. Like always her face held no emotion so Lucy was unsure what was going on.
"What are you doing?!" Lucy shrieked at the girl. This was the first that Lucy saw Amaya hold a knife to her without another member of the guild being present and she was starting to freak out a little bit. Before Lucy could say anymore Amaya made a deep cut into her arm and put the jar below it to allow the red liquid to fall in.
"I guess I should be saying my farewells now, you will be getting visitors soon." Amaya voice almost sounded sad as she spoke those words. The first friend she had ever made in her lifetime and now she would be leaving her soon.
It took a moment for Lucy to process what Amaya had just told her and the light bulb clicked on. "Come with us. You should not have to be here just because that mad man is your father."
"Saving one person does not make up for the many of lives that I made perish from this world." Once the jar was completely full Amaya removed the lid that was in her pocket and fastened it tightly to the top of the jar. She turned to walk out of the room when Lucy's voice stopped her.
"Please Amaya, if you don't let them know who you are you will be mistaken for an enemy and I don't think my team or my mates will hold back. I know you have done horrible things, but I also know that you didn't have any choice in the matter. You are kind and soft hearted person even if you don't want to show it."
"I don't think the family members of those who are now gone would agree with you on this. Death is the only way to repent for my actions and it is the only way I can escape from their clutches. Good-bye Lucy Heartfilia, it has been a pleasure to know one such as yourself. You are truly the light of Fairy Tail."
Lucy watched as the young mage disappeared out of the cell and knew that that maybe the last time she ever saw her again. For the first time since Lucy arrived at this dump of a guild hall she cried.
…
Master Makarov sat on top of the bar looking around at all of his children. It was heart breaking to see so many depressed faces. Natsu sat at his normal table with his team minus one person. He was looking at an old picture of him and Lucy, it was easy to tell that his heart still belonged to the celestial dragon. Not far from him was Lisanna at another table looking at him sadly, and you couldn't not notice the love she held for him in her eyes. Sting's group had also made it back to the guild and was sitting in the back sulking from the lack of locating the blonde mage. Just as the master couldn't take any more and was getting ready to head to his office the guild doors swung open to reveal Lucy's mates.
"We are leaving," Laxus roared across the guild at his grandfather. All three of the males had a determined look on their faces that dared anyone to get in their way.
"You need more rest!" Makarov yelled back at his stubborn headed grandchild. "You only have been here one night and highly debut any of you slept well."
"It doesn't matter, the longer we stay here the less likely we will be to find anything on Bunny," Gajeel growled out at the old man. Makarov was about to the fight back with the trio until Natsu spoke up.
"We are going with you and it is not a request." Natsu glared at Laxus who just shrugged at him. Team Natsu made their way over to Gajeel, Bickslow, and Laxus egger to be back on the search.
"Fine," the master said with a sigh. He knew there was no use in fighting with the mages, Fairy Tail was home to some of the most stubborn mages around after all.
The group wasted no time in leaving the guild and making their way to the edge of the city to start their search anew. The walk was quiet, everyone to depressed with thinking about Lucy to actually try and make conversation.
When they made it to the edge of the woods Gajeel was the first to stop and sniff the air and his eyes widened in surprise. "Laxus, Natsu do you smell that," he asked unsure if it was his mind playing tricks on him.
The group stopped to allow Natsu and Laxus to get a good sniff at what was in the air and whatever it was that they smelled caused them to freeze. Laxus was the first to move running to where the scent was coming from with the group of mages hot on his heels. They stopped shortly after and Laxus dropped into a crouch and sniffed whatever was in front of him on the ground. Gajeel and Natsu watched the large man carefully.
"What is it?" Erza asked starting to feel a little uneasy. Laxus gave the two dragon slayers a nod before anyone answered.
"It is Lucy's blood and from the smell of it it's fresh," Natsu growled out. His eyes were filled with anger, whoever spilled Lucy's blood was going to pay dearly.
"Those bastards are going to pay with their lives for hurting her," Bickslow said, venom dripping from his words. Everyone in the group felt the same way.
"Looks like someone left us a trail right to their front door," Laxus said as an evil smirked graced his lips.
